Abstract

Pembelajaran di dalam kelas seringkali menghadapi tantangan seperti kurangnya komunikasi antara peserta didik dan guru, rasa bosan, serta kesulitan penyesuaian diri dengan teman, yang berdampak negatif pada proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran dukungan sekolah dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi belajar peserta didik melalui pembelajaran di luar ruangan. Dengan pendekatan fenomenologi kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sekolah berupa motivasi dan apresiasi terhadap guru serta pembangunan hubungan positif antara guru dan peserta didik sangat penting dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan kualitas pembelajaran. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya penyediaan fasilitas luar ruangan yang lebih baik untuk mendukung pembelajaran aktif dan kreatif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of sales promotion and direct marketing on the sales volume of Yammy Babeh's cassava chips products. The research method used is a quantitative method with associative research type. Respondents consisted of 100 people who followed Krispy Yammy Babeh's Instagram account, had made purchases, and were fully willing to be involved in the research process. Based on the findings, analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that both partially and simultaneously there is a significant influence between the independent variables, namely sales promotion (X1) and direct marketing (X2) through social media Instagram on the dependent variable, namely Sales Volume (Y). Sales promotion activities to introduce products can be carried out massively and continuously to make it easier for customers or potential customers to know more details about the products being sold. Yammy Babeh's online direct marketing activities in all online media, including Instagram, are able to attract consumers to make purchases.

Abstract

Teachers as an element in education not only play an important role as agents who provide knowledge but also as agents who provide assistance and support for students to overcome difficulties in the learning process. Teachers often become subjects, especially in discourses that discuss management, character building, and the effectiveness of the learning process so that the discourse of teachers as subjects who have a role in overcoming student difficulties tends to be neglected in scientific discussions. In line with that, this study focuses on the question "What is the role of teachers in overcoming students' difficulties in understanding and reading the Qur'an". To answer this question, this study used a descriptive qualitative approach by conducting observations and interviews with teachers and students. The findings in this study show that teachers have a crucial role in overcoming difficulties in understanding and reading the Qur'an among students in elementary schools. The role of teachers applied through personal approach, conducting learning evaluation, and providing interactive materials to students has been able to overcome students' difficulties in understanding and reading the Qur'an.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Makassar dengan tujuan untuk, (1) menganalisis pengaruh paparan informasi politik melalui media sosial dalam bentuk kriteria informasi (X1) dan sumber informasi (X2) secara simultan, (2) menganalisis pengaruh paparan informasi politik melalui media sosial dalam bentuk kriteria informasi (X2) secara parsial, dan (3) menganalisis pengaruh paparan informasi politik melalui media sosial dalam bentuk sumber informasi (X2) secara parsial terhadap perilaku pemilih pemula dalam pemilihan presiden 2024 di Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan terlebih dahulu mendefinisikan konsep-konsep sebagai variabel terkait dan kemudian mengumpulkan data menggunakan kuesioner. Untuk menjawab hipotesis yang dirumuskan, analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis jalur. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Ada pengaruh dari informasi politik yang disampaikan melalui media sosial, baik dalam bentuk Kriteria Informasi (X1) dan Sumber Informasi (X2), secara simultan terhadap perilaku pemilih pemula dalam pemilihan presiden 2024 di Makassar. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS versi 25 menunjukkan nilai F sebesar 42.516, yang melebihi nilai F-tabel sebesar 3.09. (2) Tidak ada pengaruh signifikan dari paparan informasi politik melalui media sosial dalam bentuk Kriteria Informasi (X1) terhadap perilaku pemilih pemula. Perhitungan menunjukkan hubungan linear antara variabel independen eksogen Kriteria Informasi (X1) dan variabel endogen perilaku pemilih sebesar 0.118 atau 11.8%. Nilai t-hitung sebesar 0.869 lebih kecil dari nilai t-tabel sebesar 1.660, yang mengarah pada keputusan untuk menerima H0 dan menolak H1. Ini berarti bahwa Kriteria Informasi (X1) tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku pemilih pemula dalam pemilihan presiden 2019 di Makassar. (3) Ada pengaruh signifikan dari paparan informasi politik melalui media sosial dalam bentuk Sumber Informasi (X2) terhadap perilaku pemilih pemula dalam pemilihan presiden 2024 di Makassar. Perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa nilai t-hitung sebesar 4.262 lebih besar dari nilai t-tabel sebesar 1.660, yang mengarah pada keputusan untuk menolak H0 dan menerima H1. Ini menunjukkan bahwa ada dampak signifikan dari paparan informasi politik melalui media sosial dalam bentuk Sumber Informasi (X2) terhadap perilaku pemilih pemula dalam pemilihan presiden 2024 di Makassar.

Abstract

Studi ini mengevaluasi penerapan etika komunikasi di Universitas Almarisah Madani, dengan fokus pada tantangan dan praktik yang dihadapi dalam konteks akademik. Etika komunikasi, sebagai elemen penting dalam proses belajar mengajar, berperan vital dalam membangun hubungan yang saling menghormati antara mahasiswa, dosen, dan staf administrasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data termasuk wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Temuan mengungkapkan adanya kesenjangan yang signifikan antara kebijakan etika komunikasi tertulis dan praktik sehari-hari, yang disebabkan oleh pelatihan dan orientasi mendalam yang tidak memadai. Selain itu, tantangan dalam menerapkan etika komunikasi terlihat dari ketidaknyamanan dalam interaksi di dalam kelas dan pertemuan akademik, serta pengaruh teknologi yang memperluas jangkauan komunikasi tetapi juga memperkenalkan risiko baru terkait privasi dan etika. Studi ini merekomendasikan pengembangan program pelatihan etika komunikasi yang lebih komprehensif dan penyesuaian kebijakan untuk mencakup penggunaan teknologi digital. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan praktis dan rekomendasi yang berguna bagi institusi pendidikan lainnya yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan etika komunikasi di lingkungan akademik mereka.

Abstract

Teachers make various efforts to achieve educational goals, these include efforts to overcome the moral decadence of students. This study discusses the efforts of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in overcoming the moral decadence of students. By using field research, this research begins with observation, interviews as well as documentation related to the problem being analyzed. The use of field research aims to examine and find out the efforts of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in overcoming the moral decadence of students. This research showed that the efforts made by Islamic Religious Education teachers to overcome the moral decadence of students include preventive efforts, curative efforts, and nurturing efforts. These efforts create a more conducive school situation and a more communicative relationship between all concerned sides, among students, teachers, and the parents of students. The implication of efforts to overcome moral decadence made by all sides is how the process can be adjusted to the pattern and pace, as well as the rhythm of learner development.

Abstract

The proliferation of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies has transformed the digital communication landscape, while simultaneously emerging new variants of online gender-based violence (OGBV). This study aims to analyze how deepfake and voice cloning technologies are utilized as instruments of symbolic terror, blurring the lines between reality and fabrication. Employing a qualitative approach with case study methods and critical discourse analysis, this research examines the phenomenon of AI misuse within the context of Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC). The findings indicate that AI-facilitated violence creates a "hyperreality" of victimization; wherein victims experience tangible psychological and social impacts even though the abusive material is digitally synthesized. From a communication perspective, this phenomenon degrades digital identity integrity and creates a chilling effect that silences women's participation in the public sphere. Indonesian regulations, including the ITE Law and the Sexual Violence Crime Law (UU TPKS), are considered to suffer from a cultural lag in responding to the rapid adoption of this technology.

Abstract

This study proposed and tested an extended model of the theory of planned behavior (TPB) to understand the determinants of academic cheating using generative AI (GenAI). This model integrates intrinsic and extrinsic motivation as antecedents of the core constructs of TPB, namely attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control, to predict cheating intentions and behavior. Quantitative data were collected from 243 undergraduate students in West Java through a survey and analyzed using confirmatory partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The model demonstrated satisfactory global fit (SRMR = .045; NFI = .92), supporting the hypothesized structure. The results indicate that the proposed model can explain significant variance in cheating intentions and behavior. Perceived behavioral control proved to be the strongest predictor of cheating intentions. More importantly, both behavioral intention and perceived behavioral control directly and strongly predicted self-reported academic cheating behavior. This study concluded that the extended TPB is a robust framework for this phenomenon, highlighting the dominant role of perceived behavioral control. Its practical implications emphasize the need for institutional interventions focused on reducing the perceived ease and increasing the perceived risk of GenAI misuse to maintain academic integrity.

Abstract

In the hospitality industry, hotel information systems are predominantly operated in English, presenting linguistic challenges for staff with limited proficiency in English. This study aims to analyze the English comprehension ability of employees at Hotel Griya Sintesa Muara Enim, with a particular focus on their understanding of English-based hotel information systems. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, data were collected through a written vocabulary test (comprising 20 multiple-choice and matching items), semi-structured interviews, and documentation from 30 front-office and operational staff members. Descriptive statistical analysis revealed an average correct-response rate of 69.2% (mean score = 70.5), placing overall comprehension in the “Paham” (Understand) category. While most employees could operate the system functionally, difficulties persisted with technical terms such as PMS, interface, database error, and backup file. Key contributing factors include limited prior English training, infrequent exposure to technical vocabulary, and reliance on peer assistance. The findings suggest that staff's functional English proficiency is sufficient for daily operations but requires targeted support to enhance accuracy and confidence. Recommendations include implementing English for Hospitality Systems training, developing an in-house English terminology glossary, and establishing an internal mentoring program. This study underscores the importance of integrating language support into hospitality technology adoption to ensure operational efficiency and service quality.
