Abstract

West Kalimantan is one area that is often dubbed as the "Thousand Rivers Region" because of West Kalimantan are fed by hundreds of rivers and small which are still frequent and are navigable. Most of the major rivers is still often used as a means of transport path, both people and goods. One of the areas / districts in the province of West Kalimantan still take the river route to transport activity (people / goods) is Kubu Raya. In essence the river path through every district in Kubu Raya has a very important role in the activity of logistics activities, both the distribution as well as loading and unloading activities. Given the importance of the activity of the logistics activities through the river, but the resources that explain the logistics system of the river in Kubu Raya which is currently still in existence. In addition, research conducted on the logistics system of the river is still very rare. This research aims to obtain data and information on the profile and problems of logistics river system. This research is a case study (case study) that is descriptive qualitative survey method and observation. In addition, the literature that comes from a book published by BPS (Central Bureau of Statistics) and data BAPPEDA (Regional Development Planning Board) is also a method used to complete the data and information required in this study. Limitation of the study area in this study include the District of Kuala Mandor B, Kubu, Terentang, Teluk Pakedai, Batu Ampar and Rasau Jaya. The results of this study explain that in general transport activity in Kubu Raya is done through access to the river path. Transport activity performed using several types of transport stream that has its own functions and mechanisms. When present, the activity of the transport through the river has experienced a shift that tends to land transportation. Logistics system problems affecting the river due to road infrastructure became available, the start of the siltation of rivers, less terawatnya existing river channels, insufficient logistics facilities and construction of the bridge (bullying) is not well organized. Although the transport activity through the river has undergone a shift, but still there is one district that most of the activity was carried out through the river, namely the Kubu district. Based on the analysis using the logistic mechanism SocNetV- 2.1 applications to determine the logistics center of the six districts under study on the city of Pontianak, found that the exact location serve as the central logisitk located in Kubu district, precisely in the village of Kubu.Keywords : geographical conditons, inland waterway,                   logistics system

Abstract

Indonesia has witnessed significant developments in its education system. However, challenges persist, including the limited use of interactive and innovative teaching methods at the primary school level. In the field, particularly in Gugus 5 Blimbing, many teachers lack the competence to develop interactive and innovative teaching materials. Leveraging Google Workspace for Education, this initiative aims to empower educators with accessible tools. The project entails three key activities: 1) Providing primary school teachers in Gugus 5 Blimbing with guidelines for creating interactive teaching materials; 2) Hosting a workshop on "Developing Teaching Materials for Primary School Teachers Using Google Workspace for Education and Tome AI"; and 3) Producing video tutorials on "Enhancing Teaching Materials for Primary School Teachers with Google Workspace for Education and Tome AI". This endeavor seeks to enable teachers to create more engaging and interactive learning experiences, ultimately improving student outcomes and the overall quality of primary education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pujon District is one of the areas where most of the population relies on making a living from the agricultural sector. In the Pujon District area, the average farmer with a land area of less than hectare with the amount of production that can be produced is 1-3 tons of rice. However, based on the phenomenon of the level of income of farmers in Pujon District, there are factors that influence it, such as rice field area, land ownership status, and religiosity. This study aims to examine the effect of rice field area, land ownership status, and religiosity on the income of rice farmers in Pujon District. This study conducted in the field in order to obtain information or data needed in research regarding respondents' responses by using questionnaires. The technique used in this research is random sampling technique is a technique of taking samples from respondents randomly. This questionnaire was then distributed to all residents of Pujon District and a sample of 109 respondents was obtained for distribution, using the slovin formula. The findings reveal that, the land area partially has a positive and significant effect on the income of rice farmers in Pujon District. Likewise, the land ownership status partially has a positive and significant effect on the income of rice farmers. Meanwhile, religiosity partially has no effect on the income of rice farmers. Furthermore, the land area, land ownership status, and religiosity simultaneously have a significant effect on the income of rice farmers in Pujon District.

Abstract

Membentuk budaya unggul di lingkungan Universitas Saburai , merupakan suatu kemutlakan untuk mempertahankan eksistensi dan kemajuan-kemajuan di kemudian hari. Komunikasi untuk dapat dikatakan efektif jika dapat menimbulkan dampak yaitu: (a) kognitif, yakni meningkatnya pengetahuan komunikan; (b) Afektif, yaitu perubahan pandangan komunikan, karena hatinya tergerak akibat komunikasi; dan (c) Behavioral yaitu perubahan perilaku atau tindakan yang terjadi pada komunikan.Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kualitatif dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis tabel sedangkan analisis kuantitatif dilakukan berdasarkan data primer yang diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden, kemudian hasil jawaban responden dihitung dengan rumus regresi linear berganda.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat diketahui bahwa pengetahuan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas komunikasi Fisipol Universitas Saburai. Sikap  berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas komunikasi mahasiswa Fisipol Universitas Saburai. Perilaku berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas komunikasi mahasiswa Fisipol  Universitas Saburai.Pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efektivitas komunikasi mahasiswa Fisipol Universitas Saburai. Besarnya pengaruh tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi variabel pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku terhadap efektivitas komunikasi adalah positif artinya jika pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku ditingkatkan menjadi semakin baik maka akan meningkatkan efektivitas komunikasi dan sebaliknya jika terjadi penurunan faktor pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku maka akan terjadi penurunan efektivitas komunikasi mahaswa Fisipol  Universitas Saburai.kata kunci: pengetahuan, sikap, perilaku, efektivitas komunikasi

Abstract

Teknologi Informasi Komunikasi (TIK) untuk perubahan kehidupan dan pertumbuhan ekonomi di daerah pedesaan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut website desa sebagai media Pelayanan informasi pembangunan, yang merupakan salah satu jenis layanan dari sistem e-Government. Hal tersebut menjadi penting, karena semakin seriusnya pihak pemerintah dalam mengembangkan sistem e-Government di Indonesia, semakin tingginya persentasi pengguna internet di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat implementasi website desa dalam upaya pemberian pelayanan informasi pembangunan pada masyarakat desa. Electronic Governmnet merupakan suatu proses sistempemerintahan dengan memanfaatkan Information Communication AndTechnology (ICT) sebagai alat untuk memberikan kemudahan proses komunikasidan transaksi kepada warga masyarakat, organisasi bisnis dan antara lembaga pemerintah serta stafnya, sehingga dapat dicapai efisiensi, efektivitas, transparansi dan pertanggungjawaban pemerintah kepada masyarakatnya (Hartono & Mulyanto, 2010). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang diharapkan mampu menghasilkan suatu uraian mendalam tentang ucapan, tulisan, dan tingkah laku yang dapat diamati dari suatu individu, kelompok, masyarakat, dan organisasi tertentu dalam konteks setting tertentu yang dikaji dari sudut pandang yang utuh, komprehensif, dan holistik (Bogdan dan Taylor, 1992). Website hanura.desa.id cukup efektif sebagai media penyebaran informasi pembangunan desa, baik efek dalam kajian komunikasi massa (kognitif, afektif, dan konatif) maupun komunikasi interpersonal (keterbukaan, empati, dan sikap mendukung). Abstract

In Mergosono Village, the program for using terraces to grow crops was carried out more than 5 years ago, through an “urban farming” program led by PKK women. There were more than 50 mothers who were involved in this activity. Through urban farming, each house is recommended to plant more than 10 potted plants, with various kinds of plants, such as: chilies, tomatoes, cabbage, eggplant, pok cay, mustard greens, and flowers. At first this activity only aimed to maintain the beauty of the village, so that it remains beautiful, but gradually it can be used to meet daily food needs, especially vegetables and "empon-empon". Even though this activity has been going on for more than 5 years, there are still many obstacles that they face, including: 1) PKK women are still not able to make special planting models for limited land, be it hydroponics or verticulture, therefore only polybag or pot models; 2) it is difficult to make a fertile planting medium, it seems that there are some plants that grow less healthy; 2) have not been able to create their own nurseries and have difficulty moving plants from the nursery box to pots or polybags; 3) have not been able to make environmentally friendly fertilizers (organic or compost); 4) have not mastered how to fertilize and when to fertilize properly; 5) do not understand good plant care techniques, do not know plant pests, and eradicate them, how to handle weeds). Therefore, assistance is needed to solve these problems in the form of technology transfer through training activities, mentoring, demonstration plots or direct practice.

Abstract

During this pandemic, teachers are required to be more creative and innovative in carrying out learning. It is still very rare for teachers to use the computer for the purpose of improving learning, let alone using Powerpoint-based learning media with various applications. Facts on the ground, namely in Cluster 6 Blimbing do not have sufficient competence in operating the tools available in Microsoft Office Powerpoint. Based on this, a learning media workshop is needed that is able to support this, does not require high specifications for laptop devices, and provides easy access guidebooks for educators. Powerpoint is an application that easily bridges users in designing various types of creative learning materials. In particular, PowerPoint has new features that can make it easier for educators to create media slides for presentations, learning videos, lesson plans, integration with virtual classroom platforms that support creativity and collaboration, etc. There are several specific activities that will be carried out to overcome the above problems through this Community Service, namely: 1) providing interactive learning media guidebooks to elementary school teachers; 2) holding a workshop “Development of Learning Media for Elementary School Teachers Using PowerPoint and Slidesgo”; and 3) Make a video tutorial "Development of Learning Media for Elementary School Teachers Using Interactive Learning Media".

Abstract

Waste management is a pressing concern in urban areas, and one effective solution is the establishment of a waste bank. In Kampung Mergosono, addressing waste issues involves active participation from the PKK (Family Welfare Movement) mothers. The goal is to educate and empower the community in waste management, fostering social awareness and behavior change through the "Waste Bank Gallery" for sustainable environmental development. The target audience is the PKK mothers, who are expected to lead the implementation of the waste bank gallery. The approach includes counseling on waste issues, waste management solutions, the Waste Bank Gallery program, waste handling procedures, task delegation, schedules, involved parties, and the benefits of proper waste management. Additionally, practical recycling of valuable waste materials and the use of organic waste as fertilizer for urban farming are taught. The outcome shows effective dissemination of the Waste Bank Gallery program, contributing to improved waste management in the area.

Abstract

Digitalisation in Indonesia has seen a significant development in education in recent years. Nevertheless, issues persist in the educational journey, including the absence of interactive and creative learning tools in primary education institutions. Teachers, at the forefront of the educational journey, hold a vital role in crafting learning materials. In the field, particularly in Gugus 5 Blimbing, it is evident that numerous educators lack the skills to create engaging and inventive learning resources. Consequently, student engagement and motivation suffer, resulting in a less impactful learning experience. To address this issue, a workshop focused on creating user-friendly learning materials, accessible to all educators, is essential. Assemblr Edu offers a platform for educational institutions to generate interactive 3D learning tools using Augmented Reality (AR).  Educational establishments have the ability to enhance learning materials by implementing Augmented Reality technology, allowing students to view virtual objects within the classroom.  The target output of this activity is that driving school teachers in Gugus 5 Blimbing have competence in developing 3D interactive learning media using Assemblr Edu Augmented Reality and AI technology.

Abstract

The PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Kaliabang Branch Office, often known as the BNI Kaliabang Branch Office, is a state-owned corporation that provides a variety of financial services to promote Indonesia’s economic growth and industrial development. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between organizational communication and employee motivation at the BNI Kaliabang Branch Office and to investigate how communication influenced motivation. The study adopted a quantitative descriptive method with a total sample of 80 respondents. To assess the causal relationship, data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and basic linear regression. The results showed that organizational communication had a significant impact on employee motivation, as demonstrated by a determination coefficient of 57.6% and a significance level of 0.000. The study highlighted that organizational communication within the branch was effective, and employee motivation levels were high. Despite these positive findings, areas for improvement were identified, including leveraging electronic media to enhance message dissemination, fostering employee skills to boost creativity and productivity, and introducing a “Best Employee of the Month” program to further motivate staff. These recommendations aimed to strengthen the organization’s communication strategies and sustain high employee performance, ultimately contributing to its overall operational success.
