Abstract

The dissemination of information via social media has significantly impacted psychological issues such as stress, fear, and anxiety within society. This is exemplified by the MPTT-I congregation in Aceh, who frequently faces societal rejection regarding their dhikr practices. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of dhikr in alleviating anxiety among members of the Indonesian Sufism Study (MPTT-I & Dhikr Rateb Seribe). This study uses a quantitative, quasi-experimental method with a nonrandomized pretest-posttest control group design. The study involved 20 subjects, evenly divided into experimental and control groups. The data collection used the Greenberger and Padesky anxiety scale. The results indicated a significant reduction in anxiety among the MPTT-I congregation following the implementation of the Dhikr. These findings suggest that dhikr is effective in reducing anxiety within the MPTT-I & Dhikr Rateb Seribe community.

Abstract

Struktur keluarga terganggu oleh perceraian dengan dampak negatif pada anak-anak. Banyak rumah tangga dipimpin ibu tunggal, sementara ayah tunggal menghadapi tantangan ganda. Peran ayah tunggal semakin penting dengan perubahan sosial dan ekonomi, serta nilai-nilai tradisional. Analisis perkembangan anak di Jawa menekankan peran ganda ayah tunggal, tantangan finansial, dukungan emosional, dan nilai-nilai budaya yang krusial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengasuhan ayah tunggal Jawa pada anak usia remaja. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran ayah tunggal di Jawa dalam mengasuh anak remaja meliputi pengasuhan, pembimbingan belajar, serta membutuhkan dukungan dan pemahaman lebih luas. Kendala seperti beban tugas rumah tangga menekankan pentingnya dukungan tambahan dari keluarga dan lingkungan. Ayah tunggal di Jawa juga dianggap sebagai contoh baik dalam mendidik anak dengan nilai-nilai budaya, sementara adaptasi dalam mengelola lingkungan keluarga menuntut kebijaksanaan dalam menyesuaikan nilai-nilai dengan budaya mereka tanpa terkekang pada satu pola tertentu.

Abstract

Studi ini menjelaskan kepemimpinan transformasional dengan berbagai dimensinya yang memiliki pengaruh besar pada pembentukan budaya jujur pada lembaga pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan konstruksi konseptual tentang kepemimpinan trasformasional dan pentingnya kepemimpinan trasformasional dengan semua dimensi yang dimilikinya dalam sebuah organisasi khususnya di lembaga Pendidikan. Selanjutnya melihat bagaimana bentuk konseptual kepemimpinan ini pada sebuah sekolah yang telah dikenal sebagai sekolah jujur di Aceh. Kelima dimensi kepemimpinan trasformasional tersebut adalah Idealized influence (attributed), Idealized influence (behavior), Inspirational motivation, Intellectual stimulation, Individualized consideration. Kajian konsep diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar pijakan untuk pengembangan dan pembiasaan prilaku jujur pada sebuah organisasi khususnya lembaga Pendidikan. Sementara implementasi model kepemimpinan di sekolah yang dipilih ini dapat menjadi contoh untuk mengembangkan budaya jujur di sekolah lain di tanah air.

Abstract

Moral degradation among Indonesian teenagers is a problem that has not yet been resolved, wildly since this moral degradation has penetrated boarding school institutions, which have good character education. So, this study aims to identify effective methods dormitory ustaz use in shaping student discipline, investigating obstacles and supporters in shaping student discipline at Muhammadiyah Boarding School Yogyakarta. This research uses a qualitative case study method. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. The informants in this study were dormitory ustaz, santri, and parents of santri. The results of this study show some of the efforts of the boarding coach in improving the disciplinary character of students in the era of moral degradation, including building good communication between the boarding ustaz and the parents of the students, conducting intensive communication with the students and supervising the daily routine of the students. The results of this study also show that ustaz's efforts to improve students' disciplinary character impact their morale. They can recommend that dormitory managers design more effective and sustainable coaching programs to instill disciplinary values.

Abstract

Teenagers, who should be the golden generation by increasing their knowledge and trying various things, have now become trapped in a superficial consumption of trends, sacrificing their potential for growth. This study aims to examine teenagers' perceptions of modern trends that contradict religious values in Yogyakarta. This research employs a qualitative approach using interviews and documentation techniques. The interview technique is used to gather accurate information from reliable informants, while documentation is employed to obtain data, knowledge, and accurate evidence. The findings indicated that today's teenagers are easily drawn into modern trends that contradict religious values. The main challenge faced by teenagers is the pressure to either follow trends or stay true to their beliefs, which can lead to disturbances in their mental or psychological health. However, this study also finds that some teenagers still firmly uphold and strengthen their faith, making them less susceptible to modern trends that conflict with Islamic religious values. Here, the role of Islam is significantly influential in shaping the character and morals of teenagers in this challenging era of globalization.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Islamic religious education of children within Javanese families in Krajan Hamlet, Jogorogo District, Ngawi Regency, East Java, Indonesia. This study employed an ethno phenomenological approach. It focuses on the ethnographer's work model using a phenomenological approach to deeply understand cultural and religious experiences. The data collection techniques used were in depth interviews, participant observation, literature study, documentation, and active listening, all of which contributed to obtaining rich and comprehensive data. The findings reveal that Javanese families uphold the cultural philosophy of narima ing pandhum—an attitude of accepting destiny with sincerity and gratitude—as a foundational moral principle, aiming to prevent negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. The core educational content centers on ‘Aqidah (creed), Ibadah (worship), and Akhlaq (morality), taught through habituation, advice, and role modeling by parents and elders. Furthermore, the study highlights how Javanese identity is shaped from early childhood by cultivating communal values such as mutual assistance, empathy, generosity, and simplicity, which are consistently reinforced and passed down across generations.

Abstract

Masa Remaja anak-anak mengalami ketegangan emosi yang meninggi  disebabkan oleh tekanan sosial. Tanda-tanda emosional ini berupa rasa kecewa, marah, khawatir, bangga, malu, cinta, benci, harapan serta rasa putus asa. Jika remaja memiliki tekanan pikiran yang tinggi merasa tidak mampu dalam menyelesaikan masalah.Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kecerdasan emosi, derajat depresi dan mengetahui adanya  hubungan antara kecerdasan emosi dengan derajat depresi pada remaja putri yang  diasramakan dipondok pesantren. Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik  dengan pendekatan cross sectional menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan  metode Uji korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 106 santri. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simpel random sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji koreasi dengan menggunakan program  SPSS Statistics 22 untuk melihat hasil hubungan antaran kecerdasan emosi (EQ)  dengan derajat depresi pada santri kelas XI dan XII madrasah aliyah pesantren tahfidz Quran terpadu al-hikmah cirebon. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa  (1) tingkat Kecerdasan emosional santri Madrasah Aliyah Al-Hikmah kategori XI  dan XII berada pada tingkat sedang (2) Distribusi tingkat depresi santri kelas XI  dan kelas XII MA Al-Hikmah bervariasi yaitu depresi normal, depresi ringan,  depresi sedang dan depresi berat (3) Hipotesis diterima bahwa ada hubungan negatif antara (EQ) dengan derajat depresi pada siswi Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Tahfidz Quran. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji korelasi dengan nilai Sig. 0,000 > 0,05 dan  nilai koefisien korelasi (r) -0,621 Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin rendah  nilai kecerdasan emosi (EQ) maka derajat depresi semakin tinggi, dan sebaliknya  semakin tinggi nilai kecerdasan emosi (EQ) maka derajat depresi semakin rendah.

Abstract

Stress has an impact on uncontrolled negative emotions, which can cause individuals to engage in counterproductive behaviors such as self-harm. Self-harm is someone's act of hurting or even injuring themselves. Self-harm is a self-destructive behavior that individuals engage in to cope with emotional pain. Teenagers experience this condition more often than anyone else. Female students often encounter adolescents with similar conditions. This paper aims to determine the forms of self-harm behavior among teenage female students at boarding schools in Central Java. This study employs a qualitative research methodology with a phenomenological approach. The main subjects were three female students aged 18–21 who had engaged in self-harm behavior for at least five days or more and had been doing so for several years, as well as three supporting subjects. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation, and documentation. According to the research results, all subjects tend to self-harm when they feel pressure or have problems. Other significant research further confirms this. Adolescent female students who commit self-harm find comfort in themselves. External relationships do not provide such comfort. In research subjects, the symptoms of self-harm behavior are described as physical symptoms, psychological symptoms, and social phenomena. Meanwhile, factors that influence teenage female students to commit self-harm include genetic factors, biological factors, environmental factors, and psychological factors.

Abstract

A family is the first place that impacts various elements of children's growth and development, especially their social growth. Procedures and conditions in the family are suitable environments for social children. Purposing to analyze the role of Muslim parents of the Minahasa Tribe in Tomohon, Manado, Indonesia, in educating children's morals in Islamic minority communities with a local cultural approach, this research uses phenomenological study methods with a qualitative approach. Researchers found that local culture-based moral education in the formation of children's character/morals in Tomohon became one of the concerns of more than the government and even the community and parents to be able to maintain and preserve a valuable character education process from ancient times so that the current generation can understand the value of manners, mutual respect, respect for parents is critical to forming attitudes and moral. Moral education based on local cultural values in the formation of children's character/morals in Tomohon has a very drastic value from parents past and present to educate their children. It makes children open to each other; they consider their parents as friends when discussing problems in the family.
