Abstract

Keberadaan Posyandu Teratai di RW 21, desa Ciwidey, Kabupaten Bandung sangat diperlukan warga desa karena terletak strategis di tengah pemukiman warga dan akses jalan yang mudah dicapai dari perumahan warga desa Ciwidey. Oleh sebab itu fungsi Posyandu dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sebagai ruang multi fungsi yang berperan ganda seperti timbang bayi, pemeriksaan kesehatan ibu dan anak, kegiatan untuk remaja, dan kegiatan warga desa. Permasalahan pengabdian ini bagian dinding luar Posyandu belum dimanfaatkan sebagai dinding yang mengedukasi bagi publik. Hal inilah yang menjadikan Kepala Desa berinisiatif untuk memanfaatkannya, dengan menambahkan mural yang dapat mengedukasi warga desa. Tujuannya untuk menciptakan dinding yang mengedukasi dan menjadi area spot yang menarik perhatian diantara lingkungan hijau desa Ciwidey. Metode yang dipergunakan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) dan angket, hal ini untuk mengetahui manfaat mural bagi kesehatan masyarakat. Hasilnya mural dibuat mengelilingi dinding posyandu dengan gaya dekoratif dan warna yang mencolok agar terlihat eye catching di antara lingkungan hijau. Simpulannya, Posyandu di kawasan desa Ciwidey menjadi point of interest diantara lingkungan hijau, dan menjadi area spot yang menyenangkan bagi warga.

Abstract

Guru-guru TK dan SD di bawah naungan Yayasan Agape Makedonia mengalami kesulitan dalam mempersiapkan bahan ajar yang baik bagi siswa-siswanya, sehingga diperlukan banyak waktu dan seringkali tidak keburu. Solusi atas masalah tersebut diberikan oleh Prodi Teknik Elektro – Universitas Kristen Maranatha, melalui program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dengan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) berupa workshop/pelatihan penggunaan kecerdasan buatan untuk membuat bahan ajar dalam 2 sesi. Sebanyak 82% peserta menilai baik & sangat baik terhadap pengajar (instruktur) dalam menyampaikan materi, 88% peserta menilai baik & sangat baik terhadap materi yang diberikan. Terkait fasilitas komputer yang disediakan 81% peserta menilai baik & sangat baik, sedangkan untuk waktu yang disediakan dinilai sudah & sangat cukup oleh 82% peserta. Demikian pula dengan pelayanan panitia dan konsumsi, masing-masing dinilai baik dan sangat baik oleh 88% dan 82% peserta. Dengan demikian secara umum penyelenggaraan pelatihan ini dinilai baik dan sangat baik oleh mayoritas peserta, meskipun demikian penelusuran terhadap hal-hal yang perlu diperbaiki, tetap dilakukan guna meningkatkan kualitas penyelenggaraan di kesempatan berikutnya.

Abstract

Tidur sangat penting bagi kesehatan fisik dan mental. Gangguan tidur banyak dijumpai pada masyarakat masa kini. Penatalaksanaan gangguan tidur dengan obat-obatan memiliki masalah terkait efek samping. Salah satu terapi komplementer yang banyak dilaporkan adalah dengan aromaterapi. Minyak esensial pala (Myristica fragrans) mengandung senyawa aktif yang berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas tidur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas aromaterapi pala dalam menginduksi tidur, dinilai berdasarkan gelombang elektroensefalografi. Parameter yang diukur adalah latensi tidur, durasi tidur stadium I, durasi tidur stadium II, durasi tidur keseluruhan, efisiensi tidur, dan durasi wake after sleep onset. Metode penelitian adalah kuasi-eksperimental dengan desain pre-test dan post-test dilakukan pada delapan subjek penelitian dewasa. Aromaterapi diberikan dengan cara inhalasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji t berpasangan pada tingkat signifikasi 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan sangat signifikan antara pre-test dan post-test pada parameter latensi tidur, durasi tidur keseluruhan, dan efisiensi tidur (p<0,001). Sebagai kesimpulan, pemberian aromaterapi pala efektif meningkatkan kualitas tidur dengan cara mempersingkat latensi tidur, meningkatkan durasi tidur, dan meningkatkan efisiensi tidur.

Abstract

Indonesia is dominated by cities that have a history of batik, but Purwakarta does not have a history of batik. But thanks to the persistence of policy holders, Purwakarta currently has batik obtained by elevating the local wisdom of the city of Purwakarta. After surveys and interviews, several batik motifs were designed. The batik motif shape, size and position will be studied which will formulate mathematical equations based on basic geometric shapes such as circles, arches, lines, rectangles, which are implemented into the form of computer graphics (turtles) graph and explained in the form of an algorithm (pseudocode) computer programming to make autogenerative motifs on Purwakarta batik that did not exist before. Batik design is inspired by food and tourist locations which form the basis of the formation of typical Purwakarta batik motifs. Jatiluhur Dam, Datura Metel L. Flower, Sate Maranggi, Mangosteen Fruit is a local wisdom owned by the city of Purwakarta. The results of the morning glory batik design and Jatiluhur dew through mathematical and turtle charts are then formulated so that the batik motif design can be saved by documenting the mathematical equation or the pseudocode of the batik motif. With the results of digital motifs, the process of repeating patterns, duplicating and storing data becomes easier.

Abstract

In this world, the shapes of objects, including Batik motifs in Indonesia, are regular and irregular. One of the regular Batik motifs is Surya Kawung Batik from Mojokerto. The purpose of this research is to observe the ability of the Electrical Engineering Department students in Maranatha Christian University to study and reconstruct the geometric shapes of Surya Kawung Batik. In the making of the Batik motifs, the research methods employed are survey, observation, exploration, testing, and improvement, while in the learning process, the method applied is descriptive qualitative, in which the researchers check the data credibility. Turtle graphics algorithm and mathematical calculations are used to form Batik geometric motifs. The result of this research shows an increase in the students' ability to learn the geometric shapes and to reconstruct digital Batik motifs which resemble the original Batik motifs and which can be stored using a smaller memory. If the memory for storing motifs is small, the required storage space will be more efficient.

Abstract

West Java has a centre for craftsmen who have a variety of motifs drawn from their regional potential. One of them is Ciamis batik, but now with the pandemic of the Corona 19 virus, it has had a tremendous impact on the macro and micro industrial economy in the development of the batik business. More and more are stopping their business. So it is feared that Ciamis batik motifs are increasingly rare in the market. Through Turtle graphics, existing batik motifs are made in the form of vector images to be preserved by utilizing digital technology. This research has the aim to that the Ciamis batik motif can be made into a visual language through the digitalization process using the MuPAD programming language. The benefit is to document and reintroduce Ciamis Batik motifs that are almost extinct. The method used is a digitalization experiment through the Lindenmayer System. Ciamis batik samples selected motifs that have repetition in the form of a repeating pattern. Based on the research, the Ciamis batik motif can be made using the technique of arches, horizontal lines, vertical lines, and rotation. The conclusion of this research is that batik motif design can use the Lindenmayer System program as a blueprint and can be implemented on Indonesian batik.  This research contributes to the efficient documentation of batik motifs in digital form with good quality so that they can be implemented in the creative industry.

Abstract

Abstract:  As artificial intelligence technology advances, teachers must become more proficient in addressing existing issues. Therefore, the goal of this program is to increase teachers' ability to meet the opportunities and challenges presented by the artificial intelligence-based learning era. As technology advances quickly, educators must become more creative, adaptable, and digitally literate, particularly when it comes to incorporating AI into the classroom. Kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high schools in the cities of Jakarta, Surabaya, Pekanbaru, and Jambi are overseen by the Pancaran Metta Paramita PKBM Foundation Guang Ming. Teachers at Guang Ming's school served as training participants in the creation of learning resources, the creation of questions, and the analysis of student work. The activity was carried out through the use of Participatory Action Research (PAR), in which participants received instruction and helpers to aid in their learning as they practiced. According to questionnaire results, participants felt that the PKM's content was in line with their needs, that the implementation period was excellent, that the speakers' content was excellent, that the participants understood the material, and that the PKM activity space was sufficient, receiving a very good rating of between 71.4% and 90.5%.Abstrak: Seiring kemajuan teknologi kecerdasan buatan, guru harus menjadi lebih mahir dalam mengatasi masalah yang ada. Oleh karena itu, tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru untuk memenuhi peluang dan tantangan yang disajikan oleh era pembelajaran berbasis kecerdasan buatan. Seiring kemajuan teknologi dengan cepat, para pendidik harus menjadi lebih kreatif, mudah beradaptasi, dan melek secara digital, terutama ketika datang untuk memasukkan AI ke dalam kelas. TK, SD, SMP, dan SMU di Kota Jakarta, Surabaya, Pekanbaru, dan Jambi diawasi oleh Yayasan Pancaran Metta Paramita PKBM Guang Ming. Guru di Sekolah Guang Ming menjabat sebagai peserta pelatihan dalam penciptaan sumber belajar, penciptaan pertanyaan, dan analisis pekerjaan siswa. Metode yang digunakan Participatory Action Research (PAR), di mana peserta menerima instruksi dan pembantu untuk membantu dalam pembelajaran mereka saat mereka berlatih. Menurut hasil kuesioner, peserta merasa bahwa konten PKM sejalan dengan kebutuhan mereka, bahwa periode implementasi sangat baik, bahwa konten pembicara sangat baik, bahwa para peserta memahami materi tersebut, dan bahwa ruang aktivitas PKM sudah cukup, menerima peringkat yang sangat baik antara 71,4% dan 90,5%.

Abstract

Residents of RT 5, RW 3, Jatiendah Village, mostly earn as construction workers, open stalls, and sell food. The women in Jatiendah Village, who are primarily housewives dependent on their husband's income, they want to sell food. Limited income and small business capital make it difficult for them to rent a place to sell. High rental costs create an imbalance between income and expenses, ultimately causing their capital to dwindle as they incur losses. The problem that occurs is their inability to create video content to promote their sales. The purpose of this activity is to provide training for the women of Jatiendah Village on how to create video content using the CapCut application. The method used is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) which develops the ability to make videos. As a result, the women were very enthusiastic about learning the new things. The conclusion of this activity is that Jatiendah villagers benefit from knowledge after being given training in video making and video editing with Capcut. Abstrak— Warga RT 5, RW 3, Desa Jatiendah, sebagian besar berpenghasilan sebagai pekerja bangunan, membuka warung, dan menjual makanan. Untuk ibu-ibu warga desa Jatiendah yang kebanyakan ibu rumah tangga dan bergantung pada penghasilan suaminya, membuat mereka ingin berjualan makanan. Penghasilan yang terbatas dan modal usaha yang kecil membuat mereka kesulitan untuk menyewa tempat berjualan. Sewa tempat yang mahal membuat pemasukan dan pengeluaran menjadi tidak seimbang. Akhirnya modal habis karena mereka merugi. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah ketidak mampuan mereka untuk membuat konten video untuk mempromosikan jualannya. Tujuan kegiatan di sini adalah memberi pelatihan kepada ibu-ibu warga desa Jatiendah untuk membuat konten video dengan aplikasi Capcut. Metode yang digunakan adalah Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) yang mengembangkan kemampuan membuat video. Hasilnya ibu-ibu sangat antusias belajar hal baru yang mereka dapatkan. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini warga desa Jatiendah mendapat manfaat pengetahuan setelah diberi pelatihan pembuatan video dan editing video dengan Capcut.

Abstract

The development of the world of education that increasingly prioritizes asynchronous learning encourages more platforms and applications to be launched online learning by combining knowledge and skills. However, there are still obstacles when students/teachers first try to use the application/platform self-taught. In order to bridge this gap, the UKM TE Study Program held a service by providing simulation and coding workshops on electrical circuits with the TinkerCAD Circuit web-based application for students and teachers in junior high schools. The main purpose of this PkM is to be a motivation and basis for participants to learn electrical circuits, and it can even be used as an online learning option in schools.

Abstract

The problem is how students can learn independently when no assistant teachers are present. The main objective of this research is to build an application system that can recognize the stances in Ibing Penca martial art. This research aims to help facilitate independent learning for martial arts practitioners, especially Ibing Penca, by developing a system that is able to recognize and classify the movements in 62 Ibing Penca stances. To achieve these goals, the research method used is to collect input data in the form of images or videos taken using an Orbbec camera. After the images are obtained, the next stage is data processing to detect important points on the body using landmark detection techniques. The next process is the identification of 33 keypoints on the body using the MediaPipe algorithm. From these keypoints, six important angles were calculated which included the right arm, left arm, right leg, left leg, right foot and left foot. This angle calculation is done using the angle method of the three relevant key points. The system is able to recognize the movements in Ibing Penca with a high degree of accuracy, which is very useful for learners who want to practice independently. The results of this study show that the system is able to classify 62 Ibing Penca moves with a success rate of 95.2% (58 moves), while the error rate is only 4.8% (4 moves). For future research, it is expected to develop this system by adding variations of movements and improving detection accuracy in more diverse environmental conditions.
