Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak penggunaan zat adiktif pada kalangan anak di bawah umur di kecamatan Tanjung Pura dan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab anak di bawah umur menghisap zat adiktif di Kecamatan Tanjung Pura Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Tanjung Pura selama tiga bulan. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu anak-anak di bawah umur yang berada di lingkungan Kecamatan Tanjung Pura. Sampel penelitian yakni sebagaian anak –anak yang memakai zat adiktif dan dipilih menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan mengacu kepada teori Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dampak pemakaian zat adiktif (lem kambing) antara lain pengguna melakukan kebut-kebutan saat mengendarai sepeda motor, bolos sekolah, menggunakan kata-kata kasar terhadap orang yang lebuh tua, dan membuat keributan di lingkungan. Adapun faktor penyebab anak-anak memakai zat adiktif (lem kambing) antara lain ketidaktahuan mereka mengenai bahaya zat adiktif (lem kambing), teman bergaul, keinginan mencoba hal baru, faktor lingkungan bergaul dan kemudahan membeli zat adiktif (lem kambing). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut disimpulkan bahwa anaka-anak pengguna zat adiktif (lem kambing) di Kecamatan Tanjung Pura menjadi salah satu penyebab terjadinya beberapa situasi yang kurang kondusif di Kecamatan Tanjung Pura.Lem Kambing, Zat Adiktif, Kenakalan Anak.

Abstract

Education Inequality In Remote Areas Is Still A Problem That Hinders The Equitable Distribution Of The Quality Of Education In Indonesia. One Of The Main Factors Is The Low Welfare Of Teachers Which Has A Direct Impact On Their Motivation And Performance. This Study Aims To Examine The Impact Of Teacher Welfare In An Effort To Overcome Educational Inequality In Remote Areas. The Method Used Is Qualitative With A Literature Study Approach, By Analyzing Various Literature And Previous Research Results. The Results Of The Study Show That The Welfare Of Teachers, Which Includes Economic Aspects, Facilities, And Social Support, Affects The Quality Of Learning. Improving Teachers' Welfare Is Able To Increase The Seriousness And Success Of Teaching, Which Ultimately Contributes To Reducing Educational Inequality. The Policy Of Improving Teacher Welfare Needs To Be A Priority In The Equitable Distribution Of National Education.

Abstract

This research is research and development. This study uses the Four D development model. The stages in the Four D development model are definition, design, development, and dissemination. However, in this study, the stages used were only up to the development stage. The subjects of this study were students of class II MIN 15 Langkat, totaling 24 people with details of 13 males and 11 females. The object of research is digital-based flashcard media. This study aims to develop digital-based flashcard media. The data collection instruments were interviews, observations, questionnaire validation, and student responses. From the results of the validation carried out by media experts, material experts, and linguists it was declared feasible.

Abstract

Boraks merupakan sebuah bahan tambahan umum dalam pengawet makanan, memiliki potensi bahaya bagi kesehatan manusia dan sekarang dilarang penggunaannya oleh pemerintah. Meskipun demikian, masih ada banyak produk makanan yang mengandung boraks yang beredar dan dikonsumsi. Formaldehida, juga dikenal sebagai formalin, adalah zat kimia berbahaya yang secara tegas dilarang untuk digunakan dalam bahan makanan. Meskipun demikian, formalin tetap digunakan dalam produksi kecap untuk memperpanjang umur simpan makanan dan mencegah kerusakan. Formalin adalah zat kimia berbahaya yang tidak boleh digunakan dalam produksi makanan, namun masih banyak produsen makanan seperti bakso, nugget, sosis, batagor, tempe, tahu putih, tahu kuning, mie basah, mie lidi, mie tiau, ikan asin, ikan teri, belacan, udang kecepe, kerupuk PF, kerupuk udang, dan kerupuk merah yang menggunakan zat ini. Penggunaan formalin dalam pembuatan makanan dimaksudkan untuk memperpanjang umur simpan dan mencegah kerusakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 4 sampel positif mengandung formalin dan 5 sampel positif mengandung boraks. Studi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat agar lebih berhati-hati dalam memilih makanan berdasarkan kualitas gizi dan kebersihannya. Selain itu, masyarakat dapat menggunakan ekstrak kulit buah naga dan ekstrak kunyit sebagai alat pendeteksi informalin dan boraks dalam makanan sehari-hari Kata Kunci :Boraks; Formalin;Keamanan Pangan; Deteksi Alami; Edukasi Konsumen.

Abstract

The development of digital technology in education requires teachers to be competent in designing effective electronic-based assessments that meet student needs. One important form of initial assessment in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum is diagnostic e-assessment, which serves to identify students' initial abilities, knowledge gaps, and learning characteristics. This community service activity aims to improve teachers' competency in developing diagnostic e-assessments through outreach and training at Elementary School 064014 Medan. The implementation method included preparation, outreach, demonstrations of electronic-based diagnostic test preparation, and hands-on practical assistance. The results of the activity indicate an increase in teachers' understanding and skills in designing and implementing diagnostic e-assessments in their respective classrooms. This activity contributes to improving the quality of learning assessments and supports the optimal implementation of the Independent Curriculum in elementary schools.

Abstract

The development of social skills is a crucial demand in 21st-century higher education, particularly for pre-service teacher students. This study aims to examine the role of sociology learning in the development of social skills among students of the Social Studies Education Program at STKIP Al Maksum involving 15 students in the qualitative phase (in-depth interviews) and 60 students in the quantitative phase (instrument trial)." . The study employed an exploratory sequential mixed methods design, with a qualitative approach as the primary phase and a quantitative approach as a supportive phase. Qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, while quantitative data were obtained through a questionnaire developed based on the qualitative findings and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings indicate that sociology learning contributes significantly to the enhancement of students' social skills, particularly in interpersonal communication, social awareness, cooperation, and social responsibility. Social change: Previously passive students became more confident in expressing their opinions in group discussions. Conflict Reduction: A decrease in the frequency of interruptions between students when working on assignments together. Empathy: The emergence of an attitude of mutual assistance (peer tutoring) observed through in-depth observation. The results of the study showed a significant increase in social skills, as seen from the N-Gain score of 0.75 (High Category). Qualitatively, this was confirmed by an increase in the intensity of collaboration and students' conflict resolution abilities during the learning process in the classroom.
