Abstract

This research was motivated by the findings of the researcher during observations and interviews at the 10th grade of MAN 3 Agam. Researcher found that students often used pause fillers such as "hmm" and "eee", and had low vocabulary mastery that hindered fluency in speaking. They also had difficulty expressing ideas and opinions, so the speed and tempo of speaking were affected. The study aimed to determine the effect of gossiping group activities on students' speaking fluency. The study used a type of experimental research, namely a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study was selected using a random technique and the selected class was XE.2 class as the control class and XE.4 class as the experimental class. Instruments in the form of oral speaking tests that had been validated with content validity and assessed with inter-rater reliability. Data analysis included prerequisite tests for normality and homogeneity, and utilized Paired sample t-Tests and Independent sample t-Tests to test hypotheses. From the results of data analysis, it was concluded that gossiping group activities had a significant effect on improving students' speaking fluency.

Abstract

The soil moisture sensor provides numerical measurements to detect changes in soil moisture using an analog voltage output. This research aims to develop a capacitive sensor based on a statistical model to detect soil moisture for plant watering, leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT). The analysis was conducted using polynomial and linear regression models. The modeling process was based on primary gravimetric test results from dried soil. The best model coefficients, selected based on the highest adjusted R-squared value, were used for sensor recalibration. A watering system was then developed using an Arduino and a model-driven capacitive soil moisture sensor integrated into an internet-connected smart plant pot, enabling remote control via a mobile phone. The research findings indicate that the 8th-order polynomial model, with the highest adjusted R-squared value of 0.9583, is the most accurate. The smart watering system using the model-driven capacitive sensor achieved soil moisture prediction outcomes ranging from 0.08 to 1.01 for 150 to 418 sensor data points. The internet-connected smart plant pot allows precise and real-time control, delivering notifications and enabling actions when plants require watering.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca permulaan berkaitan dengan siswa mampu mengenal huruf, yaitu mengenal lambang-lambang yang terdapat dalam tulisan serta mampu membunyikan lambang tersebut dengan tepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengkaji kemampuan membaca siswa kelas II di SDN 1 Gelogor, dengan fokus pada evaluasi tingkat keterampilan membaca awal serta identifikasi kesulitan yang dihadapi dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, yang memungkinkan gambaran mendalam mengenai kemampuan membaca siswa. Dari 25 siswa di kelas II A, hasil menunjukkan bahwa 23 siswa (92%) memiliki kemampuan membaca yang sangat baik, sementara 2 siswa (8%) masih berada pada kriteria kurang baik. Meskipun demikian, siswa mengalami kebingungan dalam mengenali beberapa huruf, seperti q, z, v, dan x, serta kesulitan dalam membedakan huruf ‘q’ dengan ‘p’, dan ‘b’ dengan ‘d’. Selain itu, mereka juga kesulitan membedakan bunyi huruf ‘j’ dan ‘c’, ‘v’ dan ‘f’ serta ‘q’ dan ‘k’. Tantangan lain muncul dalam membaca kata-kata yang memiliki double konsonan dan double vokal, terutama pada kata-kata yang tidak memiliki makna, seperti kata “nump, loang, manum, halet dan ulal”. Pada indikator membaca kalimat sederhana banyak siswa menjawab tidak berdasarkan kemampuan membaca yang mereka miliki. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan membaca permulaansiswa kelas II A di SDN 1 Gelogor sangat baik.

Abstract

Asfiksia merupakan suatu keadaan pada bayi baru lahir yang mengalami gagal bernafas secara spontan dan teratur segera setelah lahir, sehingga bayi tidak dapat memasukkan oksigen dan tidak dapat mengeluarkan zat asam arang dari tubuhnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh usia, paritas, pengetahuan dan riwayat anemia terhadap kejadian asfikisa neonatorum pada bayi aterm Di RSUD Andi Makassau. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional, sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh ibu yang sudah melahirkan di Rumah Sakit Andi Makkasau Kota Parepare sebanyak 20 bayi. Tehnik pengambilan sampel adalah menggunakan total sampling, Dengan menggunakan Uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usia berpengaruh terhadap kejadian asfiksia (P = 0.003), Tingkat Pengetahuan (P = 0.000), Paritas (P = 0.000), Anemia (P = 0.000) Terhadap Kejadian Asfiksia Pada Bayi Aterm di RSUD Andi Makkasau Kota Parepare. Disarankan kepada pemerintah agar melakukan upaya untuk meminimalisisr kejadian asfiksia sedang hinga berat pada bayi dengan cara melakukan sosialisasi kepada ibu hamil tentang pencegahan yang bisa dilakukan agar terhindar dari asfiksia berat hingga normal.

Abstract

Online applications are something that currently cannot be separated from people's lives, especially urban communities. The opportunity to utilize online applications is also applied in food sales based on the use of online applications, especially for sellers in the category of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Activities that utilize online applications are called Electronic Commerce (E-Commerce) where physical contact is not required between sellers and buyers. Online applications are one of the things that can support economic progress, but the use of online applications for sales is still limited depending on the area, areas with poor internet conditions usually rarely use online applications for sales. The purpose of this study was to determine how much the marketing of fishery products (Pecel lele) using online applications along the Jatinangor highway which is an area with a high percentage of students and high potential for internet use. The conclusion of this study shows that most of the pecel lele stalls along Jalan Raya Jatinangor have used online applications for sales and fifty percent of pecel lele stalls stated that turnover from using online applications tends to be higher than conventional sales. The conclusion of this study is that in 12 catfish pecel stalls located along the Jatinangor highway, 75% of all stalls have online applications for sales and 25% do not have online applications for sales. In the turnover obtained, 6 out of 12 catfish pecel stalls get higher turnover profits, 3 out of 12 catfish pecel stalls have decreasing turnover profits, the remaining 3 stalls that do not use online applications do not experience changes in turnover profits, namely sales do not increase or decrease.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of internal audit in risk management, fraud prevention, and the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles in various organizations. This research employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to analyze relevant studies concerning the role of internal audit in these contexts. The analysis results indicate that internal audit plays a crucial role in ensuring effective risk management, fraud detection and prevention, and strengthening corporate governance. Internal audit functions to identify and manage various types of risks, including financial, operational, and reputational risks, as well as enhancing transparency in risk management disclosures. Furthermore, internal audit has proven effective in preventing fraud through the implementation of stringent internal controls. This study concludes that internal audit significantly contributes to the success and sustainability of organizations, serving as the frontline in maintaining organizational integrity and strengthening the application of GCG principles. Therefore, internal audit plays a strategic role in enhancing overall company performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menetahui seberapa pengaruhnya Kemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi dan Kualitas Kehidupan Kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan keterlibatan karyawan sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Dengan jumlah 100 responden. Adapun responden yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah Karyawan PT Swabina Gatra. salah satu perusahaan dikota. Teknik pengumpulan data meggunakan google form yang disebar melalui sosial media whatsapp. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah adanya hubungan yang berpengaruh antara Kemanfaatan Teknologi informasi dan kualitas kehidupan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan variabel mediasi keterlibatan karyawan.Abstrak ditulis secara ringkas dan faktual, meliputi tujuan penelitian, metode penelitian, hasil dan simpulan.

Abstract

Discrete mathematics learning is an important part of higher education, especially in the context of computer science and information technology. Several studies have shown that many students face difficulties in solving complex mathematical problems, which constitute a significant challenge in the learning process. Therefore, it is important to apply a comprehensive learning approach and pay attention to student needs, because this can help overcome weaknesses related to understanding discrete mathematics and improve interest or motivation. The results of this research highlight the potential of the Discovery Learning model as an effective approach in improving discrete mathematics learning. The practical implication of this research is that integrating the Discovery Learning model in discrete mathematics learning design can increase student engagement and their academic achievement. Thus, future studies could further explore the long-term impact of implementing this model or compare it with the use of other learning approaches.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of islamic religious education teachers in improving the morals of students at satap lambuya middle school, konawe regency, southeast sulawesi province with the main problems being (1) How is the learning of Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving the morals of students at Satap Lambuya Junior High School, Konawe regency, southeast sulawesi province? (2) How to improve the morals of students at SMP Satap Lambuya, Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province? (3) What is the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving the morals of students at SMP Satap Lambuya, Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province? This type of research is qualitative. The location of this research is students at satap lambuya middle school, konawe regency, southeast sulawesi. The approach used is an ethnomethodological study, with data collection methods, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The data that has been collected is then analyzed in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and data verification. The results of the research show that Islamic religious education teachers should not only make all educational plans listed in the curriculum and learning units as the only estuary in achieving educational goals, learners are always a problem and as a focus of attention, a teacher is needed who can direct the behavior of students to achieve their learning goals, and In order to implement the Islamic Religious Education Teacher Program which has been mandated in the Vision and Mission, the role of activities carried out by Islamic religious teachers to be pioneers in implementing the moral values of students must be programmed properly and must be implemented optimally.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan keterampilan esensial dalam pendidikan abad ke-21 yang harus dikembangkan sejak dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri yang dipadukan dengan media flash card berbasis augmented reality (AR) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (quasi-experimental) dengan desain pretest-posttest control group, melibatkan dua kelas IV di SDN Galang Bulan. Satu kelas sebagai kelompok eksperimen menggunakan model inkuiri dan media flash card AR, sedangkan kelompok kontrol menggunakan metode konvensional. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan ANOVA dengan bantuan SPSS versi 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari penggunaan model inkuiri berbantuan AR terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa (p = 0,008 < 0,05). Temuan ini merekomendasikan integrasi teknologi berbasis AR dengan pendekatan pembelajaran aktif sebagai strategi inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang mendalam, interaktif, dan relevan.
