Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, aktivitas dan hasil menulis wacana narasi menggunakan teknik brainwriting. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan 3 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa dan guru SMK Negeri 5 Singkawang Utara Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016, dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 28 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa teknik brainwriting dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran khususnya perencanaan, pelaksanaan, aktivitas dan kemampuan menulis siswa. Hal itu terlihat dari data yang didapatkan yakni perencanaan siklus I sebesar 76,66% (baik), siklus II sebesar 83,33% (sangat baik), dan siklus III sebesar 86,66% (sangat baik). Pelaksanaan pada siklus I sebesar 61% (cukup baik), siklus II 77% (baik), dan siklus III 90% (sangat baik). Rata-rata hasil belajar juga mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I sebesar 51,56, siklus 58,71, dan siklus III 75,22. Aktivitas siswa juga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 27,21 pada siklus I, pada siklus II sebesar 28,25, dan pada siklus III sebesar 29,89.   Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Menulis Wacana Narasi, Teknik Brainwriting. Abstract: The purpose of this study was to describe the planning, implementation, activities, and results of using the technique of writing narrative discourse brainwriting. This research method is qualitative  with the form of classroom action research. This study was conducted 3 cycles. The subjects were students and teachers of SMK Negeri 5 North Singkawang in the school year 2015/2016 , the number of students by 28 students. Based on the results of the study concluded that brainwriting technique can improve the quality of the learning process, especially planning, implementation, activities and students' writing. This is evident from the data obtained in the planning of the first cycle of 76.66 % (good), the second cycle of 83.33 % (excellent), and the third cycle of 86.66 % (excellent). Implementation of the first cycle of 61% (pretty good) , the second cycle 77 % (good), and the third cycle of 90 % (excellent). The average learning outcomes also increased in the first cycle of 51.56 , 58.71 cycle, and the cycle III 75.22. Activities of students also increased by 27.21 in the first cycle, the second cycle of 28.25, and the third cycle of 29.89. Keywords : Discourse Narrative Writing Skills, Techniques Brainwriting.

Abstract

This research is based on an understanding of the importance of having a positive influence by the students in online learning activities in terms of a Covid 19 pandemic. However, in fact, there are still many students who have behaviors that reflect the low level of student involvement in online learning. This study aims to determine the influence of virtual engagement and student perceptions in online learning. Respondents in this study were cadets of TLB 8 and 8 alpha cadets at the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the provision of virtual engagement in the online teaching and learning process is very influential, that is, it can help students in the online teaching and learning process where student engagement needs are met from external factors (structure, autonomy support, and involvement) and internal factors (need for relatedness, need for competence, and need for autonomy). The perception of the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic cadets regarding virtual engagement in the online teaching and learning process in this pandemic era is very helpful, enjoyable, increases motivation, and trains discipline

Abstract

This research is based on an understanding related to the development of English learning methods that are in line with the demands of the community's needs for English. Apart from the different needs of learners, the needs of the institutions that shelter them are also different. This makes ESP in universities different so that need analysis is very characteristic of the teaching materials used by the ESP program. This study aims to identify the learning needs of students' English related to the four basic English skills, and to know the types of learning methods and teaching materials that students want and need. Respondents in this study were TPPU II Alpha and Bravo cadets at the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the learning needs of students' English related to the four basic skills of English to reach the functional and informational levels are facility (material and practice), and motivation. The types of learning methods and teaching materials that students want and need are CLT Method, and Hybrid Learning.

Abstract

Traditional theater Mendu has become the identity of the West Kalimantan Malay community because in the Mendu performance various Malay elements are preserved such as customs, oral traditions, oral literature, regional languages, traditional clothing, regional dances, Malay pencak silat and other values. These values are local wisdom that can be a pillar in maintaining traditional theater Mendu. This research aims to describe the local wisdom values contained in the traditional theater Mendu of West Kalimantan. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method with an ethnographic approach. The research results show that Mendu has good local wisdom values, that are worth preserving. These values are integrated into a Mendu performance, including: (1) the value of Malay identity, (2) religious values, (3) the value of the tradition of cooperation, (4) the value of preserving regional languages, (5) the value of preserving oral literature, (6) the value of preserving traditional pencak silat, (7) the value of preserving traditional Malay clothing, (8) the value of preserving regional dances, (9) the value of Malay customs, (10) the value of community education, (11) the value of kinship and social solidarity. AbstrakTeater tradisional Mendu menjadi identitas masyarakat Melayu Kalimantan Barat dikarenakan dalam pertunjukan Mendu tersimpan berbagai unsur kemelayuan seperti adat istiadat, tradisi lisan, sastra lisan, bahasa daerah, pakaian adat, tari daerah, pencak silat Melayu, dan nilai-nilai lainnya. Nilai-nilai tersebut merupakan kearifan lokal yang dapat menjadi pilar dalam pemertahanan teater tradisional Mendu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang terdapat dalam teater tradisional Mendu Kalimantan Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatf dengan pendekatan etnografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Mendu memiliki nilai kearifan lokal yang baik, sehingga patut untuk dilestarikan. Nilai-nilai tersebut terintegrasi dalam sebuah pertunjukan Mendu, antara lain: (1) nilai identitas melayu, (2) nilai religi, (3) nilai tradisi gotong royong, (4) nilai pemertahanan bahasa daerah, (5) nilai pelestarian sastra lisan, (6) nilai pelestarian pencak silat tradisional, (7) nilai pelestarian pakaian adat melayu, (8) nilai pelestarian tari daerah, (9) nilai adat istiadat Melayu, (10) nilai edukasi masyarakat, (11) nilai kekeluargaan dan kesetiakawanan sosial.

Abstract

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu; (1) mendeskripsikan tingkat kecemasan Guru dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka di sekolah dasar, (2) menganalisis perbedaan kecemasan Guru dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan kelas. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain survei. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah sekolah dasar negeri di Singkawang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Guru sekolah dasar kelas 1 dan kelas 4 yang telah mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka. Sampel yang diambil menggunakan Teknik sampling insidental sehingga jumlah guru yang menjadi sampel adalah 48 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah komunikasi tidak langsung, sedangkan instrument yang digunakan berupa skala likert dengan pilihan sangat sesuai, sesuai, tidak sesuai dan sangat tidak sesuai. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan manova. Hasil penelitian bahwa; (1) tingkat kecamasan guru masuk pada. kategori sedang dengan persentase 87,5%, (2) tidak dapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara Guru laki-laki dan perempuan serta guru yang mengajar di kelas 1 dan 4 terkait kecemasan dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka dengan nilai signifikasi > .05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kecemasan guru dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka berada pada kategori sedang dan cenderung naik pada level tinggi jika tidak dikontrol dengan baik. Kemudian tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terkait implementasi merdeka berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan kelas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar pada mata pelajaran IPAS siswa kelas V SDS Torsina III Singkawang tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif kausal. Sumber data berasal dari hasil angket dan dokumentasi nilai UTS. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas, uji linearitas dan uji regresi linear sederhana menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada indikator ketekunan dalam belajar terdapat nilai sebesar 44. Ulet dalam menghadapi kesulitan dengan nilai 39,11. Minat dan ketajaman perhatian dalam belajar dengan nilai 38,11. Berprestasi dalam belajar dengan nilai 41,16. Dan pada indikator mandiri dalam belajar dengan nilai 50. Selain itu pada hasil uji regresi linear sederhana terdapat pengaruh antara motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar siswa yang dilihat dari nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,176 atau 17,6% yang artinya bahwa besar pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar IPAS siswa kelas V SDS Torsina III Singkawang sebesar 17,6% sementara sisanya 82,4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak ditelititi dalam penelitian ini. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar siswa dengan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS siswa kelas V SDS Torsina III Singkawang.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to 1) find out whether there are differences in narrative writing skills that use the picture and picture model and classes that use the conventional model in narrative writing activities in class V at SDN 13 Singkawang. 2) to find out how much influence the picture and picture learning model has on narrative writing skills in class V Indonesian language learning at SDN 13 Singkawang. The type of research used is quantitative with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all class V students at SDN 13 Singkawang. And the samples for this study were 23 students in the experimental class VA and 24 students in the control class VB. The results of the research show that 1) The t test shows t_count > t_(table), namely 3.2679 > 2.01410, so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the ability to write narratives between the class that uses the picture and picture learning model and the class that uses the conventional model in the narrative writing ability of class V students at SDN 13 Singkawang; 2) test the magnitude of the influence (effect size) of the picture and picture learning model on students' narrative writing skills, the results are influential with the effect size being in the high criteria with a value of 0.813 in the range E_Sd>0.8. The of this research indicate that there is a need for a picture and picture model in learning to improve students' narrative writing skills so that it can have a positive impact on Indonesian language learning skills. Abstract

In the global maritime industry, English proficiency is essential for cadets to perform effectively in international settings. However, English for Specific Purposes (ESP) instruction in maritime education often lacks contextual application. This study explores how the integration of Teaching Factory (TEFA) and micro internships influences cadets’ learning experiences in ESP programs. Drawing on a qualitative case study using narrative inquiry, this research involved 40 cadets from a maritime academy in Surabaya who had completed both micro internship programs. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews, questionnaires, and observations over six weeks, and analyzed thematically. Thematic analysis was employed to identify, analyze, and report patterns (themes) within the data. The Findings of this study showed that TEFA and micro internships provided real-world learning environments where cadets could apply ESP in authentic maritime contexts. Most cadets agreed that the ESP content was relevant to their future work and that these practical experiences improved their confidence and language use. TEFA helped cadets understand industrial communication, while micro internships offered direct exposure to professional situations, enhancing their ability to use English for technical and emergency communication. Additionally, cadets appreciated the industry-based guidance provided by ESP instructors. The study concludes that integrating work-based learning models like TEFA and micro internships with ESP instruction enhances cadets' linguisticompetence, motivation, and job readiness. These findings highlight the need for ESP curricula to be closely aligned with industry demands and call for stronger collaboration between educational institutions and maritime industries. This research contributes to the ongoing development of contextualized and applicable ESP programs in maritime education.
