Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran literasi matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 21 Makassar pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dalam menyelesaikan soal PISA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang menggunakan pendekatan campuran (Mixed Methods Research) yang dirancang untuk mengetahui literasi matematika siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal PISA. Data yang diolah adalah data literasi matematika siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pemberian tes dan wawancara. Soal yang digunakan dalam tes mengukur literasi matematika siswa adalah soal-soal yang diadaptasi dari PISA yang berjumlah 3 soal dan terdiri dari level 1,3 dan 5. Soal-soal ini dikerjakan oleh 30 orang siswa dalam 45 menit. Berdasarkan olahan data, diperoleh bahwa literasi matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 21 Makassar tergolong baik untuk level 1 dan 3, kurang sekali untuk level 5. Adapun kesulitan yang paling dominan dialami siswa adalah kesulitan dalam perhitungan, kesulitan menganalisis soal, dan kesulitan dalam memahami soal cerita.

Abstract

Reading is the most suitable alternative to improve education children's literacy while literacy is the ability to create interpret a meaning through the text. This research aims to know the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS), especially in increasing student interest in reading during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research was a quantitative or experimental research (pre-experimental design). As for the results Inferential statistical analysis was carried out using the t-test formula, it is known that tCount obtained 12.648 with a frequency of df = 25-1 = 24, at a significant level = 0.05 or 5% obtained t table 2.063. So the t-count was 12, 648 2,063 this shows that He is rejected and H is accepted. Based on the results of the study and referring to the hypothesis that the researcher set, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS), especially reading interest at the fifth grade students at Bakung 2 Sudiang Elementary School, Biringkanaya District, Makassar City.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the mathematical representation abilities of students who have high mathematical abilities, moderate mathematical abilities, and low mathematical abilities in solving mathematics problems in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Kuncio Pao. The type of research used is qualitative research. The instruments used were mathematical representation ability tests and interview guidelines. The indicators of mathematical representation ability used in this research are visual indicators, indicators of equations or mathematical expressions and indicators of words or written text. The subjects taken were 3 students, namely 1 subject who had high mathematical abilities, 1 subject who had moderate mathematical abilities, and 1 subject who had low mathematical abilities. The results of the research show that (1) Subjects with high mathematical abilities are able to fulfill all indicators of mathematical representation, namely visual indicators, indicators of equations or mathematical expressions and indicators of words or written text. (2) Subjects with moderate mathematical abilities are only able to fulfill 2 indicators of mathematical representation, namely indicators of equations or mathematical expressions and indicators of words or written text, and are unable to fulfill visual indicators. (3) Subjects with low mathematical abilities are unable to fulfill all indicators of mathematical representation, namely visual indicators, indicators of equations or mathematical expressions and indicators of words or written text.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan metakognisi siswa dalam pemecahan masalah matematika ditinjau dari pola asuh orang tua. Subjek yang dideskripsikan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 siswa yang masing-masing merupakan pola asuh orangtua tipe authoritative, authoritarian, permissive, dan rejecting/neglecting. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pemberian 1 tes pemecahan masalah dan wawancara. Untuk menguji kredibilitas data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber dan waktu. Berdasarkan hasil pemberian tes dan wawancara diperoleh kesimpulan: (1) Keterampilan Metakognisi subjek berpola asuh orangtua tipe authoritative adalah keterampilan perencanaan, keterampilan prediksi, keterampilan monitoring, dan keterampilan evaluasi; (2) Keterampilan Metakognisi subjek berpola asuh orangtua tipe authoritarian dan tipe permissive adalah keterampilan perencanaan, keterampilan prediksi, dan keterampilan monitoring; (3) Keterampilan Metakognisi subjek berpola asuh orangtua tipe permissive adalah keterampilan perencanaan dan keterampilan prediksi.

Abstract

Kecerdasan emosional merupakan salah satu faktor yang ada dalam diri siswa terhadap hasil belajarnya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post facto yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap hasil belajar matematika Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Unismuh Makassar. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh individu yang akan dijadikan objek penelitian. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Unismuh Makassar Kelas VIII. Jumlah populasi adalah 135 siswa. Untuk menetukan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rumus Isaac and Michael, peneliti menentukan tingkat kesalahan 5%, sehingga jumlah sampel dengan populasi 135 adalah 100 sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen-instrumen yaitu tes dan angket. Tes dilakukan untuk memperoleh infomasi tentang hasil belajar matematika siswa dan pengisian angket digunakan untuk mengukur kecerdasan emosional siswa berdasarkan indikator masing-masing variabel tersebut. Dan hasil penelitian ini memperoleh nilai konstan sebesar 25,504, berarti jika nilai kecerdasan emosi siswa adalah 0, maka nilai hasil belajar matematika siswa adalah 25,504. Koefisien regresi untuk variabel kecerdasan emosi adalah 0,614 yang berarti setiap kenaikan 1 unit skor kecerdasan emosional akan diikuti kenaikan hasil belajar 0,614 sehingga diperoleh persamaan regresi sederhana Y = 25,504+0,614X. Untuk menjawab hipotesis dlihat nilai dari thitung variabel kecerdasan emosi sebesar 0,00 menunjukkan H0 diterima yang berarti kecerdasan emosi berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kemudian nilai probabilitas F (F-hitung) sebesar 0,00<0,05 dengan demikian model persamaan regresi linear berdasarkan data penelitian adalah signifikan, artinya model regresi linear memenuhi kriteria linearitas. Dengan kata lain, kecerdasan emosi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

The problem in this research is whether the checkerboard media affects improving mathematics learning outcomes in long unit material for class III UPTD students at SDN 104 Inpres Makkaraeng. This type of research is experimental research. The population in this study were all class III students at UPTD SDN 104 Inpres Makkaraeng. Meanwhile, the researcher used a random sample for sampling, namely class III a with 23 students as the control class and class III b as the experimental class. The data collection techniques used by researchers are 1) Observation, 2) Pre-test and post-test given to students to determine student learning outcomes, and whether the results have improved or not. The results of the study are: In the control class, it can be seen that student learning outcomes have improved. The pretest result of the control class (III a) students was that students got an average score of 48.91. In the posted results of control class students (Class III a), the average data was 73.91 and was included in the category of incomplete KKM. The pretest result of experimental class students (III b) is that students get an average score of 53.21. As for the posted results of control class students (Class III b), the average data was 85.86. So the checkerboard media had an effect in improving the results learn mathematics in length unit material. The hypothesis put forward, namely, that the checkerboard media affects improving mathematics learning outcomes in long unit material for class III UPTD SDN 104 Inpres Makkaraeng, has been proven to be true.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using digital platforms on students' numeracy literacy skills. The research used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The research subjects were grade XI students at PGRI Tamalate High School Makassar, with grade XI.A as the experimental group using the digital platform and XI.B as the control group using conventional methods. Data were collected through PISA standard-based numeracy literacy test and student and teacher perception questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics (t-test).The results showed that the use of digital platforms significantly improved students' numeracy literacy skills, with a significant difference in post-test scores between the experimental (85.14) and control (72.46) groups (p < 0.05). The questionnaire also revealed that students and teachers had positive perceptions of the use of digital platforms in learning. This finding is in line with technology-based learning theory that supports active interaction and student engagement in understanding numeracy concepts. This study recommends the continuous integration of digital platforms in learning, supported by teacher training and technological infrastructure improvements, to improve the quality of numeracy education in the digital era.
