Character formation for early childhood is something urgent that must be done by the family, school, and community. Without the involvement of all parties, character formation cannot get maximum results. This descriptive qualitative research with literature study discusses the formation of character in early childhood in the school and community environment. The data analysis technique is using content analysis by sorting out data according to the objectives and research problems. This paper produces the following conclusions. First, the formation of character in early childhood in the school environment is largely determined by teachers who act as evaluators, motivators, counselors, mentors, educators, role models, development designers, consultants, and mediators. Second, the formation of character in early childhood in the community must pay attention to several challenges as follows, among others: the negative impact of television, the negative impact of promiscuity, the negative impact of the internet, the negative impact of karaoke places, the negative impact of gadgets and smartphones that are not controlled by parents, and the adverse effects of tourist attractions. In addition, character education should be carried out in a conducive environment. Character education needs to be carefully planned by stakeholders, such as think tanks, both from character experts (morals) such as clergy (religious leaders), non-formal leaders (community leaders), school principals, teachers, parents, and others.

Abstract

Learning media is a tool or means used to convey learning material effectively so that it can foster students' enthusiasm for learning in order to achieve learning goals. However, in reality at RA Perwanida Kandangan learning to recognize hijaiyah letters in group A still uses less innovative learning media, namely directly using iqra' supporting books. The media seems less attractive in the eyes of children. Children become lazy, bored, feel forced, and less motivated in learning. So that the ability of children to recognize hijaiyah letters in group A is still low. Hijaiyah smart board media was created as an alternative problem solving in learning to recognize hijaiyah letters. The purpose of this study was to increase the ability to recognize hijaiyah letters in group A at RA Perwanida Kandangan. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This study consisted of three cycles consisting of four stages, namely: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. This research was conducted at RA Perwanida Kandangan by taking group A subjects aged 4-5 years, totaling 15 children. Abstract

Character education is very important to instill in children from an early age. therefore, schools which are places that contribute greatly to the formation of children's attitudes, are obliged to include elements of character education in their students. One of these characters is the character of discipline. Children are not directly involved in learning activities and everyday problem solving. Yet this is very important for the development of children. Therefore, it is necessary to find a solution to this problem by using ice cream stick learning media. The ice cream sticks will be carried out using a reward and punishment system. In addition, giving punishment to children is illustrated by bad things, such as scolding children and punishing children, but the purpose of the teacher or parents giving punishment is so that children become disciplined in the future and do not repeat the mistake he had made. Based on the results of data analysis in the pre-study, a percentage of 44% was obtained, while in cycle I, a percentage of 60% was obtained. In cycle II, the percentage reached 82%, with the acquisition of these data there was a significant increase in children's disciplinary behavior in pre-research to cycle I and from cycle I to cycle II. Based on these data, this research can be said to be successful because in cycle II there was an increase, and it was included in the good category

Abstract

This study aims to find out the application of meronce activities by sorting geometric shapes in improving fine motor skills, where the activity of sorting geometric shapes previously did not use media or only by working on student worksheets which were considered less efficient. The activity of sorting geometric shapes by tracing geometric shapes can give an interesting impression to children because they don’t feel bored with these activities and they feel happy. Researchers use the activity of tracing geometric shapes to improve fine motor skills by sequencing with the aim that children become more understanding and children don’t get bored while learning. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research with the Kurt Lewin model. This study consisted of pre-cycle, cycle I, cycle II and cycle III. In cycle I, cycle II and cycle III consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, non-test assessments and documentation in the form of photos. The analysis technique in this study uses a qualitative description analysis. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The ability to sort geometric shapes through beading activities at RA Daruttaqwa Ponggok obtained satisfactory results. This can be seen from the results of observations of children’s activities in the first cycle of 64.70 (enough), the second cycle of 85.29 (good) and in the third cycle increased to 89.70 (very good). This is all because researchers and teachers can pay attention to every ability that is in each student, so that all students get the same teaching with various forms of assignment techniques. 2) There is an increase in the ability to sort after the implementation of the activity of tracing geometric shapes can be seen from the results of student learning completeness in that the ability to sort sequences develops very well. This can be seen from the average value showing the results of the first cycle of 50.47 (Starting to Develop), in the second cycle of 71.54 (Developing According to Expectations) and in the third cycle of 85.26 (Developing According to Expectations) and has fulfilled the establishe

Abstract

Abstract The implementation of BDR activities significantly changes the learning process. Significant changes can be seen from the implementation that was initially carried out in the classroom with the teacher changing to the implementation of learning at home with parental assistance. In the implementation of learning, teachers and parents are required to design interesting, memorable and meaningful lessons so that the implementation is fun and not boring. In choosing learning activities, you must also pay attention to the learning objectives so that children can still achieve their learning outcomes. Some schools choose to create meaningful activities by doing daily activities that are fun with parents and do not lose the essence of meaningful learning. This is because children can learn through direct experience and activities. During BDR activities, children spend time with their parents at home to learn and do activities together. This is the right opportunity to teach a variety of things not only academically but also life skills that need to be trained. One of the activities that can develop all aspects of development and life skills, especially meaningful independence that can be done with parents, is fun cooking. Fun cooking is an activity that is very beneficial for children, because fun cooking can develop all aspects of child development. Funcooking activities are activities where children can try directly to make food from raw materials until it becomes ripe through the processes and guidance of teachers / parents. Besides being able to develop all aspects of development, Fun Cooking can develop children's independence. Through fun cooking activities, children are directly involved in it, starting from choosing recipes to cleaning up used utensils. This is where the role of parents to train and teach children about independence in carrying out fun cooking activities that are fun and meaningful in children's learning activities. Independence is an attitude that is obtained cumulatively through the process that a person experiences in his development, where in the process of being independent, individuals learn to deal with various situations in their social environment until they are able to think and take appropriate action in overcoming each situation. The independence of children can be stimulated by consistent daily activities. Independence also needs to be trained and used since childhood.

Abstract

Toilet training is a fundamental skill that is essential to instill from an early age because it plays a role in fostering independence, discipline, and responsibility in children. This study aims to analyze teacher strategies in promoting toilet training at Al Hidayah Tangkil 2 Kindergarten. A qualitative approach was used with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, teacher interviews, and activity documentation. Interview results were transcribed for thematic analysis, while observation data were recorded using a systematically compiled instrument throughout the learning activities. The findings indicate that the toilet training strategy was implemented in a structured and consistent manner. Teachers taught toilet etiquette according to religious guidance, trained children to queue, and instilled responsibility for personal belongings. The role of teachers was not only as facilitators but also as role models through direct practice and continuous communication. Obstacles that emerged included differences in home-school habits and limited parental understanding. Nevertheless, the strategy remained effective due to collaboration between educators. Practically, this study contributes to early childhood education teachers in designing consistent toilet training practices, based on religious values, and appropriate to children's developmental stages. For Islamic educational institutions, the results of this study can be used as a reference in developing more systematic habituation programs, involving parents, and strengthening the integration between aspects of personal hygiene and the formation of children's character. Keywords: the role of the teacher; toilet training; habituation
