Abstract

Pendampingan pembelajaran kosakata  bahasa arab melalui media gambar di MIN 4 Kota Palangka Raya salah satu upaya untuk mengenalkan dan memahamkan siswa kosakata baru, melibatkan kelas VI B sebagai subjek. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media gambr dalam proses pembelajaran kosakata Bahasa Arab. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) melalui terlaksananya Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media gambar secara signifikan mempermudah pengenalan, pemahaman kosakata dan memperkuat daya ingat siswa terhadap mteri yang telah disampaikan. Media gambar terbukti sebagai media pembelejaran yang efektif salam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di tingkat MI.

Abstract

Pendampingan pembelajaran bahasa Arab di MTsN 1 Kota Palangka Raya bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam berbahasa Arab dengan memanfaatkan media flipbook, sebagai media pembantu dalam peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam berbahasa arab. Media ini dirancang untuk menarik minat siswa dan mempermudah pemahaman siswa dalam memahami materi pembelajaran. Dalam proses pendampingan, media flipbook ini digunakan untuk mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa, sehingga mereka tidak hanya belajar secara teori tetapi juga praktik berbicara dan mendengarkan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan flipbook sebagai media pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa dalam bahasa Arab. Dengan demikian, pendampingan ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada penguasaan bahasa Arab, tetapi juga menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan dan efektif.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab melalui penerapan game edukatif  Quizizz di MTsN 1 Kota Palangka Raya, khususnya kelas IX-3. Quizizz merupakan aplikasi pembelajaran berbasis permainan yang menawarkan fitur kompetisi real-time, tampilan visual menarik, serta elemen gamifikasi yang memotivasi siswa untuk belajar secara interaktif. Pendekatan ini dilakukan karena rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa dalam memahami kosa kata, tata bahasa, dan teks Bahasa Arab.  Metode kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan kegiatan pendampingan pembelajaran. Proses pelaksanaan melibatkan penyusunan kuis interaktif, pelatihan penggunaan Quizizz untuk guru, serta observasi terhadap partisipasi siswa selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengamatan, wawancara, dan analisis hasil kuis siswa.  Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Quizizz berhasil meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. Siswa menjadi lebih antusias mengikuti pembelajaran, aktif berpartisipasi, dan lebih mudah memahami materi pelajaran. Selain itu, laporan hasil kuis memberikan gambaran yang jelas kepada guru tentang kemajuan belajar siswa, sehingga proses evaluasi dapat dilakukan dengan lebih efektif. Pendekatan ini diharapkan dapat diadopsi oleh sekolah lain sebagai salah satu strategi untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The internalization of technology in Arabic language learning provides many conveniences for teachers and students in completing their assignments and achieving maximum results. However, you must remain alert to errors that appear in machine searches for Arabic vocabulary. Today, Google Translate (GT) machine learning (ML) can be used to search for Arabic vocabulary and at the same time, be alert to errors. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method for 100 students at the As-Syifa Subang Al-Qur’an Science College, semester 3. The results of this research explain students’ perceptions of ML, where they expect ML to be an interactive medium in learning Arabic. Other results show that in using ML-GT there are several linguistic errors such as grammar, word order, phonetics, morphology, syntax, and semantics. Therefore, Arabic teachers and students can utilize ML in various ways in learning as an adaptive response to current developments. At the same time, teachers must improve their skills in applying learning technology.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab sangat penting bagi siswa, terutama untuk memperdalam pemahaman mereka terhadap literatur dan budaya Islam. Kegiatan pengabdian ini merupakan bagian dari program MBKM Asistensi Mengajar di MTsN 1 Kota Palangka Raya yang berlangsung selama 4 bulan. Asistensi Mengajar adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan mahasiswa untuk membantu guru dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di dalam dan luar kelas melalui pemanfaatan dan pengembangan media informasi teknologi. Salah satu media yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah media puzzle, yang dirancang untuk menghadirkan pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Arab secara interaktif dan menyenangkan. Melalui media puzzle, siswa dapat belajar sambil bermain, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat dan keterlibatan mereka dalam pembelajaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa dengan media ini berhasil menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih dinamis dan memudahkan siswa dalam memahami materi Bahasa Arab. Media ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif untuk diterapkan di sekolah-sekolah lain.

Abstract

The characteristic of Arabic Language which is unique and different compared to other foreign languages, has become certain issue for academic society, especially with this actual condition of COVID-19, it gives impact to both teachers and students.  In university level, more specifically, in order to maintain teaching – learning process to be held, various kind of media are used to support the teaching and learning activities. This research aims for exploring and describing Arabic language teaching – learning online activities in IAIN Palangka Raya using qualitative method and case study. Data collecting methods used in this research are observations, interview and documentation. Research result shows that Arabic language teaching – learning online activities in IAIN Palangka Raya adopting online technology with platforms which based on social media and e-learning application. Those platforms are categorized into three: 1) WhatsApp Group, used for intensive communications between teacher and students related to teaching – learning activities; 2) Google Classroom, used for collecting assignments; and 3) Zoom Cloud Meeting, used for audio-visual media for learning topics which need significant explanation. These medias are used after consideration on ease of accessibility, hardware compatibility, communication features, process and cost needed to use them. The findings of this research describe that Arabic language teaching – learning online activities in IAIN Palangka Raya collaborate those three aforementioned applications so that creativity, innovation and motivation are growing even during Covid-19 pandemic situation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore students' interest in using ChatGPT as a learning aid in Arabic language education and analyze the factors influencing their engagement. ChatGPT has significant potential to support language learning; however, its effectiveness depends on students' willingness to use it. This research employs a mixed-methods approach with an explanatory sequential design. Quantitative data were collected through a questionnaire involving 72 Arabic Language Education (PBA) students at UINSI Samarinda. The questionnaire results were analyzed descriptively to determine the level of student interest. Subsequently, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 12 students who participated in the survey to explore the factors influencing their engagement. The findings indicate that students show a high level of interest in using ChatGPT for Arabic language learning, particularly in translation (77.4%), writing (75.5%), and reading comprehension (72.5%). Factors influencing their interest include ease of use, translation accuracy, the ability to generate writing ideas, and the capability to correct language errors. This study confirms that integrating ChatGPT into Arabic language learning can enhance students' interest and overall learning experience.

Abstract

In the Covid-19 outbreak, the teacher should have the performance to be able to deal with the problems, opportunities, and challenges they face during distance learning. A phenomenological qualitative research method was used in this research to explore the identity of the Arabic language teacher at MIN 04 West Kotawaringin represented by their performance in the daily learning process. The data of this study were obtained from the analysis of interviews, observations and documentation. Interviews were conducted with two Arabic language teachers at MIN 04, students and the principal as the informants. The results showed that the teacher's performance could be seen from; the responsibilities in carrying out the task as a representation of their identity as an Arabic teacher who deal the problems and conditions about the learning facilities, enjoyable technique of teaching and learning, adapt to the use of digital-based media, take different learning resources, and take the initiative to use the most accessible and affordable methods. It was in line with the theory of teacher identity by Anne Graham and Renata Phelps that the teacher should be able to overcome the obstacles faced by both problems from students and infrastructure. This research could be a reference so that teachers can represent their performance, not only as a responsibility but also as a teacher's identity. Furthermore, this research hopefully can examine quantitatively regarding the identity of Arabic teacher in Central Kalimantan.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the use of vlog in learning Mahārah kalām. The formulation of the problem in this study is: how to use Vlogs in learning Mahārah kalām and What is the perception of students regarding the use of Vlogs on learning Mahārah kalām. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with trianguliation techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The results revealed the use of Vlog /Vlogging in Mahārah kalām learning using the following steps: (1) Determination of the theme by lecturers supporting the course, (2) Preparation of ideas as material for making scripts/scenarios, (3) Site selection, (4) Evaluation of results, (5) and publication of Vlog video results on social media accounts. received a very positive response from students of the IAIN Palangka Raya Language Education Study Program. 28 out of 30 students gave positive responses regarding the use of Vlogs in the learning of Mahārah kalām. This positive response is based on several reasons: its use is easy, flexible, practical, and economical. Students are also required to be more creative in making vlogging videos so as to produce a good video. but the use of Vlog is also not free from negative responses such as cheating by students who seem to hide the text/script behind the camera so that the video presented is not entirely pure from the results of Mahārah kalām.

Abstract

Social media is often used as a learning tool, one of which is Arabic learning. This study aims to explore social media-based Arabic learning carried out by Arabic Language Education study program lecturers at IAIN Palangka Raya. By using descriptive qualitative research methods, this study describes the steps for implementing Arabic language learning which is carried out using social media, such as accessing, selecting, understanding, analyzing, verifying, evaluating and producing. The findings in this study describe that social media is used as: First, as a publication forum for project-based assignments; Second, as a means of digital literacy to obtain information; Third, as a way for students to optimize social media as a medium for literacy. The social media used in learning Arabic in the PBA IAIN Palangka Raya study program are; Whatsapp is used as a learning resource for Maharah Istima, Instagram is used as a learning resource in Maharah Kalam. Facebook is used as a learning resource for Maharah Qiraah and Kitabah. Meanwhile, Youtube is mostly used for the publication of project-based assignments. Further research recommended is the effectiveness of using social media in improving Arabic learning skills, as well as digital literacy-based Arabic learning using other information technologies.
