Abstract

The world has been shocked by the outbreak of a virus called Corona or often referred to as Covid-19 (Corona Virus Diseases-19). This virus began to endemic for the first time in Wuhan City, the capital of China's Hubei Province and the transmission of this virus spread very quickly throughout the world, including Indonesia. The Corona outbreak has greatly affected all sectors, both in the economic, social and educational sectors. The impact of this Corona virus pandemic in the field of Education is very significant. This is evidenced by the totality of changes in the learning process or teaching and learning activities both in institutions and non-formal. In non-formal institutions, the impact of the pandemic occurred, one of which was in institutions that held the Tahfidzul Qur'an program. The learning process of the program must also adapt to the conditions that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic, namely the online teaching and learning process, in this case via the Whatsapp application. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of literature Library Research while the method used is descriptive. The results of this study indicate that the learning problems of the Tahfidzul Qur'an program occur during a pandemic which includes the limitations of internet access that occur in certain areas, signal services that are also not maximized, limited mastery of technology media experienced by some teachers and students as well as management less efficient and good time. This problem resulted in decreased morale, laziness, and boredom for students who took part in the program.

Abstract

Interactive learning of fairy tale videos through technology adaptation is a strategy to instill interest in literacy by using technology. Rapid advances in technology are used as an instrument to accelerate literacy. This research is a form of implementing innovation in the use of technology to create interesting learning methods. The focus of this research explains how students can later make literacy a positive habit in everyday life. Literacy education is the basic key to exploring science, presented through showing fairy tale videos. Activities are structured based on a theoretical framework regarding the stages in realizing an education acceleration program. The research method used is a qualitative method by conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and observation. Research data was obtained from 3 elementary schools in Arjasa-Sukowono Village. The research results show that the use of technology for learning has a positive impact on students. With digital learning innovation, students become more interactive, can generate analytical skills regarding the essence of values ​​and awaken imaginative power. This activity can be used as a reference for future literacy curriculum and implemented on an ongoing basis for educators in related agencies.

Abstract

Stunting is a significant health issue in Indonesia today. For toddlers suffering from stunting, this can have long-term effects, such as disrupting their health education, and productivity in the future. The demonstration of moringa leaf pudding preparation was carried out to enhance knowledge and skills in the community so that they can understand and prevent stunting, as well as to showcase moringa leaf pudding as an alternative food or supplementary feeding to prevent stunting. The method used is an educational approach with the concept of lectures, along with information explanations and demonstrations on how to make moringa leaf pudding as a healthy food alternative to prevent stunting. The result of this activity is to provide an overview of the effectiveness of both activities in enhancing the knowledge and awareness of the community regarding the importance of moringa leaf pudding nutrition in preventing stunting. The output obtained is an increase in knowledge as well as an improvement in skills, along with publications in mass media and publications in scientific journals.

Abstract

Padi masih menjadi komoditas pangan pokok yang dibudidayakan oleh petani di Desa Sukodgiri, Kecamatan Ledokombo, Kabupaten Jember. Selama tiga tahun terakhir produksi padi di Desa Sukodgiri terus mengalami penurunan akibat serangan virus kerdil pada padi. Virus ini menyebabkan tanaman padi tumbuh kerdil, daun berwarna kuning, dan akhirnya tanaman padi tidak dapat menghasilkan. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, tim pelaksana kegiatan pengabdian memberikan sosialisasi terkait pemanfaatan agensia hayati Trichoderma sp., pelatihan perbanyakan agensia hayati, serta aplikasinya di lahan budidaya padi. Trichoderma sp. digunakan sebagai agen pengendali hayati agar tanaman lebih tahan terhadap serangan penyakit. Pemanfaatan agensia hayati ini diharapkan mampu menekan serangan virus kerdil yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan produksi padi. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan yang telah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan yang diberikan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam menggunakan agensia hayati Trichoderma sp. di lahan budidaya padi

Abstract

This study aims to examine the focus of scientific studies related to teacher competence and professionalism in the perspective of education, especially in the context of Islamic education. The results of the study show that the themes of teacher professionalism and teacher competence are the center of attention in the literature, which is closely linked to important aspects such as pedagogic competence, educator professional ethics, quality of education, and the social image of teachers. In addition, the analysis of temporal developments shows a shift in focus from fundamental issues to more contextual and applicative topics, such as strengthening writing competence and improving the quality of public perception of educational institutions. These findings show that the development of teacher professionalism cannot be separated from the integration of Islamic values, as well as the importance of building the character of educators who excel spiritually, morally, and intellectually. This study is expected to be a strategic reference for curriculum development, improving the quality of Islamic education, and forming ideal teachers in the perspective of Islamic values.

Abstract

One of the most critical competencies a teacher must possess is effectively assessing learning. To achieve this, prospective teachers need to develop the skill of crafting high-quality questions that meet three essential criteria: alignment with learning objectives, the capacity to measure higher-order cognitive skills, and the use of precise and clear question narratives. This study focuses on implementing portfolio assessment in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning evaluation course, which aims to improve students' ability to make questions as a tool in learning evaluation. The research adopts a qualitative approach, specifically Classroom Action Research (CAR), to explore the impact of this intervention. The findings of this study reveal significant improvements in students' ability to formulate questions, as measured by three key indicators. First, students demonstrated a marked progression in their ability to create questions that align with learning objectives, advancing from the "poor" category to the "very good" category. Second, there was a notable shift in the cognitive level of the questions produced, with students moving from constructing questions that targeted lower-order thinking skills (levels 1-2) to those that engaged medium-level cognitive processes (levels 3-4). Third, students exhibited a substantial enhancement in their ability to compose question narratives that are both precise and clear, transitioning from an initial "poor" categorization to a "very good" level of proficiency. Therefore, the study concludes that integrating portfolio assignments into the curriculum is an effective strategy for developing question design skills among prospective PAI teachers.

Abstract

Sampah dihasilkan dari berbagai aktivitas manusia dan merupakan masalah lingkungan utama yang tidak hanya berdampak pada lingkungan tetapi juga kesehatan manusia, melalui polusi, membahayakan hewan atau tumbuhan, dan penyebaran penyakit yang ditularkan melalui vektor. Salah satu cara untuk mengurangi dampaknya adalah dengan memilah sampah berdasarkan jenisnya untuk menyederhanakan proses pengolahannya dan menerapkan 3R (reduce, reuse, dan recycle). Di SDN Karangrejo 04, tempat sampah untuk sampah organik dan anorganik sudah tersedia, namun praktik pemilahan sampah belum diterapkan. Oleh karena itu, mengedukasi siswa tentang pemilahan sampah sejak dini sangat penting untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran lingkungan. Pendidikan, baik formal maupun non-formal, berfungsi untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki oleh setiap individu. Secara khusus, edukasi pemilahan sampah bertujuan untuk membentuk perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi pengertian sampah, dampak, jenis, dan cara pengelolaan yang benar. Informasi disampaikan melalui pengeras suara untuk memudahkan pemahaman siswa. Melalui berbagai media dan praktik langsung, siswa dapat lebih memahami pentingnya pemilahan sampah yang benar dan secara konsisten menerapkan prinsip 3R dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Padi masih menjadi komoditas utama yang dibudidayakan oleh petani yang tergabung dalam Kelompok Tani Jaya Abadi di Desa Lembengan, Kecamatan Ledokombo, Kabupaten Jember. Selama beberapa tahun terakhir petani mengeluhkan turunnya produksi padi akibat serangan OPT. Dalam menanggulangi serangan OPT selama ini petani masih menggunakan pestisida kimia secara berlebihan, sehingga memberikan dampak yang buruk bagi lingkungan. Sebagai solusi dari permasalahan tersebut, tim pelaksana kegiatan pengabdian memberikan sosialisasi pemanfaatan agensia hayati Trichoderma sp., pelatihan perbanyakan agensia hayati, serta aplikasinya pada lahan budidaya padi. Metode kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah metode pemberdayaan masyarakat partisipatif yang melibatkan mitra secara aktif dalam seluruh rangkaian kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan yang telah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan yang diberikan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam menggunakan agensia hayati Trichoderma sp. dalam budidaya padi. Pemanfaatan agensia hayati ini diharapkan mampu menekan serangan OPT dan meningkatkan produksi padi. Kata kunci: Agensia Hayati, OPT, Padi, Trichoderma

Abstract

The character crisis among the youth demands the development of a holistic Islamic education model that not only focuses on cognitive aspects but also balances the integration of affective and psychomotor dimensions. The main objective of this study is to explore a holistic tahfidz education model that integrates Islamic character formation. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, incorporating a literature study approach to empirical scientific publications, supplemented by bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer to map networks of keywords, author collaborations, and citations within the literature corpus under review. The findings from this research indicate that tahfidz pesantren has strengths in shaping Qur'anic personalities through a combination of memorizing the Qur'an, internalizing spiritual values, habituating moral behavior, and the exemplary role of teachers. Excessive emphasis on memorization targets in some tahfidz programs using mechanical repetition methods can reduce space for deep understanding, thus risking the production of hafidz with minimal contextual understanding of the Qur’an and internalization of substantial values. Referring to the results obtained from the data analysis, a reorientation of the tahfidz curriculum is needed that emphasizes the integration of memorization, contemplation, character education, and moral-based evaluation. By integrating the practice of contemplation, moral education, and social involvement based on the Qur'an into the curriculum, the Tahfidz Islamic Boarding School is believed to be able to form a generation that excels academically, spiritually, and socially, and is ready to become agents of social change in modern society.

Abstract

Kedisiplinan merupakan salah satu kunci seseorang untuk dapat melaksanakan pekerjaannya dengan baik dan tepat waktu. Disiplin menjadi salah satu karakter yang perlu ditanamkan sejak dini di kalangan siswa sekolah. Hal ini dikarenakan siswa yang sekaligus berperan sebagai anak di rumah, dikelilingi dengan adanya aturan yang harus mereka patuhi. Tujuan penamanaman disiplin ini adalah melatih kepatuhan dan ketaatan terhadap aturan yang berlaku. Tidak sebatas itu, dengan disiplin juga dapat mengontrol tindakan dan perbuatan yang harus dilakukan dan tidak boleh dilakukan, termasuk berhubungan dengan ketepatan waktu dalam menyelesaikan tugas. Di sekolah MTs. SA Miftahul Ulum Al-Khairiyah dengan latar belakang pendidikan agama ini belum ada program pembiasaan sholat dhuha berjamaah. Padahal, program tersebut dapat melatih siswa untuk belajar disiplin dan mengatur waktunya. Program pendampingan peningkatan disiplin siswa melalui pengadaan sholat dhuha ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan program, dan evaluasi program. Sasaran program ini adalah seluruh siswa dan siswa MTs. SA Miftahul Ulum Al-Khairiyah. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, diskusi, dokumentasi. Hasil dari pelaksanaan program pendampingan ini adalah 1) sekolah membuat jadwal rutin secara bergiliran setiap kelas untuk sholat dhuha sebelum dimulai pelajaran, 2) berkurangnya kebiasaan mengerjakan PR di kelas sebelum mulai pelajaran, 3) meningkatnya karakter religius siswa.
