Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the jigsaw learning method on the learning interest of fifth-grade students at SDN 101900 Lubuk Pakam. The primary issue addressed in this research is the low student engagement, which necessitates innovative teaching methods to enhance learning interest. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires completed by both students and teachers. The findings reveal that the implementation of the jigsaw method significantly improved students' learning interest. This is evidenced by an average student score of 78.4% (categorized as good) and a teacher score of 3.22%, equivalent to 80% (good). The jigsaw method was deemed effective as it fosters active interaction among students and boosts learning motivation. The study concludes that this method serves as a viable instructional strategy to enhance student engagement and interest, particularly at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This research analyzes telecommunication and education statistical data in Indonesia for the years 2022 and 2023, obtained from the publications of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The study aims to understand the trends in the use of information and communication technology and the condition of education in Indonesia post-COVID-19 pandemic. The data analyzed includes internet usage, mobile phone usage, educational facilities and infrastructure, school participation, as well as the outcomes and achievements of the educational process. The analysis results show a significant increase in access to information and communication technology, reflecting the efforts of the government and the private sector in expanding digital infrastructure. However, this research also reveals various challenges in the education sector that still need to be addressed, including disparities in access to technology in remote areas, the quality of educational facilities and infrastructure that still needs improvement, and the need to enhance the capacity of teachers and educational staff. Therefore, to achieve sustainable development, holistic and inclusive policies are needed, focusing not only on increasing technology access but also on improving the overall quality of education. This research provides essential insights for policymakers in formulating effective strategies to address these challenges and strengthen the education system in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh seleksi penerimaan peserta didik baru berdasarkan kemampuan membaca huruf Hijaiyah, Iqra, dan Al-Qur’an terhadap kualitas belajar siswa kelas I di YP MIS Al-Washliyah Kutalimbaru tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linear sederhana, di mana instrumen penelitian berupa angket yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seleksi berbasis kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas belajar siswa. Nilai koefisien korelasi ® sebesar 0,614 menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang cukup kuat dan positif antara kedua variabel, sedangkan koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,377 menjelaskan bahwa 37,7% variasi kualitas belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan membaca huruf Hijaiyah, Iqra, dan Al-Qur’an, sementara 62,3% dipengaruhi faktor lain seperti motivasi belajar, peran orang tua, metode mengajar guru, dan lingkungan sekolah. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an menjadi bekal penting bagi siswa untuk beradaptasi dengan pembelajaran, memahami materi, serta meningkatkan prestasi, sehingga dapat dijad

Abstract

Community service activities for lecturers are an effort to carry out one of the tridharma tasks of higher education. Community service carried out in the form of gymnastics activities with the theme Efforts to Be Free from Disease Together with the Kuta Bayu Community in Gunung Meria District, Deli Serdang Regency. This activity aims to carry out the tridharma activities of higher education lecturers in order to contribute knowledge and outreach to society. This service carried out by several lecturers at Nahdlatul Ulama University, North Sumatra (UNUSU) invites the people of Kuta Bayu to start doing regular exercise activities in order to have a healthy physique and avoid all forms of disease. The expected output target of this activity is: to provide an understanding that Doing gymnastics provides many benefits for the body's health, one of which is improving the body's metabolic system and increasing and strengthening the immune system in the body to avoid various diseases.

Abstract

Tri Dharma of Higher Education is a concept that serves as a guideline for higher education institutions in carrying out their duties and functions. This concept consists of three pillars, namely: Education and teaching, Research and Community Service. Community service activities for lecturers are an effort to carry out one of the tasks of Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Community service carried out in this activity is regarding the Socialization of Environmental Care Education for Elementary School Students 105337 Pantai Labu Pekan located in Pantai Labu Pekan Village, Deli Serdang Regency. This activity aims to carry out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education activities for lecturers in order to contribute knowledge of social skills with sub-education to the community. The service carried out by several lecturers and students of the Nahdlatul Ulama University of North Sumatra (UNUSU) provides knowledge for the community in Pantai Labu Village so that they have an understanding of the importance of caring for the environment. It is hoped that students and the community in Pantai Labu Pekan Village understand the importance of environmental education. The expected output targets from this activity are: to provide knowledge to the community of Pantai Labu Pekan Village about the importance of environmental education
