Abstract

Four-wheeled vehicles are one of the commonly used modes of transportation. The vehicle engine has a cylinder head to place the valves and cooling mantle. Damage to the cylinder head will disrupt the engine's working system for a long time. The damaged  will take a long time for the repair process. The cylinder head is usually damaged at a milage of 80,000 km. The damage experienced by the cylinder head is the emergence of a rough sound in the engine, the mixing of cooling water into the combustion chamber and the temperature rises quickly, in this study a study will be conducted on the damage that occurs to the cylinder head. Based on the results of macrostructure testing, corrosion occurs due to engine cooling fluid, besides that there is a deposit that is very strong and corrosive to the cylinder head on the engine block, microstructure testing shows the presence of (black) deposits which are thought to affect the corrosion process, dendrite grains and rods in the microstructure do not change grain size. Based on the hardness test results show the hardness value of the damaged surface of 102.22 HV and the hardness value of the undamaged surface of 102 HV based on the damage to the engine block cylinder head is not caused by material deformation due to mechanical and thermal loads. The results of the chemical composition test of the cylinder head that was damaged decreased Al 1.1%, Si 0.11%, Cu 0.37, Fe 0.088% and Mg 0.081% and the decrease in the chemical composition of the constituent elements of the material was caused by the interaction of water with the surface of the cylinder head which was characterized by the formation of oxides of Al, Si, Cu, Fe, and Mg. Based on the test results, cylinder head damage is more due to lack of maintenance of the engine block.

Abstract

The principal as a leader in the school environment is not only obliged to carry out administrative duties but also concerns the task of how to manage all school programs. He must be able to lead and direct both administrative aspects and the educational process in his school. This study aims to determine and describe the role of principal leadership in implementing school-based management at SD Negeri 20 Air Kumbang. The method used is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study can be concluded that the leadership of the principal at SD Negeri 20 Air Kumbang has fulfilled the characteristics as a principal by being able to lead his subordinates well, the principal is able to empower the school's resources in the school and the principal of SD Negeri 20 Air Kumbang has a very important role important in the successful implementation of SBM, especially in the areas of financial management and public relations management. The principal tries to implement SBM effectively and efficiently so that school goals can be fulfilled.

Abstract

Artikel ini menyampaikan perbedaan waktu dan jumlah konsumsi bahan bakar (fuel consumtion) yang dibutuhkan sebuah mesin untuk mencapai suhu kerja. Uji coba dilakukan pada generator set mesin diesel Caterpillar type C13 tanpa menggunakan pemanas, pemanas 500 watt, 1.000wattt, 1.500 watt, dan 2.354 watt. Pada pengujian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pemanas dengan daya 2.354 watt menghasikan 20% lebih efektif untuk melakukan pemanasan atau hanya membutuhkan waktu 20 menit untuk mencapai suhu optimal engine sebesar 810C - 84OC. Selain itu juga dapat mengurangi konsumsi bahan bakar atau fuel consumtion sebanyak 1,4 liter (20,9 %).

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the role of organizational culture in creating a sustainable work environment at PT. Alkan Chemical Indonesia. This study is significant because companies operating in the chemical industry face challenges in achieving a safe and productive work environment. The qualitative approach with descriptive analysis was employed in this study. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document review. The findings indicate that organizational culture plays a significant role in creating a sustainable work environment. The dimensions of core values, leadership, collaboration, and favorable working conditions were identified as crucial elements in fostering sustainability. The implementation of a robust organizational culture can enhance employee awareness and engagement in sustainability initiatives, optimize resource utilization, and ensure effective waste management. This study offers recommendations for the management of PT. Alkan Chemical Indonesia is encouraged to reinforce its organizational culture in order to facilitate the implementation of sustainable practices. This entails enhancing communication regarding the company's sustainability vision and mission, fostering collaboration across departments, and monitoring occupational health and safety. By doing so, the company can more effectively achieve its environmental sustainability objectives.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the impact of compensation and work motivation on employee satisfaction at the Karawang Samsat Office. Compensation and work motivation are two crucial factors that can influence employee job satisfaction levels. The research method applied is a quantitative method with a survey approach. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to employees at the Karawang Samsat Office. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression techniques to identify the simultaneous and partial influence of the independent variables (compensation and work motivation) on the dependent variable (employee satisfaction). The research results show that compensation and work motivation have a significant influence on employee satisfaction, both simultaneously and partially. These findings imply that increasing compensation and work motivation can increase employee job satisfaction at the Karawang Samsat Office.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of cash management at the Fahmi Cell UMKM (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) Pulse Counter located in East Karawang. The objective of this research is to identify the cash management practices applied and assess their effectiveness in maintaining liquidity and financial stability. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, with data collected from financial statements, cash transaction records, and other related documents. The results show that Fahmi Cell implements strict cash management policies, including credit policies, efficient cash operational procedures, and accurate cash forecasting and budgeting. Deviation analysis and routine monitoring are also conducted to ensure optimal cash management. The discussion reveals that effective cash management can reduce financial risks and support business growth. The conclusion of this study is that good cash management is crucial for UMKM to maintain their financial health. It is recommended that UMKM continuously improve financial literacy through ongoing training and utilize technology for cash flow recording and monitoring. Additionally, access to financial resources such as low-interest loans is essential to support capital needs.

Abstract

Hospitals are health facility services that face various problems and various risks related to work and work accidents according to the type of work. The implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) at Jatisari Regional General Hospital aims to create a healthy, safe, secure, comfortable, efficient and productive work environment for hospital human resources, both patients, patient assistants, and visitors as well as knowing the Implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System at Jatisari Regional General Hospital. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews. The results showed that the implementation of SMK3 in Jatisari Regional General Hospital has generally been carried out with several stages, such as the establishment of K3RS policy, K3RS planning, K3RS implementation, K3RS monitoring and evaluation, and review and improvement of SMK3 performance.

Abstract

Bio-briket merupakan bahan bakar padat yang terbuat dari campuran batubara dengan sekam padi, bahan bakar padat ini selanjutnya digunakan sebagai bahan bakar pengujian tungku bakar. Penelitian ini bertujan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh laju alir udara, waktu dan temperature ruang  pembakaran terhadap  efisiensi thermal  yang  dapat  dicapai    oleh  tungku tersebut. Untuk itu perlu dicari penyelesaiannya dengan merancang system pembakaran berupa tungku bakar yang dilengkapi dengan alat instrument pengendali berupa thermokopel, flow meter dan neraca analitis, sehingga   variable seperti   laju alir udara, waktu, massa bahan bakar dan temperature pembakaran dapat terukur dengan akurat. Pada sistem pembakaran ini mula-mula laju alir udara dibuat konstan dan selanjutnya setiap interval waktu empat menit secara bersamaan temperatur ruang bakar, massa bahan bakar dan temperatur air di dalm panci dicatat, perlakuan ini dilakukan hingga air mencapai titik didinya yaitu 1000C, dengan prosedur yang sama, pembakaran diulangi dengan variasi laju alir udara yang lain (Lu): 0,06  ; 0,08  ; 0,1  (m/detik). Penelitian diperoleh variable laju alir udara 0,1 m/dtk, waktu pembakaran 12 menit dan  temperature ruang bakar 5100C serta efisiensi termal 47,11 % pada laju alir udara 0,1 m/dtk dalam waktu 10 menit

Abstract

Shan's Juice Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Shan's Juice is included in the culinary of beverages. In fact, this company faces difficulties in developing its business to remain competitive. In order for industrial operations to run well, strategic planning for business development must be made. Descriptive quantitative methods are used in this study to evaluate strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT). Once the SWOT analysis is complete, Market development strategies can be used to attract new consumers.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) are independent small businesses run by community groups or families. As an important part of the economy, especially in Indonesia, UMKM have an important role in encouraging the growth of the community's economy in various sectors, including trade, agriculture, industry, services and other sectors. This research uses qualitative descriptive data with the methods used, namely library research, field research and interviews. . This information was obtained directly from the UMKM tofu factory by conducting observations and surveys based on interviews with respondents. Secondary data is information obtained in ready-to-use form such as library research, literature, the internet and various media. The results of the research show that marketing strategies that focus on the use of social media, targeted local promotions, and collaboration with local communities are very influential in increasing brand awareness. and attract new customers. These findings provide valuable insights for Semprong Amoundy Karawang UMKM and similar UMKM in developing relevant and effective marketing strategies to expand market share and increase competitiveness in the local market.
