Abstract

Fibre concrete is an innovation of normal concrete to special concrete to be stronger withstands the tensile force. Fibre concrete consists of cement, water, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate and additional fibre materials. The addition of fibre is expected to reduce the segragation and prevent cracks of the concrete. In this research used additional glass fracture with variation of 15%, 20%, 25% to the weight of the fine aggregate as well as additional of optic fibre of 0,15% of the concrete’s weight. Their compressive strength was examined at the age of 28 days. The result is gained by adding 15% of glass fracture 24,94 MPa with modulus of elasticity 23471,8 MPa, addition of 20% gained the result of compressive strength by 25,48 MPa with modulus of elasticity 23724,5 MPa, meanwhile by adding glass fracture 25% gained the result of compressive strength 25,77 MPa with modulus of elasticity 23859,2 Mpa.

Abstract

Abstract

ABSTRAK Saat ini, material Cold Formed Steel (CFS) lebih umum digunakan karena kekuatan tariknya yang diketahui daripada material Hot Rolled Steel (HRS). Bahan konstruksi CFS tidak hanya digunakan untuk fungsi struktur atap, tetapi juga banyak digunakan sebagai struktur bangunan. Perilaku koneksi kombinasi baut dan sekrup CFS diidentifikasi untuk mengetahui jenis kegagalan dan kapasitas sambungan. Beban maksimum pengujian tarik diterapkan pada dua jenis bahan CFS. Spesimen dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variasi ukuran lembar CFS 40 mm x 340 mm dan 40 mm x 360 mm. Lembar pertama digunakan untuk sambungan sekrup, baut dilengkapi ring, dan baut tanpa ring. Lembar kedua digunakan untuk sambungan kombinasi sekrup dengan baut tanpa ring dan sambungan kombinasi sekrup dengan baut dilengkapi ring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai slip spesimen sambungan baut dilengkapi ring lebih besar daripada spesimen sambungan baut tanpa ring. Nilai kapasitas tarik yang diperoleh dari koneksi kombinasi baut dengan washer dan sekrup lebih besar daripada yang tanpa ring dengan sekrup. A maximum load of tensile testing was applied to two type of CFS materials. The specimens in this study consisted of two variations CFS sheet sizes 40 mm x 340 mm and 40 mm x 360 mm. The first sheet is used for screw connectors, bolt with washers, and bolt without washers. The second sheet is used for screw connectors combined with bolts without washer and screw connectors combined with bolts and washer. The results showed that the slip value of the bolt connection specimens with washers was greater than the bolt connection specimens without washer. The tensile capacity value obtained by the bolt combination connection with washer and screw was more rodust than the one without washer and screw. Abstract

The roof construction is the highest part of the building. Various problems with roof construction depend on the area to be protected, the shape and construction chosen, and the covering layer. This study aims to study and analyze the structure of wooden roof trusses and light steel roof trusses, study construction failures, find a comparison of construction failures between wooden roof trusses and light steel roof trusses. The method used is the meta-analysis method. The causes of failure that occur due to the use of wood are cracks or breaks, setbacks or corrosion and accidental cracks while the causes of failure in light steel are due to bending and due to curling. The results of the calculation of the 7 x 9 m building obtained the most economical truss trunk dimensions for wood materials are 6 / 8 cm for upper, lower, diagonal and vertical trunks. For the left and right vertical rods use 2 4/10 cm timbers. As for steel materials, it uses a 2L 35x35x4 mm isosceles elbow steel profile for all bars. In a 10 x 15 m building, wooden easels use a size of 8/10 cm for the upper, lower, diagonal and vertical trunks in the middle. For the left and right vertical rods, use 2 4/10 cm sticks. Meanwhile, the steel trusses use 2L 40x40x4 mm isosceles elbow steel profiles for the top rod, 2L 35x35x4 mm for the bottom and vertical rods and 2L 45x45x5 mm for the diagonal rod. From the results of the calculation of the weight of wooden and steel easels, a weight difference of 19% was obtained in the 7 m span and 12.5% in the 10 m span, with wooden easels lighter than steel materials.

Abstract

This paper summarizes new application of CFS in bridge constructions where a seven meters long pedestrian bridge was constructed. The bridge has 1.2m width, 0.8m depth, and is composed of CFS Warren truss and bondek floor systems. Natural frequency of the bridge considering only dead load application was found as 8.54 Hz and decreased to 7.08 Hz when the live load was included. Under static load test, the application of dead load only and both dead and live loads yielded a maximum deflection of 3.53 and 8.1 mm, respectively. Normal walking and running pedestrian loads were carried out created a maximum acceleration equaled to 0.11g. Lastly, sinusoidal waves application facilitated through a three-phase induction motor having self-weight of 24.86 kgf at frequency equal to 8.5 Hz was performed for one hour resulting no decrease of the natural frequency, thus the bridge can be assumed to experience no noticeable stiffness degradation.

Abstract

Open waste burning remains a significant environmental issue in Badak Anom Village, contributing to air pollution that adversely affects community health. This community service program aims to introduce the rocket stove as an alternative technology for more efficient and low-emission waste management. The implementation method includes literature review, coordination and permit acquisition from local authorities, site surveys, preparation of technical drawings, construction of the rocket stove, and community training on its use. The results show that the rocket stove effectively reduces smoke emissions compared with open burning, improves combustion efficiency, and decreases the volume of organic waste by more than 70 percent. The community also demonstrated increased understanding of waste segregation and safe combustion practices. Overall, the rocket stove has proven to be an effective appropriate technology that supports sustainable waste management in rural areas.

Abstract

Abstrak: Desa Kahyapu Pulau Enggano memiliki kekayaan sumber daya alam pesisir dan laut yang dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu destinasi pariwisata bahari di pesisir barat Pulau Sumatera. Pengembangan wisata bahari di Desa Kahyapu belum optimal dilakukan sehingga perlu meningkatkan promosi melalui media cetak seperti leaflet. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemandirian Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Podipo) Desa Kahyapu Pulau Enggano melalui peningkatan promosi wisata bahari pesisir. Metode pengabdian dilakukan melalui sosialisasi dan penyuluhan terkait penyusunan paket wisata bahari dan penyusunan leaflet/flyer sebagai media promosi kepada Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) Podipo yang beranggotakan 33 orang serta evaluasi berupa angket sebelum dan sesudah pemberian program pengabdian. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 95% Pokdarwis Podipo puas terhadap program pengabdian dan telah sepenuhnya memahami terkait konsep wisata bahari, namun perlu peningkatan dan variasi media promosi seperti pemanfaatan media sosial online sebagai sarana promosi.Abstract:  Kahyapu Village, Enggano Island, has a wealth of coastal and marine natural resources that can be used as a marine tourism destination on the west coast of Sumatra Island. Marine tourism development in Kahyapu Village has yet to be carried out optimally, so it is necessary to increase promotion through leaflets. This community service program aims to improve the knowledge and independence of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis Podipo) of Kahyapu Village, Enggano Island, by increasing the promotion of coastal marine tourism. The community service program method is carried out through socialization and counselling regarding the preparation of marine tourism packages and preparation of leaflets/flyers as promotional media for the Podipo Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis), which has 33 members, as well as evaluation in the form of questionnaires before and after providing the service program. The service results show that as many as 95% of Pokdarwis Podipo are satisfied with the service program and fully understand the concept of marine tourism. Still, there is a need for improvement and variety in promotional media, such as online social media as a tourism promotional tool.

Abstract

Perencanaan gedung Hotel 20 lantai di Medan menggunakan aplikasi ETABS dilakukan untuk memperoleh hasil analisis struktur yang akurat. ETABS memungkinkan perhitungan gaya dalam, defleksi, dan respons seismik secara tepat melalui pemodelan, analisis, dan desain struktur beton bertulang. Tujuan perencanaan ini adalah menghasilkan komponen struktur yang tahan gempa serta berperilaku daktail guna mengurangi risiko kerusakan akibat gempa kuat. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode Spektrum Respons Percepatan Maksimum Kegempaan (SRPMK) untuk menganalisis respons dinamik bangunan berdasarkan karakteristik seismik lokasi. Parameter yang dianalisis meliputi gaya geser dasar, perpindahan antarlantai, dan periode getar struktur untuk memastikan kesesuaian dengan standar desain gempa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa balok dan kolom memenuhi persyaratan struktur tahan gempa secara aman dan mendukung kinerja bangunan yang andal selama umur layanan struktur.

Abstract

Work environment, work motivation, and work discipline are important factors that influence employee performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of these three factors on employee performance in the Tangerang Regency Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD). Using a quantitative method with a saturated sampling approach, this study involved 55 employees aged 20-41 years as the population and sample. Data analysis included validity, reliability, classical assumptions, regression, hypothesis, and coefficient of determination tests. The results showed that these three factors had a positive and significant influence on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. Partially, the work environment t-count 3.317 > t-table 2.007, work motivation t�count 3.012 > t-table 2.007, and work discipline t-count 9.174 > t-table 2.007 had a significant influence. Simultaneously, the three variables also had a positive and significant influence F-count 158.114 > F-table 2.783. The conclusion of this study is that the environment, motivation, and work discipline are important factors that can be the basis for formulating policies to improve employee performance.

Abstract

Masyarakat di Desa Badak Anom masih mengalami kendala dalam pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga. Pembuatan pupuk cair dipilih sebagai fokus kegiatan karena dinilai mampu mengurangi volume sampah sekaligus menyediakan pilihan pupuk organik yang lebih aman bagi lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diarahkan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa KKN dalam memproduksi pupuk cair berbahan limbah organik serta memberikan pemahaman kepada warga mengenai manfaat penggunaannya untuk kegiatan bercocok tanam. Pelaksanaan program dilakukan melalui pelatihan dan praktik langsung oleh mahasiswa KKN, mulai dari tahap pengumpulan bahan, proses pencampuran, hingga fermentasi menggunakan EM4. Sementara itu, ibu-ibu PKK dan KWT berperan sebagai penerima produk pupuk dan pengguna pada tahap penanaman bibit. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini mampu memperkuat kemampuan teknis mahasiswa dalam meracik pupuk dan mendorong peningkatan kemampuan kerja sama tim. Dari sisi manfaat bagi masyarakat, penggunaan pupuk cair ini membantu mengurangi ketergantungan pada pupuk kimia. Secara keseluruhan, program ini menunjukkan bahwa pengolahan limbah organik menjadi pupuk cair merupakan pendekatan yang efektif untuk mendukung kemandirian lingkungan serta mendorong praktik pertanian berkelanjutan di desa.
