Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance of teachers in Junior High School 2 Bilah Hulu. This research uses descriptive research. The population of this study were 5 mathematics teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Bilah Hulu. Saturated sampling was used to take the sample, meaning that all members of the population were sampled. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale technique. The results of data analysis showed mastery of the material with an average of 86.4, the manifestation of creativity with an average of 80.2, utilization of teaching time with an average of 82.6, student understanding with an average of 83.6 and mastery of the class state with an average average 84.4. The overall results of the indicators get an average of 83.96 with good criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to see the strengths and weaknesses of the teacher in the teaching process based on the competence aspects of the mathematics teacher and to describe the situation and state of the teacher's competence when in the learning process in the classroom based on student perceptions associated with the competence of the students themselves. Data processing techniques using data analysis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The population of this study were junior high school students in Labuhanbatu. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling leading to simple random sampling, the number of samples obtained was 219 students. Techniques in the data collection process were carried out by distributing a questionnaire on students' perceptions of the mathematics teacher's performance consisting of 48 questions in the form of a Likert scale.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance management and mathematical disposition of students through the problem posing approach. This research uses quasi experimental research. The population in this study were 149 students of SMK Sumber Mulyo. The research sample was the cluster random sampling technique (random group sample), that is, one class was selected as a sample subject to treatment through random selection, namely students of class XI SMK TSM totaling 30 students. The results showed that the level of influence between the problem posing approach variable on performance management and students' mathematical dispositions had a high effect. The results of testing the research hypothesis testing problem posing approach to performance management can be seen that the tcount value is 7.560 and ttabet is 1, 781 so that tcount ≥ ttable then Ha1 is accepted, that is, there is a positive and significant influence between the problem posing approach to performance management. Furthermore, the results of the research hypothesis test of the problem posing approach to mathematical disposition, it is known that the tcount value is 6.630 and the t table is 1.981 so that tcount ≥ ttable then Ha2 is accepted, namely that there is a positive and significant influence between the problem posing approach to mathematical disposition.
