Abstract

Maintaining high quality is crucial for any company that produces goods. PT. Dharma Anugerah Indah specializes in printing and packaging, but customers have been complaining about the quality of their products in 2022. Specifically, there were many defects in the packaging, particularly problems with the color. These defects have caused a decrease in customer trust and could harm the company's reputation. This study aims to identify the problems causing the defects that are triggering customer complaints. To analyze the defects, we used the Six Sigma method with the DMAIC cycle and the FMEA method. In the define phase, we found that the most significant problems were related to color, bad printing, and bad glueing. These issues were mainly caused by operator negligence, frequent machine trouble, poor materials, and inadequate environmental conditions. However, our Six Sigma calculations show that the Sigma levels were good, ranging from 4.2 to 4.24. We also used the FMEA method to prioritize the failure modes and determine proposed improvements. Based on the proposed improvements, we recommend scheduling work training, monitoring employee performance, maintaining production machines, and increasing awareness of the work environment to improve production quality.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction became one major priority for business agent to attract customer buying interest. Customer satisfaction is the feeling of happiness or sadness which appear after buying and comparing the product with other brands. The process of getting good Multiple Linear Regression analysis result in this research, then it has to be examined in these following steps: (1) Testing the validity and reliability of questionnaire measuring instruments. (2) Describing variables of the research. (3) Testing the classical assumptions such as heterokedasticity, multicollinearity, collinearity and normality test. (4) Analyzing Multiple Linear Regression, which includes the F_test (joint test), t_test (partial test), and the coefiicient of detemination (R-squared) test. Identification values of the factors that affect customer satisfaction towards KPUB Sapi Jaya pure milk products obtained from the result of the linear regression equation, where the value of the influence constituent is 2,117 units, the value of the influence of X1. of 0.367 units, the value of influence X3. Product features of 0.671 units, the value of influence X4. The product beauty is 0.259, the value of influence X5. The perceived quality is 0.814 units and the value of influence X6. Service is 0.211 units. Furthermore, the results of the significance test, which significantly affects customer satisfaction of KPUB Sapi Jaya pure milk products, it is concluded that there are 2 factors, the first is product durability factor (X1) and the second is perceived quality factor (X5). Meanwhile 4 other factors are not significant, such as product suitability factor (X2); product features (X3); beauty products (X4) and services (X6).

Abstract

The quality development is the most important thing that every company must do to minimize the defective products. One of the methods that can be used to analyze the defective products is Six Sigma which means as a method that can achieve, maintain, and maximize the success of business in a comprehensive and flexible way. The steps to be formulated by implementing the Six Sigma management cycle are DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control). PT. XYZ which is engaged in manufacturing cement bags with one of its products is pasted kraft bags. The purpose of this study was to calculate the sigma score of the current conditions in the company, to analyze the causes of defective product that exceed the company's tolerance standards. The results showed three defective products. Those are printing defects, wrinkled bags and cutting defects. The average sigma score in the production process of Pasted kraft bags was 4.03 sigma, which means that out of 1 million products, there were around 5,858 defective products. The analysis of the core causes of product defects are the poor control of machine component conditions, the less attention of operators to standardize the machine settings, and the worn machine components during the production process. The repair step which is based on the 5W + 1H method are the recommendations for making a form to control the condition of engine components and good SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure), the procurement of field supervisors and regular training to operators.

Abstract

Tofu Experimental Design Using the TAGUCHI Method Approach at the JB Tofu FactoryAbstractHome industry Tahu JB is a small and medium enterprise (UKM) which operates in the food production sector. An emphasis on quality, efficiency, and technology is critical to maintaining a competitive advantage. The JB Tofu Factory in Jombang is facing production challenges which result in imperfect tofu, which poses a risk to the sustainability of its business. This research aims to optimize the tofu production process in Tahu JB Jombang using the Taguchi approach. The main problem addressed is the occurrence of defective products that threaten business continuity. Taguchi's method, which uses tools such as SNR, Orthogonal Arrays (especially L8( 23 )), ANOVA, and F tests, has proven effective inidentifying key factors such as soybean soaking time, soybean grinding,and starch deposition time. know that it affects product quality. With 3 factors 2 levels, the research results show that soybean milling makes a significant contribution to tofu texture, with a contribution of 37.13% to SNR and 51.61% to average product quality. The results of this research are the soaking time for soybeans level 2 (4 hours), grinding level 1 (1x), sedimentation of tofu essence level 1 (20 minutes) and it is hoped that this can improve the quality of tofu products and operational efficiency at the JB Tofu factory as a whole.

Abstract

PT CJ Feed and Care Indonesia (Jombang Factory) is a company operating in the animal feed industry. Improper production planning causes problems in managing raw materials, and often the stock of raw materials for production is overstocked, resulting in warehouse rental costs. In the period January 2024 to April 2024, 30,545 tons of raw materials were recorded in the rental warehouse, and storage rental costs amounted to 675 million. The purpose of this research is to determine the production volume of XYZ Broiler products based on past sales estimates. And to plan raw material supplies for the production of XYZ Broiler products using the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method with the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) technique. Based on sales data, the Decomposition method is the best forecasting method because it has the lowest MAPE, MAD and MSD values. Therefore, we can conclude that sales for the last 4 months, namely January to April 2024, were 4,498, 4,303, 5,582 and 3,884 tons. The final process for obtaining data on raw material requirements is creating an MRP report using the EOQ technique. With this MRP method, the company can provide raw materials according to sales demand so that it does not need to rent an external warehouse to store excess raw materials and can save 675 million from the cost of renting an external warehouse for 4 months and Rp. 381,812,500,000 from the cost of purchasing Soya Bean M eal (SBM) materials. overstock.

Abstract

TPKU PP.Tebuireng's business is engaged in school uniforms. The results of previous research, it was found that there were seven Critical to Quality (CTQ). The seven CTQs are button attachment, accessories installation, untidy stitching, loose overlock, uniform stain, slanted pocket, and sloping belt. Based on these findings, the objective of the activity is transforming knowledge to develop the quality of school uniform using the six sigma method. The six sigma method is improving quality, aiming 3-4 defects per million products or services. The results of the service activities have been delivery of material and the application of the six sigma method. The six sigma method stages include define, measure, analyze, improve, control. The results of the define application by check sheet, identified seven CTQs. The application of measure is 2.95 sigma level, is equivalent to 74,830 defective in a million productions. The analyze application with pareto and causal diagram shows two types of CTQ. That have dominant causes of defects, namely untidy seams and uniform stains. The implementation of improve is based on the analyze stage results. Implementation of control by means of documentation, disseminate all relevant sections. As a step to improve the performance of the next process.

Abstract

Abstract: Local wisdom can support in overcoming various problems that exist in the community. Local wisdom which is part of cultural heritage has the potential to be used as a development resource, especially in rural areas. In this community service activity, the focus is on local wisdom in Wonosalam, Jombang. The government of Jombang Regency also encourages the development of rural tourism in which Wonosalam is the pre-eminent area. The sustainability of tourist villages is always being developed so that it is necessary to add value/character (value co-creation) to tourist villages in the Wonosalam area. Batik which is the heritage of the Indonesian nation and the heritage of Humanity for Oral and Intangible Culture (Masterpice of the Oral and Intangible Herritage of Umanity) has value and has been recognized internationally. Based on direct observations of the movement of tourists in Wonosalam, an important conclusion can be drawn, namely the need to collaborate on the development of typical Jombang batik as local wisdom that is able to provide value to support the competitiveness of tourist villages in Wonosalam. The process of hand-drawn batik as a service as a possible creative part will continue to grow. To achieve this, we first examine the batik in Jombang. Then analyze the Jombang batik motif, where the arimbi batik motif is the superior motif. Our service approach is adopted from Participatory Action Research with the perspective of preserving culture and local wisdom. Tourist village visitors can enjoy the batik process, especially the Jombang batik motif/arimbi motif as a value co-creationKeywords: Batik, Local_Wisdom, EmpowermentAbstrak: Kearifan lokal membantu kita mengatasi berbagai masalah yang sebenarnya ada di masyarakat kita. Pada program pengabdian ini berfokus pada kearifan lokal Wonosaram. Pemerintah Kabupaten Jombang juga sedang menggalakkan pengembangan desa wisata, dimana Wonosalam merupakan salah satu daerah unggulannya. Keberlanjutan desa wisata terus dikembangkan, dan perlu adanya nilai tambah desa wisata yang ada di wilayah Wonosalam. Batik, warisan nasional Indonesia dan warisan budaya takbenda lisan umat manusia (masterpiece of oral intangible heritage of human), bernilai dan diakui secara internasional. Pengamatan terhadap pergerakan wisatawan di Wonosaram dapat menghasilkan kesimpulan penting, kita perlu bekerjasama dalam pengembangan batik khas Jombang sebagai kearifan lokal yang dapat memberikan nilai tambah untuk menjadikan desa wisata Wonosalam lebih berdaya saing. Proses batik tulis tangan sebagai layanan bagian kreatif dapat dikembangkan. Untuk mencapainya pertama-tama kami mengkaji batik yang ada di Jombang. Kemudian menganalisis motif batik Jombang, dimana batik motif arimbi sebagai motif unggulan.. Pendekatan layanan kami didasarkan pada penelitian tindakan partisipatif dalam hal melestarikan budaya dan kearifan masyarakat. Abstract

Ketersediaan fasilitas atau media praktikum memiliki peran penting dalam pelaksanaanya, namun hal ini menjadi kendala bagi SMK 10 Nopember Jombang sehingga diperlukan suatu alternatif media pembelajaran praktikum secara virtual. PhET dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Aplikasi PhET ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kemudahan kepada para pengajar/guru fisika dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran terutama dalam hal praktikum. PhET juga berfungsi untuk memudahkan pemahaman materi khususnya materi-materi yang berkaitan dengan alam nyata dan perlu dipraktekkan di laboratorium. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektifitas pelaksanaan praktikum terutama pada mata pelajaran fisika. Berdasarkan hasil survei menunjukkan 45,9% merasa puas dengan hasil pelaksanaan pelatihan dan sebagian besar peserta menganggap perlunya kegiatan seperti ini dilakukan untuk membantu siswa dalam memahami materi fisika baik secara teori dan praktek. Hasilnya 62,2% menyatakan sangat penting, media pembelajaran PhET berbasis virtual lab mata pelajaran fisika memiliki kesesuaian dengan kebutuhan siswa di SMK 10 Nopember Jombang

Abstract

Dalam era digital yang semakin berkembang, tata kelola teknologi informasi (TI) memiliki peran krusial dalam mendukung efektivitas operasional dan strategis suatu organisasi, termasuk lembaga pendidikan Islam seperti pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kematangan keamanan teknologi informasi di 21 pondok pesantren di Kabupaten Situbondo dengan menggunakan Indeks KAMI versi 5.0 yang berbasis pada standar SNI ISO/IEC 27001:2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner serta verifikasi kuesioner yang mencakup tujuh area utama indeks keamanan informasi (KAMI) dan satu area suplemen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pondok pesantren berada pada tingkat kematangan I dan I+, yang menandakan bahwa pengelolaan keamanan teknologi informasi masih dilakukan secara informal dan belum terdokumentasi dengan baik. Beberapa aspek penting, seperti manajemen risiko, perlindungan data pribadi, serta pengelolaan aset informasi, belum diimplementasikan secara optimal. Selain itu, keterlibatan pihak ketiga dalam mendukung pengelolaan sistem informasi masih sangat terbatas. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kesiapan keamanan teknologi informasi di pondok pesantren Kabupaten Situbondo masih rendah sehingga diperlukan intervensi strategis melalui kebijakan, peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia, serta kerja sama eksternal untuk mencapai minimal tingkat kematangan Level III+. Kata kunci: Tata Kelola Teknologi Informasi, Indeks KAMI, Pondok Pesantren, SNI ISO/IEC 27001:2022 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Evaluation of Information Technology Security Level Using the KAMI Index at Islamic Boarding Schools in Situbondo Regency In the rapidly evolving digital era, information technology (IT) governance plays a crucial role in supporting both operational and strategic effectiveness within organizations, including Islamic educational institutions such as Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren). This study aims to evaluate the maturity level of information technology security in 21 Islamic boarding schools in Situbondo Regency using the KAMI Index version 5.0, which is based on the SNI ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard. A qualitative research method was employed, with data collected through questionnaires and their verification, covering seven main areas of the KAMI information security index and one supplementary area. The findings reveal that most Islamic boarding schools are at maturity levels I and I+, indicating that information technology security management is still carried out informally and has not been properly documented. Key aspects such as risk management, personal data protection, and information asset management have not yet been optimally implemented. Furthermore, third-party involvement in supporting information system management remains very limited. Therefore, it can be concluded that the readiness level of information technology security in Situbondo’s Islamic boarding schools is still low, requiring strategic interventions through policy development, capacity building of human resources, and external collaboration to achieve at least maturity level III+.
