Abstract

This research is a type of research and development (R&D) with a 4D model This research aims to (i) design the results of the development of a physics learning module based on creative problem solving to improve students' creative thinking skills which are reviewed from a theoretical and empirical point of view, practitioner responses, student responses, and testing the effectiveness of physics-based learning modules creative problem solving. The subjects of this study are class X.1 as an experimental class and class X.2 as a control class. The results of the study show that learning modules developed based on theoretical and empirical validity are recommended to be suitable for use. The results of the analysis of practitioners' and students' responses to the developed modules show very practical criteria. The effectiveness test of the physics learning module based on creative problem solving was analyzed based on the results of the students' posttest. The Effectiveness Test of the learning module uses t-test analysis. From the results of the study, it can be seen that the learning modules developed have a significant (effective) increase based on statistical tests. Thus, there is an influence of the use of learning modules on students' creative thinking skills. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the physics learning module based on creative problem solving is declared valid and effective so that it is suitable for use as a learning resource.

Abstract

One of the student's abilities that needs to be improved in learning is problem-solving ability. However, in reality, students' problem-solving abilities are still relatively low, especially in physics subjects. This study aims to analyze the effect of learning models and attitude in physics on the problem solving. This research is a true experiment with a 2x2 factorial design. The population is all class X SMA Negeri 7 Luwu Utara years 2022/2023. The sample of two classes using simple random sampling techniques. Methods of data collection using attitude questionnaire on physics and physics problem-solving skill tests. Data analysis using two-way ANOVA The results showed that: There were differences in the physics problem-solving skills of students who were taught using problem-based learning models and those who were taught using discovery learning models, for attitudes to high physics, there were differences in problem-solving skills physics taught using problem-based learning models with those taught using discovery learning models, for low physics attitudes, there are differences in the physics problem-solving skills of students who are taught using problem-based learning models with those taught using discovery learning models, and there is no interaction between the learning model and attitudes toward physics on students' physics problem-solving skills.

Abstract

This research is a survey study that aims to analyze the direct and indirect effects of several variables. Sampling is done using a cluster sampling technique, assuming that all schools are relatively homogeneous, resulting in a sample size of 320 students from SMA Negeri in Bulukumba. The data is obtained through self-efficacy questionnaires instruments, achievement motivation questionnaires, and physics learning outcome tests. The collected data will be processed using two types of analysis techniques, namely descriptive analysis and inferential analysis, using path analysis. The descriptive analysis concludes that students self-efficacy, achievement motivation, and physics learning outcomes are all in the high category. Additionally, the inferential analysis concludes that: self-efficacy have a direct and significant positive effect on physics learning outcomes of students, self-efficacy have a direct and significant positive effect on achievement motivation of students, achievement motivation has a direct and significant positive effect on physics learning outcomes of students, and self-efficacy have an indirect and significant positive effect on physics learning outcomes through achievement motivation of students.
