Abstract

The construction area is the area that has the most sources of danger. UPN "Veteran" East Java is currently constructing several buildings, such as the addition of lecture halls or the construction of laboratories. The density of the campus area with thousands of students around the construction project makes the risk of danger high. Several cases of students slipping and tripping in the construction area due to scattered building materials, making the application of safety signs need to be considered. This study aims to determine how necessary safety signs are for work safety on the UPN "Veteran" East Java construction project. Where the population used in this activity is students with a sample size of 30 people. The methods used are statistical methods of the ANOVA test, Ergonomic Checklist, and Questionnaire of understanding of safety signs. The results of data processing concluded that the application of OHS signs is needed, especially signs of danger of falling goods, tripping warnings, slipping warnings, and slippery floor warnings

Abstract

Purchasing Consortium (PC) is a strategy in purchasing wich two or more organizations with separate legal entities are merged either individually or through third parties. The main problem that arises in a PC is how to allocate the savings obtained to each member. Generally, the contributions given by each buyer in the purchase differ from one another. Allocation of savings equally to each buyer is no longer representing the contribution of each buyer. The purpose of this study is allocated savings using the Shapley value method of the cooperative game theory. Where each buyer obtained a saving allocation that is in accordancewith his contribution.Based on the results of the Shapley value, the results of saving allocations were matched with the contributions of each member who joined the PC. Where buyers 1 with a larger contribution get a greater contribution than the others. Keywords: Purchasing consortium, Shapley value

Abstract

PT INKA Multi Solusi is a company that focuses on providing manufacturing services for railway and land transportation products. In its business process PT. X uses the Make To Order (MTO) production system. In carrying out the project, it is not uncommon for delays in the arrival of materials, especially in the procurement project of 10 luxury train cars. This study aims to identify risks for cause and impact analysis and then developed to carry out effective risk mitigation planning used for risk control, and continuous monitoring of control. To solve this problem, the author uses the House of Risk (HOR) approach to be able to determine risk agents who must be prioritized first to then choose the most effective action to reduce the potential risks posed by risk agents. Based on the results of data processing, 11 dominant risk agents were obtained which must be solved with effectiveness to difficulity sequentially of 28141.73, 22919.03, 21032.7125, 20944.31, 20679.75, 16333.17, 16137.35, 15861.75, 9590.543, 7066.475, and 5975.095.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is an organization that manufactures wood products, including tables, chairs, and other domestic items. Workplace accidents are an extremely probable occurrence at PT. XYZ. Consequently, risk management is essential for reducing the occurrence of workplace accidents. The process of identifying suitable control measures is simplified through the utilization of the HIRARC method. The investigation was conducted in the grinding, sanding, lathe, drill, and corridor areas of the PT. XYZ process area. According to the findings derived from the conducted research, the hazard identification procedure yielded twenty-four indicators of peril. After calculating the 24 hazard indications, the risk level associated with the indicated hazards is determined. One is classified as extremely high risk, thirteen as high risk, eight as medium risk, and two as low risk. And company management can control hazards through the provision of safety signs, utilization of appropriate PPE, and establishment of work areas.

Abstract

Inventory is crucial and very important in every production series. So good inventory management is needed to increase the optimization of production activities. Decision making in order to reduce risks in the warehouse if procurement of too many goods in a short period results in increased storage costs. This research proposes inventory management using the Economic Order Quantity method with the results for grinding blades, bolts and acetylene respectively being EOQ of 136.7; 154.9; and 42.42.

Abstract

This evaluation of the working environment was carried out in order to improve health and safety at work (K3), reduce the risk of accidents at work and optimise the psychological state of the employees. The research was carried out by taking measurements in all rooms of the Quality Control Building, 1st floor and dining room. The data was analysed using Microsoft Excel software. The data was then analysed using the HIRADC method. In the noise measurements, the room with the highest noise is the Chemical Physics Laboratory Room at 81.21 dB. Then, when measuring humidity, the room with the highest humidity is the changing room at 68.90%. In the light intensity measurement, the room with the highest light intensity is the Returns Room at 1686 lux. In the temperature measurement, the room with the highest temperature is the laundry room at 33.20°C. The HIRADC analysis is then carried out to identify potential hazards that may occur and to determine improvements that can be made. Based on the HIRADC analysis, there are 7 that are in the low risk category, which has a risk level range of 1-4, marked in green. There are 9 that are in the medium risk category between 5-9 which is marked in yellow. Then there are 4 in the high risk category between 10-16, which are marked in orange. This means that the risks in the high category require in-depth action.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze legal aspects of the practice of unilaterally deleting electronic system user accounts to moderate content by the marketplace according to the regulation of the minister of communication and informatics number 5 of 2020 concerning electronic system organizers scope. This research was conducted using a normative and comparative juridical approach method with research specifications, namely analytical descriptive. Data collection techniques are carried out through literature studies and online data searches as well as examining laws and regulations and books, journals, and other references relevant to the research. The results of this study indicate that the Minister of Communication Regulation Number 5 of 2020 concerning Private Scope Electronic System Operators has not implemented all marketplace obligations as stated in previous regulations. This has led to violations of several marketplace obligations which have resulted in not maximizing the implementation of content moderation practices. In relation to protection efforts for electronic system users, a legal framework is needed that can further specify and regulate obligations, limits of responsibility, and transparency to provide a more adequate protection function for electronic system users.

This study aims to analyze and examine the use of the MSH (Memorize-Speak Up-Habituation) method on foreign language mastery skills, especially English. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of case study research. The data analysis technique in this study was carried out with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion of research results. From this study, it was found that the MSH method was applied with the stages of Memorize (remembering) new vocabulary and pronunciation; Speak Up (speaking) or integrating the use of new vocabulary in speaking activities (speaking); and Habituation of foreign language activities. This study shows the implication that with the MSH method, LIPs members can master 4 English competencies (listening, writing, reading, speaking) correctly even though it requires high discipline
