Abstract

Industry is all forms of economic activity whose process is to change basic materials to produce products or finished goods that have added value or are beneficial to society. The purpose of this study is to identify the comparison of diesel fuel and natural gas costs in boilers at PT. Ogawa, to determine the efficiency value of natural gas fuel in boilers, and to determine the risks of using diesel fuel and natural gas. This study is a qualitative research, namely by interviewing employees in the Industry and Commercial sales division who are tasked with seeking information on prospective customers who will subscribe to gas from PGN. The results of the analysis obtained using literature studies are the average consumption of diesel fuel in boilers per month is 40,000 liters / month and estimated fuel costs of around Rp380,000,000, - / month, greater than the use of natural gas fuel of 42,350 m^3 / month and estimated fuel costs of around Rp229,108,000, - / month. So the use of natural gas fuel is superior compared to the use of diesel fuel

Abstract

Production process flows are often the obstacles caused by production machine not functioning. Maintenance policies applied today are corrective maintenance and plan maintenance/time direct. Reliability centered maintenance (RCM) it’s method that can be used optimal maintenance action for every part of machine in galvanizing wire system. Steps above method planning consist of a functional block diagram (FBD), system function and function failure (SFFF), failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA), logic tree analysis (LTA), and task selection (TS). The results of analysis RCM method obtained 392 failure mode divided into 83 failure mode which is classified as critical and obtained 59 critical type part. Furthermore, the most appropriate maintenance action for 83 failure critical mode is 55 failure mode in condition directed (CD), 28 failure mode in failure finding (FF) category. Based on design of RCM, this research can reduce the frequency of machine breakdown on galvanizing wire system by 80.98%.

Abstract

Indonesia's consumption of energy increases significantly each year. While the reserves of energy are declining every year, alternative energy is needed. The waste treatment of rice husk biomass has been used for alternative energy, so the research aims to optimize the waste into fuel. The research site was conducted in Kelapa Dua Village, Jaya Subdistrict, Karawang Regency. To get the results of the design, there needs to be technological engineering to design production machines with the help of solidworks 2016 software. The research resulted in the form of compounding tools, as follow: Screw press diameter (Ds = 200 mm), screw height (hs = 65 mm), screw shaft diameter (dps = 70 mm), screw lift length (L = 420 mm), nominal screw diameter (Dn = 177.8 mm), screw lift width (Fd Max = 14 mm), screw spacing (pitch) (P = 60 mm), screw number (n = 7 threads), helix angle (β = 8), screw press power requirement (Pe = 119.27 watts), torque (T = 326.1 N.m), screw lift load (Ws = 141.5 N) and pressure developed on screw thread (PS = 1.65 N/mm2).

Abstract

One of the problems of lecture assignments based on drawing is drawing technique. The function of the learning software is to be the basic media of the teacher in explaining the material. This research aims to analyze the feasibility of learning software, namely computer aided design. Research techniques applied in this research are through reference sources from previous studies. The feasibility test method uses validity techniques that already have parameters in determining the feasibility of the test. Results from this study compared to the results of analysis from previous studies showed 78.6% (can be categorized as feasible). In addition, computer aided design learning software in 3D mini ragum has a validation result of 69% (can be categorized as feasible). Then it can be concluded that the learning software used today can support the delivery of materials that will be given.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a B2B plastic packaging producing industry, in bottle products there are 3 criteria for visual defects that occur, namely black spots, flashing, and codensation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the quality control of visual defects that occur and improvements that must be made. In this study, the Statistical Quality Control method is used, the tools used in this study are U-control chart. In addition, additional tools such as pareto diagrams and fishbone diagrams are used to analyze improvements that can be made. From the results of the research conducted, it is known that quality control at PT. XYZ is still within the control limits, then an improvement analysis is carried out using the 5W + 1H method to determine the actions that can be taken in order to minimize visual defects that can occur.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian saat ini untuk melakukan perancangan data bank terpadu (DBT) sebagai media perantara guna meningkatkan akselerasi transformasi data saat ini. Regresi linier berganda adalah metode statistik yang sesuai dengan penelitian saat ini, selain itu dipertimbangkan melalui analisis kuantitatif dan uji asumsi klasik yang dilakukan. Maka penelitian ini akan menghasilkan pernyataan (hipotesis) dari responden perihal kebijakan publik saat ini mengenai akselerasi transformasi data. Beberapa variabel independen pada penelitian saat ini yaitu: Data (X1), Strategi (X2), Perubahan Budaya (X3), Mengoptimalkan Proses (X4), dan Teknologi (X5). Sehingga dalam variabel independen tersebut akan menjadi parameter dalam mengetahui variabel apa yang berpengaruh terhadap akselerasi transformasi data. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil pada penelitian saat ini adalah setiap variabel independen akan menghasilkan hipotesis dan perancangan penerapan DBT nantinya. Selain itu sebagai saran guna penelitian berikutnya dengan mengimplementasikan DBT yang menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan industri saat ini, maka akselerasi transformasi data meningkat secara signifikan

Abstract

The mental workload has a significant impact on work productivity, with heavier workloads leading to decreased worker productivity. Hence, to ensure optimal work output, it is crucial to address various factors related to human performance. This study, conducted at PT. Pupuk Kujang, utilized the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) method to assess mental workload. The findings indicate that the mental workload experienced by five employees in the Spare Parts Warehouse Department at PT. Pupuk Kujang Cikampek falls within the high classification, with an average Workload Weighted Load (WWL) score of 74.04, highlighting the need for work improvements. Potential enhancements can be implemented in several ways, such as developing job descriptions for guided activities, fostering motivation to boost employee morale, introducing employee rotation to alleviate work-related monotony and boredom, and implementing workload and time measurements to balance workloads among employees, thereby promoting overall employee performance.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a fertilizer production company. Its payroll is managed by the remuneration team, divided into organic and non-organic employees. The role demands precision and timely delivery, leading to high workload-induced stress and reduced productivity. Physical and mental demands, time pressure, performance, effort, and frustration are only few of the variables taken into account in this research using the NASA-TLX approach to evaluate the mental strain of the pay staff. A burden Weighted Load (WWL) score of 76.93 indicates a heavy mental burden was found throughout the examination. The WWL for organic employees surpasses non-organics, with values of 81.3, 94.67, 70.67, 93.3, 94, and 85.3, compared to non-organic employees with scores of 67.3, 74.67, 56, 74.67, 63.3, and 68, respectively. Therefore, it's crucial to propose improvements that normalize the workload, aiming to enhance both well-being and productivity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengelompokan persediaan barang di gudang PT XYZ yang berlokasi di Karawang, Jawa Barat. Perusahaan belum memiliki sistem pengawasan persediaan pada gudang serta perusahaan seringkali tidak memperhatikan keadaan sehingga melakukan pembelian besar-besaran sehingga menyebabkan banyak material yang tidak terlalu sering digunakan menumpuk dan hal ini akan menyebabkan perputaran material tersebut akan menjadi lambat, dalam hal ini tentu diperlukannya suatu metode pengawasan pengendalian persediaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengelompokkan persediaan barang dengan metode FSN Analysis (Fast, Slow and Non-moving) berdasarkan Turn Over Ratio (TOR). Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif berdasarkan data historis dengan menggunakan metode FSN Analysis dan TOR. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengelompokkan persediaan barang atau spare part mesin pendukung produksi Departemen RR di PT XYZ. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelompokkan persediaan barang dengan metode tersebut menghasilkan dua kelompok barang, yaitu fast-moving dan non-moving. Kelompok barang ini membutuhkan sistem pengelolaan yang berbeda.  Barang-barang pada kelompok fast-moving yang jumlah kebutuhannya besar dapat dikelola dengan menerapkan safety stock dan reorder point. Sedangkan barang-barang pada kelompok non-moving cukup dibeli pada saat dibutuhkan saja, dengan tetap memperhitungkan jumlah dan jadwal kebutuhannya agar jangan sampai terjadi kondisi stockout.

Abstract

Kinerja Karyawan merupakan faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan perusahaan. Kinerja yang optimal dan sesuai SOP akan membuahkan hasil yang maksimal. PT.Pupuk Kujang Cikampek merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang transformasi pupuk organik dan organik skala nasional. Pada perusahaan ini terdapat kesenjangan antara beban kerja karyawan dengan jumlah karyawan yang ada. Metode ini bertujuan untuk menyederhanakan pengukuran kerja dengan mengubah beban kerja menjadi jumlah pekerja yang dibutuhkan. Metode Full Time Equivalent (FTE) merupakan metode analisis beban kerja dengan cara mengukur waktu penyelesaian pekerjaan dan mengubahnya menjadi nilai indeks FTE. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan dengan metode FTE diperoleh hasil bahwa beban kerja pada Departemen RHI bervariasi, beban kerja pada satuan kerja TKO sebesar 2,84, satuan kerja TKNO sebesar 3,18, satuan kerja programmer sebesar 1,06, satuan kerja asuransi pegawai sebesar 1, 95, satuan kerja kesejahteraan pegawai sebesar 2,18, satuan kerja pengembangan pegawai sebesar 2,18, satuan kerja administrasi sebesar 1,93, dan satuan kerja staf VP RHI sebesar 0,95. Berdasarkan indeks skor FTE, terdapat saran untuk menambah pegawai pada satuan kerja TKNO Payroll, Kesejahteraan Pegawai, dan Pengembangan Pegawai, dengan menambah 1 pekerja pada setiap satuan kerja.
