Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan seberapa efektif slide rule ketika digunakan dengan materi bilangan bulat. Standar berikut digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk menilai efektivitas: (1) Setidaknya pada kelompok "sedang", hasil belajar telah meningkat. (3) Mencapai minimal 85% ketuntasan klasikal siswa; (2) Mencapai nilai KKM minimal 70; dan (4) Aktivitas siswa termasuk dalam kategori "cukup". Tes buatan pengajaran yang diperoleh bersamaan dengan teknik tes adalah instrumen yang digunakan, dan metode pengolahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kombinasi dari metode penelitian statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Menurut temuan penelitian, (1) menggunakan alat bantu pengajaran slide rule meningkatkan hasil belajar, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil uji-t satu sampel; (2) hasil uji-t satu sampel untuk data posttest menunjukkan bahwa angka p = 0,00. Nilai rata-rata lebih besar dari 76 maka dengan menggunakan alat peraga slide rule nilai KKM meningkat; (3) hasil belajar biologi seluruh siswa kelas V SDN Patampanua Pinrang setelah menggunakan alat peraga slide rule lebih besar dari 65 (KKM) yaitu 74,455 yang menunjukkan ketuntasan hasil belajar secara klasikal terpenuhi. Hal ini sesuai dengan taraf signifikansi (α) yaitu 0,05 dan p < α.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze algebra representations in the form of Mandar's typical paso cake slices by utilizing the GeoGebra application. The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis with ethnographic design that involves observation and interviews with certain Mandar tribal communities. The results of this study provide further information to the Mandar people that there is a relationship between mathematics and their culture. In addition, the paso cake object enriches students' learning experience through the integration of local culture in mathematics learning and shows that the use of GeoGebra not only improves students' understanding of the concept of cone slices but can also improve the algebraic representation ability of geometry more easily. This research is expected to contribute to improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts through interactive and effective visualization in improving students' mathematical representation skills as well as the development of more contextual and relevant mathematics learning methods

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas XI MIA 1 SMA Negeri 5 Barru. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksprimen yang melibatkan dua kelompok belajar yang diberi perlakuan berbeda. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MIA AMA Negeri 5 Barru pada semester Genap tahun ajaran 2021/2022 yang terdiri dari 4 kelas dan dipilih secara random. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu teknik analisis statistika deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis statistika deskriptif menunjukkan (1) rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis pretest dan posttest pada kelas eksprimen yaitu 45 meningkat menjadi 75, (2) rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis pretest dan posttest pada kelas kontrol yaitu 37 meningkat menjadi 51. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media audio visual lebih baik digunakan jika dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional.

Abstract

Errors in problem solving indicate that there are parts of the cognitive structure that are problematic, either because they are disorganized, disconnected or experiencing cognitive holes. thinking This research uses a qualitative approach. The data analysis technique used refers to the Miles and Huberman analysis model, namely data reduction, data presentation and finally drawing conclusions. The results showed that the three subjects studied were only S1 subjects who were able to answer all the questions given correctly without going through the defragmenting process, this was because the problem-solving thinking structure of the questions was classified as good, this success was supported by the level of cognitive understanding of the prerequisite material for the questions. good. While on the subject of S2, even though the conclusions of the answers already look correct, in one of the questions, it appears that there is an error in thinking which is categorized as pseudo, this error occurs because of the tendency to only pursue similarity questions and do not emphasize understanding mathematical concepts. The defragmenting efforts given are in the form of cognitive conflict interventions, scaffolding–restructuring and scaffolding explaning. While on the subject of S3, the low literacy ability in reading the test questions, as well as understanding the concept of the prerequisite material for the questions, causes errors at all stages of problem solving. The defragmenting efforts given are scaffolding-explaning intervention, scaffolding restructuring, cognitive conflict, scaffolding-review, disequilibration. The lack of knowledge about the prerequisite material so that more emphasis is placed on providing scaffolding-explaning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of e-learning–based assignments in supporting the implementation of the Islamic Education Curriculum within the Aqidah Akhlak subject at the madrasah level. Using a descriptive quantitative design, the research involved 120 students who completed a Likert-scale questionnaire measuring key indicators of learning effectiveness, including accessibility of digital platforms, learning independence, student engagement, and the alignment of digital tasks with curriculum objectives. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics to obtain mean scores, percentages, and indicator distributions. The findings show that e-learning–based assignments are categorized as highly effective, with an overall average score of 90. Students reported increased flexibility, motivation, independence, and meaningful learning experiences through the use of videos, quizzes, discussion forums, and structured digital tasks. The strategy also strengthened character formation, collaboration, and authentic assessment. Teachers were able to optimize digital media to enhance interaction and instructional quality, while schools supported implementation through relevant technological facilities. These results confirm that digital task strategies play a significant role in realizing curriculum principles and achieving learning objectives, making them highly relevant to contemporary educational demands.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Wordwall application as an interactive gamified medium in enhancing fourth-grade elementary school students' mastery of thaharah material in Islamic Religious Education at UPTD SDN 15 Parepare. Employing a quantitative experimental approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, the research involved 26 students as participants. Data were collected through pretest and posttest instruments to measure conceptual understanding and practical application of thaharah, supplemented by observation sheets to assess student engagement during three learning sessions. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, normality testing, paired sample t-tests (both two-tailed and one-tailed), and N-Gain calculations. The results revealed a significant improvement in mastery, with the mean score increasing from 58.92 in the pretest to 90.46 in the posttest, supported by a paired t-test value of 10.261 and a significance level of 0.000 (< 0.05). The average N-Gain score of 0.72 indicated high improvement, while observation data showed effectiveness rising from 57% (sufficient) to 93% (very good). These findings demonstrate that Wordwall significantly enhances cognitive mastery, motivation, and active participation, aligning with Piaget's constructivism theory and Mayer's Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning. This study fills a research gap by providing empirical evidence on Wordwall's effectiveness in elementary-level thaharah instruction through face-to-face learning. Despite its contributions, limitations include a small sample and lack of a control group, suggesting the need for future research with broader samples and more comprehensive designs.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation steps of Mindfulness Learning and analyze its effectiveness in improving students’ mathematical problem-solving skills on the topic of fraction multiplication and division at MTs Negeri Parepare. The low level of problem-solving ability was identified as being caused by a lack of focus, attention, and mental engagement during learning activities. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design (one-group pretest–posttest). Data were collected through observation, mathematical problem-solving tests, and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics with a paired sample t-test. The results are expected to show a significant improvement in students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities after the implementation of Mindfulness Learning, as well as positive behavioral changes toward more focused, calm, and reflective learning habits.
