Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the genetic parameters and selective traits of soybean that can be used in the single crossing of three different female parental varieties with the same male parent. Furthermore, this study was conducted between September and November 2020 on the Raya Usang agricultural land, which was located at the Dolog Masagal in Simalungun District with an altitude of 1,090 m above sea level. An augmented design was used in this study, which involved the crossing of three F2 lines, as well as the four parents. The plot size had a dimension of 10mx50m, with a spacing of 20cmx30cm. There were about 200 F2 seedlings and four elders containing 100 plants each, which were fertilized and maintained as needed. The data collected on each individual plant were analysed to determine the genetic diversity, coefficient of genetic, genetic progress, the predictive value of broad meaning heritability, and the correlation between the observed characters. The character selection was determined using about twenty genotypes from the F2 generation depending on the increase in heritability and KGH values, as well as the significant correlation between characters.. The results showed the value of heritability and expected genetic progress (EGP) F2 (Grobokan x Tanggamus, Anjasmoro x Tanggamus and Argomulyo x Tanggamus) was high while phenotypic correlation of quantitative characters of  generation F2 (Grobokan x Tanggamus, Anjasmoro x Tanggamus and Argomulyo x Tanggamus) to all the characters observed has a real and high positive value. Key words: cross, genetic, heritability, varieties

Abstract

This study was conducted to ascertaining varieties appropriate to a kind of manure at an altitude of a place. This study was conducted in three locations different level of the height of Perdagangan, Sidamanik, and Pematangsiantar, using Randomized Block Design Factorials consisting of three factors that are to be repeated three times in every location, so that in total there were 81 tenement experiment. Every factor consisting of three level, Variety: V1(Numbu), V2(Kawali), V3(UPCA). The second factor is the type of manure: P1(chicken manure), P2(cow manure), P3(goat manure) and the third factor is the height of place: T1(250 mdpl), T2(500 mdpl), T3(750 mdpl). Result showed that treatment of several varieties various kinds of manure and interaction between several varieties with the provision of various types of manure at various altitudes place indicates the influence was not significant to all the parameters but treatment of various altitudes place indicates the influence was significant. Numbu was best variety for weight panicles of the plot and 1000 grains weights.  Goat Manure was best kind of the manure for flowering day and weights panicles of plot and 1000 grains weights.  An elevation place is best 250 mdpl for weight panicles of sample, weight panicles of plot and weihts of 1000 grains, followed an elevation place of 500 mdpl for height plant, number of leaves and long panicles. The worst is on an elevation place of 750 mdpl for flowering day and day of harvest. Keywords: altitude place, manure, variety INTISARIPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan varietas yang sesuai untuk jenis pupuk kandang pada ketinggian suatu tempat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tiga lokasi yang berbeda tingkat ketinggian yaitu Perdagangan, Pematangsiantar dan Sidamanik, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 3 faktor yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali pada masing-masing lokasi, sehingga secara keseluruhan terdapat 81 petak percobaan. Faktor pertama yaitu varietas terdiri atas 3 taraf yaitu: V1: Numbu, V2: Kawali, V3: UPCA, faktor kedua yaitu jenis pupuk kandang, terdiri atas 3 taraf yaitu P1: pupuk kandang ayam, P2: pupuk kandang lembu, P3: pupuk kandang kambing. Faktor ketiga yaitu ketinggian tempat, terdiri atas 3 taraf yaitu T1= 250 mdpl, T2= 500 mdpl, T3= 750 mdpl. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa perlakuan beberapa varietas, berbagai jenis pupuk kandang dan interaksi antara beberapa varietas dan pemberian berbagai jenis pupuk kandang di berbagai ketinggian tempat berpengaruh tidak nyata untuk semua parameter pengamatan. Perlakuan berbagai ketinggian tempat berpengaruh nyata untuk semua parameter pengamatan. Numbu merupakan varietas terbaik untuk berat malai per plot dan berat 1000 butir. Pupuk kandang kambing merupakan jenis pupuk kandang terbaik untuk  umur berbunga, berat malai per plot dan berat 1000 butir. Ketinggian tempat terbaik terdapat pada 250 m dpl untuk berat malai per sampel, berat malai per plot dan berat 1000 butir, diikuti ketinggian tempat 500 m dpl untuk tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan panjang malai serta terjelek adalah pada ketinggian tempat 750 mdpl untuk umur berbunga dan umur panen. Kata Kunci: ketinggian tempat, pupuk kandang, varietas

Abstract

This study examines the ineffective implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in enhancing performance, motivation, and organizational behavior within the Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) of Simalungun Regency. The research aims to analyze how SOPs relate to these three variables simultaneously. A qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and document analysis involving various government agencies and TPID stakeholders. The findings reveal that SOPs function more as administrative formality than as practical tools. Low motivation and fragmented organizational behavior further hindered SOP effectiveness. The study concludes that the success of SOPs depends not merely on their formal presence but on how they are supported by motivational structures and behavioral alignment within the organization

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of job analysis, workload analysis, and motivation on employee performance at the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office. A quantitative approach was used with a survey method, involving 52 respondents who are employees at the agency. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that simultaneously, the three independent variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Partially, job analysis has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Similarly, workload analysis also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. In addition, motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Based on these results, it can be concluded that improving the quality of job analysis, proper workload planning, and strengthening work motivation are effective strategies for enhancing employee performance in the government environment of Simalungun Regency

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengalaman kerja, tingkat pendidikan, dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Koperasi Simpan Pinjam Credit Union Dosnitahi – Pinangsori. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksplanatori. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 66 orang karyawan, dan sampel yang diambil sebanyak 57 orang menggunakan rumus Slovin. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan pengalaman kerja, tingkat pendidikan, dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,933 mengindikasikan bahwa ketiga variabel tersebut mampu menjelaskan 93,3% variabel kinerja karyawan, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar model. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengelolaan sumber daya manusia dan penerapan budaya organisasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan koperasi

Abstract

The character education-based curriculum is an approach to the curriculum designed to integrate character values into the entire learning process, both through subjects, extracurricular activities, and the culture at SMP Negeri 1 Pamatang Silimahuta. This study aims to evaluate the planning, implementation, and management constraints of the character strength-based curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Pamatang Silimahuta using qualitative methods. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation with subjects including the Principal, Deputy Principal of Curriculum, Teachers, and Students. The research results show that the character-strengthening based curriculum management at SMP Negeri 1 Pamatang Silimahuta is implemented inclusively involving school stakeholders and parents. This curriculum is considered effective in addressing the challenges of character education and supporting project-based learning. The active participation of stakeholders supports the improvement of learning quality. Its implementation shows positive results, although it faces challenges such as external influences and the use of gadgets. Evaluation through observation indicates a great hope from all parties for this curriculum to continue to be developed in accordance with the demands of the times.

Abstract

A character with a good genetic parameter can be used as a selection character. The study aims to identify a genotype with high production. The research was done in augmented, which is the methodology that does not use repetition for the F4 generation but involves repetition for both parents. All plants were planted on a plot. Twenty seeds of the F4 genotype (planted as 40 plants for every genotype), Argomulyo, and Tanggamus were planted as 60 plants with 3 times repeated. Character components of yield examined are the number of branches per plant, the number of pods per plant, seed weight per plant, and the weight of 100 seeds. The calculations were conducted to estimate heritability, the genetic variability coefficient (GVC), as well as skewness, kurtosis, and correlation. The results obtained genotypes that have the opportunity to produce high yields are F4.5.82.87.104 = G7 because the action of genes that play a role, are complementary epistasis, additive, and the number of genes is small, and the value of a large correlation, real positive between the number of branches with the number of pods per plant.

Abstract

Perubahan iklim memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap kawasan pertanian, terutama di negara-negara agraris seperti Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan tinjauan pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi perencanaan wilayah dalam menanggulangi dampak perubahan iklim pada sektor pertanian. Data penelitian diperoleh dari Google Scholar untuk periode 2015–2024, dengan hasil akhir seleksi sebanyak 16 artikel dari total 35 artikel awal. Analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi pendekatan efektif seperti penggunaan teknologi berbasis data, konservasi ekosistem, zonasi lahan, dan kolaborasi lintas sektor. Studi kasus dari beberapa wilayah di Indonesia, seperti Yogyakarta, Bali, dan Karawang, menunjukkan keberhasilan implementasi strategi yang holistik, seperti penggunaan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) untuk mitigasi risiko bencana, pendekatan partisipatif berbasis komunitas, serta pendanaan berbasis adaptasi iklim. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi teknologi, kebijakan, dan partisipasi lokal dalam meningkatkan ketahanan kawasan pertanian terhadap perubahan iklim. Dengan strategi yang inovatif dan inklusif, keberlanjutan lingkungan dan ketahanan pangan dapat tercapai di tengah tantangan global ini.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mulch type and bulb weight on the growth and yield of onion production (Allium ascalonicum L.). In detail, this study aims to (1). Know the type of mulch that is most suitable for the growth and production of onion plants. (2). Knowing the weight of bulbs is best for the growth and production of onion plants. (3). Know the interaction between the type of mulch and the weight of bulbs used for the growth and production of onion plants. This study used Group Randomized Design (RAK) with 2 treatments, namely Factor I: three types of Mulch use (M): M0 = No Mulch; M1= Silver black plastic mulch (0.35 cm thick); M2= Mulch rice straw (1.5 cm thick). Factor II: three tuber weight intervals, namely: B0= 0 - 1.4 g (Small Tuber); B1= 1.5 – 1.8 g (Medium Tuber); B2 = > 1.8 g (Large Tubers). The results showed that the treatment of several types of mulch had a significant effect on plant height, weight of fresh tubers per clump, number of fresh tubers per clump, weight of fresh tubers per plot and number of fresh tubers per plot. M1 silver black plastic mulch treatment resulted in the highest plant height. weight of fresh tubers per clump (148.22 g), number of fresh tubers per clump, weight of fresh tubers per plot. Tuber weight treatment has a noticeable effect on plant height, number of leaves, weight of fresh tubers per clump, number of fresh tubers per clump, weight of fresh tubers per plot and number of fresh tubers per plot. B2 treatment yields the highest crop, number of leaves), weight of fresh tubers per clump, number of fresh tubers per clump, weight of fresh tubers per plot. The interaction of the use of several types of mulch and various tuber weights has a noticeable effect on plant height, number of leaves, weight of fresh tubers per clump, number of fresh tubers per clump, weight of fresh tubers per plot and number of fresh tubers per plot.
