Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of sharia economic law on the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the digital era. MSMEs have an important role in a country's economy, including in creating jobs, increasing people's incomes, and reducing economic disparities. However, MSMEs often face challenges in dealing with changes in the business environment, especially in the rapidly developing digital era. Therefore, it is important to analyze the influence of sharia economic law on the growth of MSMEs in the digital era. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data is collected from various relevant sources, such as academic journals, research reports, and related publications. The data were then analyzed using a comparative descriptive approach to identify the relationship between Islamic economic law and the growth of MSMEs in the digital era. The results of the study show that sharia economic law has a positive influence on the growth of MSMEs in the digital era. Sharia economic law provides a fair and equitable framework in economic activities, which encourages the development of MSMEs. The principles of sharia economic law, such as the prohibition of usury, speculation and unclear transactions, encourage MSMEs to adopt business practices that are more sustainable and oriented to social values. It is hoped that this research will make an important contribution in understanding the relationship between Islamic economic law and the growth of MSMEs in the digital era. The implication of this research is the importance of encouraging the adoption of sharia economic law in regulations and policies related to MSMEs in the digital era. In doing so, the government and related institutions need to consider the needs of MSMEs in facing challenges and taking advantage of opportunities that exist in the digital era, while still adhering to the principles of sharia economic law.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the capacity of the fishing group in Bajo Village, Kayoa District, South Halmahera Regency, in applying more efficient and high-quality fish drying technology. Most fishermen in Bajo Village still use traditional sun-drying methods, which often face weather challenges and inconsistent drying results. The training was conducted in two stages: socialization and practice. In the socialization stage, fishermen were introduced to the importance of modern drying technology to improve the quality and marketability of dried fish products. During the practice stage, they were trained to use a internet of things (IoT) based drying fish device that can better control temperature and humidity. This training is expected to help fishermen improve the production of higher quality, hygienic, and competitive dried fish, thereby positively impacting the economic well-being of the Bajo Village community. Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas kelompok nelayan di Desa Bajo, Kecamatan Kayoa, Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan, dalam penerapan teknologi pengeringan ikan yang lebih efisien dan berkualitas. Sebagian besar nelayan di Desa Bajo masih menggunakan metode pengeringan tradisional yang bergantung pada sinar matahari, yang sering menghadapi kendala cuaca dan hasil pengeringan yang tidak konsisten. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dalam dua tahap, yaitu sosialisasi dan praktik. Pada tahap sosialisasi, nelayan diberikan pemahaman tentang pentingnya teknologi pengeringan modern untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan daya jual produk ikan kering. Pada tahap praktik, mereka dilatih menggunakan alat pengering ikan berbasis internet of things (IoT) yang dapat mengontrol suhu dan kelembapan secara lebih baik. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat membantu nelayan meningkatkan hasil produksi ikan kering yang lebih berkualitas, higienis, dan kompetitif di pasaran, serta memberikan dampak positif bagi kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat Desa Bajo.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu mengatasi permasalahan kelompok lokal sagu di kelurahan Guraping, Kecamatan Oba Utara, Kota Tidore Kepulauan terkait masih terbatasnya pasar dari produk yang dihasilkan dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman tentang konsep digital marketing serta mampu menerapkannya untuk menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas dan meningkatkan daya saing pada level nasional dan internasional. Metode yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah diskusi, wawancara, dan edukasi terkait digital marketing. Mayoritas peserta dalam kegiatan ini adalah perempuan dengan dominasi usia antara 38,89 persen. Selanjutnya, hasil akhir dari setelah kegiatan ini dilaksanakan adalah meningkatnya pemahaman tentang digital marketing dalam hal sosial media (Facebook, TikTok dan Instagram) sebagai akun media sosial juga sebagai wadah untuk mempromosikan dan menjual pangan sagu lokal. Terkahir, tim juga membantu membuatkan akun Facebook, TikTok dan Instagram dalam rangka memudahkan proses pemasaran dengan menggunakan sosial media.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines the impact of competence, compensation, and commitment on village officials' performance. Methodology/approach: Conducted in North Oba District, Tidore Islands City, this quantitative research surveyed 123 village officials using questionnaires. Data analysis utilized multiple linear regression with SPSS to assess relationships among variables. Results/findings: The findings reveal that competence (? = 0,368, p < 0,05) and compensation (? = 0,453, p < 0,05) have a significant positive effect on the performance of village officials. Competence, encompassing knowledge, skills, and attitudes, and compensation, including financial and non-financial rewards, were identified as critical performance drivers. However, commitment (? = 0,143, p > 0,05) did not demonstrate a statistically significant effect on performance, potentially due to the influence of external factors such as political dynamics in personnel management. Conclusions: Competence and compensation significantly influence the performance of village government apparatus, whereas commitment does not exhibit a significant effect. These findings highlight the critical importance of enhancing professional competencies and establishing a fair compensation system as key strategies to improve performance and the quality of public service delivery at the village level. Limitations: This study focuses on a single geographic area and excludes external factors such as organizational culture or policy frameworks that may affect performance. The exclusive use of quantitative methods limits insights into contextual and subjective dimensions. Contribution: This study contributes to public sector HRM theory and practice, especially in village governance, by offering policy-relevant insights on skill enhancement and fair compensation.

Abstract

ABSTRACTObjective: This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership, intrinsic motivation, and job satisfaction on employee performance in the public sector.Methodology: This research employs a survey design with a quantitative approach to analyze the effects of transformational leadership, intrinsic motivation, and job satisfaction on employee performance. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire from 88 civil servants at the Regional Financial Management and Asset Agency of Ternate City. Analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS after conducting validity, reliability, linearity, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. Hypotheses were tested using statistical t and F criteria.Findings: The analysis results indicate that transformational leadership has a significant impact on employee performance. Intrinsic motivation shows a regression coefficient of 0.550 with a t-statistic value of 4.986 and a significance level of 0.000. Job satisfaction also has a significant effect with a regression coefficient of 0.336, a t-statistic of 6.295, and a significance level of 0.000. The R Square value of 0.518 indicates that 51.8% of the variability in employee performance can be explained by these three variables.Conclusion: Transformational leadership, intrinsic motivation, and job satisfaction collectively contribute significantly to enhancing employee performance. This study suggests a need for greater attention to these factors to improve employee performance in the public sector. Further research is needed to explore other factors that may have an impact.

Abstract

bjectives: The research objectives are to determine: (1) To determine whether there is an influence of organizational culture and work environment on job satisfaction; (2) To find out whether there is an effect of job satisfaction and organizational culture on the performance of employees; (3) To find out whether there is an influence of the work environment on the performance satisfaction; (4) To find out whether there is an influence of organizational culture on performance with job satisfaction through intervening variables on employees; (5) To find out whether there is an influence of the work environment on employee performance with job satisfaction through intervening variables on employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Ternate. The total number of 52 respondents in the research samples.Methodology: The data obtained is then processed using the SmartPLS version 3.0 analysis tool. This analysis includes descriptive statistical tests and inferential statistical analysis tests. Findings: Because the statistical t value exceeds the t table and the p value is less than alpha 0.05, the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh hypotheses are accepted. Conclusion: The conclusions in this research are: (1) organizational culture and work environment  has a significant and positive effect on job satisfaction;  (2) job satisfaction has a significant and positive effect on employee performance; (3) organizational culture has a significant positive effect on employee performance; (4) the work environment does not have a significant positive effect on employee performance; (5) there is an indirect effect of organizational culture on employee performance through job satisfaction as a significant positive intervening variable; (6) there is an indirect effect of the work environment on employee performance through job satisfaction as a significant positive intervening variable.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the satisfaction of information availability in mediating the relationship between attributes of and satisfaction in choosing higher education institutions for Universitas Khairun and IAIN Ternate. A total of 252 students from both institutions were involved in this survey, with an effective rate of return of 70%. A hierarchical regression analysis was run by using IBM SPSS version 24. The results showed that for Universitas Khairun, information satisfaction fully mediates the relationship between attributes and satisfaction in choosing a university. In contrast, for IAIN Ternate, information satisfaction is only an independent variable. The implications and suggestions for further research are also discussed in this study.
