Data were collected through a structured questionnaire from 88 civil servants at the Regional Financial Management and Asset Agency of Ternate City. Analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS after conducting validity, reliability, linearity, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. Hypotheses were tested using statistical t and F criteria.Findings: The analysis results indicate that transformational leadership has a significant impact on employee performance. Intrinsic motivation shows a regression coefficient of 0.550 with a t-statistic value of 4.986 and a significance level of 0.000. Job satisfaction also has a significant effect with a regression coefficient of 0.336, a t-statistic of 6.295, and a significance level of 0.000. The R Square value of 0.518 indicates that 51.8% of the variability in employee performance can be explained by these three variables. Conclusion: Transformational leadership, intrinsic motivation, and job satisfaction collectively contribute significantly to enhancing employee performance. This study suggests a need for greater attention to these factors to improve employee performance in the public sector. Further research is needed to explore other factors that may have an impact.

Abstract

High employee turnover rates in island regions like Ternate have become a strategic issue that can trigger brain drain and hinder regional development. This study aims to empirically examine the influence of work engagement and local identity on employee turnover rates among professionals in Ternate. The study involved 185 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that the model explained 55.5% of the variance in employee turnover rates (R² = 0.555). Partially, local identity had a significant effect on employee turnover rates (P = 0.000), while work engagement showed no significant effect (P = 0.127). The results indicate that sociocultural attachment and regional identity are more dominant factors in shaping employee loyalty than individual psychological factors alone. Therefore, organizations operating in island regions should emphasize local wisdom and regional identity as part of their employee retention strategies to reduce employee turnover intentions and strengthen workforce stability.

Abstract

Digital transformation in public services frequently encounters inclusivity challenges for specific community groups. This study aims to analyze the inclusivity of population administration services in the digital era based on gender and educational strata perspectives in Ternate City. A mixed-methods approach with a concurrent embedded design was employed, involving 525 respondents selected through accidental sampling. The research instrument utilized a 4-point Likert scale to measure nine standard service elements. The results indicate that the Public Satisfaction Index (IKM) reached 90.67, categorized as "Excellent". Although gender accessibility was found to be egalitarian, a significant performance asymmetry exists between the integrity dimension (score of 3.98) and technical infrastructure reliability (score of 3.48). Furthermore, groups with lower educational backgrounds still face digital literacy barriers (digital divide). This study concludes that successful digital transformation requires a reconciliation between technological advancement and humanistic values through hybrid approaches and technical assistance to ensure equitable access for vulnerable groups

Abstract

The rapid development of digital investment platforms and social media has transformed how Generation Z investors in Indonesia obtain financial information and make investment decisions. This study investigates the mediating role of herding behaviour in the relationships between finfluencer exposure, digital financial literacy, and digital investment decisions. A quantitative method was applied using an online survey of 280 Generation Z investors who actively use platforms such as Bibit, Ajaib, Bareksa, Pluang, and Pintu. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS to assess direct and indirect effects. The findings show that finfluencer exposure positively influences herding behaviour and digital investment decisions. Digital financial literacy negatively affects herding behaviour but positively influences digital investment decisions. Herding behaviour also positively affects digital investment decisions and significantly mediates both the finfluencer exposure–decision and literacy–decision relationships. These results highlight that social influence and financial competence jointly shape the investment behaviour of young digital investors. This study contributes to behavioural finance literature and offers implications for policymakers, educators, and digital investment platforms to strengthen financial literacy while managing social media influence.
