Abstract

The literacy outcomes of the PISA 2022 test results show that Indonesian students are weak in literacy, suggesting a large gap between the current student performance and the needs of an autonomous curriculated framework. By focus on science literacy viewpoint attitude, this research uses R and D research model, 4D pattern is using to create and validate the module. The purpose of this study is to develop a physics module for teaching that combined with virtual laboratory, to enhance students’ scientific literacy. This study aims to develop a virtual laboratory-based basic physics teaching module, to improve students’ concepts in physics, science literacy of basic physics concepts, and skills. The implementation result support the effectiveness of the module to improve science literacy, and the validation indicates the feasibility of the module. Students' attitude towards science literacy pretest versus posttest assessment significantly different. Summary of this study comprises a more complete teaching tool that it includes modules, videos, and worksheets in a single platform to science literacy. Such findings emphasize that literal experiences need to be mapped on to abstract concepts if literacy is meaningful, and fit with accounts provided by cognitive theory. The pretest and posttest scores of the students produced significant influence on the student’s attitude toward science literacy. According to cognitive theorizing, children must be able to link objects, events, and empirical experiences to develop abstract thinking.

Abstract

In today’s rapidly changing world, higher education is expected to equip students with the essential skills to thrive in global competition. Among these, the four core (4C) competencies—critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration — are considered fundamental for success. Science laboratories hold great potential to cultivate these skills by providing students with direct, hands-on learning experiences. Yet, the benefits are often limited when laboratory activities are not supported by effective management. To respond to this challenge, this study explored how a laboratory management module influences students’ 4C skills. Using a quantitative survey design, data were collected from 142 undergraduates drawn from a total population of 208, with the sample size determined through the Isaac and Michael table. Two Likert-scale questionnaires measured students’ perceptions of the module and their mastery of the 4C skills. Data analysis employed Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), enabling rigorous tests of validity, reliability, and causal relationships. The results indicate that the laboratory management module had a significant and positive impact on critical thinking and creativity, but no notable effect on communication and collaboration. This finding highlights the novelty of distinguishing between cognitive and interpersonal outcomes within laboratory management. The study concludes that structured laboratory management can serve as a powerful tool to enhance higher-order thinking, while additional strategies are needed to strengthen communication and teamwork. This study contributes to physics education by providing empirical evidence that structured laboratory management can effectively foster students’ critical and creative thinking skills. It also highlights the need to integrate collaborative and communication-focused strategies into laboratory practices.

Abstract

This research develops the educational game Magnetic Challenge based on Construct 2 as a medium for learning magnetism. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the research focuses on needs analysis, media usage, and user feedback. The results show that this game is effective in helping visualize abstract concepts, increasing learning motivation, and deepening student understanding, although there are constraints regarding accessibility, audio, and flexibility of learning styles. Overall, this media is worth using as an innovative and enjoyable alternative for science learning for junior high school students.

Abstract

This study presents a bibliometric analysis of research on innovative pedagogy and student emotional well-being from 2015 to 2025, based on 2,613 articles extracted from the Scopus database. The study aims to map publication trends, leading authors, and emerging themes related to this topic. The methodology employs bibliometric analysis using RStudio and the Bibliometrix R package to process the Scopus data. The results indicate a significant increase in publications since 2020, with key topics including Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), gamification, and technology-mediated learning. Co-citation analysis reveals that theories such as Social Learning and Experiential Learning dominate the literature. The study also identifies a disparity in research contributions between developed and developing countries, with the United States and the United Kingdom leading in publications. The findings suggest the need for further inclusive research based on diverse cultural contexts and emphasize the importance of integrating social-emotional well-being into educational curricula to create more holistic and inclusive learning environments

Abstract

In raising the organization of girls in Nahdlatul Ulama Association, women can have a very important role and function in determining the activities and programs that suit the needs of women themselves, whether as a companion husband or role model for their sons and daughters as well as community service, especially in leadership in the family or in general in this beloved country, which is evidence that women play such an important role in building the nation. The girls' activity program of the Nahdelatul Ulama Association in Surabaya for the period 2015-2020 helped to enhance the role of women in the service of society in general. The programme of activities outlined in the outline of the Programme of Action has been realized in terms of real value in social life The women girls of the Nahdlatul Ulama Association in Surabaya City have great commitment and dedication to performing real service, so that they can participate in filling various areas of life with its various problems. Share this service in the meaning of the acculturation framework for religion, social, cultural, as well as economics. A good and correct understanding pattern in religion can generate and achieve good and sustainable benefit. The acceptance of the award as a companion in accelerating the trauma of the victims of the terrorist bombing in Surabaya, presented by the Mayor of Surabaya on November 10, 2019, is proof that the girls of the Association for the Renaissance of Scholars in the city of Surabaya have performed his services to the country

Abstract

In line with the rapid development of information and communication technology and globalization in the 21st century, reforms are needed in the world of education as a source of needs. The success of a nation is often based on progress and development in the world of education. One of the contributions of technology in the world of education is to make it easier for teachers to establish good communication with students or with students' parents. The existence of learning media is able to concretize concepts and ideas and is able to foster learning motivation in students. The learning resources that will be tested are in the form of materials and programs, namely by developing a simple android application Solar System. Validation was obtained with the "Very Eligible" category for each aspect in the form of a questionnaire filling instrument by lecturers of the Faculty of Tarbiyah at the IAIN Kediri.

Abstract

This research aims to develop VAKT-based learning media (Visual, Audio, Kinesthetic, Tactile) for hijaiyah letters memorization of children with a moderate level of mental retardation. The research was conducted at Putera Asih Special School (SLB) Kediri. The method used was Research and Development (R&D) combined with the ADDIE model. However, this research only reached the design stage. The data were collected using interviews, observation, and questionnaires. Based on the assessment by media experts, the videos, flashcards, and plasticine developed were very feasible to use, with an average of 90,4%. Also, the material experts stated that the material in the VAKT was very suitable for use at 85%. In addition, the result of the media acceptance questionnaire calculation reached 85%. It means that the VAKT-based learning media was very suitable for use by children with moderate mental retardation to memorize hijaiyah letters at Putera Asih Special School.

Abstract

The economy is one of the cornerstone of life. Economic indicators can be seen from the consumer price index which shows the rate of increase or decrease the price by year basis. The increase of prices causes inflation of the area. One of the areas in Indonesia who receives the impact of rising prices or inflation is Cilacap district. Cilacap is the largest district in Central Java that economic development would have a major impact on the economy of Central Java Province. The levels of the economy Cilacap district can be seen from the consumer price index (CPI), the higher the Consumer Price Index (CPI) will lead to increasing inflation. CPI is an index that describes the development of prices of goods and services occurs. This research has been done on the CPI forecast for some future period using the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA). Data CPI in January 2009 to June 2011 are used as training data for modeling purposes and obtained the following results: Zt = 0.205744 + 1.5996) + 0.4822 Zt Zt-1-2-1.0818-3 Zt While data on the CPI from July to December 2011 is used as the testing data and the data is obtained by the model error rate 0.0893988%. Based on ARIMA model equations have been obtained, it can be used to predict the value of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in January 2012 for 128.4362, 128.9642 by February, the month of March 2012 at 129.4865, April 2012 at 130.0053, May 2012 at 130.5222, June 2012 at 131.0378, July 2012 at 131.5527, August 2012 at 132.0672, September 2012 at 132.5814 and 133.0954 of the month in October 2012. The results of the consumer price index forecasting for the coming months look up every month, the increasing prices are possible because of mismatch between demand and supplies due to imperfect competition in the market. According to public opinion, the higher prices to be paid because people do a monopoly significantly to reduce the income of employees and the poor in general, and this is inconsistent with the spirit of the Qur'an and Sunnah, because it is not sociable and depriving the poor people also society completely.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh return on asset, return on equity, dan financing to deposito ratio terhadap tingkat bagi hasil deposito mudharabah di Bank Umum Syariah pada periode 2012-2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder dan time-series yang diperoleh dari laporan keuangan Bank Umum Syariah dan Statistik Keuangan Bank Indonesia. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu laporan tahunan selama tahun 2012-2017 pada 9 Bank Umum Syariah. Analisis regresi dilakukan untuk uji signifikansi pengaruh pengaruh return on asset, return on equity, dan financing to deposito ratio terhadap tingkat bagi hasil deposito mudharabah. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan bukti bahwa: (a) return on asset berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap tingkat bagi hasil deposito mudharabah dikarenakan bank meningkatkan laba dengan menurunkan tingkat bagi hasil deposito mudharabah yang merupakan dana mahal, (b) return on equity tidak berpengaruh terhadap tingkat bagi hasil deposito mudharabah dikarenakan deposito mudharabah tidak termasuk dalam unsur modal, (c) financing to deposit ratio berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap tingkat bagi hasil deposito mudharabah dikarenakan pada saat bank menurunkan financing to deposit ratio maka bank akan meningkatkan tingkat bagi hasil tabungan maupun giro dan menurunkan tingkat bagi hasil deposito mudharabah dikarenakan tabungan dan giro yang merupakan dana murah akan mengurangi resiko pengeluran biaya dari deposito mudharabah.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam masyarakat. Melalui pendidikan, individu memiliki kesempatan untuk memperoleh pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan nilai-nilai yang diperlukan untuk menghadapi tantangan kehidupan. Ilmu pengetahuan alam adalah cabang ilmu yang membahas tentang pengetahuan yang berkaitan dengan alam dan fenomena-fenomena yang terjadi di dalamnya. Prodi Tadris Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam merupakan prodi tergolong baru, dimana SK berdirinya pada Tahun 2020. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan memprediksi jumlah mahasiswa Tadris IPA IAIN Kediri. Hasil persamaan logistik  yang merupakan bentuk dari Persamaan Bernoulli menunjukkan kenaikan jumlah mahasiswa baru setiap tahunnya. Pada tahun 2020 , 2021, 2022, dan 2023 menunjukkan jumlah mahasiswa baru sebanyak 23, 48, 54, dan 62 mahasiswa. Seiring berkembangnya tahun, berkembang pula jumlah mahasiswa baru. Dengan perkembengan jumlah mahasiswa tentunya kebijakan institusi tentang layanan akademik, sarana prasarana dan lainnya juga dipenuhui dengan baik sesuai kebutuhan mahasiswa. Hal ini juga nantinya akan mendukung dalam visi keilmua prodi, yang targetnya di tahun 2030 nanti akan menjadi prodi yang unggul dalam pengembangan Pendidikan SAINS berbasis teknologi informasi dan pencetak tenaga pendidik IPA yang berkarakter islami pada tahun 2030. Education has a very important role in society. Through education, individuals have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to face life's challenges. Natural science is a branch of science that discusses knowledge related to nature and the phenomena that occur in it. The Natural Sciences Education Study Program is a relatively new study program, where the Decree was established in 2020. Therefore, researchers conducted research by predicting the number of Natural Sciences Education students at IAIN Kediri. The results of the logistic equation which is a form of the Bernoulli equation show an increase in the number of new students every year. In 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, the number of new students is 23, 48, 54, and 62. As the years progress, the number of new students also grows. With the increase in the number of students, of course institutional policies regarding academic services, infrastructure and other things are also well met according to student needs. This will also support the scientific vision of the study program, whose target is that in 2030 it will become a superior study program in developing information technology-based SCIENCE education and producing science educators with Islamic character by 2030.
