Abstract

Tourism is a very interesting industry to develop. The government and the community are competing to make their area an attractive tourist destination to visit. This paper examines the potential of tourism and the problems encountered related to tourism development in Sampang Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Data collection techniques through: observation, interviews, literature studies and document studies. Data analysis was carried out from the beginning to the end of the study. The data that has been collected is then read, grouped, abstracted to research the validity of the data. The results of the study show that Sampang Regency has tremendous potential to be developed, this is because Sampang Regency has 34 pilot tourism villages and one developing tourism village. Another potential is the very high interest from the public to open new destinations. The challenges faced are, very minimal human resources, tourism has not yet become a culture, and the stigma of immorality towards tourism.Pariwisata merupakan suatu industri yang sangat menarik untuk dikembangkan. Pemerintah bersama masyarakat berlomba-lomba untuk menjadikan daerahnya sebagai destinasi yang menarik untuk dikunjungi. Tulisan ini mengkaji potensi pariwisata dan masalah yang dihadapi berkaitan dengan pengembangan pariwisata di Kabupaten Sampang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui: observasi, wawancara, studi kepustakaan dan studi dokumen. Analisa data dilakukan mulai dari awal sampai akhir penelitian. Data yang sudah terkumpul kemudian dibaca, dikelompokkan, diabstraksikan sampai penelitian keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, Kabupaten Sampang memiliki potensi yang luar biasa untuk dikembangkan karena memiliki 34 desa wisata rintisan dan satu desa wisata berkembang. Potensi yang lain yaitu minat yang sangat tinggi dari masyarakat untuk membuka destinasi baru. Adapun tantangan yang dihadapi yaitu, SDM yang sangat minim, pariwisata belum menjadi budaya, dan stigma maksiat terhadap pariwisata.

Abstract

Learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education ( PPKn ) in schools often faces challenges, especially in attracting students' attention. Students often feel that PPKn learning is boring because of the excessive focus on memorizing facts, names of figures, and historical events. To overcome this problem, interesting and interactive learning innovations are important. This article proposes the use of game-based learning media Treasure Hunt developed through an Android application, as a solution to increase student engagement and interest in PPKn lessons . This method combines technology, group competition, and fact-based learning to create a more active and enjoyable learning atmosphere. This learning model, which integrates the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method, allows students to collaborate in groups while completing challenges based on PPKn material . By using an Android-based application, learning can be more focused on understanding concepts and developing critical thinking skills. The expected results are increased motivation and student learning outcomes through more innovative and enjoyable learning, in accordance with the demands of the 2013 Curriculum which emphasizes active student participation in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the inquiry learning model in internalizing citizenship values in senior high school (SMA) students. The approach used is qualitative, with a literature study method that utilizes reputable scientific sources, including national and international journals. The results of the study indicate that the application of the inquiry learning model can increase students' active involvement in the learning process, strengthen critical thinking skills, and encourage a more contextual understanding of citizenship values such as responsibility, tolerance, participation, and social justice. Inquiry learning creates space for students to build understanding through exploratory, collaborative, and reflective processes, thus having an impact on the formation of strong citizenship character and attitudes. In addition, this study identified that the process of internalizing values is not only determined by learning strategies but is also influenced by external factors such as the social environment, culture, education, and media. Thus, inquiry learning is considered relevant to be integrated more widely into education policies in order to strengthen citizenship awareness and form a young generation that is active and responsible in community and national life.

Abstract

Effective civic education is essential to improve students' civic knowledge and skills, but the challenge of increasing student engagement in PPKn learning is still a significant problem. This study aims to investigate the effect of gamification in PPKn learning on improving high school students' civic knowledge and skills. This study used an experimental design with the ANCOVA approach, involving three classes in Sumenep, consisting of an experimental class (gamification) and two control groups (positive control with lectures and negative control). The results showed that the implementation of gamification resulted in a significant increase in critical thinking skills, with a value of F (2,26) = 65.14, p = 0.021, and ƞ2 = 0.95. The experimental group had a higher average score compared to both control groups. These findings suggest that gamification can be an effective strategy in improving engagement and quality of PPKn learning. The implications of this study provide insights for the practice of civic education and open up opportunities for further research with larger samples and longer durations.

Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) menjadi perhatian yang mendesak, terutama karena maraknya metode ceramah yang kurang mendorong deep kognitif engagement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah gabungan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif, menggabungkan desain quasi-eksperimental dengan kelompok kontrol non-ekuivalen untuk analisis kuantitatif, dilengkapi dengan studi observasional dan wawancara untuk eksplorasi kualitatif. Penerapan ANCOVA pada analisis data menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, sebagaimana dibuktikan oleh hasil uji F (2, 26) = 65,14, p = 0,021, dengan effect size ?² = 0,95. Hasil uji LSD menunjukkan bahwa skor berpikir kritis siswa yang telah diajarkan menggunakan media AI secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok lain (p < 0,001). Hasil penelitian mendukung hipotesis tersebut, sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh temuan kualitatif. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa AI mendorong keterlibatan siswa secara aktif, refleksi kritis, dan respons analitis. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggabungan AI dalam konteks pembelajaran PPKn kondusif bagi pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis abad ke-21, sehingga menggarisbawahi perlunya adopsi AI secara luas dalam praktik pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Abstract

Korupsi masih menjadi persoalan sistemik di Indonesia yang melemahkan tata kelola publik dan kepercayaan masyarakat. Di sisi lain, pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) pada tingkat SMA sering kali belum optimal dalam membentuk sikap serta perilaku anti-korupsi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menguji model literasi kewarganegaraan berbasis pendidikan anti-korupsi yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap integritas, serta partisipasi kewarganegaraan siswa SMA. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan strategi mixed-methods sekuensial eksplanatori. Tahapan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, validasi pakar, uji coba terbatas, serta evaluasi efektivitas melalui desain kuasi-eksperimental pretest–posttest dengan kelompok kontrol, dilengkapi wawancara, FGD, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model yang dikembangkan efektif meningkatkan aspek kognitif, afektif, dan konatif siswa. Analisis kuantitatif memperlihatkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan antikorupsi, sikap pro-integritas, dan niat melaporkan praktik korupsi, sedangkan data kualitatif menegaskan perubahan norma kelompok serta praktik kelas yang lebih menghargai kejujuran. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi eksplisit pendidikan anti-korupsi dalam kurikulum PPKn serta perlunya dukungan kebijakan, pelatihan guru, dan monitoring berkelanjutan untuk menjamin keberlanjutan model. Temuan ini diharapkan berkontribusi pada penguatan pendidikan karakter dan pembentukan generasi muda yang berintegritas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran pendidikan hukum dalam membangun kesadaran hukum di kalangan siswa di wilayah perkotaan dan pedesaan. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perbedaan kesadaran hukum siswa di kedua wilayah tersebut dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penerimaan pendidikan hukum. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi pustaka, yang melibatkan analisis terhadap literatur yang relevan mengenai pendidikan hukum, kesadaran hukum, serta perbedaan pendidikan di wilayah perkotaan dan pedesaan. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kesadaran hukum siswa di wilayah perkotaan cenderung lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan di pedesaan. Di perkotaan, siswa memiliki akses yang lebih baik terhadap pendidikan dan informasi hukum melalui kurikulum sekolah dan program penyuluhan yang lebih terstruktur, yang membantu meningkatkan kedisiplinan dan kepatuhan terhadap hukum. Sebaliknya, di wilayah pedesaan, kendala akses terhadap pendidikan hukum dan kurangnya program penyuluhan yang terstruktur menyebabkan pemahaman hukum siswa lebih terbatas. Meskipun demikian, penyuluhan hukum di pedesaan memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kesadaran hukum siswa, terutama jika dilakukan secara terus-menerus dan sesuai dengan konteks lokal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan hukum memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kesadaran hukum siswa di kedua wilayah tersebut, namun pendekatan yang lebih relevan dan aplikatif perlu diterapkan untuk mengatasi ketimpangan yang ada. Penyesuaian materi pendidikan hukum sesuai dengan kebutuhan lokal akan memperkuat efektivitasnya

Abstract

Digital transformation in the world of Education has accelerated the change in the teaching-learning paradigm, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic. Teachers now not only act as teachers but also as digital facilitators who must master various technology platforms and online learning media. However, this transition brings challenges in the form of burnout experienced by teachers, mainly due to the imbalance between high job demands and limited resources. This study aims to understand the experience of teacher burnout in the digital transition period, the factors that cause it, and its implications for the quality of learning. Using a qualitative approach with phenomenological design, this study involved 15 teachers from secondary schools who actively implemented online and hybrid learning. The main findings suggest that emotional burnout, which is the first dimension of burnout, causes teachers to feel depressed and demotivated. This fatigue then leads to depersonalization, in which the teacher feels separated from the students and focuses more on administrative tasks than on building personal relationships. The main contributing factors to this burnout are technological demands, the digital administrative burden, as well as the lack of adequate technical support and training. The impact of burnout affects the decline in teaching motivation, the quality of teacher-student interaction, and creativity in learning. The study suggests that educational institutions should provide better technical support, continuous digital training, as well as policies to reduce the administrative burden for teachers so that the quality of learning can be maintained in the digital age

Abstract

Limited civic literacy capacity and weak village community governance remain significant challenges to strengthening community participation in various rural areas of Indonesia. This situation was also found in Duko Village , Arjasa District , Sumenep Regency , which is characterized by low understanding among officials and the community regarding digital literacy, village profile documentation, and participatory governance practices. This community service activity aims to increase civic literacy capacity and strengthen community governance through structured and collaborative mentoring. The implementation method uses a participatory action approach, including needs assessment , citizenship and digital literacy training, assistance in preparing village profiles, and facilitating improvements to community governance mechanisms. The results of the community service show a significant increase in the community's ability to compile and update village profiles, an increased understanding of substantive citizenship values, and the formation of more focused coordination and accountability practices within village organizations. The implications of this activity confirm that a mentoring model based on participation, literacy, and cross-stakeholder collaboration can be an effective strategy in strengthening community capacity and supporting sustainable village development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis relevansi Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan terhadap reformasi administrasi publik di Kota Malang, dengan fokus pada dimensi nilai, etika, dan kesadaran kewarganegaraan aparatur negara. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode normatif-empiris melalui studi kepustakaan, analisis dokumen kebijakan, serta wawancara mendalam dengan aparatur sipil negara dan akademisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa reformasi administrasi publik di Kota Malang masih didominasi oleh pendekatan struktural dan teknokratis sementara integrasi nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan dalam pembinaan aparatur belum dilakukan secara sistematis. Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan terbukti memiliki peran penting sebagai fondasi normatif dalam membentuk etika pelayanan, tanggung jawab publik, dan orientasi aparatur terhadap kepentingan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan reformasi administrasi publik memerlukan integrasi Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan sebagai bagian dari strategi pembangunan sumber daya manusia aparatur guna mewujudkan birokrasi yang demokratis, berintegritas, dan berkelanjutan.
