Abstract

This study aims to determine how the compressive strength of bamboo rope and bamboo Ampel due to termite attack. Where the research was conducted in the Laboratory Test Material Arboretum State University of Jakarta and Bogor Institute of Agriculture in October 1, 2016 - January 30, 2017. This research method using bamboo direct compressive strength testing in the laboratory. In the present study used two types of bamboo, the bamboo rope and bamboo Ampel totaling 40 samples. The total sample of each type of bamboo has the number of 20 samples. According to the position at the base and middle of each totaling 10 samples. For each position there are two treatments, bamboo fed and not fed termites, which amounted to 5 samples. Research conducted compressive strength based on ISO 22 157: 2004. The results showed that the value of the average compressive strength of bamboo and bamboo Ampel rope at the base position and center fed termites decreased from bamboo which is not fed termites. At the base of bamboo straps that are not fed termites of 54.688 kN / cm2.While at the base of bamboo rope that is fed termites of 50.729 kN / cm2.In the central part of bamboo straps that are not fed termites of 54.532 kN / cm2.While on the bamboo rope is fed termites central part of 53.583 kN / cm2.At the base of bamboo Ampel termites were not fed for 51 096 kN / cm2.While at the base of bamboo Ampel were fed termites of 47.084 kN / cm2.In the mid-section of bamboo Ampel not fed termites of 45.559 kN / cm2.While on bamboo Ampel the center that is fed termites of 37.702 kN / cm2.Thus the average value of the weight loss bamboo rope the base that is equal to 8.0% smaller than in the bamboo Ampel the base is equal to 15.1%. While the average value of the weight loss bamboo rope central part that is equal to 12.6% smaller than in the central part of the bamboo Ampel of 14.0%. The average value of compressive strength greater than the bamboo rope bamboo Ampel. This is because the content of starch in the lower rope bamboo from bamboo Ampel. In terms of weight loss (weight) of bamboo seen that the entire sample to lose weight. This is mostly due to termite attack on bamboo. Abstract

Innovation in floor plate methods has been developing nowadays, one of the methods is the precast method. However, this method cannot behave monolithically with other structures so that the deflection does not meet the permit. To overcome this problem then the half-slab plate innovation comes with a combination of precast and conventional method for the topping. This study discusses the ratio of half-slab and conventional floor plate capacity based on the thickness variation. The capacity analysis covers the bending moment, shear force, deflection and stress due to gravity loads. The total thickness of plate was 120 mm and 130 mm, with the three thickness variations which were the precast is thicker than the topping, the topping is thicker than the precast, and the topping is equal to the precast. The results show that the half-slab plate capacity is 8 to 20 times larger than the conventional plate, due to the lifting and shoring forces. In addition, the variations in the topping and precast thickness affect the value of half-slab capacity, which is the thicker the precast the greater the capacity. Adding thickness every 5 mm could increase the moment capacity by 1,58-7,14%, the shear capacity by 1,61-7,14%, the deflection by 1,69-2,08% and could decrease the normal voltage by 1,76%. So the good variation in the half-slab plate thickness is the plate with the precast thickness which is smaller than the topping thickness. From the two types of plates, plates with a thickness of 130 mm have the capacity 4 to 8 times larger than 120 mm. This is influenced by the lift point placement, shoring plots and a larger 130 mm plate width. Keywords: floor plate capacity, half-slab, thickness variation

Abstract

This study analyzes the critical thinking tendencies of students with physical disabilities in mathematics learning at SMA-LB Negeri 3 Yogyakarta using a Grounded Theory approach. A qualitative method was applied, with data collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The results indicate that 80% of students exhibit positive critical thinking tendencies, while 20% face internal challenges such as shyness, lack of confidence, and difficulty in collaboration. The main factors influencing critical thinking tendencies include the role of teachers, student participation, and classroom conditions. Teachers who implement interactive learning strategies, such as discussions and cooperative learning, play a crucial role in motivating students. A comfortable learning environment and adequate facilities also support the development of students' critical thinking skills. This study concludes that interactive teaching strategies and a conducive learning atmosphere are key to fostering students' critical thinking tendencies.

Abstract

Paving block merupakan material perkerasan permukaan tanah yang dibuat dari campuran semen, agregat, dan air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik paving block dengan menggunakan HDPE dan Fly Ash sebagai bahan substitusi pasir, serta mengevaluasi kesesuaiannya terhadap SNI 03-0691-1996. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental dengan benda uji berukuran 20 x 10 x 6 cm. Substitusi agregat halus dilakukan menggunakan campuran HDPE dan Fly Ash dengan variasi persentase sebesar 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% dan 20%. Pengujian meliputi pengujian kuat tekan, ketahanan aus, penyerapan air dan ketahanan natrium sulfat. Pengujian dilakukan pada umur 28 hari sesuai dengan ketentuan SNI 03-0691-1996. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan HDPE dan Fly Ash pada proporsi tertentu mampu meningkatkan mutu paving block. Nilai kuat tekan tertinggi diperoleh pada variasi 15% sebesar 26,667 MPa. Seluruh variasi memenuhi mutu B untuk kuat tekan, ketahanan aus memenuhi mutu A, sedangkan penyerapan air menunjukkan mutu B dan C tergantung variasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian standar sarana dan prasarana kompetensi keahlian DPIB terhadap Permendikbud Nomor 34 Tahun 2018 tentang Standar Nasional SMK/MAK dan terhadap BSNP mengenai instrumen verifikasi untuk penyelenggaraan ujian praktik kejuruan di SMKN 56 Jakarta dan SMKN 35 Jakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dan dokumentasi. Tingkat kesesuaian SMKN 56 Jakarta pada sarana ruang kelas sebesar 75% (sesuai), dan prasarananya 50% (kurang sesuai), sarana ruang praktik komputer 45,83% (kurang sesuai), ruang praktik desain masinal 54,55% (sesuai) dan prasarananya 32,14% (kurang sesuai). Tingkat kesesuaian SMKN 35 Jakarta pada sarana ruang kelas sebesar 75% (sesuai) dan prasarananya 50% (kurang sesuai), sarana ruang praktik komputer 58,3% (sesuai) dan prasarananya 25% (sangat kurang sesuai). Tingkat kesesuaian kondisi fisik SMKN 56 Jakarta pada sarana ruang kelas sebesar 75% (sesuai), ruang praktik komputer 45,83% (kurang sesuai), ruang praktik desain masinal 44,3% (kurang sesuai). This research method is utilizing descriptive quantitative. Information assortment procedures of this examination are by doing observation and documentation. The suitability level of class room facilities on SMKN 56 Jakarta is 75% (suitable), and infrastructure is 50% (less suitable), computer practice room facilities is 45,83% (less suitable), masinal design room is 54,55% (suitable), and infrastructure is 32,14% (less suitable). The suitability level of class room facilities on SMKN 35 Jakarta is 75% (suitable), and infrastructure is 50% (less suitable), practice room facilities is 58,3% (suitable), and infrastructure is 25% (very less suitable). The suitability level of the physical condition of class room facilities on SMKN 56 Jakarta is 75% (suitable), computer practice room facilities is 45,83% (less suitable), and masinal design room is 44,3% (less suitable). The suitability level of the physical condition of class room facilities on SMKN 35 Jakarta is 75% (suitable), practice room facilities is 57,1% (suitable).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesesuaian kurikulum Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan di UNJ dengan kurikulum Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Kompetensi Keahlian Konstruksi Gedung, Sanitasi dan Perawatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang menyajikan hasil data sesuai dengan kenyataan yang ada dengan menggunakan mixed method. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang bersumber dari: (1) Koordinator Program Studi S1 PTB UNJ berupa Rancangan Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) mata kuliah prodi; (2) Ketua Jurusan SMK Kompetensi Keahlian KGSP berupa buku KI/KD. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat kesesuaian antara kurikulum prodi S1 PTB UNJ dengan kurikulum SMK kompetensi keahlian KGSP. Dapat dilihat dari tingkat persentasenya yaitu: (1) Mata pelajaran konstruksi bangunan gedung sebesar 72,4%; (2) Mata pelajaran sistem utilitas bangunan gedung sebesar 55,5%; (3) Mata pelajaran perawatan gedung sebesar 100%; (4) Mata pelajaran estimasi biaya konstruksi, sanitasi dan perawatan sebesar 65,4%; (5) Mata pelajaran produk kreatif dan kewirausahaan sebesar 30%. Dan hasil dari kuesioner mahasiswa PTB UNJ didapatkan tingkat persentase kesesuaiannya yaitu: (1) Mata pelajaran konstruksi bangunan gedung sebesar 75,8%; (2) Mata pelajaran sistem utilitas bangunan gedung sebesar 48,1%; (3) Mata pelajaran perawatan gedung sebesar 62,2%; (4) Mata pelajaran estimasi biaya konstruksi, sanitasi dan perawatan sebesar 80,7%; (5) Mata pelajaran produk kreatif dan kewirausahaan sebesar 34,9%.Compatibility between the Curriculum of the UNJ Building Engineering Education S1 Study Program and the Vocational School Curriculum Competency of Sanitation and Maintenance Building Construction SkillsAbstractThis study aims to determine the level of conformity of the curriculum of the Undergraduate Building Engineering Education Study Program at UNJ with the Vocational High School curriculum for the Competency of Building Construction, Sanitation and Maintenance Skills.This research is a descriptive qualitative research that presents data results in accordance with the existing reality using a mixed method. The data used in this study are secondary data sourced from: (1) the PTB UNJ Undergraduate Study Program Coordinator in the form of Semester Learning Design (RPS) for study program courses; (2) The head of the KGSP Skills Competency SMK Department is in the form of KI / KD books.The results of this study indicate that there is a match between the PTB UNJ S1 study program curriculum with the KGSP expertise competency vocational curriculum. It can be seen from the percentage level, namely: (1) Building construction subjects of 72.4%; (2) Subject of building utility system by 55.5%; (3) Building maintenance subject at 100%; (4) Subjects estimated cost of construction, sanitation and maintenance by 65.4%; (5) Creative products and entrepreneurship subjects by 30%. And the results of the PTB UNJ student questionnaire obtained the percentage level of the suitability, namely: (1) The subject of building construction was 75.8%; (2) Subjects on building utility systems by 48.1%; (3) The subject of building maintenance is 62.2%; (4) Subjects estimated cost of construction, sanitation and maintenance by 80.7%; (5) Creative products and entrepreneurship subjects of 34.9%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa serta kendala pembelajaran jarak jauh pada mata kuliah Drainase Perkotaan Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan angkatan 2016 dan 2017 yang mengambil mata kuliah Drainase Perkotaan pada semester genap tahun akademik 2019/2020 dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 47 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa terhadap  pembelajaran jarak jauh Drainase Perkotaan cukup baik. Pengorganisasian materi serta pengunaan media, metode serta platform yang digunakan telah sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran meskipun pembelajaran belum sistematis. Mahasiswa telah memiliki fasilitas serta pengetahuan tentang pembelajaran jarak jauh sehingga tingkat pembelajaran telah sesuai. Pendidik telah memberikan sikap positif berupa kesempatan bertanya dan memberikan umpan balik terhadap tugas yang diberikan namun pembelajaran jarak jauh tidak meningkatkan motivasi mahasiswa. Pengalokasian waktu dalam pembelajaran sudah cukup baik dalam pembelajaran maupun dalam mengerjakan tugas. Kendala dalam PJJ Drainase Perkotaan adalah kurangnya interaksi dalam pembelajaran, sinyal yang kurang mendukung dalam mengakses pembelajaran, kurangnya pemahaman materi serta diperlukannya variasi media dalam pembelajaran.Student Perceptions of Distance Learning in Urban Drainage Course in Building Engineering Education Study ProgramAbstractThis study aims to find out the perception of students as well as the constraints of distance learning in Urban Drainage course of the Building Engineering Education Educational Program. This research is quantitative descriptive. The research population is students of Building Engineering Education class 2016 and 2017 who took Urban Drainage courses in the even semester of academic year 2019/2020 with a research sample of 47 students.The results showed that students perception of urban drainage distance learning is quite good. The organizing of materials and the use of media, methods and platforms used are in accordance with the objectives of learning has not been systematic. Students already have facilities and knowledge about distance learning so that the level of learning is appropriate. Educators have given positive attitudes in the form of opportunities to ask questions and give feedback on assignments given but distance learning does not increase student motivation. Allocating time in learning is enough both in learning and in doing tasks. Obstacles in distance learning in Urban Drainage are lack of interaction in learning, less supportive signals in accessing learning, lack of material understanding and the need for media variation in learning.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan media pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Desain Interior di Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang tepat untuk menunjang pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi-materi desain yang bersifat visual dan teknis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket yang disebarkan kepada 50 mahasiswa angkatan 2018–2020 yang telah menempuh mata kuliah Desain Interior. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis melalui uji validitas, reliabilitas, dan deskripsi statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan memahami materi tanpa bantuan media pembelajaran. Media digital dan visual seperti video pembelajaran, animasi, serta e-modul dinilai lebih efektif dibandingkan media konvensional. Selain itu, aksesibilitas media masih menjadi kendala, sehingga dibutuhkan media yang fleksibel dan mudah diakses kapan saja. Mahasiswa juga mengharapkan inovasi dan pembaruan media yang digunakan dalam perkuliahan agar sesuai dengan karakteristik materi dan kebutuhan belajar mereka. Beberapa materi yang dianggap paling sulit adalah gambar teknik, prinsip dan gaya desain, serta elemen pembentuk ruang. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangan media pembelajaran yang lebih variatif, interaktif, dan berbasis teknologi digital.   Abstract: This study aims to analyze the learning media needs in the Interior Design course within the Building Engineering Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The research is based on the importance of appropriate learning media to support students’ understanding of visual and technical design materials. This study employs a quantitative approach using a descriptive method. The research instrument was a questionnaire distributed to 50 students from the 2018–2020 cohorts who had completed the Interior Design course. The collected data were analyzed through validity testing, reliability testing, and statistical description. The results showed that most students had difficulty understanding the course material without the aid of instructional media. Digital and visual media—such as instructional videos, animations, and e-modules—were considered more effective than conventional media. However, accessibility remains a challenge, indicating a need for flexible media that can be accessed anytime. Students also expressed a strong demand for innovation and renewal of learning media to better match the characteristics of the subject and their learning preferences. The most challenging topics identified by students included technical drawing, design principles and styles, and space-forming elements. Therefore, it is necessary to develop more varied, interactive, and digitally based learning media.

Abstract

Sekolah menengah kejuruan di wilayah pesisir masih menghadapi keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana pendukung pembelajaran, khususnya pada fasilitas perpustakaan sekolah. Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada rendahnya pemanfaatan perpustakaan sebagai pusat literasi dan ruang belajar kolaboratif. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan fungsi perpustakaan SMK Yapinuh Muara Gembong sebagai pusat literasi dan pembelajaran melalui program revitalisasi sarana dan prasarana perpustakaan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan secara bertahap melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan, penyiapan perlengkapan perpustakaan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Sasaran kegiatan meliputi siswa, guru, dan pengelola perpustakaan sebagai pengguna utama fasilitas. Kegiatan revitalisasi dilakukan melalui penataan ulang ruang perpustakaan, pengadaan rak buku, meja baca, dan kursi yang mendukung kenyamanan belajar, serta pendampingan pemanfaatan perpustakaan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya perbaikan kondisi fisik perpustakaan yang lebih tertata, nyaman, dan fungsional. Evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan seluruh indikator penilaian berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata antara 3,73 hingga 3,91, yang mengindikasikan peningkatan kenyamanan, pemanfaatan fasilitas, dan kepuasan pengguna. Kegiatan ini disimpulkan berhasil meningkatkan peran perpustakaan sebagai pusat literasi sekolah. Keberlanjutan program memerlukan komitmen sekolah dalam pengelolaan perpustakaan serta dukungan kebijakan untuk pembaruan koleksi dan penguatan literasi secara berkelanjutan.
