Abstract

Dari sekian banyak masalah yang di hadapi salah satunya adalah mereka narapidana yang berada di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klas IIA Tanjungpinang .Dari beberapa pembinaan yang diberikan kepada warga binaan pemasyarakatan, salah satu program pembinaan tersebut adalah pembelajaran dibidang agama islam. Fokus penelitian ini adalahbagaimana upaya pondok Pesantren Al-Hijrah sebagai agen kontrol sosial bagi warga binaan Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klas IIA Tanjungpinang. Untuk mengetahui upaya pondok pesantren Al-hijrah sebagai agen kontrol sosial bagi narapidana di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klas IIA Tanjungpinang dapat dianalisis dengan konsep teori Roucek yang meliputi konsep pengendalian secara institusional, pengendalian secara lisan dan simbolis, serta pemberian reward dan punishment. Adapun hasil adalah upaya kontrol sosial yang dilakukan pondok pesantren Al-Hijrah melalui pengendalian secara institusional terhadap narapidana. Selanjutnya kita dapat melihat upaya kontrol sosial secara lisan dan simbolis. Dan yang terakhir adalah upaya kontrol sosial melalui upaya pemberian reward and punishment kepada para anggota santri. Tujuan diberikan reward adalah agar dapat memotivasi para santri untuk melakukan kegiatan belajar

Abstract

Designing ecommerce website is an important process of creating user interfaces and user experiences or UI/UX for an online platform that facilitates the buying and selling of products or services on the Internet. Many companies have their own e-commerce website to support their business operational. PT Sinar Batam Indo Perkasa as a ke-player in manufacture industry is facing problems with its e-commerce website in term of visual design that need to be improved to attract more costomers. In this paper we discuss how design thinking creative and user-centered approach could be implemented to redesign the visual attract of company’s e-commerce website as an innovative solution. With the utilization of Figma as a web-based graphic design tool, each phase of design thinking approach (empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test) will be described thoroughly to produce the final result, which is an intuitive and functional design of company’s e-commerce website.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze thermal and visual comfort in fishermen's houses on the coast of Leato Selatan Village, Gorontalo City. The research method uses a quantitative approach with direct measurements using digital instruments including infrared thermometers, digital anemometers, digital hygrometers, altimeter barometer thermometer compasses, digital thermocouples, and lux meters. Data was collected from two fishermen's houses as case studies with three measurements taken. The results showed that wood provided better thermal insulation than zinc, while cross ventilation with sea breezes effectively created natural cooling. Houses with optimal orientation and openings were able to meet the natural lighting standard of 200-350 lux, but some interior areas still lacked lighting. The data accuracy rate reached 80% with student comprehension at 85%. This research provides a basis for the development of coastal architectural designs that are responsive to the tropical climate by integrating the local wisdom of the fishing community.

Abstract

Dismenore (nyeri haid) merupakan salah satu keluhan umum yang ditemukan pada perempuan yang terjadi sebelum dan atau selama menstruasi. Namun, permasalahan dismenore dapat menganggu produktifitas pada perempuan serta jika tidak ditangani lebih lanjut akan berdampak pada permasalahan kesehatan yang serius. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor yang mempengaruhi kejadian dismenore pada mahasiswi di Majene. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Jumlah sampel penelitian adalah 99 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah karakteristik responden, status gizi, usia menarche, riwayat dismenore, aktifitas fisik dan tingkat stress, yang dikumpulkan melalui google form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara status gizi (p-value = 0,048) dan tingkat stress (p-value = 0,027) dengan kejadian dismenore. Sementara variabel yang tidak berhubungan adalah usia menarche, riwayat dismenore, dan aktifitas fisik. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah variabel yang berhubungan secara signifikan dengan kejadian dismenore pada mahasiswi di Majene adalah status gizi dan tingkat stress, sementara yang tidak memiliki hubungan signifikan adalah usia menarche, riwayat dismenore serta aktifitas fisik.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of the direct instruction learning (DI) model on the acquisition of fundamental badminton skills in a secondary education context. Specifically, it seeks to determine whether DI enhances students' understanding and proficiency in badminton techniques at the secondary education level. This study aimed to ascertain the impact of the direct instruction (DI) learning model on the acquisition of basic badminton skills among students in class XI IPA 3 at SMAN 6 Jakarta. The research method employed was that of an experiment with a pretest-posttest design. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, with a total of 33 individuals included. Data collection techniques employed observation of non-badminton basic skills, with an increase based on pretest and posttest data of 46.24%. Parametric analysis was conducted, which demonstrated a significant value of 0.000 in the sign test for the research instrument's basic skills test grids. The data analysis utilized an alpha level of 0.05, indicating that the DI learning model affects learning outcomes.

Abstract

Menopause adalah masa terjadinya penghentian menstruasi permanen setelah hilangnya aktivitas ovarium. Peningkatan populasi wanita menopause pada umumnya disertai berbagai masalah yang kompleks sehingga berdampak pada kesehatan dan kualitas hidup yang dialami wanita menopause tersebut. Sebagian besar wanita premenopause di dunia tidak memiliki pengetahuan mengenai menopause, padahal pengetahuan merupakan domain yang sangat penting untuk membentuk perilaku seseorang. Wanita yang memiliki pengetahuan terkait menopause akan dapat memahami dan percaya diri dalam menangani masalah yang timbul saat terjadi perubahan. Program kesehatan yang terkait dengan menopause belum mendapat perhatian serius, pelayanan kesehatan reproduksi wanita di Puskesmas, hingga saat ini terbatas pada pemeriksaan kehamilan ibu, pertolongan persalinan dan pelayanan keluarga berencana. Salah satu cara untuk menyiapkan wanita menghadapi masa menopause Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan perilaku sehat, pemeriksaan kesehatan sehingga tercapainya wanita menopause yang sehat dan sejahtera. Metode kegiatan memberikan pendidikan kesehatan berupa penyuluhan kepada wanita menopause di lingkungan masyarakat mengenai cara meningkatkan hidup lansia menuju sehat dan bahagia melalui prilaku sehat. Pengabdian  masyarakat ini dilakukan pada bulan November 2023, di RW 12 Dinas Sosial. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan, secara keseluruhan wanita menopause hadir sesuai jumlah dan waktu yang disepakati juga terlihat seluruh peserta antusias dan bahagia. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ini mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan lansia untuk tetap produktif, berguna, mandiri, sehingga kualitas hidup wanita menopause tetap sehat dan sejahtera.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the challenges faced by SD Muhammadiyah 6 Surabaya in implementing inclusive education and creating an equal learning environment for both regular and special needs students. The study employs a descriptive qualitative research design to analyze the dynamics of inclusive education, focusing on the interaction between teachers, special needs students, and regular students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation involving school principals, teachers, and parents of inclusive students. The findings reveal that the main challenges faced by the school include limitations in human resources, lack of teacher readiness, and varied student needs. Despite these challenges, the school has adopted various strategies to create an inclusive learning environment, such as assigning specialized assistant teachers, developing adaptive learning methods, and conducting regular evaluations to monitor student progress. Collaborative efforts between teachers, parents, and school administrators play a crucial role in supporting inclusive education. The study concludes that adaptive teaching strategies, consistent teacher training, and strong collaboration among stakeholders are essential in ensuring the success of inclusive education at SD Muhammadiyah 6 Surabaya.

Abstract

Learning media is anything that is used to channel messages or information to the recipient with the aim of stimulating the mind, attention, and interest of learning during the learning process. Therefore, with the development of technology, the world has also developed to follow the changes that occur, especially in the world of education. In the world of education, technology can influence learning media that can support learning activities to be more effective and easier to do. The existence of this learning media application aims to facilitate the learning process and increase efficiency during the learning process, because students only need to access the application to start learning the material that has been provided.

Abstract

Chitinolytic bacteria are microorganisms capable of producing chitinase enzymes that can degrade chitin into N-acetylglucosamine. Chitinase enzyme has many benefits, especially in agriculture it can be used as a fungal biocontrol agent, while in the field of Health the crude extract of chitinase produced by Myrothecium verrucaria can be used to kill mosquito larvae by disrupting the exoskeleton structure of Aedes aegypty (Sembiring el al., 2021). This study aims to identify chitinolytic bacteria found in Moramo waterfall in Sumber Sari village, South Konawe district. The research method used is a descriptive experimental method. Sampling in this study was carried out at three locations of the Moramo waterfall. Isolation of bacteria from the three locations of the waterfall obtained three isolates of bacteria that grew on Nutrien Agar media. On microscopic observation, isolate T1 showed gram-negative bacteria in the form of bacilli, isolate T2 contained gram-negative bacteria with cocci shape and in isolate T3 there were bacteria in the form of gram-positive cocci. The results of the identification of chitinolytic bacteria in Moramo waterfall using the Vitek 2 Compact method showed that at location T1 there was Rhizobium radiobacter bacteria. at location T2 the bacterial species could not be detected by Vitek 2 Compact. Meanwhile at location T3 there was Staphylococcus vitulinus bacteria. The conclusion from the results of the study was that chitinolytic bacteria Rhizobium radiobacter and Staphylococcus vitulinus in Moramo waterfall.
