Abstract

Scientific publication is one of the main indicators in assessing the academic quality of a lecturer and higher education institution. However, many lecturers still face obstacles in improving the quality and quantity of their publications. One solution to overcome this problem is to apply bibliometric methods in scientific research and publications. Bibliometrics is a data analysis technique that allows researchers to identify research trends, scientific collaboration, and the impact of publications. This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of STAI Nusantara Banda Aceh lecturers in scientific publications through bibliometric training. This training includes an introduction to the basic concepts of bibliometrics, the use of software such as VOSviewer and Publish or Perish, and publication strategies in reputable journals. The evaluation results showed that after attending the training, there was an increase in lecturers' understanding of bibliometric concepts as well as increased motivation in writing and publishing scientific articles. This activity is expected to contribute to improving the quality of scientific publications of lecturers and the academic reputation of STAI Nusantara Banda Aceh.

Abstract

This study focuses on analyzing the implementation of the marriage confirmation program in Syamtalira Bayu District, North Aceh Regency. The main problems identified are related to financial resource constraints and the lack of effective communication between program implementers and the community in the success of the program. The main theory used is the public policy implementation theory of George C. Edward III, which emphasizes the importance of resources, communication, cooperation, and implementer disposition in the sustainability and success of a policy. This research methodology uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies with relevant sources, such as the Sharia Court, the Islamic Sharia Office, and the District Office of Religious Affairs (KUA). The results show that the success of the marriage confirmation program is greatly influenced by the availability of stable and transparent funds from the government, the positive disposition of implementing officers, and effective communication between agencies. In addition, good resource management and cross-institutional collaboration are key supporting factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the implementation of tahfiz Qur'an learning, the strategies of TQ-MD teachers in improving the quality of memorization, and the supporting and inhibiting factors of TQ-MD teachers in improving the quality of memorization of the Qur'an of MTs Mu'allimin UNIVA Medan students. This study uses qualitative research methods. The data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The sources of informant data for researchers are the principal of MTs Mu'allimin UNIVA Medan, the vice principal for curriculum, the 9th grade tahfiz coordinator, the tahfiz teacher of the TQ MD program, and several 9th grade TQ MD students. The results of this study indicate 1) the implementation of tahfiz qur'an learning in class 9 TQ-MD is carried out in a structured manner, the implementation is carried out with routine tasmi' activities by applying several variations of methods. 2) TQ MD teacher strategies in improving the quality of students' memorization of the Qur'an are by applying repetition methods (tikrar), routine tasmi' deposits, structured muroja'ah, variations in methods such as halaqah, talaqqi, and memorizing with translation, providing motivation and periodic evaluation, paying attention to time discipline, the existence of rewards and punishments, and collaboration with parents of students. 3) Supporting factors for TQ-MD teachers in improving the quality of students' Al-Qur'an memorization are high student motivation, support from students' parents, a conducive school environment and adequate facilities, and a structured TQ-MD program. Abstract

Objectives – This study aims (1) to determine the strategy in collecting professional zakat funds carried out by Baitul Mal Aceh Tamiang, (2) to determine the implementation of professional zakat fund collection carried out by Baitul Mal Aceh Tamiang Method – The type of research used in this study was descriptive qualitative with a normative-juridical approach, with data collection techniques namely observation, interviews and documentation. Research Results – The results of this study indicate that: (1) the strategy of Baitul Mal Aceh Tamiang in collecting professional zakat funds for private employees in their environment has been carried out properly, namely by providing zakat education for proppective muzzaki (persons who pay zakat), (2) implementation carried out by Baitul Mal, namely by forming a special zakat collection unit for private employees to make it easier for muzakki to pay their zakat obligations. Limitations – This study has limitations in terms of the relatively small number of research subjects, then the research subjects are people who consistently pay professional zakat. Practical Implications – As a practical implication, the results of this study can be used as a reference by the government, especially zakat institutions in encouraging professional zakat fund collection strategies that are in accordance with the behavior of the community in paying professional zakat.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the experiences of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in facing multicultural challenges at MA Al Wardah Tembung. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that PAI teachers successfully manage student diversity through empathetic, inclusive, and contextual approaches. They instill the values of tolerance, brotherhood, and religious moderation, creating a harmonious learning atmosphere. Diversity in the school becomes a potential strength that enriches the learning process and shapes students’ open-minded and respectful character.

Abstract

This study examined the effectiveness of Quizizz, a gamified digital learning platform, in enhancing students’ reading comprehension of descriptive texts at Junior high school in Langsa. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test, the study involved 47 ninth-grade students divided into experimental and control groups. Statistical analysis conducted with SPSS version 25 revealed a significant improvement in the experimental group's mean reading comprehension score from 48.88 in the pre-test to 64.42 in the post-test, with an average gain of 15.54, compared to the control group's smaller gain of 7.00 (pre-test mean = 46.67, post-test mean = 53.67). The independent t-test confirmed a statistically significant difference between the groups (p = 0.000 < 0.05). These results underscore that Quizizz not only improves reading comprehension outcomes but also cultivates a more engaging and student-centered instructional environment. It is recommended that educators integrate Quizizz as an innovative instructional tool to foster student engagement and optimize reading comprehension proficiency.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the suboptimal empowerment of female melinjo emping artisans in Gampong Kandang, Kembang Tanjong District, Pidie Regency, which is characterized by limited access to capital, the use of traditional production technology, and marketing that is still dependent on collectors, resulting in low welfare improvements for female artisans. The focus of this study is directed at the empowerment of female melinjo emping artisans based on Hasdiansyah's community empowerment theory which includes the dimensions of education and training, access to capital, infrastructure, and entrepreneurship promotion, as well as obstacles faced in the empowerment process. This study aims to analyze the empowerment of female melinjo emping artisans in improving welfare and identify obstacles faced in its implementation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with informants consisting of village government officials, related agencies, community leaders, and female artisans. The results of the study indicate that the empowerment of female melinjo emping artisans has been ongoing but is not optimal, which is characterized by unsustainable training and guidance, limited access to capital, inadequate production facilities, and product marketing that has not developed due to limited use of information technology. Key obstacles include limited knowledge, dominant domestic roles, low institutional participation, and unequal economic access. Therefore, women's empowerment requires a structured, planned, and sustainable approach through government support in providing access to capital, advanced training, strengthening business group institutions, and enhancing digital marketing to increase economic independence and family well-being.

Abstract

This study provides a bibliometric and thematic analysis of global research on strategic communication from 1970 to 2025. Using data from Scopus processed with RStudio (Biblioshiny), 3,953 documents from 976 academic sources were analyzed to identify thematic structures, conceptual evolution, and geographic trends shaping this discipline. The results reveal that strategic communication has evolved from a managerial and public relations perspective into a multidimensional, data- and value-based field that integrates digital technology, ethics, and sustainability. Three dominant clusters were identified: (1) digital communication and public engagement, (2) crisis and risk communication, and (3) sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Thematic evolution reveals a paradigm shift from classical public relations (1970–1990) to integrated marketing communication (2000s) and digital sustainability communication (2010–2025). Research trends highlight an increasing focus on social media, trust, CSR, AI, and sustainability since 2015, marking the emergence of a data-driven, ethical communication paradigm. Geographically, the United States and Western Europe dominate publication output, but growing contributions from Asia—especially China and India—reflect a more diverse, multipolar academic landscape. This study provides theoretical and practical insights for developing globally adaptive and ethically grounded strategic communication frameworks.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan instrumen pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang mampu mengukur internalisasi nilai secara sistematis, khususnya nilai-nilai Aswaja An-Nahdliyah. Selama ini, evaluasi pembelajaran PAI cenderung berfokus pada aspek kognitif dan belum secara optimal mengakomodasi dimensi afektif dan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen pembelajaran PAI berbasis nilai Aswaja An-Nahdliyah melalui pendekatan studi literatur guna menghasilkan instrumen yang valid secara konseptual. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan analisis isi terhadap berbagai sumber ilmiah yang relevan dalam tujuh tahun terakhir. Proses pengembangan instrumen meliputi penentuan konstruk, operasionalisasi indikator, penyusunan kisi-kisi, dan perumusan butir angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen yang dikembangkan terdiri atas 4 konstruk utama (tawasuth, tawazun, i’tidal, dan tasamuh), 8 indikator, dan 18 butir pernyataan angket berbasis skala Likert. Instrumen ini memiliki validitas isi yang kuat karena disusun berdasarkan sintesis literatur yang komprehensif. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa instrumen yang dihasilkan layak secara teoretis dan siap untuk diuji cobakan pada penelitian lanjutan.
