Abstract

Empowering communities is key to strengthening local participation and voice, especially in areas facing socio-economic challenges. The purpose of this community dedication activity is to explore a multidisciplinary strategy in empowering communities in Songkhla, Thailand, which is part of the IMT-GT region. Through a qualitative approach, the study analyzes the challenges faced by communities at Songkhlas and identifies various effective empowerment strategies. The results show that its main challenges include the lack of natural resource protection, limited community capacity, and weak coordination among stakeholders. The recommended empowerment strategies include strengthening community capacities through training and support, enhanced partnership and coordination between stakeholder, and the protection of natural resources through environmentally-conscious policies. The findings in this activity highlight the importance of a multidimensional approach in empowering communities in border regions, by involving various stakeholders to inclusive and equitable development

Abstract

Advances in digital technology have had a significant impact on human life, including in the field of education, which has undergone significant changes. Technological advances in education have given rise to various new innovations to support the learning process. Interactive learning media that are in line with current technological developments have a significant impact on learning systems, providing many benefits. However, problems can arise in any school where students feel bored during learning because the learning system is considered to be non-interactive and still uses print media. Therefore, the researcher developed a type of teaching material that can be used by students, namely a learning module for the IPAS subject. One of the digital modules referred to is Flipbook. The use of Flipbook is similar to the use of e-books, but the advantage of Flipbook is that it can be opened page by page like a book and can be accompanied by audio, text, and images, as well as other media such as Augmented Reality (AR). This research uses the ADDIE method, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation, but this research is limited to the Development stage only. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and validation tests with media experts and subject matter experts. The platform used to design the Flipbook is Canva, and the 3D Augmented Reality element is created using the Heyzine flipbook.Based on the assessments of media experts and subject matter experts, the results from media experts, namely lecturers and digital classroom teachers in IPAS subjects, were 94%, and the assessments from both subject matter experts, namely IPAS teachers at MIN 20 Aceh Besar were 92%. Therefore, it can be concluded that according to both aspects of the assessment, the Flipbook media is “Highly Suitable” for use by students in classroom learning.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pengembangan model pelatihan literasi digital dan keamanan siber yang adaptif bagi generasi muda dan orang tua, berdasarkan studi kebutuhan di Aceh serta pembelajaran dari komunitas urban Ramindra Rd., Bangkok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif eksploratif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil studi di Aceh menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan pemahaman antara generasi muda dan orang tua terkait penggunaan teknologi serta rendahnya kesadaran terhadap risiko keamanan digital, terutama dalam keluarga yang aktif menggunakan media sosial. Sementara itu, komunitas di Ramindra Rd. Bangkok menunjukkan praktik pelatihan berbasis komunitas yang inklusif, berbasis pengalaman, dan mudah diakses oleh lintas generasi. Berdasarkan kedua temuan tersebut, dirumuskan sebuah model pelatihan adaptif yang menggabungkan pendekatan berbasis konteks lokal, pembelajaran intergenerasional, serta metode partisipatif. Model ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan untuk meningkatkan ketahanan digital masyarakat di era transformasi digital yang semakin cepat.

Abstract

Masyarakat Sambutan banyak mengelola Lembo (kebun hutan) yang merupakan salah satu pemanfaatan lahan secara tradisional dimana umumnya didominasi oleh vegetasi dan buah-buahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis dan manfaat yang diperoleh dalam pengelolaan pohon buah hutan. Metode analisis deskrirtif kualitif dengan wawancara kepada responden 0-10%. Hasil yang didapat jenis buah durian (Durio zibethimus), kedondong (Spodias dulcis), kueni (Mangifera odorata), langsat (Lansium domesticum), melinjo (Gnentum gnemon), nangka (Arthocarpus interger), pisang (Musa Paradisiaca), rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum), sirsak (Annona muricata), sukun (Artocarpus communis), jambu air (Eugenia aquea). Pinang (Areca catechu), kelapa (Cocos mucifera), aren (Arenga pinnata), bamboo (Bambusa vulgaris), kopi (Coffea sp), kemiri (Aleurites moluccana). Manfaatnya sebagai pangan, pendapatan, obat, pewarna pakaian, bahan bangunan, dan bahan bakar. Pengelolaan pohon buah hutan di Lembo dengan melakukan kegiatan mengelola lahan antara lain (a) pemilihan lahan yaitu, dinilai masih sangat sederhana dengan melihat dari penampakan hutan, tajuknya hijau, sangat rapat dan lebat serta keadaan tanah yang berwarna gelap (b) penyiapan lahan yaitu, penebasan semak belukar, penebangan pohon, pencincangan batang atau ranting, pembakaran, dan sisa pembakaran dijadi abu sebagi pupuk tanah (c) pembibitan yaitu, bibit tidak dibeli melainkan didapat dari hutan atau permudan alam (d) penanaman yaitu, dilakukan dengan sengaja atau tidak sengaja (e) pemeliharaan yaitu, tidak ada pemeliharaan yang intensif (f) pemanenan yaitu, hasil pemanenan dinikmati setahun sekali (g) peremajaan yaitu, tanaman yang tidak produktif diganti.
