Abstract

Abstract : One of the problems faced in Indonesia is the weakness of the learning process where currently students are not encouraged to develop their thinking skills, and learning in class is only directed at memorizing information without being required to understand what they remember. One way that is considered to be able to overcome problems in the teaching and learning process is by applying the SQ3R cooperative model (survey, question, read, recite, review). This study aims to describe and find out the differences in students' mastery of concepts using the SQ3R cooperative model and conventional learning. The type of research used was a Quasi Experiment with a Posttest Only Design, namely using one experimental class and one control class. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The sample in this study were students of SMPN 6 Siak Hulu with class VII 4 as the experimental class and class VII 5 as the control class. The research data was collected by giving a test in the form of a posttest which totaled 10 questions which were analyzed descriptively and to see the increase in students' mastery of concepts using SPSS 23 as an inferential analysis. The results of the research from the descriptive and inferential analysis showed that there was a difference in the students' mastery of the concepts in the experimental class and the control class, the average score of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class. It can be concluded from this study that the SQ3R cooperative model can improve students' mastery of concepts at SMPN 6 Siak Hulu.Keywords: Concept Mastery, SQ3R Cooperative model, Solar System.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe and find out the differences in cognitive learning outcomes in classes that apply learning using laboratorium virtuals, PhET Simulation and the Physics Classroom, as an experimental class compared to a class that applies conventional learning as a control class. The type of research used is quantitative with the Quasi Experimental research method and the Nonequivalent Post-test Control Group Design research design. This research was conducted at SMP N 42 Pekanbaru by using cognitive learning outcomes tests on the Light subject. The cognitive learning outcomes test consists of 20 multiple choice questions based on cognitive level according to Bloom's taxonomy revision. The data in this study were in the form of achievement scores of students' cognitive learning outcomes after being given treatment which were analyzed descriptively. Furthermore, differences in cognitive learning outcomes were analyzed using the SPSS version 25 application for inferential analysis. Based on the descriptive analysis and inferential analysis of the data, the cognitive learning outcomes of the experimental class students were 71.76, while the control class was 53.59. Thus it can be concluded that learning using laboratorium virtuals, PhET Simulation and the Physics Classroom, has an influence on the cognitive learning outcomes of students at SMP N 42 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Virtual laboratory, PhET Simulation, the Physics Classroom, Cognitive Learning Outcomes, Light Subject

Abstract

Abstract: Animated video as a learning media is a learning media that packs animated videos into powerpoint media. In addition to animated videos, on powerpoint media there are also learning tools to support learning media. Animated video as a learning media in this study was developed on the material of Harmonic Vibration in SMA. The purpose of this research is to produce animated videos as a valid learning media and can be used for teaching and learning physics in SMA on Harmonic Vibration material. This research is expected to make it easier for students to understand the concept of harmonic vibrations. In addition, this media is expected to make it easier for teachers to convey the lessons taught to students, especially in understanding the concept of Harmonic Vibration in SMA. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model. This research is only limited to the development stage. The research instrument used in this study was the media validation assessment sheet and the materials used by the validator to assess the feasibility of using animated videos as learning media for teaching and learning activities. Data analysis in this study used quantitative data analysis, by calculating the average validity score of each validity indicator. The results showed that the animated video as a learning media was declared valid with an overall average score of 3.35 with a very good category, so it was declared feasible to be used in teaching and learning physics on harmonic vibration material in SMA.Key Words : Animated Video, Learning Media, Harmonious Vibration

Abstract

Abstract : Science learning in junior high schools still uses traditional learning which places the teacher as the center (teacher centered) dominated by the lecture method. Students active in the class, the learning cycle 5e learning model is used with the help of a talking stick game. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in student learning outcomes with classes that apply the learning cycle 5e learning model with conventional learning models. The type of research used is Quasy Experimental with Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The samples in this study were students of SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Pekanbaru class VII.1 as the control class and class VII.2 as the experimental class consisting of 46 people. The data collection instrument was in the form of a learning achievement test which consisted of 10 multiple questions on temperature and heat. The data analysis used was descriptive analysis through cognitive learning outcomes and inferential analysis through normality, homogeneity, and independent T-test tests with the help of SPSS version 23. The results of this study were taken from descriptive analysis, namely the post-test score was found to be 76.08 with good category and inferential (sig) 0.008 <0.05 so that Ho is rejected, meaning that there are differences in cognitive learning outcomes of students between the experimental class and the control class. So it can be concluded that descriptive and inferential analysis can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Pekanbaru students.Keywords :Model Learning Cycle 5e, Talking Stick Game, Cognitive Learning Outcomes, Temperature and Heat

Abstract

This research ismotivated by theproblem that hospitals still have minimal knowledge of environmental accounting because it is relatively new and thereis no specific report regardingenvironmental accounting at the RumahSakit Umum Daerah PasamanBarat. The aim ofthis research is to determinethe application of environmental accounting based on Hansen and Mowen's theory at the Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Pasaman Barat in 2022.The dataanalysis method inthis research uses descriptivequalitative analysis. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. The analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are that at the Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Pasaman Barat, in allocating environmental costs, there areseveral things thatare in accordance withPSAK 2015 No.1, namely Identification, Recognition and Measurement, but there are still severalthings that are notin accordance withPSAK 2015 No. 1, namely Presentation of Financial Reports and Disclosure of Financial Reports. The environmental cost categories allocated by the Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Pasaman Barat are appropriate based on Hansen and Mowen's theory, this is proven by the expenditure of appropriate waste-related costs based on theclassification of environmental accountingcosts based on Hansen andMowen's theory, namely prevention costs, detection costs, costs internalfailure, and externalfailure costs.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the decline in gold savings in the last four years due to: the value of gold which is currently getting higher, and Covid which occurred in mid-2020. Furthermore, people's needs are increasing and increasing so the ability to buy gold is low. To find out the analysis of the implementation of promotions as a strategy in increasing the number of pawnshop gold savings customers. This research uses a qualitative method using a descriptive approach. The types of data used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The data collection techniques used by researchers are interviews, observation and documentation with customers and employees of PT.Pegadaian Syariah Gobah Pekanbaru Riau. Data processing techniques with data reduction, data editing, data description and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of promotions is a strategy to increase the number of gold savings customers at PT.Pegadaian Syariah Gobah Pekanbaru Riau, is by using advertising promotions in introducing pawnshop gold savings products using social media and print media, promotions using online publications using websites is an effort to attract attention or news from the media or the general public for a product. can be widely known, Direct Promotion is carried out to attract potential customers by implementing socialization. Promotion Sales are carried out by providing special discounts or promo codes to prospective customers so that they are interested in pawnshop gold savings products at PT. PawnshopGobah Pekanbaru Riau Sharia Service Unit. By implementing promotional forms well, the goal can be achieved to increase the number of pawnshop gold savings customers and increase public understanding of pawnshop gold savings products and can help the community with economic problems.

Abstract

The creative economy is a form of business that focuses more on people's creativity to create something new or innovate existing goods or businesses so that they have marketability and competitiveness in the market. The existence of the creative economy has a role in creating jobs to accommodate local communities, increase income, preserve culture and encourage export-import. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the creative economy business of the Independent Young Embroidery and Embroidery House in absorbing Muslim workers. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research, data collection methods by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the results of the research, it was found that the role of the creative economy business Rumah Mandiri Embroidery and Embroidery Young has a role in absorbing Muslim workers, which play a role in providing jobs, increasing income, increasing intellectual property, preserving culture, encouraging product exports. The determining factors considered in absorbing labor are labor wages, skills possessed, investment value, and production value.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the application of the Debate Method to improve speaking skills for Senior High School Students of class XII -A in Ulumuddin Boarding School Utenkot, Cunda - Lhokseumawe for academic years 2018 – 2019, and to know students' effectivity after applicating the Debat Methode. This research is classroom action research conducted in 3 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation/evaluation, and reflection. The subjects of this study are senior high school students of class XII-A who are 25 students and the object of this research is speaking skills. Data collection in this study is carried out by the method of observation, interviews, and diagnostic tests. The data are analyzed by quantitative descriptive and statistical analysis techniques. The results showed (1) that the application of the debate Method consisted of the stages of the purpose of Debate method application in the learning process of teaching Arabic, giving titles, limiting the Debate members, making debating rooms in class, searching for information about the title of the Debate, and providing evaluation sheets activities of researchers and students in the application the Debate method, (2) in the application of the Debate Method there is an increase in the percentage of speaking skills of students of class XI -A MA in terms of pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary, and sentence structure. Based on the results of the analysis in the first cycle, the average student's speaking skills are obtained as much as 70% ("medium" category). Then in the second cycle students' skills improved. The average speaking skills of students are 74% ("medium" category). In the third cycle, the average skill of students is 81.4% ("high" category). Based on the results of these studies it can be concluded that the application of the debate method can improve students' speaking skills in terms of pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary, and sentence structure.

Abstract

This title was chosen by the writer because of the absence of particular books for the Arabic conversation of the student as well as an interview with the head of the language center of the school, Dr. Muakhir Zakaria MA. These questionnaires show that the students need certain guidance books used to improve their capability in Arabic conversation. The purpose of this study is to figure out the application of this material design and to measure the effectiveness of the design under the title “The environment of Islamic boarding school” to improve student’s abilities. The writer used the RND method and took the entire students of this boarding school as the population, while the sample is students from class 2D which is 30 students. Moreover, in data collection, the writer does observation, interviews, questions, and tests. The pre-test result of this test is 62% and the post-test 75% and it is more effective for them to use.

Abstract

Vocabulary is the most important element in learning Arabic. In teaching this lesson, the teacher must use suitable teaching methods and image media to achieve the goals of the study, unless it fails. For instance, some second-grade students of junior high school in Fajar Hidayah Islamic boarding school studied vocabulary but some of them could not apply it in oral or written Ta'bir. The main problem is due to the teacher has not practiced suitable methods yet in teaching vocabulary. In order to solve the problem, the researcher applied the method of drill and image media in teaching vocabulary to the students of junior high school in Fajar Hidayah Islamic boarding school. The purpose of this research is to know the students' response to vocabulary learning by applying drill methods and image media and the effectiveness of its application to improve the ability of students in the study of vocabulary. The used method was quasi-experimental designs. The study population is all students of the junior high school Fajar Hidayah and samples are second graders amounting to 22 students. The results showed that students ' responses to vocabulary learning by applying drill methods and image media were very good and the implementation was effective in improving the students ' ability to control the Mufradat in the integrated Islamic School of Dawn Hidayah, evidenced by the T-count value greater than T-table.
