Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the use of interactive multimedia and the mastery of basic volleyball passing skills among 10th-grade high school students in Gresik Regency. The method used is a quantitative correlational approach involving 33 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire on interactive multimedia use—covering aspects from visual appeal to learning motivation—along with field-based physical tests, including the overhead pass test (AAHPER) and the underhand pass test (Brumbach). Statistical analysis was performed using the Pearson Product-Moment method via IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The results showed a correlation coefficient of r = 0.046 with a significance level of 0.800 (> 0.05), indicating no significant relationship between interactive multimedia use and students' volleyball passing skills. The benefits of interactive multimedia tend to be cognitive in nature, helping students understand movement patterns theoretically, while psychomotor mastery of volleyball passing remains highly dependent on the frequency and quality of direct physical practice. Physical education teachers are advised to integrate digital media in a balanced manner with practical field training. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan multimedia interaktif terhadap penguasaan keterampilan dasar passing bolavoli siswa kelas X SMA di Kabupaten Gresik. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan melibatkan 33 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket penggunaan multimedia interaktif yang mencakup aspek kemenarikan tampilan hingga motivasi belajar, serta tes fisik berupa tes passing atas (AAHPER) dan tes passing bawah (Brumbach). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Product Moment Pearson melalui IBM SPSS Statistics 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan koefisien korelasi r = 0,046 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,800 (> 0,05), yang berarti tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penggunaan multimedia interaktif dan keterampilan passing bolavoli siswa. Manfaat multimedia interaktif cenderung lebih bersifat kognitif dalam membantu siswa memahami pola gerak secara teoretis, sementara penguasaan keterampilan psikomotorik passing bolavoli tetap sangat bergantung pada frekuensi dan kualitas latihan fisik langsung di lapangan. Guru PJOK disarankan mengintegrasikan media digital secara seimbang dengan latihan praktik nyata di lapangan.

Abstract

Physical fitness plays an important role in supporting students' participation in pencak silat extracurricular activities. Good physical fitness contributes to the mastery of techniques, training performance, and achievement in sports. Therefore, this study was conducted at SMPN 21 Surabaya to determine the level of physical fitness among students participating in the pencak silat extracurricular program using the Tes Kebugaran Pelajar Nusantara (TKPN). The study employed a descriptive approach with a survey test method. A total of 20 students participated in the research and completed several fitness assessments, including Body Mass Index (BMI), V Sit and Reach, 60-second Sit-Up, 30-second Squat Thrust, and the Progressive Aerobic Cardiovascular Endurance Run (PACER). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean, frequency, and percentage. The results showed that 85% of the participants were classified in the poor fitness category, while only 15% were classified in the moderate category. The average physical fitness score was 2.15, with a standard deviation of 0.366. Overall, the students' physical fitness levels were predominantly categorized as poor. In general, the findings indicate that the physical fitness level of students participating in the extracurricular program at SMPN 21 Surabaya remains low. These findings can serve as evaluation material for developing more structured, measurable, and sustainable physical training programs.Kebugaran  jasmani  berperan  besar  dalam membantu siswa berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler  pencak silat. Kebugaran jasmani yang  baik  mendukung  penguasaan teknik, performa latihan, dan pencapaian prestasi. Jadi, dilakukan penelitian di SMPN 21 Surabaya untuk melihat seberapa fit mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam Pencak Silat sebenarnya menggunakan tes TKPN. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dan metode uji survei. Mereka memiliki 20 siswa yang mengikuti berbagai tes kebugaran. Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT), V sit and reach, sit up dalam 60 detik, squat thrust 30 detik, dan Progressive Aerobic Cardiovascular Endurance Run (PACER). Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif berupa rata-rata, frekuensi, dan persentase. Dari semua peserta, 85% termasuk dalam kategori kurang bugar, sementara hanya 15% yang dianggap baik-baik saja. Skor rata-rata untuk kebugaran adalah 2,15, dengan standar deviasi 0,366. Secara keseluruhan, tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa masih didominasi oleh kategori kurang. Secara umum, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kebugaran jasmani siswa ekstrakurikuler di SMPN 21 Surabaya masih kurang. Temuan ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan evaluasi untuk menyusun program latihan fisik yang lebih terstruktur, terukur, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan aktivitas fisik dan waktu layar terhadap kesehatan mental khususnya pada domain stres dan kecemasan siswa. Penelitian menggunakan desain korelasional untuk melihat keterkaitan serta arah hubungan ketiga variabel. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 41 siswa dari SMA Labschool UNESA kelas 11. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan 3 kuesioner yaitu International Physical Activity Questionnaire Long Form (IPAQ-LF), Questionnaire for Screen Time (QueST), dan Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS 42). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara aktivitas fisik dan waktu layar terhadap kesehatan mental siswa (pada domain stres dan kecemasan). Aktivitas fisik berkorelasi secara negatif terhadap kesehatan mental, dimana semakin tinggi tingkat aktivitas fisik maka kecenderungan stres dan kecemasan akan semakin rendah. Sebaliknya waktu layar berkorelasi secara positif terhadap kesehatan mental, semakin tinggi durasi waktu layar maka semakin tinggi pula kecenderungan stres dan kecemasan siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital learning media on improving elementary school students' basic soccer skills. This study used an experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. This study was conducted at an elementary school in Halmahera Regency. The sample used in this study was class V-a, consisting of 40 students. Data analysis in this study will be conducted by describing the data, testing the prerequisites for analysis, and testing the hypothesis with a t-test. The research instrument is a rubric for assessing students' dribbling skills. The results of the t-test show that all Fh values ​​> Ft (1.68), so Ho is rejected and there is a significant difference. The results show that both image-based learning media and digital learning media contribute to improving the basic soccer skills of elementary school students. To improve the basic soccer skills of elementary school students, digital learning media is more effective than image-based media.

Abstract

Physical Education and Health has learning outcomes for students, one of which is healthy and clean living habits, and there is one factor that influences it, namely the student's interest factor. The condition of students who lack understanding about health so that PHBS must be implemented so as not to affect the quality of life. Interest and health factors may influence these learning outcomes. The study is designed to look at how students' interest in learning PJOK relates to their habits of living cleanly and healthily. It is hoped that the findings will offer useful suggestions, making the learning of PJOK more effective for students. It was conducted using a quantitative method and conducting research through correlations. Sampling using cluster random sampling techniques and drawing lots, so that the sample numbered 104 students, and using a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale as an instrument. The results of data analysis with quantitative descriptive statistics showed that students' interest in learning physical education and health was in the moderate category (46.2%) with students' PHBS being sufficient (32.7%). Additionally, the study findings were assessed using the Pearson product moment correlation test and indicated no discernible association between the variables under investigation. interest in learning physical education and health with clean and healthy living behaviors p = 0.099 (p>0.05). Interest in learning PJOK is not directly related to PHBS, but there needs to be guidance regarding this behavior in PJOK learning, because it can help improve clean and healthy living behavior in class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Duduksampeyan.

Abstract

Students' intrinsic drive to learn and their performance in PJOK (Physical Education, Sports, and Health) courses in tenth grade are the subjects of this research. Using a correlational strategy, the research takes a quantitative approach. A total of 395 students from SMA Negeri 1 Driyorejo make up the population. Using a cluster sampling approach, 70 students were chosen from 11 classes to make up the sample. Data on learning outcomes were derived from students' PJOK scores, and the study instrument was a learning motivation questionnaire that has been validated and demonstrated to be accurate in prior investigations. Because the variables did not follow a normal distribution, descriptive statistics were used to find out how the data was distributed, and inferential statistics were used to draw conclusions based on the data using Spearman rank correlation. C=0.520 (p>0.05) is the correlation coefficient that the data demonstrate. Based on these results, it seems that students' learning outcomes are unrelated to their desire to study. This provides further evidence that variables other than learning motivation, such as motor abilities and instructional strategies, impact PJOK learning results.

Abstract

Volleyball teaching, particularly the underhand passing technique, still faces challenges due to low student engagement in conventional instruction. This study was conducted to determine the effect of implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on improving learning outcomes in the underhand passing technique in volleyball. A quantitative approach was used, employing a quasi-experimental method and a nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects consisted of eighth-grade students divided into two groups: the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group received instruction using the PBL model, while the control group received conventional instruction. Descriptive statistics, tests to identify differences, and learning outcome assessments were used in the data analysis process. The results showed that the average score of the PBL group increased from 7.30 to 16.27, while that of the conventional group increased from 7.37 to 8.73. Statistical tests revealed a significant difference (p-value 0.000 < 0.05), with the PBL group’s N-Gain value at 76.836% (high) and the conventional group’s at 12.000% (low). Based on these findings, the PBL learning model can be considered a more effective method for improving learning outcomes in underhand passing in volleyball compared to conventional learning.
