Abstract

This research is motivated by student learning outcomes which are still low. This research aims to describe the use of the Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create model to improve student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning. This research is classroom action research (PTK) and has four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects are teachers and students. Research data was obtained from the assessment of the Learning Implementation Plan, implementation process, and learning outcomes. Data collection techniques use test and non-test data collection techniques. The research results showed an increase in: a) RPP cycle I with an average of 86.34% (B) and cycle II 95.45% (SB), b) Teacher activity in the implementation of cycle I with an average of 87.49% ( B) and cycle II 96.43% (SB), while student activities in cycle I with an average of 87.49% (B), and cycle II 96.43% (SB), c) Assessment of participant learning outcomes students in cycle I with an average of 73.75 then experienced an increase in cycle II to 90.10. Based on these results, it is concluded that the Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create model can improve student learning outcomes in thematic learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perlunya data valid tentang kemandirian belajar mahasiswa pendidikan guru sekolah dasar selama proses pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemandirian belajar mahasiswa pendidikan guru sekolah dasar selama proses pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitaitif deskriptif dengan metode survei yang melibatkan 100 orang mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa sebanyak 10% mahasiswa memiliki kemandirian belajar sangat tinggi, 47% memiliki kemandirian belajar tinggi, 19% memiliki kemandirian belajar sedang, 15% memiliki kemandirian belajar rendah, dan sebanyak 9% memiliki kemandirian belajar sangat rendah.  Hal ini membuktikan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa memiliki kemandirian belajar tinggi.  Implikasi penelitian ini dapat dijadikan referensi dalam proses pengembangan pembelajaran daring untuk meningkatkan kualitas kemandirian belajar mahasiswa

Abstract

The research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in learning Pancasila education. This study aims to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in Pancasila education learning with the Matrix Type Value Clarification Technique model in Class V SDN 08 Campago Ipuh Bukittinggi City. This research is a Classroom Action Research that uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. Carried out in two cycles, namely cycle I carried out 2 meetings and cycle II carried out 1 meeting. Each cycle includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of class V SDN 08 Campago Ipuh with a total of 26 students. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, tests and non-tests. The results showed an increase in a) Teaching Module cycle I with an average of 85.5% (Good), and cycle II 93% (Very Good), b) implementation of learning in the teacher aspect of cycle I with an average of 81.2%, and cycle II 93.7% (Very Good) while the implementation of learning aspects of students cycle I with an average of 81.2% and cycle II 93.7%, c) student learning outcomes in cycle I with an average of 75 (Fair) and cycle II 88 (Good). Based on these results it can be concluded that with the Value Clarification Technique Matrix Type model the learning outcomes of students in learning Pancasila Education can increase.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of Pancasila education using the STAD cooperative learning model assisted by Canva in class V SDN 03 Gunung Tuleh. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study are teachers and students of class V SDN 03 Gunung Tuleh with a total of 18 students. Data were collected through test and non-test techniques, while the research instruments included observation sheets for teaching modules, observations of teachers, and students. The research results show that the use of the STAD cooperative learning model assisted by Canva can significantly improve the learning outcomes of Pancasila education. In the first cycle, the average score for the teaching module aspect was 85.4% with a qualification of (B), increasing in the second cycle to 95.8% with a qualification of (SB). The implementation results of the teacher and students' aspects in the first cycle obtained the same score with an average of 86.75% qualification (B), increasing in the second cycle to 93.7% qualification (SB). The students' learning outcomes in the first cycle had an average of 69.1 qualification (D), increasing in the second cycle to 87.22 qualification (B). Therefore, the application of the STAD cooperative model assisted by Canva can improve the learning outcomes of students and is suitable to be used in teaching Pancasila Education for grade V at SDN 03 Gunung Tuleh.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a digital assessment using Kahoot! in the Civics education learning of fourth-grade elementary school students that is valid, practical, and effective. The development model used is the ADDIE model which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The developed digital assessment is validated by media experts, language experts, and question experts using a validation sheet in the form of a questionnaire. The practicality of the product is measured through teachers' and students' response questionnaires, while the effectiveness of the product is measured based on the improvement of students' learning outcomes after using the digital assessment media. Trials are conducted at SDN 29 Rantau Batu Pasar, the main research at SDN 26 Bukit Putus Dalam, and the effectiveness test at SDN 04 Lagan Gadang Hilir. The validation results show a validity level of 88% (media), 92% (language), and 88% (questions), all of which fall into the very valid category. The practicality level according to teachers and students is also very high, with respective percentages of 91.42% and 92.6% (trial), 94.28% and 95.8% (main research), and 95.71% and 96% (effectiveness test). The effectiveness results show an improvement in learning outcomes from 73.3% to 85.9%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the digital evaluation based on Kahoot! in Civics Education learning for fourth-grade elementary school students is proven to be valid, practical, and effective for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Speed reading is an essential skill in facing the challenges of the 21st century, particularly in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 which demands efficiency in acquiring and understanding information. This research was motivated by the low speed reading ability of fifth-grade students at SDN 02 Situjuah Gadang. Therefore, the research problem formulated in this study is how the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by the Spreeder application can improve students’ speed reading skills. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of implementing the PBL model in speed reading instruction, analyze the improvement in students’ speed reading skills, and examine students’ responses to learning using the Spreeder application. This research is based on the theories of Dalman and Tony Buzan, who state that speed reading is a trainable skill to increase reading efficiency without sacrificing comprehension. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results showed that the implementation of the PBL model combined with the use of the Spreeder application significantly improved students’ reading speed. All students who initially did not meet the target of reading 100 words per minute in the first cycle were able to reach the target in the second cycle. Thus, it can be concluded that the technology assisted problem-based learning model is effective in improving the speed reading skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

Tantangan utama dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa PGSD adalah memastikan bahwa metode pembelajaran yang digunakan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan belajar yang beragam dan dinamis. Metode Case Method merupakan salah satu metode pembelajaran yang telah digunakan dalam perkuliahan di PGSD FIP UNP. Namun penerapannya belum menunujukkan hasil yang memuaskan sesuai tujuan yang ditetapkan. Kondisi ini memerlukan solusi agar metode case method bisa efektif dalam implementasinya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektifitas pembelajaran menggunakan case method dengan menerapkan manajemen pembelajaran abad 21 untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen dengan pendekatana Pretest-Posttest only control Group Design dengan subjek penelitian mahasiswa PGSD FIP UNP yang dipilih secara acak. Peryediaan perlakuan terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu satu kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas kontrol. Kelas A sebagai kelas eksperimen belajar dengan metode case method dengan penerapan manajemen pembelajaran abad 21, sedangkan kelas B sebagai kelas control menggunakan pembelajaran case method saja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa penerapan manajemen pembelajaran abad 21 menggunakan case method efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa PGSD dengan presentase peningkatan yaitu 20.81%, sedangkan kelas yang menerapkan metode pembelajaran case method saja presentase peningkatan nilai yaitu 5.55%. Berdasarkan hasil temuan penelitian ini terlihat bahwa metode case method dengan menerapkan manajemen pembelajaran abad 21 lebih efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa PGSD pada mata kuliah inovasi pembelajaran berbasis digital dibandingkan dengan menggunakan metode case method saja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik akibat proses pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru, sehingga keterlibatan siswa dalam aktivitas belajar menjadi kurang optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila melalui penerapan model Cooperative Learning tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) di kelas IV UPTD SDN 01 Balai Panjang, Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan non-tes. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari guru kelas sebagai pengamat, peneliti sebagai praktisi, dan 15 peserta didik kelas IV. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada setiap aspek pembelajaran. Nilai modul ajar meningkat dari 85,4% (B) menjadi 95,8% (SB); aspek guru dari 86% (B) menjadi 96% (SB); aspek peserta didik dari 80,75% (B) menjadi 92,3% (SB); dan hasil belajar dari rata-rata 71,33% (C) menjadi 84,68% (B). Dengan demikian, model Teams Games Tournament efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila.

Abstract

This research purpose is to know increase the learning outcomes in integrated thematic used cooperative learning model of Think Pair Share(TPS) type in grades IV elementary school. This research is as a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which acted for two cycles. Each cycle consists of the step of Planning, Actuating, Observing, and Reflecting. The subjects of this  research is student IV Elementary School 19 ATTS Bukittinggi as many as 18 students. The sources of data are collected from the teacher and the student. The main data collection technique used are observation, tes and non tes. Data analysis used are qualitative and quantitative  data analysis. The result of this research showed that used of Cooperative Learning Model of  Think Pair Share (TPS) type can increase the learning outcomes in integrated thematic student of IV Elementary School 19 ATTS Bukittinggi.

Abstract

 This study aims to improve the results of integrated thematic learning using the Problem based Learning model. This research is a classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. Conducted in two cycles, namely the first cycle of 2x meetings, and the second cycle of the 1x meeting. The subjects of the study were 24 students of fifth grade SDN 10 Sapiran Bukittinggi. The research data was obtained from the results of observations and sources of data obtained during learning. The results showed an increase. This can be seen from the average results in the first cycle of meetings 1 and 2, which obtained a class average of 74.46 (K) and the second cycle obtained a class average of 83.12 (B). It was concluded that using the PBL model was able to improve student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in class V. Keywords:
