Abstract

Improving the quality of education is an obligation for every educational institution that wants to continue to exist and wants to produce quality graduates to meet the needs and developments of the current times. However, the obstacle is that educational institutions have difficulty determining what strategies must be done to make quality improvement efforts effective. This study aims to know, analyze, and describe benchmarking as a vocational quality improvement strategy towards SMK PK (Center of Excellence of Vocational High School). This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through observation, interview, and observation. Then, the research data is analyzed through data reduction, data display, verification, and conclusions. The results showed that SMK Negeri 44 Jakarta has carried out benchmarking for two years to improve the quality of education and realize it into SMK PK (Center of Excellence of Vocational High School). SMK Negeri 44 Jakarta carries out strategies from the pre-benchmarking period, the benchmarking process, to the plan after the benchmarking is implemented. This research is expected to guide other vocational high schools that want to benchmark to improve quality towards SMK PK (Center of Excellence of Vocational High School).

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah untuk membuat kegiatan pembelajaran tentang pengolahan sampah organik yang menarik dan menyenangkan bagi peserta didik melalui kegiatan pembuatan eco enzyme yang dilakukan selama 20 Oktober 2023 sampai dengan 25 November 2023. Kegiatan pembuatan eco enzyme ini melalui melalui tiga tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Metode yang digunakan pada tahapan perencanaan ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Tahapan pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan menerapkan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang telah dibuat. Tahapan evaluasi dilakukan dengan refleksi atas perencanaan yang telah dibuat dan pelaksanaan yang telah dilakukan. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan peserta didik dan pendidik TK Johar Baru Jakarta Pusat tentang pembuatan dan manfaat eco-enzim. Awalnya permasalahan di TK Johar Baru Jakarta Pusat yaitu kurangnya penggunaan media barang bekas dan pemahaman tentang pengelolaan dan pengolahan sampah. Kegiatan PKM ini telah menambah pengetahan guru dan siswa TK Johar Baru dalam pengolahan sampah organik dengan kegiatan pembuatan eco enzyme.

Abstract

The research, entitled Efforts to improve the ability to read the Koran through the Iqra 'method of students at TPQ Nurussholihin Pamulang, South Tangerang City, for the 2021/2022 Academic Year. This study aims to determine the learning of the Iqra' method in improving the ability to read the Qur'an of students at TPQ Nurussholihin Pamulang, South Tangerang City, for the Academic Year 2021/2022. In this study, a qualitative research approach was used in order to obtain extensive and in-depth information regarding the ability to read the Qur'an through the Iqra' method at TPQ NURUSSHOLIHIN Pamulang references and triangulation of data. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the efforts made to improve the ability to read the Qur'an through the Iqra' method at TPQ Nurussholihin have the aim of making their students able to read the Qur'an through the Iqra' method and the efforts that have been made to the maximum.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Qur'anic method in learning activities at RA Al-Ma'mur and analyze changes in children's independent behavior after the method was implemented. The study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study were teachers and early childhood at RA Al-Ma'mur. The results showed that the Qur'anic method was implemented through activities to habituate prayer, memorization of short surahs, dhuha prayer, and the delivery of Islamic stories combined with teacher role models. As a result, children showed increased independence in daily activities, the ability to make simple decisions, and responsibility for personal belongings and group assignments. This study concluded that the Qur'anic method is effective as a character education strategy for early childhood.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan ibu-ibu anggota Majelis Taklim Ar Rahmah melalui pelatihan ilmu tajwid dengan mengombinasikan pengetahuan teoritis dan aplikasi praktis. Program dilaksanakan di Masjid Ar Rahmah, Paseban, Senen, Jakarta Pusat, dengan melibatkan 21 peserta. Pelatihan menggunakan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, dan praktik terbimbing selama enam pertemuan. Penilaian menggunakan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur pemahaman dan penerapan kaidah tajwid. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan praktis peserta dalam menerapkan kaidah tajwid, dengan rata-rata skor meningkat dari 38,67 menjadi 70,29, menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 81,77%. Peserta menunjukkan peningkatan kepercayaan diri dalam membaca Al-Qur'an dengan benar dan mengungkapkan kepuasan tinggi terhadap program. Pelatihan juga memperkuat ikatan sosial antaranggota komunitas dan meningkatkan motivasi mereka untuk terus belajar. Program ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas bacaan Al-Qur'an di kalangan muslimah dan memberikan model pemberdayaan masyarakat berkelanjutan melalui pendidikan keagamaan.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in improving eighth-grade students’ problem-solving skills in Social Studies at SMP Negeri 35 Bekasi. The study was motivated by students’ low problem-solving ability, which has been influenced by the dominance of conventional instruction. A quantitative approach was employed using a quasi-experimental Nonequivalent Control Group design involving 62 students, divided into an experimental group taught with PBL and a control group taught with conventional methods. Data were collected through a 20-item multiple-choice test validated by experts and confirmed reliable, supported by classroom observation. The data were analyzed using prerequisite tests, an independent samples t-test, and N-Gain. The results indicated that the experimental group achieved a higher posttest mean score (83.24) than the control group (75.32). The experimental group also demonstrated a moderate N-Gain and outperformed the control group in learning improvement. These findings confirm that PBL is effective as an alternative strategy in Social Studies to strengthen students’ problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an dengan baik dan benar merupakan kompetensi fundamental yang harus dikuasai oleh setiap muslim. Namun demikian, permasalahan rendahnya penguasaan ilmu tajwid masih menjadi tantangan signifikan di kalangan masyarakat, khususnya ibu-ibu yang tergabung dalam majelis taklim. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul pembelajaran ilmu tajwid praktis yang dirancang khusus untuk memfasilitasi proses pembelajaran bagi ibu-ibu pengajian di Majelis Taklim Ar Rahmah, Jakarta Pusat. Metode penelitian mengadopsi model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) yang terdiri dari lima tahapan sistematis. Subjek pengabdian melibatkan 30 anggota majelis taklim dengan rentang usia 35-60 tahun. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan memperoleh validasi sangat baik dari ahli materi (88%) dan ahli media pembelajaran (86%), serta mendapat respons positif dari peserta (92%). Peningkatan signifikan terlihat pada aspek pemahaman kaidah tajwid (45%), kemampuan praktik membaca Al-Qur'an (52%), dan tingkat kepercayaan diri (48%). Program ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam meningkatkan literasi Al-Qur'an masyarakat melalui pendekatan pembelajaran orang dewasa yang mengakomodasi karakteristik, kebutuhan, dan pengalaman pembelajar.
