Abstract

Background: The urgency of developing Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) infrastructure is increasing alongside the need for low-emission mobility and energy efficiency. Objective: This study aims to optimize the determination of EVCS locations using the Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) method. Methods: This method was selected for its capability to find optimal solutions through an iterative population-based approach. Simulations were conducted by limiting the maximum iterations to 1000 to evaluate the impact of iteration numbers on optimization quality. Results: The results show that the ABC method successfully identified the shortest distance from three initial locations to the optimal EVCS locations. In the second simulation, the shortest distance obtained was 0.6420 km, indicating that an increase in the number of iterations correlates directly with the quality of optimization results. Specifically, the optimal distance from the first initial location to the EVCS at Danareksa Tower was 1.7018 km using the ultra-fast charging type. From the second initial location to the EVCS at the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises Building, the optimal distance was 0.6420 km using the fast-charging type. Meanwhile, from the third initial location to the EVCS at PLN UID Greater Jakarta, the optimal distance was 1.1787 km using the ultra-fast charging type. Conclusion: This study demonstrates that the ABC method can deliver accurate results in determining optimal EVCS locations with efficient distances. These findings are expected to support the development of more effective and integrated electric vehicle infrastructure.

Abstract

To enhance system resilience and prevent widespread blackouts from potential disruptions, a structured scheme is needed to reduce the impact of such disturbances. One of PLN's breakthrough initiatives is the activation of Automatic Generation Control (AGC) in the Java-Madura-Bali electricity system. Since the existing Load Frequency Control (LFC) system at Tambak Lorok PLTGU has been inactive for some time, the plant was selected for AGC implementation. This system is managed automatically by the Java Control Center (JCC) Dispatcher through a SCADA control scheme. This study aims to examine the effect of AGC activation on power plant regulation by JCC Dispatchers and to compare the SCADA system performance at Tambak Lorok with that of other power plants. A quantitative method with a descriptive approach was used, relying on SCADA point-to-point testing and real-time load trials with JCC Dispatchers. The results showed that during real-time testing, the Java-Bali grid frequency remained between 50.154 Hz and 49.819 Hz. These findings confirm AGC's effectiveness and support its broader implementation as a reliable solution for maintaining frequency stability and addressing challenges posed by intermittent renewable energy sources.

Abstract

Pemilihan bahan isolasi yang fleksibel atau lentur bertujuan untuk memastikan bahwa isolasi tersebut efektif dalam menahan panas atau dingin, tahan terhadap kerusakan, dan bisa diaplikasikan. Dengan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor tersebut, maka bahan isolasi dalam penggunaannya dapat memberikan perlindungan maksimal terhadap perpindahan panas dan meningkatkan efisiensi energi. Hal ini dapat membantu mengurangi biaya energi dan memperpanjang umur pemakaian isolasi. Hasil dari pengujian kertas isolasi dengan ketebalan 1,04 mm pada keadaan kering menunjukkan nilai rata-rata breakdown voltage sebesar 6,7 kV dan dengan ketebalan yang sama 1,04 mm pada keadaan direndam minyak menunjukkan nilai rata-rata breakdown voltage sebesar 23,82 kV, hal tersebut menandakan bahwa kertas isolasi dengan metode perendaman memiliki breakdown voltage lebih baik dibandingkan kertas isolasi dalam keadaan kering. Pengaruh ketebalan kertas isolasi terhadap tegangan tembus atau breakdown voltage adalah semakin tebal suatu kertas isolasi maka semakin besar juga tegangan tembus yang dihasilkan, hal tersebut didapatkan menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana dimana variabel X berpengaruh terhadap variabel Y dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,998.Kata kunci: transformator, kertas isolasi, tegangan tembusTesting the influence of the thickness of press paper type insulating paper on the transformer to the breakdown voltageAbstract: Choosing flexible or bendable insulation materials aimed to ensure that the insulation is effective in retaining heat or cold, resistant to damage, and can be applied. By considering these factors, the insulation material used can provide maximum protection against heat transfer and increase energy efficiency. This can help reduce energy costs and extend the life of the insulation. The results of testing insulation paper with a thickness of 1.04 mm in the dry state shows an average breakdown voltage value of 6.7 kV and with the same thickness of 1.04 mm in an oil-immersed state shows an average breakdown voltage value of 23.82 kV, this indicates that the insulating paper with the immersion method has a better breakdown voltage than insulating paper in a dry state. While the effect of the thickness of the insulation paper on the breakdown voltage is that the thicker the insulation paper, the greater the resulting breakdown voltage, this was obtained using a simple linear regression analysis where the X variable affects the Y variable with a correlation value of 0.998.Keywords: transformer, paper insulation, breakdown voltage

Abstract

Social justice is an ideal that everyone hopes for. The Quran has ordered to uphold justice in every aspect of life. Therefore, this article will discuss the concept of social justice and then relate it to the Quran so that it can be understood and applied in life. The existence of this research can minimize the occurrence of social conflicts in society, especially those related to justice. This research uses a qualitative method with a thematic analysis approach, the data source obtained from the tafseer Al-Munir, then collects secondary sources by reviewing the sources; from books, theses, journals, articles and papers related to the concept of human justice. Then analyzed thematically based on the explanations contained in the interpretive tafseer of the mufassir. Furthermore, to strengthen the analysis and discussion the author also refers to books, expert opinions and various findings from previous researchers related to this issue and topic. The analysis findings found that justice is not only focused on individual interactions with society, but also interactions between individuals and the Khaliq community and themselves. Damage to justice in one of these elements will create new problems in a person's life. That the concept of justice in the Quran is in accordance with the interpretation interpreted by Wahbah Az-Zuhaili. Apart from that, justice contained in Surah An-Nisa verse 135 regarding the concept of social justice contained in the Quran and the interpretation of Wahbah Az-Zuhaili is upholding justice and working together to help each other, prohibiting taking sides with one party in giving testimony.

Abstract

AeroSolar merupakan pembangkit listrik tenaga angin yang terintegrasi dengan panel surya handal dalam menghasilkan energi listrik efektif. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalis daya listrik yang dihasilkan dari prototipe AeroSolar untuk penerangan di gang-gang kecil. Kurangnya perhatian pemerintah terhadap gang-gang kecil di perkotaan telah mengakibatkan munculnya berbagai masalah yang signifikan. Keterbatasan penerangan meningkatkan resiko keamanan di gang-gang kecil, serta minimnya infrastruktur energi membatasi aktivitas sosial. Salah satu aspek yang membutuhkan inovasi yaitu penyediaan energi, terutama pada daerah perkotaan yang padat dari struktur perkotaan pada gang-gang kecil, namun sering kali mengalami keterbatasan dalam infrastruktur energi yang memadai. Dari beberapa faktor yang dikaji bahwa daya maksimum tenaga surya pada pukul 11.00 siang mencapai nilai 69,84 watt. Sedangkan, pada tenaga bayu menghasilkan daya maksimum pada pukul 11.00 WIB dengan nilai 0,35 watt. Dari hasil perhitungan dan analisis menggunakan sistem hybrid AeroSolar, yang menggunakan teknologi aerofoil dan panel surya terintegrasi dengan rata-rata pemakaian daya sebesar 34,32 watt selama beban bekerja. Dengan waktu yang sama, tegangan yang terukur adalah 13,2 volt dan arus yang terukur pada beban adalah 2,6 ampere menjadi solusi efektif untuk menghasilkan energi listrik secara efisien dan berkelanjutan di gang-gang kecil

Abstract

Pemanfaatan energi terbarukan menjadi semakin penting untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energi yang berkelanjutan, salah satunya Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air (PLTA) jenis mikrohidro. Mikrohidro portable merupakan salah satu solusi inovatif yang dapat menghasilkan energi listrik dengan memanfaatkan air yang tersedia di sekitar kita, seperti sungai atau aliran air kecil. Penelitian ini merancang sebuah mikrohidro portable dan melakukan pemodelan yang efisien dengan mengetahui pengaruh sudut kemiringan turbin dalam mikrohidro portable terhadap kinerja dan efisiensi konversi energi. Metode dalam penelitian ini ialah kuantitatif korelasi dan menggunakan regeresi. Pengujian dilakukan dengan melakukan pengukuran debit air, tegangan dan arus pada setiap sudut kemiringan yang diuji. Hasil pengukuran dianalisis untuk mengevaluasi efisiensi konversi energi dan daya listrik yang dihasilkan dalam berbagai kondisi dengan menggunakan pemodelan phyton. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh hasil dalam pengujian tiap 1 jam nilai efisiensi sebenar 88, 24%. Selain itu diperoleh juga pengaruh kinerja dari generator yang digunakan, sudut kemiringan yang optimal diangka 200. Sedangkan hasil pemodelan dengan variasi sudut untuk kenaikan 50 memiliki tingkat akurasi terbaik dengan nilai Adj. R-squared 0,995 yang berarti sangat kuat pengarunya sudut turbin dengan efisiensi yang dihasilkan. The use of renewable energy is becoming increasingly important to meet sustainable energy needs, one of which is a micro-hydro hydroelectric power plant. Portable micro-hydro is one of the innovative solutions that can produce electrical energy by utilizing the water available around us, such as rivers or small water streams. This study designs a portable microhydro and conducts efficient modeling by determining the effect of the turbine tilt angle in the portable microhydro on the performance and efficiency of energy conversion. The method in this study is quantitative correlation and using regression. Testing is carried out by measuring water discharge, voltage and current at each angle of inclination tested. The measurement results were analyzed to evaluate the energy conversion efficiency and electrical power generated under various conditions using Python modeling. From the test results, the results in the test every 1 hour were obtained with a real efficiency value of 88.24%. In addition, the performance influence of the generator used was also obtained, the optimal tilt angle was 20o. Meanwhile, the modeling results with angular variation for increments of 5o have the best level of accuracy with an Adj. R-squared value of 0.995 means that the influence of the turbine angle is powerful with the efficiency produced.

Abstract

Ketidakseimbangan merupakan suatu keadaan yang disebabkan salah satu ataupun seluruh fasa pada tarnsformator mengalami perbedaan, terjadi dikarenakan besarnya beban pada tiap fasa berbeda. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan adanya arus yang mengalir pada penghantar netral yang menimbulkan terjadinya rugi arus netral, serta kerugian berupa daya yang hilang dan dapat menyebabkan kerugian secara ekonomi. Pada saat dilakukan pencatatan beban gardu distribusi XY, besarnya nilai beban pada tiap-tiap fasanya berbeda, sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya rugi arus netral sebesar 2,03 kW dengan besarnya daya yang hilang sebesar 240844,2367 kW. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan pemerataan beban dengan memindahkan beban pada fasa yang tinggi ke fasa yang memiliki beban lebih rendah menggunakan atau diistilahkan pecah beban. Hasil yang diperoleh besarnya rugi arus netral turun menjadi 0,003 kW dengan besarnya daya yang hilang sebesar 45793,79 kW. Sedangkan pangaruhnya terhadap keandalan diketahui bahwa ketidakseimbangan beban memberikan pengaruh terhadap besarnya rugi arus netral berdasarkan perhitungan nilai koefisien korelasi yang didapatkan bernilai 0,24543558 meskipun termasuk dalam kategori rendah. Dari hasil kajian tersebut bahwa ketidakseimbangan beban dengan menggunakan metode pecah beban dapat menurunkan nilai arus netral dan besarnya daya yang hilang, yang berimplikasi rugi arus netralnya menjadi lebih rendah. Imbalance is a condition created by variances in one or more of the phases in the transformer, which happens because the magnitude of the load on each phase is different. This causes current to flow in the neutral conductor, resulting in neutral current losses, as well as power losses and economic losses. The magnitude of the load value on each phase varies when the XY distribution substation load is recorded, resulting in a neutral current loss of 2.03 kW and a power loss of 240844.2367 kW. To accomplish this, the load must be equalized by shifting the burden from the high phase to the phase with a lower load, a process known as load breaking. The magnitude of the neutral current loss was reduced to 0.003 kW, resulting in a power loss of 45793.79 kW. While it is known that load imbalance influences the amount of the neutral current loss, based on the calculation of the correlation coefficient value obtained is 0.24543558, despite being in the low category. From the results of the study, the load imbalance using the load rupture method can reduce the value of the neutral current and the amount of power lost, which has implications for lower neutral current losses.

Abstract

The development of electric vehicles is growing rapidly, including electric motorcycles as a solution to overcome the energy crisis and reduce air pollution that occurs. One important aspect is when braking and speeding which can affect the current and voltage in the vehicle's electrical system. This study aims to determine how much influence is produced when braking and speed on current and voltage. This research uses a simple regression analysis method using statistical modelling through SPSS. The results showed that there was an influence of braking and speed on the value of current and voltage produced. When braking with EBS variations of 4%, 8%, and 12% the R Square value is 96.40%, 99.80%, and 99.30% of the current. As for the voltage, the R Square value is 93.70%, 72.30%, 87.70%. The braking results of 4%, 8%, and 12% EBS variations at a speed of 10 km/h produce a current of 0.1 A, 0.5 A, 0.8 A and produce a voltage of 77.33 V, 78.47 V, 78.46 V. At the time of speed, the R Square value is 99% of the current and the R Square value is 96.20% of the voltage. Results with a speed of 10 km/h require a current of 13.5 A and produce a voltage of 77.86 V.  This study shows the influence between braking conditions and speed on current and voltage in electric motor vehicles.

Abstract

At PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Palembang, especially the Kenten area in the feeder distribution system, there has been a drop voltage and is almost close to the applicable standard threshold. So preventive efforts are needed so that the drop voltage situation does not worsen. It was recorded that there had been  the highest drop voltage in the Beo feeder by 3.05%, in the Kacer feeder by 2.6%, the Pipit feeder by 2.35%, the Merak feeder by 2.3%, and the Foil feeder by 2.3%. This is a problem that should be able to be improved. In this study, a simulation  of drop voltage  repair will be carried out with the help of  ETAP 12.6 software, which will describe a single line diagram with the results  of load flow analysis in the form  of drops that occur, with the authenticity of the data obtained as the simulation results show the real state of the field. In the simulation of repairing the drop voltage using  the Conductor Uprating  method for the repair of the drop that occurred in the feeder, after the repair was made, the drop voltage that occurred decreased in the Beo feeder by 1.705%, in the Kacer feeder by 1.69%, the Pipit feeder by 1.48%, the Merak feeder by 1.315%, and the Foil feeder by 1.24%.

Abstract

The fossil energy utilization for electricitygeneration is currently starting to be limited because it is predictedthat the availability of fossil energy for the next few decades willrun out. Renewable energy is an alternative energy that can beused to generate electricity. Solar power plant is one of theelectrical energy generators with renewable energy sources thathave been widely used. Solar power plant is a DistributedGenerator that can be applied directly to consumers and it is verysuitable for use in remote areas which currently still use diesel asa fuel for power generation. In this research, the design of a hybridpower generation system between Soalr Energy and Wind will becarried out to replace the use of diesel as a source of electricitygeneration. After the generator design is done, then theperformance test of the hybrid system will be carried out in orderto see the feasibility of the design that has been made. From thetest results, the results of the Hybrid Energy Generator haveefficiencies ranging from 10-12% where this shows that the powerplant system is still said to be unable to work efficiently. Theaverage amount of energy produced from this Hybrid PLT systemis 1,304 kWh per day.
