Abstract

The phytochemical profile of tea beverages under different brewing conditions should be further examined using sensory evaluation to measure preference levels, which are essential for product development. This study aims to comprehensively review the sensory profile of tea beverages with different adjustments to the brewing conditions from recent 10-year publications. This study used the methodological standards outlined in the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Protocols (PRISMA-P) across five databases (Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, ProQuest, and CABI). The Office of Health Assessment and Translation (OHAT) was used for risk bias assessment. A total of 1555 articles were identified, yielding 24 eligible studies. Various brewing conditions were identified in the study, mostly adjusted across three parameters: tea-to-water ratio, brewing temperature, and brewing duration. Preference level quantification is conducted using different hedonic scales with varying point levels, including 3-point, 5-point, 9-point, and 10-point scales. The quality assessment of tea is measured using various standards, including: Chinese national standard for sensory evaluation of tea, Check All That Apply (CATA), Percentage grading system, unstructured quantitative descriptive analysis, and degree of satisfaction difference. It could be concluded that studies about brewing condition in tea are focused on hot brewing and cold brewing with the optimum value of tea to water ration is 1:50. The sensory evaluation of tea from this different brewing condition is mainly conducted by trained panelists using 10-point hedonic scales as quantitative preference level and Chinese national standard for sensory evaluation of tea as a quality assessment method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan studi diversitas melalui analisis numerik fenetik terhadap kromatogram GC-MS minyak gaharu dari genus Aquilaria. Data kromatogram hasil GC-MS 4 spesies Aquilaria yaitu: A. malaccensis, A. crassna, A. sinensis dan A. subintegra diperoleh dari database online dan ditabulasi dalam tabel n x t. Sebanyak 5 indeks similaritas (Simple Matching Coefficient, Jaccard’s Coefficient, Nei & Li Coefficient, Sorensen’s Coefficient, dan Baroni-Urbani Buser Coefficient) dan 3 algoritma klasterisasi (Nearest Neighbor, UPGMA dan Farthest Neighbor) digunakan dalam analisis klaster. Analisis kofenetik kovarian dilakukan untuk menentukan indeks similaritas dan algoritma optimum berdasarkan nilai r sebagai dasar dalam konstruksi dendrogram. Analisis principal coordinate (PCoA) dilakukan dengan menggunakan algoritma Euclidean dan pendekatan Kaiser’s rule sebagai tambahan analisis yang lebih komprehensif. Sebanyak 68 komponen senyawa berhasil ditabulasi dalam tabel n x t yang dikonversi menjadi angka biner untuk analisis klaster. Hasil analisis kofenetik kovarian menunjukkan nilai r terbesar dan sangat signifikan (α=0,05) dihasilkan dari indeks similaritas simple matching dan algoritma klasterisasi UPGMA sehingga kedua parameter ini digunakan dalam konstruksi dendrogram. Topologi dendrogram menunjukkan similaritas yang rendah antar spesies Aquilaria dengan similaritas tertinggi dimiliki oleh klaster A. subintegra dan A. malaccensis. Grafik 3 dimensi dari PCoA juga menunjukkan hasil releven dengan dendrogram dengan plotting keempat spesies Aquilaria tersebar pada 3 kuadran yang berjauhan sehingga menunjukkan jarak similaritas yang juga berjauhan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa berdasarkan analisis numerik fenetik, minyak gaharu dari A. crassna, A. malaccensis, A. subintegra dan A. sinensis memiliki karakteristik fitokimia berupa kromatogram GC-MS yang unik dengan diversitas yang tinggi.

Abstract

Abstrak Masa kehamilan merupakan masa terjadinya perubahan fisik, fisiologis dan psikologis yang signifikan pada wanita. Beberapa keluhan umum selama kehamilan meliputi mual dan muntah (morning sickness), kelelahan, nyeri punggung, pembengkakan kaki, sakit kepala, perubahan suasana hati, kesulitan tidur, dan sembelit. Dalam kesehariannya, ibu hamil lebih memilih mengatasi keluhan-keluhan ringan tersebut dengan terapi holistik komplementer karena dinilai lebih efektif dan minim efek samping. Dalam mengoptimalkan pelayanan sinergis kebidanan, Klinik Bumi Sehat Lombok telah menerapkan pelayanan holistik komplementer untuk mendukung persalinan humanis. Tim pelaksana bekerja sama dengan tim Klinik Bumi Sehat dalam kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mitra dari kalangan ibu hamil, kader dan bidan di sekitar lingkungan klinik sekaligus memberikan pengkayaan materi kelas ibu dan perawatan holistik komplementer pada ibu hamil secara mandiri untuk mengurangi keluhan-keluhan saat masa kehamilan. Metode pengabdian yaitu dengan penyuluhan dan pelatihan praktek pembuatan dan contoh pengaplikasian ke ibu hamil. Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi: 1. survei lapangan; 2. perizinan; 3. pengenalan konsep kegiatan kepada mitra; 4. praktek lapangan; 5. diskusi & interaksi aktif, 6. promosi keselamatan, 7. evaluasi. Setelah melakuan edukasi dan praktek pengolahan dan terapi herbal pada ibu hamil dan dilakukan evaluasi mengenai ketidaknyamanan yang dialami oleh ibu, diketahui ibu hamil sudah bisa mengurangi ketidaknyaman yang dialami. Terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan tentang terapi komplementer tersebut yang awalnya umumnya pada kategori kurang (80.94%) menjadi kategori baik (100%). Kata kunci: hamil, herbal; kelas ibu hamil; pengabdian masyarakat; sasak. Abstract Pregnancy is a time of significant physical, physiological and psychological changes in women. Some common complaints during pregnancy include nausea and vomiting (morning sickness), fatigue, back pain, leg swelling, headaches, mood swings, difficulty sleeping, and constipation. In their daily lives, pregnant women prefer to treat these minor complaints with complementary holistic therapy because it is considered more effective and has minimal side effects. In optimizing synergistic midwifery services, Bumi Sehat Lombok Clinic has implemented complementary holistic services to support humanistic childbirth. The implementing team collaborates with the Bumi Sehat Clinic team in this activity which aims to provide training to increase the knowledge of partners from pregnant women, cadres and midwives around the clinic environment while providing enrichment material for maternal classes and complementary holistic care to pregnant women independently to reduce complaints. -complaints during pregnancy. The service method is through counseling and training on manufacturing practices and examples of application to pregnant women. The activity implementation stage includes: 1. field survey; 2. licensing; 3. introduction of the activity concept to partners; 4. field practice; 5. active discussion & interaction, 6. safety promotion, 7. evaluation. After conducting education and practicing herbal processing and therapy for pregnant women and evaluating the discomfort experienced by the mother, it is known that pregnant women can reduce the discomfort they experience. There was an increase in knowledge regarding complementary therapies, which initially were generally in the poor category (80.94%) to the good category (100%). Key words: pregnancy; herbal; pregnant women's class; community service; sasak.
