Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of students to understand the teaching materials Local Content of Tabot Bengkulu ceremony in class V State Elementary School 52 Kota Bengkulu on 3 aspects of learning outcomes, namely academic skills (cognitive), attitude (affective), and psychomotor skills. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method with percentage technique. The sample in this research is the students of VB SDN 52 Bengkulu in the academic year 2016/2017 which is 25 students. The sample was determined by cluter random sampling technique in the population. The research instrument uses a test sheet. Data analysis technique is done by using learning result test that is adjusted to the value of KKM (Criteria Completed Minimum) subject of Local Content applicable in SDN 52 Kota Bengkulu, that is equal to 67. The result showed that the students of VB SDN 52 Kota Bengkulu have not been able to understand the material Ajar Local Content Tabot Bengkulu ceremony with an average of 73.33% and when viewed from the completeness of learning, students VB SDN 52 Bengkulu City has not been completed because based on the benchmark reference assessment students declared complete if the value is greater or equal to 67 as much as 75- 80%.

Abstract

This research was carried out to find out the extracurricular management of dancing in developing chinestetics intelligence by using Add-On (Linked) method at SD Negeri 07 Lebong Regency. This research was in descriptive qualitative method. The subject of the study amounted to 9 students of the dance members of SD Negeri 07 Lebong Regency .The instruments in this research were guided interview and guided observation. The analysis of data was done by analyzing all data gathered from interview, observation, and documentation in the form of dancing video. The obtained data was analyzed through reducing data, collecting data, and giving conclusion. Credibility testing was through increased persistence, triangulation and member check. The result of the research showed that (1) management related to the planning of extracurricular dance activities is to prepare dance, determine the schedule of practice and make disciplines that are conveyed orally, 2) management related to the implementation of extracurricular dance activities, namely, the use of Add-On (Linked) method in each exercise. This method is implemented gradually so that students can easily memorize dance moves consisting of 17 movements, 3) management related to evaluation is to use four aspects to see the development of kinesthetic intelligence of students. There is an improvement in every aspect of dance practice so that students have been able to develop their kinesthetic intelligence well. The conclusion of this study is (1) on the planning of researchers adding Add-On (Linked) method and planning to practice as many as 6 meetings within 2 weeks (2) on the implementation process of using Ad-On (Linked) method in dance practice has a good effect in developing students  kinesthetic intelligence, while (3) evaluation needs to be done to see the development of kinesthetic intelligence of students every time exercise.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of outdoor learning method by utilizing used goods on learning outcomes in Thematic learning in grade IV SD Group 11 Bengkulu City. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with the design of the study of the matching only pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study is all students of class IV SD group 11 consisting of 7 elementary schools. Based on the homogeneity test results, the sample in this study were the students of grade IV B SDN 44 as the experimental class and the students of class IV A SDN 55 as the control class. The research instrument used is; (1) a matter of objective test consisting of 30 items;(2) attitude observation sheet; and (3) skill observation sheet. Data analysis used is descriptive analysis, prerequisite test and inferential analysis that is t-test. Based on data analysis of research results, obtained the average value of posttest result of experimental class using outdoor learning method that is 72,00 and control class using conventional learning that is 67,50. T-test of both sample classes with significance level ? = 0.05, obtained count = 4,241 whereas ttable = 1,680, tcount > ttable so that H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. The increase of research result percentage in experiment class is higher than control class that is 75,31% in experimental class and control class 64,87%. Thus it can be concluded there is a significant effect of student learning outcomes that follow the learning using outdoor learning method.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the role of parents and schools in extracurricular dance activities in public elementary schools 08 Bengkulu city. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were the parents of students who took extracurricular dance and dance teachers in public elementary schools 08 Bengkulu city. The instruments used are the observation sheet and interview sheet. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed by means of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana models, namely data collection, data condensation, data display and data verification. The results of this study are the role of parents 1. Parents as guides. The results obtained are parents guiding children by training children in dance movements directly during dance practice and mutual respect and respect, 2. Parents as motivators, parents motivate by advising children so that they are more serious when practicing dance, appreciating children with prizes, parents motivate children by seeing children practice dance directly and parents motivate children by paying for the attributes of competitions and performances. 3. Parents as givers of attention, from the results obtained that parents provide motivation by escorting children during training, parents, accompanying children during training and competitions and parents giving attention to children in the form of praise or encouragement. While the role of the school, namely 1. The teacher as a guide includes educating, training and evaluating students' extracurricular training activities 2. The teacher as a motivator 3. The teacher as an evaluator 4. The teacher as an administrative service. The teacher educates students to be responsible, fosters self-confidence, the teacher trains floor movements and patterns directly, the teacher also gives confidence to students for peer tutors and provides criticism and suggestions when students are less focused on dance practice.Keywords: ance extracurricular activities, the role of parents and schools

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning and skills Culture Art Class III SD Negeri 68 of Bengkulu and how student learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects of the third grade students. This type of research is descriptive quantitative techniques percentage. The study population was around the third grade students of SD Negeri 68 Bengkulu City. Samples were students of class III B SD Negeri 68 Bengkulu City. Data were analyzed using a multiplechoice test sheet, and the observation sheet. The results showed that the cognitive aspect there are 17 students from 24 students who are in the category capable with the percentage 70.83%, a category not able to have 7 students with a percentage of 29.16%. On the affective value of students in a category is able to have 16 students with a percentage of 66.67%, the category is not able to have 8 students with a percentage of 33.33%. On the psychomotor aspects of students in a category is able to have 15 students with a percentage of 62.5% and the categories are not able to have 9 students with a percentage of 37.5%. It was concluded that student learning outcomes in these three aspects vary. Students who get good cognitive value, not necessarily getting a good value also on affective and psychomotor.

Abstract

This study aim to determine the influence of picture word card usage towards ability to the vocabulary mastery of Indonesian language in grade I students in Pelabai, Lebong regency. Type of this study is quantitative, research method used experiment. The study design is The Matching Only Pretest-Postest Design Group. The population in this study is all of class I in Pelabai, Lebong Regency which amount to seven student. The technique used in determining sempel is cluster random sampling. The selected sample is class I in SD Negeri 03 Pelabai as the experimental class and SD Negeri 02 Pelabai as the control. The research instrument were use form of test sheet. The data analysis technique used t-test. Based on the results of this study, t count value is 2.5 larger when compared with t table at 5% significant level of 1.69. Thus the hypothesis Ha is proven and accepted. So it can be concluded that there is influence of picture word card usage to the vocabulary mastery of Indonesian language in grade I students in Pelabai, Lebong regency.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the work of two-dimensional expression drawings on the learning of cultural arts and skills of third grade students at SD Negeri 48 Bengkulu City. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study, with participant observation techniques. The subjects of this study were all grade III students of 48 public elementary schools in Bengkulu city, totaling 19 students. The research instrument used was a human instrument, using interview guidelines, observation guidelines, and documentation guidelines. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are the results of the work that has been done by analyzing the data then reduced, display, and draw conclusions. The results of his research are from 19 works that have been made by students there are 5 styles found. Starting from the Structural Form drawing style that is characterized by the use of geometric shapes, Impressionism that is impressed with the texture interpretation of the colors taken from the effects of light, to the Romantic style of images relating to children's fantasies. Other drawing styles such as Lyrical, and Rhythmical Pattern are also found in the expressions of students' work. The use of striking colors in the Lyrical style signifies the nature of the child who wants to stand out among other friends. This trait is often addressed by girls usually through the colors that are etched into the picture. In addition, in a pattern of images that are repeated or Rhythmical Pattern is a form of emotional growth of a developing child.

Abstract

The problems that occur so far, the teacher has never measured the proportion of questions in basic competencies at each level of Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects. So it is not yet known the distribution of questions in the school exams in Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects. In addition, the reality that occurs in the field is that the questions made by the teacher in the exam are mostly only focused on the cognitive realm, even though for Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects, the affective domain is also implicit in Permendikbud No. 37 of 2018. This study aims to describe the proportion of questions in basic competencies per class level, cognitive level, affective level of school exam questions in Pancasila and Civics Education subjects in Bengkulu City SD / MI students for the 2019/2020 academic year. This type of research is descriptive research. The subjects in this study were Class VI SD / MI Bengkulu City. The object in this study is the suitability of the basic competencies of grades IV, V, and VI with school exam questions, school exam questions, the proportion of cognitive levels, the proportion of affective levels of school exam questions for Pancasila education subjects and the citizenship of SD / MI students in Bengkulu City for the 2019 academic year / 2020. The research instrument used was documentation in the form of school exam questions for Pancasila Education and Citizenship of SD / MI students of Bengkulu City for the 2019/2020 academic year. The research data were analyzed using the proportion of the cognitive level of the affective on the items analyzed then the percentage was calculated. The results showed that: 1) The proportion of questions in basic competence per class level, including the basic competency of class VI as many as 4 percentage items of 10%, class V of 9 percentage items of 22.5% and class VI of 27 items a percentage of 67.5%; 2) The proportion of cognitive level, including the level of understanding (C2) as many as 11 items of 27.5%, applying (C3) of 8 items of 20%, analyzing (C4) of 15 items of 37.50%, and evaluating (C5)) as many as 6 items at 15%. Based on the analysis, the recall level (C1) and the creative level (C6) were not yet in the items on the school exam; 3) The proportion of the affective level, including the response level (A2) as many as 5 percentage items of 12.5%, the respect level (A3) as many as 15 items, the percentage of 37.5%, the organizing level (A4) as many as 8 percentage questions 20%, and the level of characterization according to value (A5) is 5 items, the percentage is 12.5%. Thus it can be concluded that the items in the PPKn subject school exam for the 2019/2020 school year have known the proportion of the number of questions in basic competencies per class level, the proportion of cognitive levels and affective levels.Keywords: suitability of basic competencies, cognitive level, affective level.

Abstract

Purpose of this study was to describe the character of the discipline of students in extracurricular activities Scouting Education in Elementary School 68 Bengkulu city, especially in the opening and closing ceremonies Penggalang Scouts practice. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Subjects of research include coaches and assistant coaches Penggalang Scouts and Boy Scouts. Research instrument is observation and interview guides. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion. Test the validity of the data by triangulation of sources and techniques. The results showed that the activities of the opening and closing ceremony of the exercise, members have shown discipline in the activities of prayer and homage to the Red and White when hoisted or lowered. However, members of visible violation of the rules that is talking, do not wear the Scout Uniform Complete (SUC), delayed forming a line angkare, and less unprepared when members gather to hear the instructions given by the Primary. In the opening ceremony activities, readings Pancasila and Dasadarma performed in a loud voice, precise intonation and clear pronunciation. Based on the results of this study concluded that the discipline of members in the opening and closing ceremonies of exercise was seen although there are violations.

Abstract

This research aimed to discribe the development procedure and know eligibility of thematic learning tool by the Sesiku game method contained earthquake phenomena for Kepahiang elementary students. This reaseacrh was Reaseach and Development (R&D) which used ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) model. Thematic learning syllabus, lesson plan, and teachers’ guideline books validation; the sheet of practicality teachers’ guideline questionnaire and the practicality of  thematic learning tool implementation; and the effectiveness of  implementation thematic learning tool in Sesiku game worksheet were used as the intrument of this research. In this research, 87,5% were the validity of thematic learning syllabus, 86,11% for lesson plan, and 90,63% for teachers’ guideline book in Sesiku game. All the percentages showed that thematic learning tool in Sesiku game was categorized in validity. In examining of teachers’ practically guideline book in Sesiku game, the percentage was 96,43%, and 96,54% for implementation of Sesiku game as learning tool. It was categorized definitely pratical. While the examining in social (IPS) subject about the effectiveness, the researchers found 84,61%, 92,31% for Indonesian subject, and 84,61% for science (IPA) subject. From all percentages, it showed that was very effective. It concluded that thematic learning tool in Sesiku game for earthquake phenomena was eligible.
