Abstract

This study is motivated by various events occurring in Indonesia, where education is expected to cultivate students’ humanistic and religious character, including through Islamic education. The teaching of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) is considered essential in shaping students’ humanistic-religious morals, as IRE serves as a strategic means to address social conflicts and contemporary societal issues. The objectives of this study are to describe the forms and directions of transformation in Islamic Religious Education at higher education institutions, analyze efforts to integrate humanistic-religious values into the IRE learning process, and evaluate the impact of IRE transformation on the development of students’ humanistic-religious character. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. This approach was selected because the study focuses on gaining in-depth understanding of the processes and meanings of IRE transformation in shaping students’ humanistic-religious character. The study emphasizes understanding values, attitudes, and behaviors developed through IRE, rather than collecting quantitative data. The findings indicate that the transformation of Islamic Religious Education at Universitas Pamulang (UNPAM) significantly contributes to shaping students’ humanistic-religious character. The transformation is implemented through curriculum renewal and more contextual, interactive teaching methods. IRE lecturers act as facilitators, fostering awareness of Islamic values within a socio-humanitarian context. Educational transformation requires adaptation to contemporary developments while remaining grounded in spiritual values. The implementation of humanistic-religious values is realized through dialogical learning, religious activities, and community service. This process cultivates empathy, tolerance, and social responsibility among students, thereby reinforcing the concept of humanistic Islamic education. Ultimately, Islamic education aims to develop individuals who are faithful, knowledgeable, and morally upright.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on sustainability practices in Indonesian companies. Employing a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression methods, the research involves data from 100 respondents across various industrial sectors, all holding strategic roles in their companies' CSR management. The independent variables consist of four CSR dimensions: economic, legal, ethical, and philanthropic, while the dependent variable is sustainability practices, which encompass environmental, social, and governance aspects. The results show that all CSR dimensions simultaneously have a significant impact on sustainability practices, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.681 and a significance value of 0.000. The economic dimension emerges as the most dominant factor, having the highest regression coefficient. Meanwhile, the ethical and philanthropic dimensions, although less dominant, remain significant and play important roles in building social legitimacy and corporate reputation. This study also emphasizes the importance of integrating CSR into long-term business strategies, as well as the need for digitalizing sustainability reporting and establishing dedicated sustainability management units. The findings contribute theoretically to the development of a strategic CSR model and offer practical implications for corporate management in addressing global sustainability demands.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital payment adoption through the use of QRIS and e-wallets on improving cash flow for MSMEs in Indonesia, and to examine the role of financial literacy as a moderating variable. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of MSMEs that have implemented digital payments in their business activities. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a Likert scale and analyzed using path analysis to test the direct effect between variables, as well as moderation tests through the formation of interaction variables. The results show that digital payment adoption has a positive effect on improving MSME cash flow. Financial literacy also has a positive effect on the quality of cash flow management. Furthermore, financial literacy has been shown to strengthen the influence of digital payment adoption on improving cash flow, so that the benefits of QRIS and e-wallet use are more optimal for MSMEs with higher levels of financial literacy. These findings emphasize that payment digitalization needs to be balanced with strengthening financial literacy. This study provides theoretical contributions to the study of MSME digital finance and practical implications for the formulation of integrated MSME policies and mentoring programs.
