Abstract

This study was conducted to predict the planning of PE goat livestock production in the Al Amin Science and Industrial Park (Living Lab) Area, Glugur Rimbun, Sampecita Village, Kutalimbaru District, Deli Serdang Regency. The method used to predict livestock production planning using Sensitivity Analysis with the Goal Programming Method. The data used is data from Tharaya Farm which has the same management concept as PE goat livestock in the Al Amin Science and Industrial Park (Living Lab) Area, Glugur Rimbun, Sampecita Village, Kutalimbaru District, Deli Serdang Regency later. In this study, the research variables are processed products from goat livestock in the form of goat milk and goat meat. Product A (Goat Milk) requires 30 hours of processing time and product B (Goat Meat) for 20 hours with profits of Rp 400,000 and Rp 800,000, respectively. The results of the study indicate that the profit target can be increased by goat farmers by Rp 1,400,000, - by maximizing the production of at least 2 products for each variable.

Abstract

Learning of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in elementary schools often encounters several challenges, including low student participation, teacher-centered learning practices, and suboptimal learning outcomes in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. This study was conducted to analyze the effectiveness of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning method in improving the quality of the learning process and students’ learning outcomes in PAI subjects. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach conducted in an elementary school setting. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation studies. The data were analyzed using the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of the NHT method was able to create a more interactive, collaborative, and student-centered learning environment. Teachers acted as facilitators who encouraged active student participation during the learning process. The application of the NHT method also contributed to improving students’ understanding of Islamic Religious Education concepts and increasing learning motivation. The percentage of passive students decreased from 65% before implementation to 45% after the application of the NHT method. Therefore, the NHT cooperative learning method can be considered an effective strategy to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) The nature of science in Hasan Asari's perspective, 2) The concept of ontology, epistemology, and axiology of science in Hasan Asari's perspective, and 3) The concept of integration of science in Hasan Asari's perspective. This research uses a character study research method. The data sources in this research are direct interviews with figures, and supported by books, articles or journals. The findings of the study indicate that, according to Hasan Asari’s perspective: 1) science refers to knowledge whose validity has been verified; 2) the ontology of science centers on Allah as the ultimate reality, while its epistemology encompasses bayani, burhani, tajribi, and ‘irfani approaches; and its axiology emphasizes that scientists must prossess a strong moral orientation; 3) the concept of integration of science from the cause of the dichotomy of science and educational institutions becomes the foundation.

Abstract

This descriptive qualitative research aims to describe the principal's leadership model in creating quality Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMK Muhammadiyah 9 Medan. Through observation, interviews, and documentation methods with the principal, Ismuba teachers, and students. This study explores the leadership model as well as its supporting and inhibiting factors. This research analysis was conducted through data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results revealed that the principal implemented a flexible, assertive, participatory leadership model, and was based on Islamic principles to ensure the quality of learning. The success of this program was supported by the dedication of the leadership, teacher competence, school policies oriented towards religious activities, and adequate facilities. However, there were significant challenges such as low learning motivation among some students, lack of support from students' families and social environments, and differences in human resource readiness in adopting learning innovations.
