Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of differentiated learning methods in Fiqh education at MTsN Lubuk Buaya, aiming to accommodate the diverse learning styles of students. It recognizes that students possess varying preferences, categorized as visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. The primary objective of this research is to enhance student engagement and understanding by employing tailored teaching strategies that align with these preferences. A qualitative approach was adopted, utilizing observations, interviews, and document analysis to gather comprehensive data. The findings indicate that differentiated instruction significantly enhances student motivation and comprehension levels. However, the study also identifies challenges, including administrative burdens and limitations in classroom space, which can hinder effective implementation. Ultimately, the research concludes that effective differentiation not only improves learning outcomes but also fosters a more inclusive and engaging educational environment, ensuring that all students can thrive in their learning experiences.

Abstract

It can be seen that in Tahfidz's house, students who are weak in memorizing make the memorization only stop there, and lack concentration in memorizing which makes the students' memorization not increase. This research aims to see the Tahfidz teacher's efforts in improving the ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an for students who are weak at memorizing it at Rumah Tahfidz Ainurrahmah 9 West Pasaman. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Sources were taken from the head of the Tahfidz house, Tahfidz teachers, and students who were weak at memorizing. To obtain data, researchers used observation, interview and documentation guidelines as research instruments. The analysis technique used is the Milles and Huberman analysis technique using data reduction analysis, data presentation and conclusions. The results of the research show that there are several efforts made by Tahfidz teachers to improve the ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an for students whose memorization is weak at Rumah Tahfidz Ainurrahmah 9 West Pasaman in the form of providing muraja'ah assignments, providing motivation and advice, providing additional hours, and providing punishment.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of Islamic religious education teachers in realizing child-friendly schools (CFS) at SMP Negeri 22 Padang. The research method used in the research is qualitative with descriptive research type. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects were students, Islamic religious education teachers, and the principal of SMP Negeri 22 Padang. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that in creating a child-friendly school at SMP Negeri 22 Padang, Islamic religious education teachers have several roles as follows: the role of teacher as motivator, teacher as facilitator, teacher as advisor, teacher as guide.

Abstract

Abstrak: Masuknya kaligrafi pada Pekan Olah Raga dan Seni antar Diniyyah (Porsadin), mengharuskan MDTA memiliki guru yang mahir kaligrafi. Sementara guru MDTA Kota Solok belum memiliki keterampilan kaligrafi Porsadin. Tujuan pelatihan ini meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam bidang kaligrafi, agar dapat membina peserta didiknya belajar kaligrafi yang dilombakan pada kegiatan Porsadin. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, demonstrasi dan simulasi karya oleh peserta pelatihan. Mitra kegiatan ini guru MDTA Kota Solok sebanyak 20 orang. Untuk melihat pemahaman dan kepuasan peserta pelatihan dilakukan melalui google form. Hasil pelatihan ini dapat memberdayakan guru sebagai agen pembelajaran kaligrafi Porsadin pada MDTA yang mereka bina. Tahapan pelatihan yang dilakukan meliputi. (1) pemberian peralatan dan demonstrasi materi; (2) simulasi kaligrafi dan koreksi langsung (direct corection); serta (3) penugasan terbimbing. Kemampuan peserta menguasai teknis pembuatan kaligrafi Porsadin, diperoleh data 27% sangat setuju dan 73% mengatakan setuju, artinya rata-rata semua peserta memahami urutan kerja pembuatan kaligrafi Porsadin. Kemudian 87% peserta pelatihan dapat mengajarkan teknis kaligrafi Porsadin kepada peserta didiknya.Abstract: The existence of the calligraphy branch on the annual agenda of the Sports and Arts Week between Diniyyah (Porsadin), requires MDTA to have teachers who are proficient in calligraphy. Meanwhile, MDTA teachers in Solok City do not yet have calligraphy skills for Porsadin. The purpose of this training is to improve the ability of teachers in the field of calligraphy, so that they can foster their students to learn calligraphy which is contested at Porsadin activities. This training was conducted using lecture, demonstration and simulation methods by the trainees. The partners of this activity are MDTA teachers in Solok city, who were selected as many as 20 people. To see the participants' understanding and satisfaction during the training, a Google form questionnaire was used. The results of this training can empower MDTA teachers as agents of calligraphy learning in the MDTAs they foster. The training stages include. (1) provision of materials and equipment; (2) calligraphy demonstration and direct correction; and (3) guided assignments. The ability of the participants to master the technique of making Porsadin calligraphy, obtained data 27% strongly agreed and 73% said they agreed, meaning that on average all participants understood the sequence of work for making Porsadin calligraphy. Furthermore, 87% of the trainees could teach the technique of Porsadin calligraphy to their students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine students' difficulties when taking Arabic lectures from the linguistic aspect (phonology and morphology). This is useful for improving the material in the modules provided so that the modules are based on the needs of students at Padang State University. The research method used descriptive quantitative, with informants taken by purposive sampling as many as 55 student representatives from each faculty who attended Arabic language lectures. The results of the research stated that from a linguistic aspect in terms of phonology, students felt about 65.5% of the difficulties were found in 19 letters that were difficult to pronounce, 20 letters that were similar in pronunciation and difficulty in determining the intonation of a vocabulary letter. In terms of morphology, 68.4% of the difficulties were found in differentiating the forms of isim/noun and fi'il/verb, differentiating types of words, determining changes in the form of an object and changes in fi'il. This difficulty causes students to not be maximally active in learning Arabic.

Abstract

This article is motivated by the differences in the eating and drinking practices of students with the hadith of the Prophet SAW. The problem in this study is to analyze the eating and drinking ethics of students at Padang State University (UNP). The object of this study is UNP students, on the grounds that the majority of students here are Muslim and have a strong Minangkabau culture with Islamic values. The concept of living hadith is a study of hadith that lives in society based on the hadith of the Prophet SAW. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method based on a case study approach. The analysis of this study uses a SWOT analysis. The results of the study indicate that the eating and drinking practices of UNP students on campus are currently generally not in accordance with the ethical values ​​of eating and drinking in Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the community's view of the school which was initially famous for naughty children, then over time, this school has increasingly experienced an increase in a better direction. This study aims to determine the causes of student delinquency and the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in tackling student delinquency. This type of research is qualitative with the case study method. (Nazir, 2003) said this case study research aims to study and understand a specific case, wherein the early stages of research it is equipped with a theoretical framework with the analysis in the form of one person, one organization, or a case and the researcher acts as an observer who analyzes why and how. of a case. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The data that has been collected is then analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validation of the data in this study used source triangulation, in which the researcher compared several informants in order to obtain valid data. The results showed that student delinquency that occurred at SMPN 9 Payakumbuh City was still classified as moderate delinquency, such as smoking, skipping school without explanation, fighting, saying rude and being disrespectful to the teacher.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze Istihsan qiyas Khafi al-Bazdawi as indicated in contemporary fatwas in Indonesia. What is the concept of Istihsan qiyas khafi al-Bazdawi, and how is it relevant to contemporary fatwas in Indonesia? The research method used is descriptive analysis with a literature study approach sourced from journals, websites, books by al-Bazdawi and his lecturers. The results of the research show that Istihsan qiyas khafi al-Bazdawi is a process of intifa' (taking benefits) on a legal object by using qiyas/illat (legal reasons) khafi (hidden) by removing qiyas/illat jali (real reasons in law), and Istihsan Khafi al-Bazdawi's qiyas are considered relevant to a number of contemporary fatwas of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), including: 1) the prosperity of cash waqf Sukuk, 2) the ease of Sukuk Mudharabah, Murabahah, Musyarakah, 3) the ease of Sweb when fasting, 4) the ease of Vaccine injection while fasting

Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited scholarly attention given to the strategies employed by tahfidz teachers within mosque-based halaqoh, despite the significant impact of such practices on the quality of students’ Qur’anic memorization, particularly in non-formal educational settings like mosques. Amid the rising number of Qur’an memorizers in Indonesia, many students continue to struggle with retaining their memorization and correcting makhraj. The objective of this research is to analyze the strategies used by tahfidz teachers to enhance students’ Qur’anic memorization at the Halaqoh Tahfidz Qur’an of Al-Ikhlas Mosque, Koto Mandakek, Pariaman City. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, involving participants that include the halaqoh leader, one tahfidz teacher, and four students selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques comprise observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the tahfidz teacher implements strategies such as identifying students’ characteristics, formulating learning objectives, applying the talaqqi-sima’i method, tikrar, group murojaah, and conducting participatory and continuous memorization assessments. These strategies have proven effective in gradually and comprehensively improving students’ memorization. This success is influenced by the teacher’s active engagement and adaptive approach tailored to each student’s individual needs. The findings imply that appropriate instructional strategies can strengthen tahfidz programs in non-formal education settings and foster the development of a generation of excellent Qur’an memorizers.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the influence of globalization, characterized by the rapid advancement of science and technology, which presents Indonesia with various challenges and opportunities, particularly in the field of education. The challenges faced by teachers in the learning process are increasing in line with the development of science and technology, where teachers must be able to use engaging, interactive, and enjoyable learning media. One of the interesting and enjoyable media is technology-based media that aligns with the advancements in science and technology, namely Quizizz. The objectives of this study are: first, to determine the application of Quizizz as a learning media in the subject of Islamic Education at SMPN 1 Padang Panjang; second, to assess students' interest in learning through Quizizz in the Islamic Education subject at SMPN 1 Padang Panjang; and third, to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in using Quizizz as a learning media to enhance students' interest in learning in the Islamic Education subject at SMPN 1 Padang Panjang. The method used in this research is a mixed method with a total of seven informants. The data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, while the data analysis employs techniques such as data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results of this study indicate that the application of Quizizz in Islamic Education learning has a positive impact on students' interest in learning, as evidenced by positive changes in students' attitudes, where they become more active and enthusiastic during lessons. The implementation of Quizizz as a learning media is carried out in three stages: planning, implementation, and reflection. The use of Quizizz in Islamic Education learning can enhance students' interest in learning, as seen from four indicators of interest: students' feelings of enjoyment, attention, interest, and involvement or participation in the learning process. The main conclusion of this research is that the application of Quizizz can increase students' interest in learning, thereby supporting the achievement of optimal learning objectives. The implications of this research indicate that the integration of technology in the learning process, particularly through the use of interactive media like Quizizz, can significantly enhance students' interest in the subject of Islamic Education. This suggests that teachers need to adopt innovative and engaging teaching methods to create a more dynamic and enjoyable learning environment. Furthermore, this research highlights the importance of training for teachers in utilizing educational technology, enabling them to design and implement effective learning experiences. Thus, the application of technology-based learning media not only contributes to increasing students' interest in learning but also supports the achievement of better educational outcomes in the current era of globalization and technological advancement.
