Abstract

Abstract This study explores the suicidal desire and behavior of modern humans found in Indonesian literature. So far, research on suicidal ideation and behavior tends to be mostly done in the realm of psychology. Unfortunately, research on suicidal ideation and behavior from the perspective of the psychology of death is still not widely carried out by researchers in the field of literature. In this regard, this study raises the desire and suicidal behavior of modern humans as reflected in Indonesian literature. The method used in this research is qualitative using data sources from three Indonesian novels, Olenka, Rafilus, and Supernova. The data collection technique was carried out in a documentary manner referring to the text data contained in the novel. The data analysis technique uses the stages of identification, classification, and exposure to research data. The results of the study show the following. First, the novel Olenka, Rafilus, and Supernova depicts a character who narrates a suicide committed by another person and he feels how the suicide happened. Second, suicide is contained in the character's mind as a responsibility of human freedom. Third, suicide appears in the flash of the character's mind. Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the application of PAI learning with a Literacy-based Project Based Learning Model at MTsN 4 Jombang; and (2) describing PAI learning with a Literacy-based Project Based Learning Model that can improve 4C at MTsN 4 Jombang. The type of research used is phenomenological research with a qualitative data approach. The presence of the researcher acts as the main instrument in this research. The data collection technique used is through participatory observation methods, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this research are data presentation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The data validity technique is through source triangulation, method triangulation, and time triangulation. The results of the study show that: (1) the application of PAI learning with the Project Based Learning Model Literacy-Based case studies on students of class VIII L and VIII I at MTsN 4 Jombang, namely, the learning tools that must be prepared by the teacher before teaching are syllabus, lesson plans and worksheets. Literacy-based Students (LKPD) which contains 12 literature on social media. The teacher makes RPP in accordance with the 2013 curriculum and the guidelines in the Circular Letter of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 14 of 2019, the teacher has implemented the steps of the literacy-based Project Based Learning learning model quite well and its application is in the form of RPP and LKPD; and (2) PAI learning with the Literacy-Based Project Based Learning Model can improve Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication, Collaboration (4C) by applying the 6-step Project Based Learning model which in the process of learning activities has implemented 4C skills which can improve students' skills in critical, creative, communicative and collaborative thinking.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk diuraikan macam-macam campur kode bahasa gamers terhadap lingkungan anak sekolah dasar dalam perspektif sosiolinguistik. Penelitian ini berupa deskriptif kualitatif, Penelitian ini menggunakan metode, meliputi pengumpulan data, analisis data, dan penyajian data. Campur kode bahasa gamers pada lingkungan anak dasar yang menjadi fenomena campur kode yang umumnya digunakan dalam percakapan saat bermain game dan dipakai untuk kegiatan keseharian nya yang sacara tidak sadar di ucapkan secara spontan. Bahasa Madura, Indonesia dan inggris merupakan bahasa yg paling sering digunakan, Indonesia dan inggris. Bahasa Madura menjadi bahasa dominan sebagai B-1 sedangkan bahasa Indonesia dan inggris sebagai B-2 yang menjadi bahasa lain yang menjadi bahasa kedua terjadinya campur kode. Campur kode merupakan sering terjadi didalam perbincangan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat pada umumnya. Bahkan campur kode juga banyak terjadi disosial media misalnya saat bermain game. Hal tersebut menjadi fenomena bahasa yang dikaji menggunakan teori sosiolinguistik.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the text that contains the aesthetic value of coffeein the novel The Coffee Memory by Riawani Elyta using Ronald Tobin’s gastronomicapproach. The method used in this study is a qualitative analysis involving theresercher’s reading, recording, and interpretation of the text in the novel. The datacollection technique involved carrying out reading and note-taking activities, whichwould then be analyzed by identifying and interpreting data and linking the datafindings with gastronomic theory. This study obtained the results that the image ofcoffee can relate to the experiences experienced by humans. Not only that, but coffeealso has aesthetic value, starting from its name, art, and the history of these uniquecoffees. Through that, culinary can have differences from other culinary delights,ultimately making it a person's identity.

Abstract

Ethnosemiotics studies how meaning is interpreted within a culture. The purpose of this study is to characterise the use of ethnosemiotic theories and identify their problematic elements. A review of the literature is part of this research process. This study examines five publications that address ethnoemiotics. Reputable publications, national journals, international seminar proceedings, and dissertation research have all published the five chosen articles. The findings demonstrate that ethnosemiotics is not only regarded as a single, cohesive theory but also that some people employ it as a methodology. In addition, a number of studies view ethnosemiotics as a theory that emerges from the fusion of semiotic theory with other theories including ethnolinguistics, ethnography, and ethnology.

Abstract

This research aims to find and describe the problem of the value of religious education as reflected in the novel Cahaya Bening dari Jambi by Dr. OK, Pratama. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to the development of literature in general and the sociology of literature in particular. This research method uses qualitative methods and the data source for this research is the novel Cahaya Bening from Jambi. Data collection techniques use library study techniques or documents in the form of novels. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques use descriptive analysis techniques and content analysis. The results of this research are the novel Cahaya Bening from Jambi by Dr. Oky Pratama, this novel contains a lot of religious values ​​related to humans as religious creatures.

Abstract

This article examines women's trauma in the novel Perempuan di Titik Zero by Nawal El Saadawi using the Javanese psychological approach Mentaraman. A qualitative and descriptive approach was used to explore the traumatic experience of the main character, Firdaus, and analyze how she tried to face and overcome the suffering she experienced. Mentaraman's Javanese psychology, which emphasizes inner balance, mental peace, and psychological recovery, is the basis for understanding how Firdaus interacts with trauma and the search for identity in the context of Javanese tradition and culture. Through a literature review, this article discusses how Javanese psychology can provide a new perspective in understanding Firdaus' mental and emotional response to the oppression, violence and helplessness he experienced. The results of the analysis show that even though Firdaus is trapped in a state of deep trauma, Javanese psychological values ​​that focus on self-recovery and inner harmony can explain Firdaus' efforts to achieve peace in facing her past. This article provides insight into how women's trauma can be understood through the lens of Javanese psychology and the importance of mental balance in the recovery process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze social criticism in the novel "Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar" by Tere Liye. Specifically, this study attempts to (1) identify the forms of social criticism contained in the novel, (2) understand the process of social criticism in the context of the story, and (3) examine the benefits of social criticism for society, as reflected in the novel. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a sociological literary approach and Abrams' mimetic theory to analyze social criticism in the novel "Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar" by Tere Liye. Research data in the form of quotations and dialogues in the novel are analyzed repeatedly to identify the forms of social criticism contained therein. The results of the study show that this novel contains 54 quotations of social criticism covering various aspects of people's lives, such as economics (17 quotations), politics (14 quotations), the environment (11 quotations), and human rights (12 quotations). This social criticism aims to reveal injustice and inequality in society, as well as encourage change for the better. This study concludes that the novel "Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar" by Tere Liye provides benefits for readers to think critically, develop empathy, and be inspired to make social changes.

Abstract

This study is a study used to find and describe whether there is a relationship or correlation between prophetic intelligence and learning achievement at SMP aL-Furqan MQ. Prophetic intelligence is a method of intelligence that does not only see a person's ability from their intellectual intelligence, but also from their spiritual and bathiniyyah or heart aspects This study uses a quantitative approach with the correlation method. Correlation is a statistical analysis technique to find the relationship between two variables. The relationship between the two variables can occur because of a causal relationship or just a coincidence. The design of this study was to distribute a questionnaire containing questions about Prophetic Intelligence (x) and PAI report card scores as a learning achievement variable (Y). Based on the results obtained, the Prophetic Intelligence of AL-Furqan MQ Tebuireng Jombang Middle School students is included in the Medium category with 57 students with a percentage of 55%. The learning achievement of AL-Furqan MQ Tebuireng Jombang Middle School students is included in the Medium category with 53 students with a percentage of 51%. And there is a correlation between Prophetic Intelligence  and PAI learning achievement, by 39% or 0.390> 0.05. that means, that every increase in the value of Prophetic Intelligence  will also increase the value of PAI learning achievement.
