Abstract

Education is the main pillar of national development, and the success of the education system is highly dependent on the effectiveness of school management, including the supervision aspect. Supervision plays an important role in ensuring that educational activities run according to objectives, preventing various obstacles, and improving the quality of learning and teacher professionalism. Planning is the main foundation in effective and sustainable elementary school management. This study aims to examine the importance of planning in elementary education management and strategies that can be applied to improve its effectiveness. This study uses a literature study method by analyzing various sources such as books, journals, and scientific articles. The results of the study indicate that thorough planning—including determining the vision, mission, goals, targets, and strategies—plays an important role in improving the quality of learning, shaping student character, and supporting teacher professional development. SWOT analysis is also used as a strategic tool to evaluate the internal and external conditions of the school in order to formulate planning that is responsive to challenges and opportunities. These findings confirm that systematic and adaptive planning is the key to creating superior school management that is oriented towards improving the quality of education.

Abstract

Students' engagement and passion for studying are shaped by their areas of interest. But the fact is that pupils still show very little enthusiasm for studying. Our goal in creating this medium is to provide fourth graders with a high-quality instructional film that will supplement their social studies curriculum. Using the six steps of the ASSURE model—which include student analysis, establishing learning objectives, selecting methods, media, and materials, implementing the model, encouraging student participation, and finally, evaluation and improvement—this learning video media was developed. Students in fourth grade at SDN Pakis V were the topic of this educational film. The creation of this video medium was deemed suitable for use in the fourth grade social studies curriculum. This is derived from the validation findings of specialists in the field of media and materials, as well as students working alone, in small groups, or in big format. The efficacy of this learning video medium was assessed using a posttest after expert and student testing. Students were able to get outcomes higher than the designated KKM when tested using this learning video medium. As a result, creating educational video content is a fruitful endeavour.

Abstract

PKM ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kapasitas tenaga pendidik dalam menghasilkan karya akademik di SD Islam Al-Karimah. Intervensi tersebut melibatkan program keterlibatan masyarakat yang berfokus pada peningkatan keterampilan pendidik dalam menyusun makalah akademik untuk fakultas di Sekolah Dasar Islam Al-Karimah, yang terletak di Desa Bodak, Kecamatan Praya, Lombok Tengah, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Langkah-langkah prosedural meliputi: (1) melakukan pertemuan dengan para pendidik SD Islam Al-Karimah, (2) mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi oleh para pendidik, (3) merancang strategi untuk mengatasi tantangan dan hambatan ini, dan (4) menguraikan agenda untuk sesi pelatihan. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan bersifat kualitatif, memanfaatkan berbagai metode pengumpulan data seperti observasi, wawancara, tinjauan dokumentasi, dan kuesioner yang menggabungkan pertanyaan terbuka atau deskriptif melalui Google Forms. Hasil dari usaha PKM yang dilakukan menunjukkan efektivitas bantuan yang diberikan oleh tim proyek kepada para pendidik di SD Islam Al-Karimah. Temuan dari publikasi penelitian akademis mengungkapkan tingkat pencapaian 85% dalam memenuhi tujuan yang ditetapkan.

Abstract

Environmental education implemented at the tertiary level often impacts changes in student behavior. This makes the development of environmental education at the tertiary level important to be carried out sustainably. The purpose of this study was to develop a student worksheet integrated with the Guided Interaction in Team (GIT) model. The method used in this study was research and development (R&D). The results of this study indicate that the student worksheet integrated with the GIT model has a very valid category with a percentage of expert I scores of 90% and a percentage of expert II scores of 87.50%, making it suitable for use in learning. The results of this study confirm that learning innovations need to be continuously developed better so that environmental education can run properly. The conclusion of this study is that the developed student worksheet is valid for use in classroom learning. Suggestions for further research are to develop other learning models that are more integrated with learning tools.

Abstract

Abstract: Environmental conservation activities need to be carried out in thecommunity, especially related to environmentally friendly food packaging.One of the problems that often arises is related to the lack of socializationrelated to environmentally friendly food packaging. The purpose of thiscommunity service activity is to empower the knowledge of Vocational HighSchool (SMK) students in Jakarta related to environmentally friendly foodpackaging. The method used in this activity is a seminar conducted forstudents of SMKN 1 Jakarta. The results of this community service activity arethat there is an increase in the knowledge score of SMKN 1 Jakarta studentsbetween before and after the activity. The conclusion of this activity is thatwith the seminar there is an increase in the knowledge of SMK students relatedto environmentally friendly food packaging. Metode yangdigunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan seminar yang dilakukan kepadasiswa SMKN 1 Jakarta. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakatini adalah bahwa terdapat kenaikan skor pengetahuan siswa SMKN 1 Jakartaantara sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalahbahwa dengan seminar terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan siswa SMK terkaitdengan kemasan makanan ramah lingkungan.
