Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat pemahaman dan praktik nilai-nilai Syari’at Islam serta moderasi beragama bagi kader Al Jam’iyatul Washliyah dan mahasiswa di Aceh Barat. Aceh Barat merupakan salah satu daerah dengan mayoritas penduduk beragama Islam yang kuat. Namun, penting untuk memastikan bahwa pemahaman dan praktik Islam di wilayah ini tetap seimbang, moderat, dan berlandaskan pada nilai-nilai syari’at Islam yang benar. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini mencakup penyelenggaraan seminar dan diskusi kelompok. Selama kegiatan ini, peserta diberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang nilai-nilai Syari’at Islam, moderasi beragama, dan bagaimana menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan akan menjadi landasan bagi kader Al Jam’iyatul Washliyah dan mahasiswa di Aceh Barat untuk mengamalkan nilai-nilai Syari’at Islam secara benar dan moderat, serta menjadi agen perubahan positif dalam masyarakat mereka. Melalui pemahaman yang kuat tentang nilai-nilai Islam yang moderat, diharapkan Aceh Barat akan tetap menjadi daerah yang damai dan harmonis dalam keberagaman.

Abstract

Every Muslim is required to worship by reading the Qur'an, making it obligatory for them to adhere to the rules of tajweed when doing so. Failure to understand these rules correctly may lead to errors in recitation. The Qur'an and Tafsir Study Program at STAIN Meulaboh emphasizes the Qur'an as a primary learning source, placing a high demand on students to read it properly. However, some students in the program struggle with accurate recitation, highlighting the need for additional Tahsin training to enhance their skills. Throughout the implementation of these activities, students displayed great enthusiasm, with many actively participating. Furthermore, their eagerness extended beyond merely reading accurately; many expressed a strong desire to memorize the Qur'an as well.

Abstract

Pendidikan yang diterima oleh anak berkebutuhan khusus berbeda dengan pendidikan yang didapatkan oleh anak-anak normal lainnya. Pendidikan anak berkebutuhan khusus harus memperhatikan kecenderungan dan keterbatasan yang dimiliki. Melalui kajian literatur, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa anak berkebutuhan khusus membutuhkan pola pendidikan yang  berbeda dari anak normal lainya. Selain treatment khusus, mereka juga perlu diberikan terapi untuk mengoptimalkan kelebihan dan meminimalkan keterbatasannya.

Abstract

Dayah is a designation for the traditional Islamic boarding school in Aceh, an institution that plays a crucial role in education, knowledge dissemination, and shaping religious identity in Aceh society. To produce well-rounded graduates, Dayahs must stay abreast of modern developments and cultivate a dynamic, inclusive academic culture. However, Dayahs have struggled to demonstrate such openness, leading to challenges to their relevance. This research employed qualitative methods to investigate the academic culture within the Dayah education system in Aceh, re-evaluate factors influencing its development, and outline future growth prospects. The study focused on three Dayahs: Ruhul Islam, Ruhul Falah, and Darul Maghfirah. The findings revealed that the academic culture in these institutions has been declining due to several factors: reliance on a traditional curriculum and teacher-centered instruction, generational transmission of outdated practices, and lack of contemporary organizational structure. These issues hinder learning, stifling the freedom to voice opinions, knowledge acquisition, and effective management. To improve the academic culture in Dayah, it is recommended to enhance engagement and communication with all stakeholders, implement a structured development plan, and improve the quality of human resources. By addressing these areas, Dayahs can foster a more dynamic and inclusive academic environment.

Abstract

The Community Service Lecture Program (KPM) is an integral part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which aims to foster social awareness and develop students' capacity in empowering the community. However, the effectiveness of its implementation is often constrained by the lack of systematic mentoring strategies from the supervising lecturers. This study aims to analyze the lecturer mentoring strategy in optimizing the implementation of the community service program by KPM STAIN Meulaboh students. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a participatory approach, through observation, interviews, and documentation of student and supervising lecturer activities. The results of the study indicate that mentoring carried out actively, participatively, and in a directed manner can improve the quality of program planning, implementation, and evaluation by students. Students who receive intensive mentoring show better abilities in identifying community needs, designing programs based on local potential, and establishing effective collaboration with village stakeholders. The mentoring strategy also contributes to shaping students' character as agents of social change. It can be concluded that the active involvement of lecturers in all stages of KPM is the key to the success of impactful and sustainable service.

Abstract

Foster Village is a community development program that aims to improve the quality of life in rural areas. This program focuses on various aspects of community development, such as education, the economy, and community empowerment. This program was implemented by STAIN Teungku Dirundeng Meulaboh in Gampong Pasi Mesjid, Meureubo District, West Aceh Regency from October 28 to November 28, 2022. Activities in this study used the Participatory Action Research (PAR) mentoring method, from the research results it was concluded that the Assisted Village program by The campus aims to develop the village so that it becomes an independent village and improves the welfare of the village community. This program also provides learning opportunities and contributions for program participants and involves campuses, lecturers, and students in village development efforts.

Abstract

Pendidikan tinggi, khususnya di institusi keislaman seperti STAIN Meulaboh, menekankan pentingnya pengalaman lapangan dalam pembentukan mahasiswa STAIN dari berbagai jurusan dan prodi. Jurnal ini membahas upaya meningkatkan prestasi dengan belajar mengajar sebagai langkah strategis untuk mengintegrasikan teori dengan praktik dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan utama adalah memperkaya pengalaman mahasiswa dan memperkuat hubungan antara STAIN Teungku Dirundeng Meulaboh dengan masyarakat Gampong Labuhan Tarok II dengan tujuan menciptakan sinergi positif dalam dunia pendidikan. Studi ini mengintegrasikan studi pendahuluan, analisis kebutuhan, desain program pengalaman lapangan, pelaksanaan praktik, dan evaluasi. Survei dan wawancara digunakan untuk memahami kebutuhan dan harapan dari berbagai pihak. Program Kuliah Pengabdian Masyarakat dirancang untuk mengoptimalkan penerapan teori, fokus pada pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi, dan pengembangan karakter. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pemantauan dan feedback dari pamong pembimbing dan dosen pembimbing. Hasil jurnal menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi kuliah pengabdian masyarakat memberikan dampak positif terhadap pengembangan profesionalisme dan keterampilan mahasiswa STAIN Meulaboh. Gampong Labuhan Tarok II, sebagai mitra, turut merasakan manfaat kolaborasi ini. Kerjasama ini diharapkan dapat berlanjut, memberikan kontribusi positif bagi kedua institusi, serta memperkaya lingkungan pendidikan di wilayah tersebut.
