Abstract

In reading learning, it is shown that there are various difficulties experienced by grade I students of SDN Karangtengah Prandon2 Ngawi in reading, including inability to recognize letters, the absence or replacement of letters when reading, difficulties in reading word by word, and difficulties in distinguishing vowels and consonants. In addition, students also experience obstacles in combining letters and syllables into whole words, and pay less attention to the use of punctuation. These difficulty factors include low interest in learning to read, lack of motivation when participating in reading activities, The type of research used is using a quantitative approach with the Pre-Experimental Design type. The researcher used the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design to be carried out in one class without a comparison class using a pretest before being given treatment. With that, the results of the treatment can be known more accurately, because it can be compared with the situation before being given treatment. The results of this study are that there is a significant influence of the use of Letter Puzzle media on the reading ability of grade I students of SDN Karangtengah Prandon 2 Ngawi.

Abstract

The implementation of Pancasila education at the elementary school level requires media such as smart boards in the learning process to support the teaching and learning process more interestingly. The use of this learning media has a positive impact on the overall psychological development of children. This media not only serves as a visual or audio aid, but also an effective means of fostering interest in learning, increasing motivation, and facilitating the understanding of concepts that may be difficult to understand. The type of research used is using a quantitative approach with the Pre-Experimental Design type. The researcher used a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design where it was carried out in one class without a comparison class by using a pretest before being given treatment. With that, the results of the treatment can be known more accurately, because it can be compared with the situation before being given treatment. The results of this study in the use of smart board media on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education for grade 1 students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Kedunggalar have a significant influence, this is found in the results of the pretest getting an average score (mean) of 60.50, while the posttest gets an average score (mean) of 86.50

Abstract

This research was carried out at SD Negeri Jururejo 2, Ngawi District, Ngawi Regency, with the aim of determining the effectiveness of the use of diorama media in improving the learning outcomes of grade III students on metamorphosis material in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning. The problem in this study departs from the initial findings which show that as many as 63.2% of students have not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) in metamorphosis material. This is because the material of metamorphosis is abstract and cannot be understood well through lecture methods or textbooks. Diorama media as a three-dimensional visual media is considered to be able to provide a concrete learning experience and in accordance with the characteristics of the cognitive development of elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. The sample amounted to 19 grade III students, determined through saturated sampling techniques. The instrument is in the form of a multiple-choice test of 30 questions that have gone through validity and reliability tests. The results of the analysis showed an increase in the average score from 64.63 in the pretest to 93.26 in the posttest. The paired t-test produced a significance value (p < 0.05) and an effect size of 2.91 which showed a very large influence. It can be concluded that diorama media is effective in improving student learning outcomes in metamorphosis materials, creating more interesting, even, and easy learning for all students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Latihan Baris Berbaris terhadap pembentukan kedisiplinan pada anak usia dini, khususnya anak Kelompok B di TK Kartika IX – 43. Latar belakang penelitian ini bermula dari permasalahan rendahnya kedisiplinan pada anak usia taman kanak-kanak, yang ditunjukkan dengan perilaku seperti tidak menaati peraturan, tidak teratur dalam melakukan kegiatan sehari-hari, dan sulit mengikuti perintah guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen dengan tipe one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 anak usia 5–6 tahun yang dipilih secara acak dari populasi yang homogen. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi yang meliputi enam indikator kedisiplinan, yaitu menaati peraturan, mampu mengikuti perintah, tertib, menguasai diri, bertanggung jawab, dan tepat waktu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi yang dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan LBB, yang dilakukan secara terstruktur selama empat minggu. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t berpasangan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor kedisiplinan anak secara signifikan setelah mengikuti kegiatan LBB. Hasil analisis statistik dengan nilai signifikansi (p 0,05) menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan LBB berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan kedisiplinan anak. Dengan demikian, Latihan Baris Berbaris terbukti efektif sebagai salah satu sarana pengembangan karakter disiplin pada anak usia dini dalam konteks pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD). Kata Kunci: Latihan Baris Berbaris, Disiplin, Anak Usia Dini, Ekstrakurikuler, Pendidikan Karakter.

Abstract

In teaching mathematics subjects, a teacher must be competent in designing innovative learning materials so that they can develop students' potential, which is expected to affect their learning outcomes and which is one of the influencing factors in student success in mathematics lessons is learning style. This study applies a descriptive method. The purpose is to describe the form of learning difficulties experienced by grade VIII students at MTs SA Al Murtadho Kedungwaru in learning mathematics on phytagoras theorem material referring to aspects of each student's learning style. In determining a subject in a study, it is carried out using the purpose sampling technique. There are three learning styles that will be studied further in this study, namely visual, auditorial, and kinesthetic learning styles. The research subjects of six students were taken representatives from a total of 34 students, in each class two representatives will be taken for those who have a visual learning style, two students also with an auditorial learning style, and two more students with a kinesthetic learning style. The techniques used to obtain the necessary data will be distributed questionnaires, test questions, interviews with students, and documentary evidence. This study applies two ways by comparing data from observation results with interview results and will also compare a person's assessment with various points of view with other people's perspectives. The results found in the study stated that there are difficulties in students including difficulties in understanding concepts, problems, and answering questions related to the Pythagorean theorem. So teachers need to find a learning style that is suitable for each student in order to help students understand the material so that students can solve the questions given appropriately.
