This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Bringin. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) cooperative learning model with a contextual approach to student problem solving. This research was conducted in class VIII, with a population of all classes VIII A to F. The sample of this study was class VIII D, as the experimental class and class VIII F as the control class. This study used a quasi-experimental quantitative research design, namely a posttest only control group design where researchers gave posttests to both the experimental and control classes, but only the experimental group received treatment. The method used in the problem-solving stages of this study is Polya's four stages. By using data analysis at a significance level (α) = 0.05, the hypothesis results were 2.885> 2.056 with the conclusion that in class VIII D or the experimental class Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, then the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) cooperative learning model with a contextual approach was able to improve student problem solving.

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the inquiry learning method with an ethnomathematics approach on the mathematical understanding of class VII students at SMPN 1 Bringin for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental research design. With research subjects from class VII, 56 students were taken from the experimental class and 56 students from the control class. Data collection was carried out by means of a post-test carried out at the end of the lesson which was used to determine students' mathematical understanding. In analyzing the data, this research uses statistical data analysis with a formula (t test). The research results show a significant difference with a calculated t value = 2.199 and t table = 2.056 with a significance level of 0.05. The average score of students after being taught using the inquiry learning method with an ethnomathematics approach was 93,50, while the average score of students using the direct learning model was 87,93. Thus, the use of the inquiry learning method with an ethnomathematics approach is effective in the mathematical understanding of class VII students at SMPN 1 Bringin for the 2024/2025 academic year.

This research was conducted at Al-Azhar Paron Middle School with the aim of finding out whether the discovery learning model with a scientific approach was more effective than conventional learning models on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VII students at Al-Azhar Paron Middle School. The research used is Quasi Experimental research with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design which consists of two research groups, namely an experimental class with a Discovery Learning learning model with a scientific approach and a control class with a conventional learning model. The population in this study were class VII students at Al-Azhar Paron Ngawi Middle School. The research sample was taken using a saturated sampling technique (sample determination when all members of the population are used as samples). The prerequisite test carried out was a normality test using the Lilliefors method and a homogeneity test was carried out to see the similarity of the variants in the two groups. Data were analyzed univariately with a significance level of 5% (0.05) for hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results of the research show that the learning outcomes of students who use the discovery learning model with a scientific approach compared to the conventional learning model are more effectively applied in class VII of Al-Azhar Middle School. The results of calculations using the t test obtained t_count = 2.892 while t_(table )= 2.042, which shows that t_count > t_table at a significance level of 5% (0.05), meaning that H_0 is rejected, giving us confidence that the research hypothesis is accepted. These results can then be interpreted to mean that the application of the discovery learning model with a scientific approach is more effective than the conventional learning model on mathematics learning outcomes in class VII Al-Azhar Paron Middle School.

This study aims to find out whether the STEM-based PjBL learning model is effective on the critical thinking ability of SPLDV material of Al-Azhar Paron Junior High School students. The research used is a quantitative research with a Quasi Experimental design. The population in this study is grade VIII students of Al-Azhar Paron Junior High School. The research sample is the entire population with the number of class VIII A 25 students and class VIII B 21 students. The prerequisite test carried out was a normality test using the Lilliefors formula and a variant homognance test was carried out to see the similarity of variants in both groups. Hypothesis testing is carried out using the unpaired T test. The results of the study showed that the average calculation of the post test results of the experimental class that applied the STEM-based PjBL learning model was higher than that of the control class that applied the conventional learning model. If you look at the results of the unpaired t-test, it shows that the t-count (3.601) is greater than the t-table (2.015) at a significance level of 5%, meaning that the null hypothesis is rejected so that it gives us confidence that the research hypothesis is accepted. These results can then be interpreted that the application of the STEM-based PjBL learning model is effective on the critical thinking skills of SPLDV material of Al-Azhar Paron Junior High School students

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis kesalahan siswa kelas VIII SMP Pesantren Temulus Ngawi dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel ditinjau dari gaya belajar beserta faktor-faktor penyebab kesalahannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi angket gaya belajar, tes soal cerita matematika, dan pedoman wawancara. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VIII D SMP Pesantren Temulus dengan 29 siswa. Dari 29 siswa diambil 6 siswa sebagai subjek penelitian diantaranya 2 siswa dari gaya belajar visual, 2 siswa dari gaya belajar auditorial dan 2 siswa dari gaya belajar kinestetik, masing-masing terdiri dari 1 siswa gaya belajar tinggi dan 1 siswa gaya belajar rendah. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan gaya belajar visual cenderung melakukan kesalahan dalam transformasi masalah. Siswa dengan gaya belajar auditorial cenderung melakukan kesalahan dalam transformasi masalah, keterampilan proses, dan penulisan jawaban akhir. Siswa dengan gaya belajar kinestetik cenderung melakukan kesalahan dalam memahami masalah, transformasi masalah, keterampilan proses, dan penulisan jawaban akhir.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika dengan materi Operasi Hitung Bilangan di kelas IV SD Negeri 71 Kota Lubuklinggau. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat lebih mengembangkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Matematika materi Operasi Hitung Bilangan di kelas IV SD Negeri 71 Lubuklinggau dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran Snowball Throwing. Metodologi yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang diselesaikan dalam 2 siklus pembelajaran dengan perulangan 2 kegiatan di setiap siklus dengan 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi, instrumen tes dan dokumentasi. Data hasil penelitian yang telah diolah dan dianalisis diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa efek samping pembelajaran siswa pada pembelajaran Matematika materi Operasi Hitung Bilangan dengan diterapkannya metode pembelajaran Snowball Throwing di kelas IV SD Negeri 71 Lubuklinggau telah mengalami peningkatan terbukti diperoleh data dari hasil pembelajaran siklus I siswa mendapat nilai ≥65 ke atas (KKM)= 9 orang atau 45% dengan nilai rata-rata 61. Sedangkan hasil pembelajaran siklus II siswa yang mendapat nilai ≥65 (KKM)=19 orang atau 95% dengan nilai rat-rata 92. Data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan metode pembelajaran Snowball Throwing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa ditinjau dari gaya kognitif field independent dan field dependent. Penelitian dilakukan di smp Negeri 4 Widodaren. Penentuan subjek penelitian menggunakan instrumen tes gaya kognitif yaitu Group Embedded Figure (GEFT). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 4 siswa yang diambil dari kelas VIII B yaitu 2 siswa dengan gaya kognitif field independent dan 2 siswa dengan gaya kognitif field dependent. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 4 tahapan Polya. Triangulasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah triangulasi metode dan triangulasi sumber data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah subjek field independent berada pada kategori baik. Subjek field independent mampu pada 4 tahap pemecahan masalah menurut Polya. Sedangkan subjek field dependent berada pada kategori cukup. Subjek field dependent hanya mampu pada tahap memahami masalah

Penelitian memiliki untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman matematika siswa yang menggunakan metode Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) dan Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengunaan metode RME terhadap hasil belajar. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian. Pada desain ini melibatkan dua kelompok, akan tetapi pengukuran atau observasi dilakukan dua kali, pre-test dan post-test. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan 2 sampel adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII C dengan jumlah 27 siswa dan kelas VII D dengan jumlah 27 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan perhitungan statistik. Uji statistik yang digunakan yaitu Uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dengan uji T diperoleh nilai t hitung (t stat) > t tabel (t critical two tail) 6,590 > 2,059 adalah maka H_0 ditolak, dapat dikatakan bahwa ada perbedaan siswa sebelum dan sesudah menerima perlakuan kegiatan Kegiatan pembelajaran dengan model RME dilihat hasil hasil belajar siswa pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat dampak penggunaan model Inside Outside Circle menggunakan media audio visual dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional pada hasil belajar matematika siswa. Populasi yang digunakan ialah siswa SMPN 2 Sine, peneliti dalam penelitian ini menerapkan metode true eksperimental menggunakan teknik sampling mengkluster populasi. Data yang digunakan peneliti ialah data nilai Ulangan Akhir Semester Ganjil dan hasikl nilai tes akhir matematika. Hasil akhir penelitian terdapat hasil 1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika dalam Inside Outside Circle dibantu media audio visual diperoleh rata-rata 71,09 dan konvensional 62,8 dengan tobs = 2,55 lebih besar 2) Pendekatan pembelajaran Inside Outside Circle, dibantu oleh media audiovisual, lebih tepat daripada pembelajaran konvensional di kelas

This study aims to describe how difficulties are experienced by students from each level. The type of research conducted is qualitative descriptive. The subject of the study is a grade VII student at MTs SA Al Murtadho Kedungwaru. There are two instruments used in this study, the main instruments, namely the researcher and the supporting instruments, namely the mathematical anxiety questionnaire, the learning difficulty question test, and the interview guidelines for learning difficulties. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that students who had low math anxiety tended to have difficulty solving problems that required variable determination. Students who have moderate learning difficulties tend to have difficulty in using principles and difficulties in solving problems that require the determination of variables. Students who experience high anxiety tend to experience all indicators of learning difficulties, ranging from difficulty in presenting concepts, difficulties in using principles, and difficulties in solving problems that require the determination of variables..
