Abstract

Ibn Khaldun is a Muslim intellectual who has multiscience and expertise. He is known as a historian, sociologist, politician, and even a philosopher. However, in his monumental work, Muqaddimah, Ibn Khaldun also had insightful thoughts about education that he wrote almost one-third of the content of the Muqaddimah. Therefore, he deserves to be called an Islamic educational figure. Since Ibn Khaldun was a Muslim intellectual who had no doubt about his knowledge of Islamic studies, it was interesting to examine his views on Education which in many ways were certainly influenced by his understanding of Islamic teachings in addition to the problems and realities of the ummah in his time. His religious, critical and humanist educational thinking can be a reference for the development of Islamic education, especially in the National Education System in Indonesia, especially in the current era where the development of science tends to be oriented towards the Western concept (west-centric), including the field of education.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of gadget use on early childhood development, emphasizing both its positive and negative impacts. With the rapid advancement of technology, gadgets have become integral to modern life, providing educational resources, communication tools, and entertainment. However, excessive and unsupervised gadget use among children poses significant risks, including social detachment, delayed cognitive and emotional development, and reduced physical activity. Using descriptive and quantitative methods combined with a literature study, this research aims to analyze the effects of gadget use on children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. The study also examines parental roles in managing gadget exposure and offers strategies to mitigate its adverse effects. Findings reveal that while gadgets offer educational benefits and enhance access to information, overuse can lead to dependency and hinder the social development of children. Parental guidance, such as setting screen-time limits, encouraging interactive play, and fostering balanced gadget use, is critical to ensuring a positive developmental trajectory. This research underscores the importance of responsible technology integration to promote holistic growth in early childhood.

Abstract

This study examines the critical role of parents in addressing the challenges faced by children in modern times. The rise of media and technology has posed significant challenges to character education, which is essential in shaping a child's emotional intelligence (EQ) and spiritual intelligence (SQ). Parents, as the primary educators, play a dominant role in instilling positive habits, providing a strong moral foundation, and fostering a religious atmosphere at home and school. The problem identified is that many parents inadvertently exacerbate these challenges by granting their children unrestricted access to gadgets at an early age, potentially hindering their character development. The research aims to explore how parental involvement, grounded in tenderness, affection, and Islamic principles, can effectively mitigate the adverse effects of technological advancements on children's upbringing. The study employs a qualitative research method through literature review and document analysis to gather insights into best practices and challenges faced by parents in modern parenting. The findings highlight that a proactive and balanced approach by parents, which includes setting boundaries on gadget usage, promoting religious values, and encouraging productive habits, significantly contributes to the development of EQ and SQ in children. This research underscores the importance of parental guidance in navigating the complexities of modern times and provides recommendations for fostering well-rounded and morally grounded individuals.

Abstract

The aim of this research is the influence of the use of audio-visual media in increasing motivation and learning outcomes in PAI and Character Education at SMPN 2 Blora.  Education is an effort to develop the potential and talents of students and must be carried out with planned and conscious efforts to make it happen in accordance with educational goals. To achieve maximum learning results, one of the learning strategies is using audio-visual media. This media will make learning more effective, interesting and not boring. The development of audio-visual media in learning has been widely used by PAI teachers in schools. There are various forms, including audio only, visual only or a combination of both in the form of moving films. Learning methods using audio-visual media will encourage changes in the role of teachers as centers of information in learning. If teachers are good at using audio-visual media in the learning process, it will influence student motivation and learning outcomes, both visual, auditory and kinesthetic. Effectiveness of using audio media. This visual will create learning motivation and student learning outcomes in Islamic Education and Character subjects at SMPN 2 Blora.

Abstract

Pendidikan sangat penting bagi kemajuan suatu bangsa karena memberikan masyarakat nilai-nilai, pengetahuan, dan kemampuan yang mereka butuhkan untuk menghadapi kesulitan-kesulitan zaman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan pengembangan media pembelajaran kreatif dan interaktif melalui teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pendidikan. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan, dimana seluruh data diambil melalui buku, jurnal dan dokumen yang berkaitan dengan tema penelitian, teknik analisis data dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa inovasi media pembelajaran berbasis TIK sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Dengan menggunakan berbagai alat dan teknologi, seperti platform e-learning, video pembelajaran, gamifikasi, dan AR/VR, proses belajar mengajar menjadi lebih interaktif dan menarik. Pendekatan ini membantu siswa meningkatkan keterampilan digital mereka sekaligus memungkinkan pembelajaran yang lebih fleksibel. Hasilnya, penggunaan TIK dalam pendidikan dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan lingkungan belajar yang lebih efisien dan kontemporer.

Abstract

Pendidikan tidak dapat dipisahkan dari aktivitas manusia dan pelaksanaannya akan selalu berdampak pada manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan integrasi teknologi informasi dalam kurikulum pendidikan agama Islam di Indonesia dengan menggunakan pendekatan teori difusi inovasi M. Rogers. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dan studi kepustakaan (library research), penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana teknologi informasi dapat diadopsi dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di Indonesia. Teori difusi inovasi digunakan untuk memahami proses penyebaran dan penerimaan teknologi dalam pendidikan agama, dengan fokus pada faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi adopsi teknologi oleh guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun teknologi informasi memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PAI, tantangan seperti kesesuaian materi dengan nilai-nilai Islam, keterbatasan infrastruktur, dan resistensi terhadap perubahan perlu diatasi. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti pentingnya peran guru dalam memfasilitasi adopsi teknologi dan memastikan penerapannya sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

This community service activity was motivated by the fact that Muhammadiyah Elementary/MI, SMP, and SMK/SMA teachers in Kartasura did not fully understand PTK. The aim of this community service is that it is hoped that: Elementary/MI/SMP/SMA/SMK Muhammadiyah teachers in Kartasura have the knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes in making PTK proposals, formulating problems, looking for a theoretical basis, collecting data, analyzing data, making PTK reports, and able to submit articles to accredited national journals. This community service is carried out using the approach: (1) Lecture; (2) Discussion; (3) Questions and Answers; (4 Tasks; (5) FGD (Forum Group Discussion). Participants in this training and mentoring are 30 teachers from SD/MI, SMP, and SMA/SMK Muhammadiyah in Kartasura. The place for PTK mentoring and training is in the Muhammadiyah University Postgraduate Building Surakarta. Follow-up training and mentoring PTK teachers were divided into three groups, namely the SD/MI teacher group; (2) the Middle School teacher group, and (3) the SMA/SMK teacher group. Each group made proposals and carried out research. The results of PTK training and mentoring are (1) PTK reports; and (3) Articles submitted to accredited national journals.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the strategies used by Islamic Religious Education teachers in overcoming students' difficulties in reading the Qur'an at SMP IT Masjid Syuhada Yogyakarta. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The research results show that at SMP IT Masjid Syuhada, the tilawati method is used by teachers as a strategy to help students who have difficulty reading the Qur'an. The teachers strive to make the learning process more effective and enjoyable so that the students can read the Quran correctly and fluently using the rost technique. With this method, it is hoped that students will not only learn to read the Qur'an but also understand the contents of the holy book. The tilawati method has several advantages and disadvantages. This method balances classical and individual learning, and uses a variety of songs to maintain student interest. However, some weaknesses that need to be considered are the longer time requirement, limited facilities, the need for trained teachers, and the challenge of adapting this method for students with varying abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the collaborative learning strategy based on Islamic values implemented by Islamic Education (PAI) teachers at Muhammadiyah 1 Senior High School Surakarta, to enhance pedagogical competence and strengthen students' character. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through participatory observation, document analysis, and semi-structured interviews with seven key informants: the school headmaster, the vice headmaster for curriculum, and five subject teachers involved in interdisciplinary collaboration. Observations were conducted over one month during the learning process's planning, implementation, and reflection phases. The findings reveal that the formation of cross-subject teacher teams, microlearning, and routine reflective forums are the core strategies successfully implemented. These strategies strengthened the integration of Islamic values across all subjects and enhanced teachers' creativity and digital literacy. The active involvement of the headmaster as a transformational leader further supported a culture of innovation and collaboration within the school environment. The theoretical contribution of this study lies in its integrative, collaborative model grounded in Islamic values, which other schools with similar contexts can adapt. These findings highlight the importance of supportive leadership, flexible curricula, and technology as a medium for value-based education. This research encourages the development of value-based learning strategies within collaborative teaching practices as part of a broader character-based educational transformation.

Abstract

Abstrak Media Pembelajaran merupakan hal krusial dalam proses pembelajaran yang digunakan sebagai bahan ajar. Media pembelajaran akan mempermudah interaksi antara pengajar dan siswa serta membantu proses belajar agar lebih optimal. Pembelajaran PAI menghadapi sejumlah tantangan kompleks di era digital, misalnya metode pengajaran yang masih konvensional dan kurang interaktif menyebabkan rendahnya keterlibatan siswa, sehingga perlu ada inovasi dalam menyediakan media pembelajaran menarik bagi guru dan siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis inovasi media digital berbasis TIK dalam pembelajaran PAI dan memaparkan alternatif solusi serta strategi inovasi bagi kendala dalam implementasi media digital berbasis TIK dalam pembelajaran PAI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pustaka yang menitikberatkan pada pengambilan referensi dari berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah dan sumber terkait lainnya yang relevan dengan media pembelajaran. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah inovasi digital yang dikembangkan saat ini sudah banyak sekali, misalnya penggunaan platform e-learning interaktif, seperti Moodle atau Google Classroom yang dilengkapi dengan video ceramah, kuis interaktif, dan forum diskusi. Selain itu ada aplikasi berbasis android seperti Qur’anic Companion dan Tajweed Tutor sebagai penunjang pembelajaran al-Qur’an, dan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) dan Virtual Reality (VR) yang membantu memvisualisasikan konsep abstrak dalam PAI. juga bisa digunakan untuk menghidupkan pembelajaran PAI. Kata Kunci: Inovasi, Media Pembelajaran, Digital, PAI Abstract Learning Media is crucial in the learning process which is used as teaching material. Learning media will facilitate interaction between teachers and students and help the learning process to be more optimal. PAI learning faces a number of complex challenges in the digital era, for example, less interactive teaching methods lead to low student engagement, so there needs to be innovation in providing interesting learning media for teachers and students. The purpose of this study is to analyze ICT-based digital media innovations in PAI learning and present alternative solutions and innovation strategies for obstacles in the implementation of ICT-based digital media in PAI learning. This research uses a literature approach that focuses on taking references from various sources such as books, scientific journals and other. The result of this research is that there are many digital innovations developed today, such as the use of interactive e-learning platforms, such as Google Classroom equipped with video lectures, interactive quizzes, and discussion forums. In addition, there are android-based applications such as Qur'anic Companion as a support for learning the Qur'an, and Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies that help visualize abstract concepts in PAI can also be used to support learning.
