Abstract

Coffee consumption in Indonesia has been growing every year from 2016 to 2021. Consumption coffee as a beverage or Ready to Drink (RTD) are increasingly significant in Indonesia specially in Coffee Shops and it is a trend in nowdays. The marketing mix should be conducted carefully as it is one of big aspects on business. This research aims to determine the effect of the marketing mix on costumer loyalty variables. This is explanatory research that explains the relationship and influence between one variable and another by submitting a hypothesis. This research used a sample of 100 respondents by online questionnaires distribution. The sample consisted of respondents who had visited Nakoa Coffee Shops in Malang. Data were analysed with multiple linear regression using the SPSS 21 program. The test results of the seven hypotheses concluded that marketing mix has a significant effect on costumer loyalty. This research is expected to become a reference for Nakoa Coffee Shops in Malang to improve and enhance their business performance in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the effects of product quality and service quality on the satisfaction of Bank Sinarmas’ customers. The effect to be identified is the direct effect of product quality and service quality on satisfaction. This explanatory research explains the causal relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. The sample of this research is 112 respondents who were selected using purposive sampling with the criteria of the customers of Bank Sinarmas. The assessment tools used in this study are research instrument test and classical assumption test performed in SPSS. The results of the analysis indicate that product quality and service quality can enhance customer satisfaction.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas produk, dan kualitas pelayanan, terhadap kepuasan nasabah Bank Sinarmas. Pengaruh yang ingin diketahui adalah pengaruh langsung kualitas produk, dan kualitas pelayanan, terhadap kepuasan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah explanatory research yang menjelaskan hubungan kausal antara variabel-variabel melalui pengujian hipotesis. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 112 responden. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan karakteristik merupakan nasabah Bank Sinarmas. Alat uji yang digunakan adalah uji instrumen penelitian dan uji asumsi klasik menggunakan program SPSS. Dari hasil pengujian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas produk dan kualitas pelayanan dapat mendorong kepuasan nasabah.

Abstract

This research was conducted to identify the partial and simultaneous effects of brand image, brand awareness, and perceived price on people’s intention to purchase GrabBike service provided by PT Grab Teknologi Indonesia, colloquially known as Grab. This explanatory research explains the causal relationship between variables being studied through hypothesis testing. Using non-probability sampling method and purposive sampling technique, 200 people with the minimum age of eighteen years who have used and are using GrabBike service at least once a week were selected as the respondents. The data of this study was analyzed using multiple linear regression in SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science). This research finds that brand image, brand awareness, and perceived price partially and simultaneously have positive and significant impact on the purchase decision and that brand image has the most significant effect. Furthermore, the results of the adjusted R-squared assessment indicate that the effects of the independent variables on the purchase decision of GrabBike service users (Y) is 60.1%.   Abstrak Adanya pembuatan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan keterikatan dari brand image, brand awareness, dan perceived price terhadap purchase decision yang terjadi pada layanan Grabbike dari PT Grab Teknologi Indonesia atau lebih sering dikenal sebagai Grab. Pengaruh yang penulis ingin teliti adalah pengaruh sebagian atau parsial dan juga pengaruh bersamaan atau simultan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan explanatory research yang mana menjelaskan hubungan kausal antara variabel-variabel yang diteliti dengan pengujian hipotesis. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dan metode purposive sampling pada 200 responden yang berdomisili di Kota Malang dengan karakteristik usia minimal 18 (delapan belas) tahun dan tentunya pernah atau sedang melakukan pembelian layanan Grabbike minimal 1 kali dalam seminggu. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan aplikasi dari SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) untuk pengujian regresi linear berganda. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial maupun simultan dari setiap variabel brand image, brand awareness, dan perceived price terhadap purchase decision dimana variabel yang paling berpengaruh secara signifikan adalah brand image. Selain itu pada hasil pengujian adjusted R-squared ditemukan bahwa keberpengaruhan dari setiap variabel independen terhadap purchase decision konsumen Grabbike (Y) sebesar 60,1%.

Abstract

The business activities of companies in their business operations are inseparable from the influence of their business environments. The current global competition has required companies to develop their business systems by planning management systems and renewable strategies. Those measures must be taken in order to achieve their vision and mission in the future, from which they will be able to compete as the changes come from sources beyond their control. The goal of this study is to formulate an appropriate business strategy for CV Srikandi for higher competitiveness. The data of this qualitative descriptive research was harvested from interviews and documentations at the Malang Cite-based company. This study finds that the most appropriate business strategy for the company is the W-T strategy found in the SWOT analysis. Here the company is advised to make improvements in marketing, human resource, finance, and operation in order to get higher competitiveness.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the implementation of employee’s work motivation at Bank Sinarmas Syariah in Malang. This research uses theories related to human resource management and motivation in human resource. The research object is the Islamic Business Unit of PT Bank Sinarmas in the branch office of Malang. This qualitative descriptive study uses the phenomenological approach. The primary data was harvested through interviews, observations, and documentation, which was analyzed using Moustaka’s data analysis theory. This model consists of data reduction, data elimination, data bracketing, data thematization, and data synthesis. Source triangulation and theoretical triangulation were used to validate the data. This study finds that the bank has used various forms and processes to implement the work motivation of its employees and that those forms and processes have been in line with theories related to work motivation as presented by experts.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program by the Regional Office of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk in Malang. The program was implemented using the Triple Bottom Line concept known as the 3Ps, consisting of profit, people, and planet, in order to create corporate image. The data of this qualitative descriptive research was harvested from documentation and interviews with the office’s logistics staff as the executor of the program. This study finds that the Regional Office of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia has carried out its Corporate Social Responsibility program well and harmoniously based on the Triple Bottom Line. Past studies have found that there are components of the program which were not optimally implemented and irrelevant to be applied this year. Therefore, this research suggests the office (a) to supervise its CSR activities, (b) to conduct controlling to ensure the accuracy of the program, (c) to maintain the consistency of its CSR implementation, and (d) to take advantage from the positive impacts for the company’s sustainability and the attainment of Good Corporate Governance (GCG).

Abstract

The objective of this research is to explore to what extent knowledge management enhances the quality of an education service. This research was conducted at Thursina International Islamic Boarding School, an education institution in Malang. The data of this qualitative research was harvested from observations, library research, and interviews with two key informants, i.e., the Principal of Academic and the IT Project Leader, and three supporting informants. This research finds that the good implementation of knowledge management increases the services provided by the education institution. Knowledge management contributes to the enhancement of service quality aspects from tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and insurance. However, the application of knowledge management in Thursina International Islamic Boarding School is still hampered by different capabilities between employees in using knowledge management facilities and by employee turnover.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi sejauh mana peran implementasi knowledge management dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan. Penelitian diterapkan pada suatu lembaga pendidikan yaitu Thursina Internasional Islamic Boarding School, Malang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Narasumber kunci dalam penelitian ini adalah Principal of Academic & IT Project Leader dan tiga narasumber pendukung lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan pengimplementasian knowledge management yang baik memiliki peran positif dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan yang diberikan. Peran tersebut berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan aspek kualitas layanan yang diberikan mulai dari bukti langsung, kehandalan, responsivitas, jaminan, dan asuransi. Selain itu, ditemukan beberapa kendala yang berpotensi untuk menghambat penerapan knowledge mangement yang ada di Thursina IIBS. Seperti kemampuan yang berbeda-beda diantara para karyawan dalam memanfaatkan fasilitas knowledge management dan kerap terjadinya turn over karyawan.

Abstract

In order to keep up with the competition in promotion service industry, PT Dua Cipta Mahakarya has applied a business strategy derived from analyses on its internal and external environments using SWOT matrix, IFE matrix, EFE matrix, IE matrix, and QSPM. Those analyses have helped the company determine its strategy more easily, from which policies that are feasible for the business’ smooth running can be taken. The objective of this research is to identify strategies that must be applied by PT Dua Cipta Mahakarya to face the increasing business competition and to increase sales. One of the ways that can be taken to decide the appropriate strategy is conducting analyses on SWOT, IFE matrix, EFE matrix, IE matrix, and QSPM. This research uses observations, in-depth interviews, library research, and questionnaires to acquire both primary and secondary data, which were then analyzed descriptively. This study finds that the alternate strategies that can be applied by PT Dua Cipta Mahakarya is market development by increasing promotional activities through websites and social media aimed at reaching for new market targets.   Abstrak  Menghadapi ketatnya persaingan usaha jasa dibidang promosi sejenis, maka PT Dua Cipta Mahakarya menerapkan strategi bisnis dengan menganalisis lingkungan internal dan eksternal dengan bantuan analisis SWOT, matriks IFE, matriks EFE, matriks IE, matriks SWOT dan matriks QSPM. Setelah dilakukannya analisis maka pengambilan strategi akan lebih mudah untuk dilakukan dengan menciptakan kebijakan yang dapat menunjang kelancaran usaha terutama dalam pengambilan keputusan strateginya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang harus diambil oleh PT. Dua Cipta Mahakarya dalam menghadapi tingginya tingkat persaingan usaha dan meningkatkan penjualan. Salah satu cara untuk menentukan strategi usaha adalah dengan melakukan analisis SWOT, matriks IFE, EFE, IFE, matriks SWOT, dan matriks QSPM. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara mendalam (indepth interview), studi Pustaka, dan kuesioner guna mendapatkan data primer dan sekunder, dengan teknik pembahasan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan alternatif strategi yang dapat dijalankan PT. Dua Cipta Mahakarya yaitu pengembangan pasar dengan meningkatkan kegiatan promosi melalui website dan media sosial yang bertujuan untuk dapat menjangkau target pasar yang baru.

Abstract

The inability of an educational institution to respond to opportunities and threats will reduce its competitiveness and hinder the performance achievement of its educational unit. The objective of this research is to analyze and identify the appropriate development strategy for Sekolah Khusus Kak Seto, a special education institution, using Meta-SWOT analysis. This approach examines two influential environmental factors from the internal side of the company using Resource-Based View and the external side using PESTEL. The results of the Resource-Based View analysis show that Sekolah Khusus Kak Seto has eighteen resources and capabilities which are rarely had and difficult to imitate by its competitors and have been well managed. The results of the PESTEL analysis show that the external factors that can create both opportunities and threats for the school. Based on the results of the Meta-SWOT analysis, Sekolah Khusus Kak Seto is in the first quadrant of the grand strategy matrix. Therefore, the most appropriate strategies for the school are market penetration, market development, and product development.   Abstrak Ketidakmampuan suatu satuan lembaga pendidikan dalam merespon peluang dan ancaman eksternal, akan mengakibatkan menurunnya daya saing atau terhambatnya pencapaian kinerja satuan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui pengembangan strategi yang sesuai dengan Sekolah Khusus Kak Seto menggunakan pendekatan Meta-SWOT. Pendekatan ini menganalisis dua faktor lingkungan yang berpengaruh dari sisi internal perusahaan menggunakan analisis Resource Based View dan juga eksternal perusahaan menggunakan analisis PESTEL. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus.  Hasil analisis Resource Based View menunjukkan bahwa sumber daya dan kapabilitas Sekolah Khusus Kak Seto yang jarang dimiliki oleh pesaing, sulit ditiru oleh pesaing, dan sudah dikelola dengan baik oleh perusahaan terdapat delapan belas poin. Hasil analisis PESTEL menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor eksternal yang dapat memberikan peluang maupun ancaman untuk Sekolah Khusus Kak Seto. Berdasarkan hasil analisis Meta-SWOT, Sekolah Khusus Kak Seto berada pada kuadran satu grand strategy matrix, maka pengembangan strategi yang tepat dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan penetrasi pasar, pengembangan pasar, dan pengembangan produk.

Abstract

MSMEs can increase and optimize organizational performance when they apply knowledge management and observe to implement innovation during this digital era. The objectives of this research are to analyze the effects of knowledge management on organizational performance and to assess and analyze the impact of innovation on organizational performance. This explanatory research corroborates the relationship between its variables through hypothesis testing. Using saturated sampling technique, all 33 owners of MSMEs engaged in the production of shoes in the Cibaduyut industrial center were selected as the respondents. The data was harvested via Likert-scaled questionnaires and processed in SPSS 24. The variables included in this research are knowledge management, innovation, and organizational performance. The hypothesis testing was conducted using t-test, F test, and coefficient of determination test. The results of the analysis indicate that knowledge management positively and significantly influences organizational performance, that innovation positively and significantly influences organizational performance, and that knowledge management and innovation simultaneously have positive and significant impact on organizational performance by 55.6%.   Abstrak UMKM dapat meningkatkan dan memaksimalkan kinerja organisasi saat menerapkan knowledge management dan mengamati untuk mengimplementasikan inovasi yang terjadi di era digital seperti saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh knowledge management terhadap kinerja organisasi dan menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh inovasi terhadap kinerja organisasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah explanatory research yang menjelaskan hubungan antara variabel-variabel melalui pengujian hipotesis. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 33 responden dari setiap pengelola di UMKM Sepatu Sentra Sepatu Cibaduyut. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh dikarenakan menggunakan semua populasi menjadi sampel dengan pengumpulan data kuesioner dengan skala likert. Analisis data menggunakan alat uji SPSS 24. variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah knowledge management dan inovasi terhadap kinerja organisasi. Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji-t, uji-f, dan uji koefisien deteminasi. Hasil dari pengujian ini menyimpulkan bahwa variabel knowledge management berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi, inovasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi, dan knowledge management dan inovasi berpengaruh positif sebesar 55,6% secara simultan terhadap kinerja organisasi.
