Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of word of mouth and experience quality on the decision of choosing a school with the mediation of perceived value and brand image. The population of this study is 102 parents who had sent their children to Surya Buana Kindergarten and Playgroup and sent their children to Surya Buana Islamic Elementary School following their graduation, all of which were selected as the sample. This study uses a quantitative approach which is based on research problems and research objective and is categorized as explanatory research. The samples were selected using nonprobability sampling, which means that information retrieval carried out in the population does not have any inherent probability of being chosen as the sample subject. Sampling is limited to certain types of people who can provide the desired information or commonly referred to as Purposive Sampling. The instrument used in this study is questionnaires that were analyzed in SmartPLS 3.0. This study finds that word of mouth and experience quality is insignificant for decision making. However, they are significant for decision making if mediated by perceived value and brand image. Next researches can incorporate variables that influence decision making such as satisfaction, price, demographic variable and other variables to be able to improve strategies in improving decision making in school selection.

Abstract

This research has a purpose to describe about business environment, Knowledge sharing behavior, innovation and performance at Small Medium Enterprise (SME's) that produce. This research involving manage 45 SME's as research samples, and using descriptive qualitative "oleh-oleh khas Malang" in Malang Raya-East Java. This research investigate about "How SME's can adapt to change with environment (their: competitors, customer behavior, regulation, etc), innovation, knowledge sharing behavior, and performance. Results of the research are: 1) raw material "soybean" sometimes there is a difficult to get it because must import from America, and for fruit chips faced scarcity because depend on the season of the fruits. 2) Knowledge sharing behavior at SME's through direct communication, but they always adaptive to change with customer taste to give customer satisfaction and to achieve sustainable competitive advantage on their industry. 3) Innovation showed from packaging and originally taste each fruits and SME's feels have high performance because they have loyality customer and high quality, by the way SME's products have delicious taste, unique taste and suitable with customer taste.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the effect of organizational culture, compensation, and motivation on job satisfaction and employee performance of oil palm plantations at Katari Agro Estate, PT. Bumitama Gunajaya Agro, Central Kalimantan Province. The research sample of 200 plantation direct employees was selected by accidental sampling method from 428 populations. Data were collected using a questionnaire and then analyzed by variant-based Structural Equation Model (SEM) or Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the analysis prove that organizational culture, compensation, and motivation directly have a significant effect on job satisfaction. Organizational culture, compensation, and motivation have a significant direct effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction directly has a significant effect on employee performance. The indirect effect between organizational culture and motivation on performance through job satisfaction is not significant. The indirect effect between compensation on performance through job satisfaction has significant. The study results have implications for organizational culture, compensation, and employee motivation that need to be improved to increase job satisfaction and employee performance. Suggestions for further research include exploring research by adopting qualitative studies to explain the symptom further and focusing on the influence of organizational culture, compensation, and motivation on indirect employee or managerial employee groups.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of paternalistic leadership on Gen-Y employees'turnover intentions, mediated by motivation and satisfaction. The research used 186 samples of Gen-Y employees from BCA Regional Office, Malang as respondents. Research data were obtained through questionnaires and analyzed through SmartPLS. The results indicate that paternalistic leadership affects Gen-Yemployees'turnover intentions through satisfaction.Mediation effect of motivation is not found in the influence of paternalistic leadership on turnover intention.The implementation of paternalistic leadership cannot keep turnover rate low, but only to help.

Abstract

This study aims to see the strategies of Asmorobangun art studio in preserving the existence of Wayang Topeng Malangan. This study uses the descriptive qualitative method with phenomenology approach. Phenomenology shows a philosophical approach to understand human experience based on the idea that human experience can not be separated from their subjectivity itself and it is determined by the context in which human lives (Zigmund and Babin, 2007: p.136). The finding shows that in terms of maintaining the existence of Wayang Topeng Malangan, Asmorobangun art studio applies these following strategies: 1). Shortening the dance performance; 2). Developing the marketing media using the internet; 3). Product diversification of Topeng Malangan Souvenirs; and 4). Providing a learning lesson about Wayang Topeng Malangan.

Abstract

xThe objective of the research is to understand the effect of compensation and work environment on work satisfaction and performance. Research population is the employee of Bank BTPN Malang Branchfor 68 people. Inferential Statistic Method is used in the data analysis, by utilizing Generalized Structural Component Analysis (GSCA). In this research, the direct and indirect effects of compensation and work environment on work satisfaction and performance are examined. Result of research indicates that there is a significant direct effect of compensation on work satisfaction. However, a significant direct effect of compensation on employee performance is absent. The employee often considers the wage, salary, and welfare indicators as low. Therefore, the manager is forced to produce a better match between wage, salary and welfare which are given to the employee to improve performance. There was no significant direct effectof work environment on work satisfaction, but there is significant indirect effect of work environment on work satisfaction through employee performance. It seems that the intermediate (intervening) is very necessaryfor the effect of employee performance on work satisfaction. There is a significant reci procal effect of work satisfaction on employee performance.

Abstract

Pujon adalah sebuah kecamatan di Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur, yang dikenal dengan keindahan alamnya serta kondisi geografis yang mendukung berbagai kegiatan agraris. Terletak di dataran tinggi dengan ketinggian rata-rata sekitar 1.100 meter di atas permukaan laut, Pujon memiliki iklim yang sejuk dan curah hujan yang tinggi. Keadaan ini menjadikan Pujon tidak hanya sebagai tujuan wisata yang menarik, tetapi juga sebagai kawasan strategis untuk kegiatan peternakan dan pertanian. Wilayah ini dikelilingi oleh pegunungan yang subur, yang menyediakan sumber daya alam melimpah seperti rumput hijauan untuk pakan ternak dan air bersih yang memadai untuk kebutuhan peternakan. Selain potensi alamnya, Pujon juga memiliki sejarah panjang dalam pengelolaan peternakan sapi perah. Sejarah ini bermula setelah kemerdekaan Indonesia, yaitu berdirinya Koperasi Susu SAE Pujon pada tahun 1962. Koperasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan peternak melalui pengelolaan pemasaran yang lebih baik dan terorganisir. Kemitraan strategis antara Koperasi SAE dan PT. Nestle Indonesia pada tahun 1975 menjadi salah satu faktor utama yang memperkuat posisi Pujon sebagai sentra peternakan sapi perah. Kemitraan ini tidak hanya memberikan jaminan pasar bagi peternak, tetapi juga mendorong mereka untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksi susu. Data menunjukkan bahwa pada tahun 2010, Pujon memiliki lebih dari 26.000 anggota koperasi dengan produksi susu mencapai lebih dari 41 juta liter per tahun. Peternak Sapi Perah Pujon-Ngantang menghadapi tantangan utama dalam pengelolaan peternakan sapi perah, meliputi pakan ternak yang kurang berkualitas dan pengelolaan limbah kotoran sapi yang belum optimal. Masalah tersebut berdampak pada produktivitas susu, kualitas produk, dan lingkungan sekitar. Hal ini berdampak pada penurunan produktivitas dan kualitas susu, serta masalah lingkungan. Dalam rangka meningkatkan produktivitas ternak maka dengan dilaksanakannya pengabdian kepada masyarakat hibah profesor 2024 sangatlah bermanfaat dan berdampak positif. Solusi yang dilaksanakan meliputi pelatihan mengenai praktik pembuatan pakan ternak (complete feed), olahan susu berupa produk yogurt, pengolahan limbah menjadi biogas dan pupuk yang mendukung ramah lingkungan di seluruh tahapan produksi, dan pemberian bantuan teknologi tepat guna berupa alat pencacah (chopper) makanan ternak. Luaran dari kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keberdayaan dan kemandirian peternak sapi perah, serta memberikan dampak positif pada pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDGs). Luaran wajib yang disyaratkan meliputi prosiding seminar nasional, publikasi media massa, dan peningkatan daya saing produk. Luaran tambahan adalah pemanfaatan teknologi tepat guna.Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan keberdayaan berkelanjutan dan kemandirian mitra sesuai permasalahan yang dihadapi melalui penerapan green supply chain, kemudian untuk luaran wajib yang disyaratkan adalah prosiding seminar nasional, publikasi media massa cetak/online, peningkatan daya saing berupa kualitas produk dan pemanfaatan sumber daya lainnya seperti pengolahan limbah menjadi biogas dan pupuk.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on company performance through strategic agility. This research uses the SEM analysis method with WarpPLS software. The sample of this study consisted of 204 actors and strategic decision-makers of green economy SMEs in Malang areas. The unit of analysis in this study is the green economy SME business players in the business of flower, fruit, and ornamental plants. This business field was chosen because it is environmentally friendly, the waste has minimal risk of environmental damage, and this business is at the same time healthy for the environment for business people, employees, and consumers. Data collection was collected by distributing questionnaires directly or via a Google Form. This study proves that entrepreneurial orientation has a direct and positive effect on improving company performance. This study has proven that entrepreneurial orientation positively affects company performance both directly and through strategic agility, so it can be concluded that strategic agility can partially mediate the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on company performance. The application of strategic agility/agility is proven to improve company performance. This study can enrich the study of strategic management theory in the context of Strategic Agility in a green economy. SMEs’ owners and managers improve their performance by increasing entrepreneurial orientation and strengthening strategic agility.

Abstract

Abstrak  :  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan CSR ( Corporate Social Responsibility  ) dan mengetahui bagaimana penilaian masyarakat akan program CSR pada PT. Sari Husada. CSR merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan citra perusahaan dimata masyarakat, sehingga dapat menjadi baik dimata masyarakat.  Penelitian ini menggunakan Analisis SWOT dalam pengambilan strateginya. Dari hasil penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa penilaian masyarakat terhadap Program CSR Sari Husada mendapat respon positif dari masyarakat. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari membaiknya  kondisi dankeadaan masyarakat yang mendapatkan bantuan dari program CSR PT. Sari Husada. Sehingga citra PT. Sari Husada dimata masyarakat meningkat. Abstract  : The purpose from this research is to know how theimplementation of Sari Husada’s CSR ( Corporate Social Responsibility )  and  to know how  the society’s value about CSR ( Corporate Social Responsibility ) from Sari Husada. CSR is one from a lot of way to attratct society or community’s attention so Sari Husada’s image can develop in the society’s view.  This research use SWOT Analysis in the way to choose main strategy and alternate strategy.  The result from the research, we can see that Society’s valuation to this Sari Husada’s CSR Program have growth, and get the postive interest from the society /  community. We can see, that the better situation and condition in society which got assistance from Sari Husada’s CSR. Abstract

The objects studied and the areas studied in this research are how a business can maintain sustainability and increase its business competitiveness, in this case, cooperatives in the city of Malang, as well as to grow the community's economy through the implementation of entrepreneurship-oriented strategies, the business environment towards innovation and performance strategies cooperative. The role of cooperatives in creating jobs and improving the welfare of their members with the principle that cooperatives are run "from, by, and for their members." The business world, primarily cooperatives, and small and medium enterprises, faces various challenges and must achieve Performance that will increase competitiveness and maintain business sustainability. For this reason, cooperatives must be more creative, innovative, agile, and intelligent in implementing their strategies. This research examines and analyzes the relationship between the business environment, entrepreneurial orientation, innovation, and Performance. Business in the era of information technology requires organizations to adapt to environmental changes and business competition, which is increasingly stringent, requiring cooperatives to provide products and services that are more market-oriented in order to be able to produce innovations that are in line with technological advances and market segments, so that Performance will increase.
