Abstract

Analog rice can be used as a diversification and substitution of rice, in order to overcome the shortage of rice production, breadfruit become the choice in making analog rice because of its very much growth in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of tapioca flour concentration in making analog rice which is the main raw material for breadfruit flour. The process of making analog rice includes weighing the ingredients, mixing the ingredients, granulating the ingredients, and giving water. This research method is mixing breadfruit flour with tapioca flour with five levels, namely 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% tapioca flour with the testing stage is analog rice steaming, rice drying, measurement of test parameters, data and test results parameters, then the parameters observed were (water absorption, grain diameter, water absorption, bulk density and proximate). The more tapioca flour additions, the analog rice water content increased ie the first treatment was 7.11% while the fifth treatment was 7.91%. The more tapioca flour is added, the less weight percentage with grain size <2 mm while the percentage weight with 4.7 mm grain size is getting higher. Then the addition of tapioca flour to water absorption decreased the first treatment by 102.69% and the fifth treatment was 88.01%.

Abstract

This research aims to design, manufacture and test a parallel type smoker which has an output that can be controlled and has uniform temperature in each smoker cabinet. In this research, design, assembly, testing and temperature regulation were carried out. This parallel type smoker has 3 main parts, namely the combustion stove, inlet pipe, and smoking cupboard. In the inlet pipe there is a faucet which functions as a control for the smoke output and temperature from the combustion stove to the smoking cupboard. In terms of testing, this tool was tested in several stages, namely trial 1, trial 2, and performance test. After the test is complete, the final stage is carried out, namely equalizing the temperature in each cupboard. The trial phase 1 was carried out with treatment on the operation of the smoke cupboard. Where the stages of operation of all cupboards are carried out simultaneously, then operation of 2 cupboards is carried out and one path is closed alternately. The results showed that the tool experienced problems in the form of unstable temperatures and leaks in the smoker cupboard, so it required patching with silicon. After design improvements have been made, trial 2 and performance testing are continued. Trial 2 was carried out to find out whether the tool still had problems or not before carrying out a performance test. The treatment for trial 2 was the same as that given during trial 1. As a result, the device had no leaks and the temperature was stable and the device was ready to operate at the 15th minute. After that, a performance test was carried out which had the same stages as trials 1 and 2. This is intended to see whether the tool is in accordance with the results during testing or not. After the performance test is carried out, the final stage is to equalize the temperature in each cupboard to produce the same and stable temperature. This equalization is done by adjusting the opening of the faucet valve on the inlet pipe. The results obtained were a parallel type smoker which had 3 smoking cabinets with the same temperature around 37oC. Abstract

Perawatan perineum yang kurang tepat dapat menyebabkan beberapa masalah yang dapat mempengaruhi penyembuhan luka. Faktor status gizi yang buruk dan praktik pantang makan yang tidak tepat dapat menghambat penyembuhan luka. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi ibu pasca persalinan untuk menerima perawatan perineum yang tepat, termasuk asupan nutrisi seimbang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan status gizi ibu nifas dan budaya makanan pantangan masa nifas dengan penyembuhan luka perineum di Klinik Annisa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu nifas yang mengalami luka perineum di Klinik Annisa Boyolali dengan rumus Krejcie & Morgan yaitu 42 orang yang dipilih dengan purposive sampling. Alat ukur berupa kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada ibu nifas meliputi pengetahuan tentang status gizi, penyembuhan perineum serta budaya pantang makan. Uji statistic yang digunakan ialah Chi-Square. Hasil analisis statistic menggunakan uji chi square menunjukkan ada hubungan status gizi (p=0,00) dan budaya pantang makan (p=0,00) dengan penyembuhan luka perineum di Klinik Annisa Boyolali. Penelitian ini menyimpukan hubungan budaya pantang makanan dengan penyembuhan luka perineum dapat mempengaruhi asupan nutrisi ibu baru setelah persalinan. Peneliti menyarankan bagi ibu nifas untuk memperhatikan praktik makanan yang sesuai setelah persalinan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan deskripsi terkait kecenderungan emak-emak untuk memberikan suaranya pada salah satu capres yang berlaga di Pilpres 2024. Pertanyaan penelitian meliputi apakah kecenderungan emak-emak untuk memberikan suara pada ketiga calon presiden (Prabowo Subianto, Anies Baswedan, dan Ganjar Pranowo) di Pilpres 2024 sama atau berbeda. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian meliputi seluruh masyarakat yang bermukim di Kabupaten Pemalang, Kabupaten Pekalongan, dan Kabupaten Batang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling. Sementara instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian berupa kuesioner. Teknik analis data menggunakan pengujian hipotesis melalui metode Kruskal-Wallis. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kecenderungan emak-emak untuk memberikan suara pada ketiga calon presiden di Pilpres 2024 adalah sama. Emak-emak memiliki kecenderungan yang sama untuk memberikan suaranya pada ketiga capres yakni, Anies Baswedan, Prabowo Subianto, dan Ganjar Pranowo. Tidak ada kecenderungan suara emak-emak tertuju pada salah satu calon presiden di Pilpres 2024. Berdasarkan jawaban yang diberikan responden emak-emak terhadap model perilaku memilihnya, terbanyak 37% responden mendasarkan pada model pilihan rasional, disusul sebanyak 32% responden emak-emak mendasarkan perilaku memilihnya pada model psikologi dan sisanya sebanyak 31% responden emak-emak mendasarkan perilaku memilihnya pada model sosiologis.

Abstract

Tobacco is one of the agricultural products that serves as a main commodity for farmers in Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency. East Lampung Regency is the largest tobacco-producing area in Lampung Province. This Community Service activity aims to provide training on tobacco cutting machine technology, tobacco marketing, and to disseminate information by introducing tobacco cutting machine technology. This service is beneficial for tobacco farmers as it reduces the time required for cutting tobacco, which positively impacts the quantity of cigarette production and increases farmers' income. The results of the community service conducted by the University of Lampung team in Taman Cari Village, Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency provide significant benefits for tobacco farmers in processing tobacco leaves into ready-to-roll tobacco (TSG).

Abstract

Chinese Cabbage is a perishable commodity perishable because it has the characteristics of a living being and does not have the ability to sustain its life. In general, mustard greens are only stored in sacks. This method can cause damage to the mustard leaves and damage to other parts. Therefore the aim of this research is to analyze the freshness of the vegetables after they are harvested and given supply plant nutrients to extend the shelf life of vegetables. This study used a completely randomized design with 6 different treatments. In the first treatment (A) it was carried out with a box filled with clean water without nutrients. The second treatment (B) to the 5th treatment were sequentially added AB mix nutrition of 2 ml, 5 ml, 10 ml and 50 ml. Treatment 6 (F) was stored without water. Observations were made every 2 days for 6 days so that the total observation was 12 days and stored at room temperature. All treatments were repeated 3 times to obtain 18 experimental units. The results showed that the provision of 5 ml of nutrition had an effect on freshness as indicated by a low weight loss and root growth. Provision of more than 5 ml of nutrients in maintaining the freshness of the chinese cabbage has a bad impact because it causes rotting of the chinese cabbage. Keywords:  Chinese Cabbage, Effect, Freshness, Nutrition, Storage.

Abstract

.  Tarum (Indigofera zollingerina) is a land plant belonging to the Leguminosa family. This plant grows widely in Sumatra and Java. Tarum leaf flour contains crude protein, crude fat or ether extract and crude fiber. Tarum leaf flour contains mineral content, namely Ca, P, Mg and complete amino acids and is almost the same as soybean meal. The population of beef cattle and goats in Indonesia is currently continuing to increase, it is recorded that the population of beef cattle in Indonesia in 2022 will be around 18,061,000 heads and 19,397,960 goats spread throughout Indonesia.  Where is the data on the population of beef cattle and goats increased compared to the previous year (2021) which was only 18,053,710 head of cattle and 19,229,067 head of goats. The use of hybrid dryers is an effective choice for drying Tarum leaves. Testing materials using electricity and solar energy (hybrid) was carried out for 8 hours. Testing materials using an oven was carried out for 6 hours. Tests using direct solar energy (traditional) were carried out drying for 12 hours. Proximate analysis is one way that has often been used to determine the value of nutrient content in raw materials or food. From the results of testing the proximate content of Tarum leaf flour using a hybrid dryer obtained; moisture content 10.52%, protein 22.47%, fat 11.69%, fiber 8.75%, ash content 10.70% and BETN 35.87%. Drying using oven obtained; moisture content 10.98%, protein 17.54%, fat 12.87% fiber 6.78%, ash content 9.72% and BETN 42.11%. Drying using direct solar energy (traditional) obtained; moisture content 12.31%, protein 18.54%, fat 8.64%, fiber 8.54%, ash content 14.27% and BETN 37.7%. Keywords:  Drying, Hybrid, Proximate Test, Tarum.

Abstract

The growth of development that continues to increase in each region results in reduced water catchment areas, to overcome this it is necessary to create artificial recharge. Artificial infiltration aims to preserve groundwater as a source of life to be maintained, for reasons of beauty many building service users prefer paving blocks as an alternative to pavement covering the ground surface, installations that have gaps on the sides of the paving can transmit water by 30-50% . Paving block is a building material composed of portland cement, aggregate, water, with or without additives but does not reduce the quality of the paving itself. Porous paving blocks are paving blocks made from added materials in the form of biomass waste, one of which is teak wood sawdust. This research was conducted to make porous paving blocks with quality standard D, which are used for parks floor and other uses. The composition of the materials used were cement and sand (1:3), added with teak sawdust in the treatment of P1 as much as 2%, P2 as much as 4%, P3 as much as 6%, and P4 as much as 8% of the total weight of the material 2.5 kg. Based on (SNI 03-0691-1996), paving block sizes have a minimum thickness of 60 mm with a tolerance of ±8%. The porous paving block produced meets SNI standards with side lengths of 100 mm and thicknesses varying between 56 – 72 mm. Paving blocks with quality standard D have a minimum compressive strength value of 8.5 MPa and a maximum water absorption capacity of 10%. The results of this research shown the paving block P1 treatment has an average compressive strength value of 16.05 MPa with an average water absorption capacity of 6.89% which are in paving block type D quality standard range. Keywords: Leachate, Paving Block Porous, Teak Wood Sawdust, Waste.
