Abstract

Edupark is a park with a variety of rides and ecosystems that can be used as a learning tool. Ngarai Sianok, Bukittinggi is a national Geopark area that has a nature tourism vehicle and Minang Fantasy (MiFan) Padang Panjang Water Park is an artificial tourist game vehicle. In general, visitors to attractions only take advantage of the natural landscape or a vehicle to take photos, sports such as jogging, hiking, camping, family gathering or low impact outbound. Without them knowing it, there are many physics concepts in both natural and artificial games that can be used as learning resources by integrating into high school physics learning in the form of physics teaching materials or integrated in learning models. However, there are actually educa-tional values, especially the physical concepts contained in the game. The purpose of this study is to integrate Edupark Ngarai Sianok and MiFan Water Park because it remembers so many Physics concepts found in natural or artificial tourism. The process of collecting data through observation and study of literature. The results showed that Edupark physics could be integrated in learning physics according to the 2013 curriculum

Abstract

Students' critical thinking skills are still not optimal. One of the reasons is the use of teaching materials in the form of student worksheets that are not yet in line with the good student worksheet structure, do not yet contain the STEM approach, and critical thinking indicators have not been clearly illustrated in the student worksheet. The purpose of this study is to determine the validity of the LKPD, determine the practicality and effectiveness of using student worksheet Physics based on the STEM approach that can improve students' critical thinking. This type of research is research and development (R&D) using the Borg & Gall model which consists of the initial research and information gathering stage, planning, developing the initial product format, and initial trials. As the object of research is the Physics student worksheet based on the STEM approach. Data collection instruments used were expert validation sheets, practicality test sheets, and effectiveness test sheets. The effectiveness test uses an assessment sheet of learning outcomes tests and observation sheets of students' critical thinking. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of the validity of the Physics student worksheet, the practicality analysis of the use of the Physics student worksheet, and the effectiveness analysis of the use of the Physics student worksheet. Based on the analysis of the data that has been done, two research results can be put forward. First, the average value of the validity of the Physics student worksheet based on the STEM approach is 0.88 and this value is included in the valid category. Second, the average value of the practicality test for the use of Physics student worksheet by teachers and students respectively 91.44 and 84.14. This value shows the Physics student worksheet is in the category of very practical. Besides that, the use of Physics student worksheet based on the STEM approach is effective to improve students' critical thinking

Abstract

Standard competency of graduate students of class XI in Physics learning is considered not optimal. One of the contributing factors is the unavailability of the Physics E-Module, which contains model steps and is integrated with a learning approach in order to direct students in active learning. This study aims to produce a Physics E-Module based on an integrated project-based learning model with an Ethno-STEM approach on smartphones for class XI high school students with valid, practical, and effective criteria. This is development research using the Plomp development model consisting of three stages: Preliminary Research, Development or Prototyping Phase, and Assessment Phase. The instruments used in this research include three questionnaires for preliminary study, validity and practicality, attitude observation sheets, written test sheets, and skills assessment sheets. The result obtained was a Physics E-Module based on an integrated project-based learning model with the Ethno-STEM approach on smartphones for class XI high school students who meet valid, practical, and effective criteria.

Abstract

Abstract

This article discusses the design of a robust data interface system that displays an electric current using the GMR sensor. Robust measurement of electrical current to detect magnetic fields contained in the current-carrying wire. The magnetic field on the cable should be the input signal to the GMR sensor to be processed by the interface program. This interface used the Arduino IDE program and displayed in the LCD screen. This research is an experimental research laboratory. The results of the data interface can be displayed in the form of comparative measurements with the power of the conventional electric current. Comparison measurements can be viewed in graphical form. The results of the study have an average measurement accuracy of 91.2%, with an average of 0.96. Besides, this study also obtained a standard deviation of 0.21 and an average error of 0:08.

Abstract

In general, the population in Indonesia is a farmer. This causes farmers to need information about the weather to carry out agricultural activities. One way to obtain information about the weather is to use the Rain Gauge instrument. In this study, the Rain Gauge instrument at LAPAN Kototabang from 2020 to 2021 was compared with the Optical Rain Gauge instrument. This research uses descriptive research with secondary data in the form of rainfall intensity data that has been measured on the Rain Gauge and Optical Rain Gauge from LAPAN Kototabang. This research was conducted to analyze the output data from the Rain Gauge and Optical Rain Gauge in the form of rainfall intensity, rainfall accumulation, and time. From the data analysis, two results can be stated from this research. First, the analysis of the rainfall parameter data that has been processed shows that the rainfall in Kototabang in January - October 2020 and 2021 has a high rainfall value. This causes the intensity of rainfall in Kototabang to be categorized as heavy rain. The two accumulations of rainfall in 2020 and 2021 in the Kototabang area are 497.031 mm and 0.602 mm using the Rain Gauge. While the measurement using Optical Rain Gauge rainfall intensity is 0.207 mm and 0.221 mm. This proves that the intensity of rainfall in 2020 is greater than the intensity of rainfall in 2021.
