Abstract

This study was conducted because of the low mastery of student concepts caused by the lack of variation in learning models and media. This study aims to determine the increase in student concept mastery after the TGT model assisted by snakes and ladders media is applied. This study is a quantitative study using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This study was conducted at UPTD SMP Negeri 3 Bangkalan with a sample of class VII D. The research data collection technique used a concept mastery test. The data analysis technique used was the N-Gain test. The results of the study that can be concluded are that there is an increase in student concept mastery as evidenced by the average N-Gain score of 0.47 which is categorized as moderate.

Abstract

Multi-representation ability is one of the important skills to be developed. One of them is because it can play a role in helping students master the material being taught. In science subjects, one of the materials that uses quite diverse forms of representation is simple planes. This shows that there is a possibility that students' multi-representation abilities will affect students' understanding of the material. In addition, another factor that can influence is the adversity quotient of students. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the students' multi-representation ability on simple plane material in terms of Adversity Quotient Aspects. The research method used is a mixed method with a sequential explanatory design. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII G UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Bangkalan with a total of 30 students. The research instrument used was a multi-representation ability test and interview guidelines. The results of this study are the high category of multi-representation abilities consisting of 4 students, the medium category consisting of 22 students, and the low category consisting of 4 students with an average test score of 58.33. The results of the interview show that students' multi-representation abilities and understanding of simple plane materials support and influence each other. Students with multi-representation abilities and good understanding of the material can easily understand the questions given and can also give correct answers, thus obtaining high test scores. owever, the adversity quotient is not always directly proportional to student test results.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of students' misconceptions using the five-tier diagnostic test on the concept of vibration, waves, and light at UPT SMPN 21 Gresik. This study used a quantitative descriptive research method. The population in this study consisted of all students in grade VIII, which consisted of three classes. Sampling was carried out using saturated samples with a total of 80 students divided into three classes, namely class VIIIA, VIIIB, and VIIIC. The data collected used the fivetier diagnostic test instrument. The results of the study showed that: 1) the percentage of classical misconceptions from 80 students was 23,60%, 2) students who experienced high category misconceptions on the concepts of vibration, waves, and light were 14 students with a percentage of 17,50%, students who experienced moderate category misconceptions were 52 students with a percentage of 65,00%, and students who experienced low category misconceptions were 14 students with a percentage of 17,50%, 3) students' misconceptions on the concept of vibration were 28,82%, the concept of waves was 21,18%, and the concept of light was 24,47%.

Abstract

Integrated science learning in ethnoscience is very important because students can know the concrete form of local culture by constructing indigenous knowledge of the community in the process of making shrimp paste into scientific knowledge which is implemented through learning media in the form of e-modules. The purpose of this study was to produce an e-module and determine the level of validity, and student readability to an integrated science-based e-module based on ethnoscience using a flipbook with the theme of rebon shrimp paste. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE development model. The population in this study were all students of class VIII MTsN 2 Sumenep with a sample of class VIII-B. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were validation sheets of media experts, material experts, science teachers, and questionnaires student readability. The results showed that: 1) The results of the media aspect validity were 88.74% and the reliability value was 95.71% with very valid and very reliable categories. The value of the validity of the material aspect is 86.11% and the reliability value is 89.66% with a very valid and very reliable category. 2) Students' readability scores a percentage value of 88.18% with a very good category.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu faktor pendukung dalam proses pembelajaran yang berperan penting bagi guru maupun siswa. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang menarik untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa yakni berbasis IT. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan flip pdf professional pada materi cahaya dan alat optik pendekatan SETS yang praktis dan layak untuk digunakan. Penelitian ini mengaplikasi model ADDIE oleh Lee dan Owens, yang terdiri dari analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, evaluasi. Adapun subjek uji coba pada penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelompok, yakni kelompok kecil dan besar. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) hasil rerata validitas sebesar 0,85 dengan keterangan sangat tinggi pada aspek media. Pada aspek materi rerata validitas sebesar 0,83 dengan keterangan sangat tinggi. (2) rerata hasil kepraktisan media di kelompok kecil sebesar 97,62% dan kelompok besar sebesar 89,00% dengan keterangan sangat praktis. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan ebook materi cahaya dan alat optik pendekatan SETS layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan praktis. Dalam ebook tidak hanya interaktif namun juga dilengkapi dengan beberapa fitur menarik agar siswa lebih tertarik belajar.

Abstract

Literasi Sains Siswa SMPN dan SMP Berbasis Pesantren Burneh: Eksplorasi Suhu dan Kalor Konteks Petis Klampis. Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk mengetahui perbedaan literasi sains peserta didik SMPN dan SMP berbasis pesantren Burneh menggunakan instrumen berbasis kearifan lokal petis Klampis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif menggunakan metode deskriptif komparatif. Populasi penelitian ini terdiri dari peserta didik kelas VII di SMPN dan SMP berbasis pesantren Burneh, dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 141 peserta didik yang diperoleh melalui teknik stratified random sampling berdasarkan nilai akreditasi SMPN dan SMP berbasis pesantren di Burneh. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes literasi sains yang terdiri dari tiga soal uraian, tiga soal pilihan ganda, dan tiga soal pilihan ganda kompleks yang telah divalidasi oleh dua ahli dengan tingkat validitas 92,71%, dikategorikan sebagai sangat valid. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,011<0,05, sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima yang mengindikasikan terdapat perbedaan literasi sains antara peserta didik SMPN dengan peserta didik SMP berbasis pesantren Burneh.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the increase in students' conceptual understanding between the control class using a conventional learning model (lecture) and the experimental class using a guided inquiry learning model assisted by interactive powerpoint on the material of the earth and the solar system. The study was conducted at the UPTD SMPN 1 Bangkalan school on grade VII students in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The sample used in this study were grade VII-B students as the control class and grade VII-C students as the experimental class. The results showed that there was a difference in the average posttest score between the control class and the experimental class. In the hypothesis test, the posttest results used the non-parametric Mann Whitney U test with a sig. (2 tailed) of 0,000 which is smaller 0,05 which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. And there was an increase in conceptual understanding on the material of the earth and the solar system with an average N-Gain value of 0,58 which is included in the moderate criteria. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the guided inquiry model assisted by interactive powerpoint on students' conceptual understanding

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA dengan berpendekatan etnosains masih jarang diterapkan karena kurang maksimal dalam mengeksplorasi dalam mengintegrasikan materi IPA dalam sains ilmiah. Siswa cenderung kurang menyukai belajar IPA yang berkaitan dengan rumus perhitungan serta minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang berbasis etnosains. Solusi yang dapat diberikan adalah dengan mengembangkan media web mobile learning berbasis etnosains pada materi konduktivitas. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan respons siswa terhadap media. Pengembangan ini merupakan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 2 Kamal kelas VII-A dengan 28 siswa pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2021-2022. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket validasi ahli media, ahli materi, guru IPA, serta respons siswa terhadap media. Berdasarkan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa : (1) pengembangan media web mobile learning berbasis etnosains pada materi konduktivitas SMP layak digunakan dengan persentase dari ahli media 89.18% dan reliabilitas 93.76%, ahli materi memberikan penilaian dengan kategori layak digunakan dengan skor rata-rata 87.29% dan reliabilitas 95.41%. (2) Respons siswa dengan nilai rata-rata 88.19% dengan kategori sangat baik.Science learning with an ethnoscience approach is still rarely applied because it is not optimal in exploring and integrating science material in scientific science. Student tend not to like learning science related to calculation formulas and the lack of use of ethnoscience-based learning media. The solution that can be given is to develop an ethnoscience-based web mobile learning media on the conductivity material.The purpose of this development is to know the advisability, and responses of student to web mobile learning media. The development is developed by using ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The research was conducted in SMP Negeri 2 Kamal with a sample of 28 students of class VII-A in the even semester of academic year 2021-2022. Data collection techniques using questionnaires are media expert validation questionnaires, material expert validation, science teacher validation, and student responses to the media. Based on the results of the study concluded that : (1) Development of ethnoscience-based mobile learning web mobile learning media on conductivity material for junior high schools is suitable for use with a percentage of media experts 89.18% and reliability 93.76%, material experts provide an assessment with a suitable category for use with an average score 87.29% and reliability 95.41%. (2) Student responses with an average of 88.19% with a very good category.
